This is a fun sports bar with happy hour til 7PM! They had $1 off draft beers and $5 well drinks, along with $2 off apps. We got the chips, salsa & guac and the salsa was super watery and straight up tasted like diced habaneros/jalapenos. It was super spicy and had no flavor. Stopped by Lopez & Lefty's in Anaheim about an hour before a game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and it turned out to be the perfect pregame spot. Tucked away in a plaza, it's a hidden gem that a lot of Angels fans seem to know about. The vibe is super cool with that true local bar energy. I ordered the Halo Burger and it was on another level. They even designed it to resemble the Big A from the stadium, which was a great touch. My mom got the BLT with sweet potato fries and that was just as tasty. The food came out quickly, which was clutch since we still had to make it to the game on time. The workers were friendly and accommodating, and everything just flowed smoothly. The place to watch any and all games! Located in an industrial style shopping center you wouldn't expect to find this gem here. Parking is available both in the front and back. They have an inside and outside section. No hostess so you do have to wait around and see if you find something. Despite how busy it was the waitress was constantly checking on all the tables and service was fast! Food was good and cocktails weren't that great but keep in mind it is a sports bar. Came to Lopez & Lefty for like the third time and I brought my sister because I knew it's been a solid place for drinks and food. When we got there Little did I know the person cleaning our table and asking for our drinks was the owner AJ. He was so helpful to get us started. The guy was super cool and funny. Then our waitress Maritza came to help us keep the good time going with our food order. They brought our food out pretty fast. I had the roasted pepper chicken and it was delicious (Chefs kiss). I think my wife's order was confused and we let the team know. The owner actually replaced our food pretty quickly after which is amazing. He came by again checked in, he made the whole experience better. I'd recommend blood orange margarita and roasted pepper chicken. My wife says she recommends the passion fruit margarita. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU'RE EXPECTING BASIC RESPECT AND SERVICE. I came here for the first time today on Monday 5/18 from around 6:30-9 PM with a group of friends to watch the Spurs vs. OKC game, and the behavior from one of the bartenders was genuinely shocking. She was a young female employee wearing a blue DFYNE workout set with a bubble braid with a sleeve on her left arm, and she was by far the rudest, most confrontational service worker I have ever encountered. The issues started early in the night when my friend ordered a Modelo before 7 PM during happy hour. After waiting an extremely long time, we politely checked on the drink because the bar was nearly empty and she was one of only two employees working the floor. Instead of simply checking the order, she immediately became defensive and later claimed my friend "never ordered with her," despite the fact that she had already checked his ID while taking the order. Completely dishonest and unnecessarily argumentative over a simple mistake. Later in the night, after the game went into overtime, my girlfriends and I asked about a Monday wells drink promotion and were rudely told it was "an old promotion." Fine. No issue there. We then ordered different drinks directly at the bar on a separate tab and waited there for them while watching. When the drinks still hadn't arrived after a long wait, I politely approached the MALE bartender since she seemed busy and said, "Hi! We ordered 3 Fireball shots and a gin and tonic--" before the female bartender abruptly bent over, cut me off mid-sentence, and snapped at me in an extremely passive-aggressive tone: "I already dropped them off at the table, BABE." I was stunned by how disrespectful and condescending she was for absolutely no reason. I rolled my eyes and walked away because I had no interest in escalating things. Instead of acting professionally, she immediately started yelling at me across the bar in front of all the customers: "YOU ROLLED YOUR EYES, YOU DON'T NEED TO GIVE ME ATTITUDE." At that point, the entire bar was staring. She created a loud public scene with customers over a completely minor misunderstanding that SHE caused. What made this even more validating was that after my group left, another customer who was sitting at the bar actually came outside to tell me that "I was not in the wrong and that the bartender was being rude to her as well." The fact that a complete stranger felt compelled to tell me this says everything about how inappropriate this employee's behavior was. What made the situation even worse was how selective her behavior seemed to be. Throughout the night, she was extremely attentive and friendly toward male patrons while being noticeably cold toward the females. The customer who later came outside to talk to us even pointed this out herself and specifically commented that her behavior toward us versus male customers was obvious. This wasn't just bad service. This was aggressive and unprofessional behavior from someone who clearly should not be customer facing if she cannot regulate her attitude. I understand it was understaffed and she must've been overwhelmed but her behavior was unacceptable. Management seriously needs to reevaluate who they are hiring and how employees are trained to treat customers because no paying patron should experience this. read more

