Another set of wonderful trips to the Chambers Bar and Bistro for breakfast and dinner during our stay at Indigo Hotel. For breakfast wife opted for the Churro Waffles this time which was good. For dinner we got the fish tacos and I tried the wings with fries. Both very good and very freshly made. While waiting I enjoyed a beer at the bar. The beer/liquor selection is pretty good but I opted for a beer. They also have happy hour but haven't had a chance to enjoy it. Thank you again for the service provided by Karin. My family greatly appreciates the kindness. We truly feel like we're treated as guests when we come. The Bistro is always very clean when we come which is nice. Stopped in for breakfast after walking by and seeing the sign out front and was very happy with the decision. Located in the small lobby area the restaurant bar glows with neon colors and a bright accent wall so it's very easy to see. Welcomed in to take a seat anywhere we were settled with drinks in mere minutes. Needing a protein boost I went with the ribeye and eggs. A decent sized steak cooked to chef choice and two over easy eggs it was a calorie boost to start the day. The green chilaquiles was plated well with pickled onions atop. I checked Yelp for a good place with steak and eggs and I found Chambers Bar and Bistro. I googled my way here and realized that its a hotel restaurant in the Indigo Hotel. I am not usually into eating at hotel restaurants, but thought I would give it a try. I ordered the Ribeye Steak and Eggs, medium rare. I was trying to eat healthier a bit so I asked for fruit instead of hash browns. The Ribeye steak later came out and was well done. The steak was a bit salty. I believe the steak was $18 and I would normally send it back. I had an upcoming meeting that I needed to attend and ate what I could. I probably would not come back here for steak and eggs during my next visit. I saw that they have drink specials and a happy hour menu. I do not think I would have any business being here unless I am staying at the hotel. I sat at the bar and service was good. That was a plus. read more

This place is perhaps one of the most overlooked gems in Anaheim. It is not big, it is not fancy, and it is not over the top like a lot of places around Disney. But it is also not crowded or dramatically overpriced! This place has a solid menu with enough variety to keep everyone happy for breakfast or dinner at prices that are not only reasonable but appropriate. After spending a week in Anaheim fighting for access to every restaurant in or near Disney, only to be outraged by the exorbitant prices, mediocre food and lackluster service, we found ourselves coming back to Chambers time and again. There was never a wait, service was AMAZING (Jose G is one of the nicest guys we have ever met and is amazingly thoughtful and attentive) and the prices and food were reasonable. Should we come back to Anaheim and Disney we will very likely stay at Hotel Indigo again, and we will eat here probably every day. read more

My family and I stayed in this hotel for our trip to Disney and CA Adventure weekend. We checked in just in time for happy hour at Chambers, which is in the lobby of the hotel. I ordered a dirty martini and a couple appetizers. The service was great, prices are cheap and the food was really good. The next morning, the 5 adults and 2 kids visited again for breakfast. Breakfast is a must. The staff handled our large party with ease, and the food, again, was excellent. Large portion, fresh, and really great combinations of breakfast plate offerings, along with the usual fare. Kids were excited to get Mickey Mouse pancakes to kick off their day. I was not expecting much from a Hotel restaurant although I was elated that the food was so good. 2 fish tacos and shrimp taco that will match any Taqueria I have been to. A side of Guac with chips all for under 11 bucks on the happy hour menu. If you are in the area this is great place for a meal and a drink. I was staying at the Ramada, sister property to the Indigo while it undergoes renovations. We were told to use the Indigo pool and glad we were. Next to it is the Chambers Bar & Bistro. I wandered into the lobby to look around was greeted by the front desk and a guy named Jesus. I saw the bar and bistro and too a peek in. It was 12 noon and workers were cleaning up, but Jesus asked if I needed anything. I asked when they opened and it wasn't till 4:30 for dinner. Apparently it's a breakfast, dinner place. He asked again if I needed a cocktail or a drink. I said sure if you don't mind. He said "whatever you need sir". Wow I was pleasantly surprised by this awesome service. He went behind the bar and his crew prepared my drinks. I was able to take them to the pool and relax. It's so nice and refreshing to see stand out customer service like this, especially at a smaller hotel. I told the crew thanks and jumped on Yelp to give Jesus his props. This hotel was in my list of possible stays but was sold out. Their customer service just encouraged me to book a stay here in the future. I had to knock down one star for not being open during any lunch hours and I couldn't rate the food. It would be perfect for a bite and drinks by the pool. For a hotel bar with full kitchen, Chambers has their service done right! Price points are your typical Disneyland, convention center, tourist, California price points but average around $10-12 so not too bad. It also helps that the portions are huge! The chicken quesadillas are amazing and we got this as an appetizer to share. They had a chicken, beef or fish taco plate with black beans served with flour tortillas that my husband happily devoured. I myself took on their Pho offerings and it totally hit the spot for my noodle soup needs! Offered in beef or chicken, they serve either proteins for you and the dish comes with sriatcha on the side. Bonus would be if they had hoisin! For dinner, they have an amazing selection and it seems they are popular for happy hour as well. The ambiance and seating area is quaint and when we went, it was packed with our fellow hotel stayers! We would definitely return for a good, quick, well serviced meal! read more

