I came here at night and the place was packed inside because of the world cup. My server was really a pretty girl named Audrey. She came outside to the patio and sat me next to the heater. She could tell I was cold LOL. I ordered a beer and I tried the sliders that the server recommended. They were actually pretty good and I would eat them again. There were a couple of tv's outside that were showing the game. They have a jukebox that you can play music from your phone on but the queue was long so I don't recommend it. This is a good spot to watch sports, have some food or drinks, and talk to the server. read more

I came by on a Monday at 12:45am and it was STILL lit with very nice people and bartenders. This place is THE spot in Anaheim for beers. The food is also quite excellent. Would not hesitate to chill here to work on my laptop with good food and beers. They have $1 tacos on Tuesday. In this economy? $1? Say less. Seriously what a horrible experience! So me and my two gfs went to Lopes & Lefty's for the World Cup final. They opened at 10am so we made sure to get there right before so we can grab a decent table. There wasn't many people waiting so it was good. We got a good table. We ordered our drinks from Mars, our server who was lovely along with food. While we were sitting there, this man pops in to the bar from the back door and starts yelling at everyone on the high top tables, "these tables are reserved and you all need to move!": we were like wtf? Who is this guy? Turns out, his name is MO and he's one the of managers. We told MO, no one told us these tables were reserved and, we are not moving as it's not cool to make people move (it's pretty packed by this time). He said it's not fair for bigger parties to not have a place to sit. Well MO, that's not our problem and we got here early and made sure we did so we don't have to worry about that. He then proceeds to be extremely rude, telling us "he's not in the mood today to argue". This guy was walking around, staring at us with this mean look. He made us soooo uncomfortable that we decided to leave. We went to this bar to have a good time, spend our hard earned money, and we get treated like this? Noooo. Not ok. Mo- you shouldn't work in the service industry if you don't plan to treat people with respect. read more

Overall good experience for my party considering my visit was during a World Cup watch party. I think it helped that we knew what we wanted each time we interacted with the staff, and they were very receptive and speedy despite the crowds. My friend and I ordered the Halo and Anaheim burgers, then split them half-and-half so we could eat both. I would highly recommend the burgers, both very solid choices and each one was distinct in terms of the sauces, toppings, and overall flavor. The Halo burger definitely tasted more like a BBQ-style burger, I really liked the sauce but it wasn't spicy despite including habanero. The Anaheim burger tasted fresher, like roasted chiles from the Anaheim pepper and pepper Jack cheese. Didn't really notice the tortilla strips though. A generous amount of very crispy fries was served with each burger, they looked as if they might have been double-fried. I asked for ketchup and received a bottle that came straight out of the fridge and bore the dried remnants of sauce around the cap from previous use. Was not a fan of this. I'm not a frequent visitor of sports bars and was planning to get drinks somewhere else after dinner, so the ambiance was not particularly my cup of tea. I really wanted to like Lopez & Lefty's, but the service completely ruined what should have been a fun Sunday afternoon outing. I brought a friend who had never been here before, and after this experience it's probably safe to say it was also his last. We came in during the middle of the Canada World Cup match, expecting a lively sports bar atmosphere, but instead we were met with a server who was rude, unenthusiastic, and completely uninterested in providing even the most basic level of customer service. Every interaction made it feel like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. Never got a name since she didn't bother to offer it. I understand it can get busy when short-handed, but being busy doesn't excuse being unfriendly or making your guests feel unwelcome. A little effort and a positive attitude would have gone a long way. To make matters worse, my beer was served in a glass that still had dried chamoy residue from whoever used it before me. That's simply unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail. Even if the food was good, the overall experience left a bad taste in both of our mouths. Customer service is just as important as the food, and this visit failed badly in that department. I'll definitely think twice before ever coming back, and unfortunately my friend has no reason to give this place a second chance. There are far too many sports bars in Orange County that make customers feel appreciated. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because experiences like this drive people away. read more