It was my first time here with my coworkers and it was a blast. I've all the time, but I've never stopped by until now. There's a nice little place with a lot of TVs in drink selections. All of the servers in Martinez were super nice and they definitely take care of you no matter what. Patio is nice where you can still watch the game going on powering drinks on the side bar. Food is speaking good too Taquitos were delicious and the side salad was awesome in the middle. Nachos had a lot of toppings and carne asada was pretty tender. Decided to come here with some friends before catching the angels vs dodgers game on Wednesday 8/13. It was busy but able to get a table for 4 pretty quickly around 4pm. Their food menu is pretty decent. Our group ordered their wings, pulled pork sandwich and a chicken salad. Everything tasted fine and the alcoholic drinks were pretty good. We even ordered a couple of their special shots. I came here before an angels game since it was near the stadium and they have Angels themed burgers I'm a burger lover, this place has been on my list forever. I was finally in the area and came here with family from out of town before the game. (On the yelp page it says it's the place to be and pregame here before all angels and ducks games) HUGE BONUS! It turns out you get a discount off your entire bill if you come in before or AFTER a game. Just show your ticket. So we showed our angels tickets for the game which was later that night. They also have a first responders discount. It's just your local sports dive bar. Nothing fancy! (Not a diss towards them) The place was standard, Just amazing food! It even said they have won awards for their burgers. Also, loud music playing We were told to seat ourself. We picked a booth. It's mostly high top tables (They also offer outdoor patio seating) but we sat inside. The outdoor seating is dog friendly I told them it was our first time and I saw the angels themed burgers from all the yelp photos (they have the Halo burger which looks like the stadium sign. And, the Anaheim burger) And don't worry, if you're not a burger lover like I am, they have a bit of everything. I ended up picking the Halo burger, fries and ranch, of course. Their ranch is delicious and homemade And then we ordered The pineapple burger Regular burger A bowl of their chipotle chicken soup They were also doing dollar street tacos (they had about 4-5 to pick from, it was taco Tuesday) we got a couple of them (not pictured) And Irish nachos with no green onions (so basically bacon cheese fries. Which, I'm not complaining. These hit the spot) We did order a deep fried brownie with ice cream. I wish it was bigger. It definitely wasn't big enough for the 4 of us. They only had one other option (a churro dessert). So I do wish they had a couple more desserts I wish I could have had a couple drinks here before the game, but since my surgery was less than 48 hours away I decided against the drinks. But I'll definitely be coming back here before games in the future. Staff was all super friendly. Kim was taking care of us. She was absolutely great. Whenever we had a question about a menu item she went and asked right away and didn't act like we were an inconvenience. It also looked like she was working the bar as well. I honestly only saw her and one guy working and the place was extremely busy. It wasn't even prime time hours. So extra points for, Kim It looked like a bunch of local regulars. Lisa is a great bartender and she took great care of our group! I had a carnitas crispy taco and a crispy fish taco and both were amazing. The crema on the fish taco was really spicy, but my beer helped wash it down. I asked for a Racer 5, but they don't have it any more (I hadn't been here in several years), so Lisa recommended the Order of Combat IPA by Bottle Logic. I love that brewery so I took her word for it and was very pleased. Overall I had a great time. The place was pretty full for a happy hour on Wednesday at 5 pm, but we were able to get a table right away. We went there last night as a group of four. Our server was really good. That was the highlight of everything we were trying to talk to each other