We got back to our hotel across from Disneyland entrance and it was raining so we decided to go to the Mexican Restaurant across the street! We started with the Michelada which sounded refreshing! It's savory, tangy, spicy, and perfect if you like a Bloody Mary but want something lighter with calm juice! We had a house Mexican Larger to go with the mix! Usually they come in a pint glass but tonite they came in a schooner glass! They were super strong! I took my friends in a to go cup back to the hotel! I was feeling after just one! We both had the chicken quesadilla which was average with not much sour cream it was a dollop of daisy along with lettuce and pico. It would have been nice to haven gotten more sour cream with the 4 big pieces of quesadilla. It came with nice warm chips and a lovely salas. The staff were excellent and our waiter, Isaac was adorable and very attentive! Thank you for a beautiful evening!!

If you're visiting Disneyland and looking for a Mexican restaurant nearby, Calaca Mama's is worth checking out. The food was good, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The drinks were okay--not necessarily the highlight, but they did the job. The biggest thing to keep in mind is the location. Since it's right outside Disneyland and in a heavily tourist-oriented area, expect to pay a little more than you normally would for Mexican food. That said, the convenience, good food, and pleasant service make it a decent option when you're in the area. Overall, a solid place to grab a Mexican meal while visiting Disneyland. Just come prepared for tourist-area prices!

Great location right across from Disneyland and an excellent spot to stop when you're hungry after a long day at the parks. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and stay open late, which is a huge plus. There's a great variety of food and drink options, and the portions are generous. It's a little on the pricey side, but everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were large enough that we easily had leftovers to bring back. The staff was friendly and service was quick. We really enjoyed everything we tried and would definitely visit again!

Cadillac Margarita. Quesabirria Tacos

I dined at this spot for dinner in April 2026 when in town with family on a Disneyland vacation. We were staying right near this location on Harbor Boulevard. It eas very convenient as it is located right by the crosswalk that takes you over to Disneyland. Our experience was pretty much all positive with one negative. Pros: They got our party of nine seated right away around 5:45 PM. We came with another family from home that happened to be down in Disneyland. Everyone liked their food/drinks. I got the quesabirria tacos with rice and beans. They were very flavorful. My kids liked their food. My wife liked her food. I do not recall what they ordered. I had a Cadillac Margarita. It was excellent. Service: Service was friendly and efficient. No mistakes. Everything came in a timely fashion. Convenience: If you're staying on Harbor Boulevard this is one of your best options if you don't want to eat on Disney property. They also have a happy hour and are open late. I'd definitely come here for a nightcap after leaving Disneyland if I was just with my wife. Con: There is only one. It's the prices. Man this place has some high prices. Now I get that it's 2026 and everything is pricey. I also get your paying for the convenience and prime location across from Disneyland. Even with those two factors I think this place is charging too much . I paid $29 dollars for quesabirria tacos and $21 for a Cadillac Margarita. That seems excessive. Final Thoughts: We had a good experience with good food, good service, good drinks, and the convenience. If you don't mind paying the premium for that then by all means I recommend this spot. I'd probably come back myself if I was staying nearby. Just know what you're walking into price wise.

Calaca Mama's is a Mexican restaurant located at the entrance of The Disneyland Resort on Harbor. The pros include convenience for those staying at nearby hotels. The cons, for locals like myself, would be the tight parking in the Best Western lot, hiked up prices due to its proximity to Disney property, and small menu with no specials (like taco Tuesday). All taco plates, burritos, or bowls are $24. The restaurant was very bright, dimming the lights and adding accent lighting would make a huge difference in the overall ambiance and warmth. Staff were friendly, but new and forgot some of the order, once reminded they grabbed it quickly. Then price of the food for what you're getting is lacking, as a local I don't see myself returning to this location - but for those on vacation staying nearby the food is decent, we appreciated the complementary chips and salsa.

The restaurant had really nice decor. The location was great and walking distance from our hotel and right access the street from Disney. The food was okay. Resort prices kinda kill the vibe. The food was good but not at those prices.

Went to disneyland on a rainy day. On the way back to the hotel, this restaurant was on the corner. Decided to try it out since the location is so convenient! It's literally across from Disney after the crosswalk. My family and I were seated right away. We were in wet ponchos but the staff didn't fuss about it. Our server Bryan was really attentive and explained some of the dishes to us. I got a margarita mocktail and birria ramen. Food came out quickly. I was freezing so I wanted soup. The ramen broth and noodles hit the spot on a cold day. my brother and husband also liked their order. Bryan checked on us frequently to make sure we were ok. ambiance is modern and casual. Lots of seating. They also sell some disney souvenirs in there.

We came here on a Tuesday night. Made reservations, just in case, but there were many tables available. FOOD - carnitas plato 5/5: I love it when restaurants crisp up the carnitas. The charro beans were flavorful and the rice was tasty. - carne asada plato 5/5: cooked to your own preference. Meat was tender. Refried beans are a good option. DRINK - the Cadillac margarita is the way to go 5/5 SERVICE Our server was attentive and helpful. He constantly checked on us and at the end, surprised us with a churro firework show! I saw on their website that there is happy hour in the afternoon so this might be a nice spot if you want to pregame before heading to Disneyland in the evening. Also looks like a fun spot for dinner dates or small celebrations.

Came here with my sister, her husband, and my niece after being at Disneyland which is a small walk across. I ordered the quesabirria tacos, my brother in law got carne asada tacos, and my sister got the birria ramen. We also ordered a queso fondue for the table which was pretty bomb. Overall, the food here was pretty good. All of us left satisfied and full. The staff here is nice too. Definitely a solid option to go to if you're near Disneyland and not sure what to eat for dinner. Will definitely be back the next time I come to Disney. Try it out if you like. :)

First time at Calaca Mamas didn't know what to order so Jerry recommended the agua chiles OMG my fav I paired it with a cucumber margarita and it was just amazing, finished it off with a churro dessert with ice cream. Jerry was super sweet, patient he definitely has great customer service. Jerry really made my experience unforgettable. Loved the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant definitely very family friendly.

We visited here in October 2025 with friends. It was located right across from Disneyland and it was an easy walk and it's very accessible. The bathrooms here were extremely nice, a weird thing to point out, but worth mentioning, it's obvious that they care a lot about the customer experience. Okay, onto the food! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Our table was simple, we ordered chips and salsa, chips and guac, carne asada tots, and a bowl of rice. Everything was delicious and this place was very nice and service was incredible. Highly recommend!

We were there on Sunday, October 3rd around 3pm. We asked who the owners were because we were really impressed with the place and thought they might be the same owners as another location we had visited. There was absolutely no bad intention behind the question. The male bartender told us that no one name drops anymore. I understood what he was saying and was more than willing to move on. But then I asked him if the bar offered whiskey sours and he responded, "You really don't know what you're doing here and what you want." I was honestly so taken back by that comment. I don't normally stay quiet when someone speaks to me disrespectfully, but I was so caught off guard that I didn't even know what to say. Before that, he had also yelled out to the host that she didn't need to worry because we didn't know the owners and that she could relax. The whole interaction was completely unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable. We came in wanting to enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. There is a way to speak to customers, even if you feel they are asking questions you don't like. We did nothing to deserve that kind of attitude. The Blind Rabbit may be a great place, but unfortunately, the way we were treated by this bartender completely ruined the experience for us. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, ours was extremely disappointing.