Interesting place. It's definitely a bar first, restaurant second. For some reason the ac was on an extremely cold setting.. Like freezing cold even with the doors and windows open. The bartender was really cool. The food was decent but an odd food selection. Kind of strange that a sports bar has mostly Mexican food but that seems to be the way it goes in Anaheim. Best sports bar in town, hands down!! The vibes here are immaculate and the place is always POPPING. Great music and sound system here with plenty of high quality TVs all over. Service is hit or miss, but typically pretty good and they're all friendly, it's just super busy all the time so I try to cut them some slack. Their food is pretty good, especially the burgers. The Halo burger is a must try, it's their staple and for good reason -- it's BOMB! Also, you have to try their onion rings, some of the best I've ever had. We got the chips, salsa & guac and the salsa was super watery and straight up tasted like diced habaneros/jalapenos. It was super spicy and had no flavor. We asked for a red salsa and it was better, but still wasn't good. They need to up their salsa game! My friends liked their fish taco and burgers, and my beers were great. Stopped by Lopez & Lefty's in Anaheim about an hour before a game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and it turned out to be the perfect pregame spot. Tucked away in a plaza, it's a hidden gem that a lot of Angels fans seem to know about. The vibe is super cool with that true local bar energy. I ordered the Halo Burger and it was on another level. They even designed it to resemble the Big A from the stadium, which was a great touch. My mom got the BLT with sweet potato fries and that was just as tasty. The food came out quickly, which was clutch since we still had to make it to the game on time. The workers were friendly and accommodating, and everything just flowed smoothly. The place to watch any and all games! Located in an industrial style shopping center you wouldn't expect to find this gem here. Parking is available both in the front and back. They have an inside and outside section. No hostess so you do have to wait around and see if you find something. Despite how busy it was the waitress was constantly checking on all the tables and service was fast! Food was good and cocktails weren't that great but keep in mind it is a sports bar. Came to Lopez & Lefty for like the third time and I brought my sister because I knew it's been a solid place for drinks and food. When we got there Little did I know the person cleaning our table and asking for our drinks was the owner AJ. He was so helpful to get us started. The guy was super cool and funny. Then our waitress Maritza came to help us keep the good time going with our food order. They brought our food out pretty fast. I had the roasted pepper chicken and it was delicious (Chefs kiss). I think my wife's order was confused and we let the team know. The owner actually replaced our food pretty quickly after which is amazing. He came by again checked in, he made the whole experience better. I'd recommend blood orange margarita and roasted pepper chicken. My wife says she recommends the passion fruit margarita. It was my first time here with my coworkers and it was a blast. I've all the time, but I've never stopped by until now. There's a nice little place with a lot of TVs in drink selections. All of the servers in Martinez were super nice and they definitely take care of you no matter what. Patio is nice where you can still watch the game going on powering drinks on the side bar. Food is speaking good too Taquitos were delicious and the side salad was awesome in the middle. Nachos had a lot of toppings and carne asada was pretty tender. Overall, I had an absolutely fantastic time there watching the Raiders lose. Decided to come here with some friends before catching the angels vs dodgers game on Wednesday 8/13. It was busy but able to get a table for 4 pretty quickly around 4pm. Their food menu is pretty decent. Our group ordered their wings, pulled pork sandwich and a chicken salad. Everything tasted fine and the alcoholic drinks were pretty good. We even ordered a couple of their special shots. Only downside was we asked for a soda refill several times and our server forgot...she finally brought it when we were done and had to wave someone over to get the check. I came here before an angels game since it was near the stadium and they have Angels themed burgers I'm a burger lover, this place has been on my list forever. I was finally in the area and came here with family from out of town before the game. (On the yelp page it says it's the place to be and pregame here before all angels and ducks