in the music was so loud that we lost our voices by screaming to each other. I found out who the owner/manager was and asked them if he could turn down the music and he was annoyed that I asked him. It was super packed because of the hockey game, which I understand. Looking for a place open at 10:30 for a final nightcap and it was surprisingly hard to find in the area. Someone suggested Lopez And Lefty's and it was the perfect place to enjoy our drinks. It's surprisingly large in the inside and it was fully packed on a Thursday night, we were able to grab the last table for a group of 4. There is a mix of different demographics and ages, it was also loud inside and you speaking louder to be heard adds to the noise. Its supposed to be a surf inspired interior but I would call it more Mexican themed with Corona flags hanging from the ceiling and they even have red and green lighting. The waitress was attentive and fast even though it was packed and we had no problems ordering, getting our drinks, and checking out. I had a Johnny walker black with a splash of coke and finished my friends blue moon, both were good for the price. The woman's bathroom is inside and the men's bathroom is outside near the entrance. If you are sitting near the back, there is a back entrance that stays propped open letting in cold air. They have some angel wings painted near the entrance for photo ops and a non-working neon sign missing letters in the bushes that is cooler in shambles than if it was lit up and perfect. read more

We were only here for about 30 minutes and it was chaos. I arrived during last call at 1:18am and heard (from my car) someone inside on a megaphone saying they were closing in 30minutes. So I hustled to get inside, and after a very kind bouncer checked my ID, I fought my way through billions of people to the mound of people trying to buy their last drinks. The person on the megaphone seemed to make a last call or closing announcement just about every five seconds, so it was pretty chaotic. From what I could see, the place looked pretty clean, well lit and if it wasn't so packed and I wasn't fighting for my life shoulder to shoulder with a billion people, I could see myself enjoying it there. Bartenders were ok. I stood at the front of the bar, very obviously waiting to order, and watched the two main women bartenders ignore me to help men that weren't waiting. After a bit, one of the men helped me, and by that time, we had about 10-15mins to finish our drinks. My friend and I kept having to pause our conversation because of the constant megaphone reminders, and left very overstimulated. I'd try this place again maybe around midday. read more

I was told our waitress/bartender would be right with us. We were not in any rush and had all night and just wanted to have fun. After another 5 mins that same girl comes up and says sorry can I get u started. We ordered a couple drinks and an app. Then finally our waitress comes up to us and told us our app is working if we wanted to order any food. We said sure and we gave our order. I also asked for 2 shots and she suggested fire ball since it was on special today and said yes 2 please. Well the app came out and literally 1 min later our burgers come out. First off the Irish nachos were fire! The burgers were ok NEEDED more salt. Their ranch was probably the best tasting ranch I have had at a restaurant in a long time! Oh did I forget we never got the 2 shots? We were never asked for more drinks until after the waitress saw me pull out my wallet. Ok, this place is a sports bar so a lot of patrons are imbibing happily, which I'm NOT against, however I came here to actually try their asada nachos. Place is very noisy as there are multiple screens with Sunday football and you know how it goes when it comes to sports and booze, the more you drink, the louder and more excited you get! :D I actually felt a little bad that I wasn't going to partake in any drunkery but the wait staff here were friendly and attentive, nonetheless! So i was brought my non alcoholic Arnold Palmer and then the nachos came out. WHOA BABY! Piled high with bite size chunks of asada, nice dallops of sour cream and guac, come pick de gallo and pickled Jalapeños...oh, and of course beans but not too much which is perfect. Everything was tasty but I gotta say the stars were the tortilla chips! They tasted like they were made to order and packed a deliciously satisfying crunch in every bite! The meat was nicely seasoned, however, I like to salt my food generously and a salt shaker was promptly provided upon request. This order is easily shareable but since 1. I wasn't drinking and 2. I was alone ( All By Myseeeelf) all that NOM-NOM was MINE! Now, a lot of large groups of friends/adult families come here to have a good time so this place is in no way, a dive bar. Atmosphere is yes, a little loud, but welcoming and feels pretty safe overall.