Checked in last night about 40 minutes before closing and wanted a quick meal. I had the pasta, wife had the club sandwich. My pasta had just a glob of mozzarella that was way too chewy (mix with another cheese!), had no underlying flavor, and used old, untoasted pine nuts. Extremely attentive and friendly staff checking back with us multiple times to make sure EVERYTHING was to our loving. My beautiful wife and I both had the Avocado BLT Egg Sandwich, and it was incredible. Every great sandwich starts with great bread, and this sandwich has it! Thick cut bacon helped make this sandwich great for me. My beautiful wife appreciated the perfectly cooked eggs and generous helping of avocado. Did I mention how HUGE the portions are? We could have easily split the sandwich and our beautiful daughters child's meal was almost as big as our meal! Would highly recommend Chambers to anyone staying in the area, even at other hotels! We were looking for a place for breakfast on our walk to Disneyland. This little gem is in the Indigo Hotel. Jose, our server, welcomed us in and immediately brought us coffee and tea. My husband had the hearty breakfast (2 eggs/hash browns/bacon/toast) and I had the parfait (granola/Greek yogurt/berries). Everything was fresh and delicious. I was looking for a Sunday happy hour and decided to try this place out. Since it is located in a hotel, the open lot only contains about 10-15 free parking spots. Otherwise, you need to be a guest of the hotel so that you can swipe open the underground parking gate. Happy hour is everyday between 5pm-7pm and this includes both food and drink items. The happy hour drinks are cocktails/beers/wines that range from $5-$7 each. I was disappointed in the carne asada fries, it definitely seems to cater to tourists who have not had the real deal in Mexican taco shops which are popular in the Anaheim area. The fries are more like steak fries doused in fake nacho cheese and fake guacamole on the side. I could not enjoy eating it at all without thinking of how this will affect my stomach the next day. To say the least, the cheese was just overwhelming and I only had a handful of bites. It was not worth $9 and I'm still hungry :(. My boyfriend got the $7 chicken tenders and fries, safe choice. On a happier note, the two guys working (Jesus and not sure the other one) were very friendly and attentive. They always made sure to check up on us, awesome! If you are walking to or from Disneyland/Anaheim Convention Center and hungry for happy hour, sure it might be a good idea. We visit the restaurant after Siggraph 2016, this place is near from the conference hall and we were just heading to find a bar after a tired day. I ordered oriental chicken salad and a skinny cocktail, they are great. The salad is really fresh and chicken is so tender to eat. I love the cocktail which is highly recommend in a hot summer evening. My boyfriend had a steak and another cocktail which I can hardly recall the name, something like a peach tea. It is a little bit sweet and I guess with rum inside. I am not very much in that favor but my boyfriend seems like it quite much. I am blown away by the service, price and food. The friendliest staff I have ever met, we showed up 5 min before closing and they stayed open for us even though there was only one other person there. They gave us plenty of time to choose and they didn't mind giving us recommendations either. The steak and eggs were tasty and the hash browns were crisp at the top and buttery in the middle. I don't know if they always offer vouchers for there meals but I got them for 2 steak and eggs breakfast platters which essentially came out to $10 each with oj. Amazing deal! You would expect to have a subpar breakfast at that price but it was not. The steak is juicy and the the eggs are buttery. Seriously you cannot complain about this meal. Food/Drinks: happy hour cocktails were $5 for ones that are regularly $10-12. These were quite good and we tried 4 different ones. However, the happy hour appetizers were lacking. The nachos were good for $5, but they used nacho cheese rather than real cheese. Chicken wings were okay. The quesadilla was a little disappointing as I ordered one without meat (additional cost) and it was just tortilla with two layers of sliced marble cheese in the middle. Both nachos and quesadilla came with guac, sour cream, and salsa. Service: Service was quite slow, as if we were almost forgotten outside even though the restaurant was quiet. I was in Anaheim for NAMM this year and went to Chambers twice. The service is phenomenal. It's a small place with weird lighting -- similar to other hotel bars nearby -- mostly fluorescent and rather bright, but the food and service were great. We had tacos and quesadillas one night; a burger and a club sandwich another night, both times with good beer and wine. It wasn't over crowded. We stayed at the Hotel Indigo because we went to Disney for a few days. Each night we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. First of all service is great. There are two different workers name Jesus and they are both great. Now for the food. The burgers are excellent. My wife had a Philly steak one of the nights and it was good. Their fried potatoes were awesome. One night we had a chicken Caesar. All fresh and good ingredients. The nachos were tasty snack one of the nights too. The only item I would avoid is the pizza. In their defense there's no good pizza in Cali anyways. If you are near chambers give it a try. read more