games) HUGE BONUS! It turns out you get a discount off your entire bill if you come in before or AFTER a game. Just show your ticket. So we showed our angels tickets for the game which was later that night. They also have a first responders discount. I think it's awesome when local places show their appreciation As soon as you walk in you see the bar (the whole place is mostly bar along with a bunch of TVs for sports, of course. It's just your local sports dive bar. Nothing fancy! (Not a diss towards them) The place was standard, Just amazing food! It even said they have won awards for their burgers. Also, loud music playing We were told to seat ourself. We picked a booth. It's mostly high top tables (They also offer outdoor patio seating) but we sat inside. The outdoor seating is dog friendly I told them it was our first time and I saw the angels themed burgers from all the yelp photos (they have the Halo burger which looks like the stadium sign. And, the Anaheim burger) And don't worry, if you're not a burger lover like I am, they have a bit of everything. I ended up picking the Halo burger, fries and ranch, of course. Their ranch is delicious and homemade And then we ordered The pineapple burger Regular burger A bowl of their chipotle chicken soup They were also doing dollar street tacos (they had about 4-5 to pick from, it was taco Tuesday) we got a couple of them (not pictured) And Irish nachos with no green onions (so basically bacon cheese fries. Which, I'm not complaining. These hit the spot) We did order a deep fried brownie with ice cream. I wish it was bigger. It definitely wasn't big enough for the 4 of us. They only had one other option (a churro dessert). So I do wish they had a couple more desserts I wish I could have had a couple drinks here before the game, but since my surgery was less than 48 hours away I decided against the drinks. But I'll definitely be coming back here before games in the future. Staff was all super friendly. Kim was taking care of us. She was absolutely great. Whenever we had a question about a menu item she went and asked right away and didn't act like we were an inconvenience. It also looked like she was working the bar as well. I honestly only saw her and one guy working and the place was extremely busy. It wasn't even prime time hours. So extra points for, Kim It looked like a bunch of local regulars. Which is always a GOOD sign I like the location, it's convenient Even though its mostly bar vibes, it says kid friendly Food came out extremely fast! And with no hiccups (we did have a lot of modifications on our orders and it came out exactly how we asked) They have up close private parking HUGE portions. Only complaint is now I'm way too full to eat anything at the game lol Great value!! Especially when everything is going up in price. It's delicious AND huge. You can't even get a cheaper meal at most fast food places. So why not come support a local business They also boast a pretty large beer menu. So if you're a beer lover, here's your spot 5 stars for service (thank you, Kim for taking care of us) 100000 stars for the food! 5 stars for parking and location 5 stars for being open late And let's be honest, Sports bars normally aren't my thing. But who doesn't crave some good bar food? Especially late at night or before a game / watching the game on tv here. The food was delicious and I'll 100 percent be back. I'm sorry but I will probably get hate for this review but I'm just being honest on my visit here today 8/4/25. We moved to the area last year and wanted to try a "local" spot to celebrate our 12 yr anniversary. Saw on Yelp 4.2 . Well today's visit would get anywhere close to that. We walked in and it wasn't really crowded. A 10 top that was just chilling drinking beers and small foods and several locals at the bar. We sat for almost 10 mins before even getting a hello. I was told our waitress/bartender would be right with us. We were not in any rush and had all night and just wanted to have fun. After another 5 mins that same girl comes up and says sorry can I get u started. We ordered a couple drinks and an app. Then finally our waitress comes up to us and told us our app is working if we wanted to order any food. We said sure and we gave our order. I also asked for 2 shots and she suggested fire ball since it was on special today and said yes 2 please. Well the app came out and literally 1 min later our burgers come out. First off the Irish nachos were fire! The burgers were ok NEEDED more salt. Their ranch was probably the best tasting ranch I have had at a restaurant in a long time! Oh did I forget we never got the 2 shots? We were never asked for more drinks until after the waitress saw me pull out my wallet. But I watched both waitresses run around and get EVERYONE else refills even the party of 10 got 2 before we got an ask. So over all of ur a local and a regular u will not get served.
