Overall: good vibe, convenient location, but loud, pricey, and the food doesn't justify the cost. Puesto has a nice ambiance and a convenient location near the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland, but the vibe is definitely more adult‑oriented. The music is loud, and it gets packed during dinner, so make a reservation if you plan to go. Parking: Self‑parking is available, but you'll likely end up on the 4th floor. They validate for one hour only. We still paid $18 for an extra 1 hour and 10 minutes, which felt steep. Food is overpriced for what you get. The Guacamole flight with chips was the best thing we ordered. The Short Rib Bowl and Shrimp Bowl were both too salty. Service (Anthony) was friendly and moved at a good pace despite the crowd.

The food was good and the restaurant itself was beautiful with a nice atmosphere. However, the service was honestly disappointing and not up to the standard I expected. After being seated, it took quite a while before any server acknowledged us. The most frustrating part was the parking situation. The restaurant is able to validate parking, but our server never mentioned it after we finished eating, and I forgot to ask before leaving. When I came back shortly after to ask for parking validation, the restaurant had already closed and locked the doors. Staff saw me outside, but nobody was willing to open the door to help. Because of that, I ended up paying $43.75 for less than 2 hours of parking, which completely ruined the experience for me. Good food, but the service and lack of care afterward left a really bad impression. Remember to ask for parking validation before you leave. Your server doesn't care

I came here for dinner last year and remember being delighted by all the apps and drinks, and was excited to go back. Today it was a little less enjoyable. I ordered a Mango Margarita. It came with salt and I'm guessing Tajin and a ton of lime juice on the rim - it was so sour that my mouth puckered every time I got it in my mouth, and I'm not a Tajin fan. This rim wasn't listed on the menu and I feel it should be - I wasn't asked if I wanted a salt or sugar rim and would've preferred the sugar. I got the Potato Taquitos, which I was excited for, but there was too much potato filling in each and not enough sauce, they came off as dry. They came on a bed of guac and shredded veggies, but the guac was kind of buried so you didn't realize it was there. The sauces on the side were lackluster - the green thicker one tasted like a boring tomatillo salsa, and the liquidy one was very spicy (which I can't do). I got the Veggie Burrito Bowl and asked for some cotija cheese on top - I'm shocked it didn't come with shredded jack cheese or anything, and adding this helped a lot. The guac it came with didn't have a ton of flavor, which is weird because I remember loving it last year. Something in it was very spicy and made it hard for me to eat, but I couldn't figure out what, and nothing listed in this on the menu should've been spicy, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it. I'm told parking here is mandatory valet, but they charge after 2 hours, so we felt a little rushed. The plant themed decor is memorable and gorgeous - sadly I didn't get any pics! Our server was sweet but seemed scattered and uncomfortable. I asked for new silverware when my entree came out since my fork got in the spicy sauce I didn't like from the apps, and she never came back with it. After waiting 5 minutes while the rest of my table had entrees and was waiting for me to start eating, I finally asked a busboy, who quickly got me silverware and straws as I asked (both a short and large since he wasn't sure if I wanted it for my drink or water glass - very conscientious detail!) My 4 stars is really for the strong positive impression Puesto left on me last year - today was closer to a 3 star just because things were either too bland or too spicy without any warning from the menu. It's hard for me to not be happy with Mexican food but somehow everything was a little off from my preferences today. I'd still come again but would order differently or ask more detailed questions about how spicy things are.

Service and the ambiance is phenomenal! We shared the guacamole trio appetizer and esquite which was 10/10. The filet mignon and chicken Al pastor tacos were our fav! The pistachio tres leches is the only item we disliked, it had a passionfruit frosting. They reminded us about getting our parking validated which was awesome! Then we still had to pay $31.25 each while leaving the structure which was shocking. Pro tip, the Los Olivos location in Irvine has free parking.

We decided to get away from Anaheim Convention Center and the crowds at NAMM for lunch, and figured Puesto would be a solid bet: we know they have good food, the restaurant's a bit of a walk (definitely nothing too far, but you do have to get out of the convention center area) and we thought not many people would know it was even there. Turns out we were wrong. The wait for two people at 12:30 on a Friday was over an hour. We were on our way back to the door when the hostess told us there was immediate seating at the bar, which we took. They did only have two people working the bar that day, which meant service was a bit slow, but at least they were very friendly. We got started with a couple of beers (the Negra for both of us) and the Salsa Flight to start. For my main, I ordered one Short Rib Quesabirria and one Tamarindo Shrimp; my husband got one short rib and one Carnitas. The salsa flight was interesting. It featured their "house" salsa alongside the more "elevated" versions, which ranged from sweet to spicy. I did like having the options but found myself getting full off of chips and dip before our tacos even made an appearance. Which, I guess wasn't a terrible thing, but next time I think I'd suggest a different appetizer. The tacos were hot and fresh. I enjoyed the Quesabirria version - the meat was tender and saucy, the crunchy cheese on top added a nice bit of texture and a smokiness that balanced the flavors. But but BUT! Y'all, that tamarindo shrimp taco, though! I wanted to sing it sonnets after the first bite. The shrimp were perfectly cooked - deep fried and crispy - but it was that tamarindo sauce that pulled everything together. I would absolutely go back for just that taco and I would have no regrets.

I've been here before & decided to take my mom to celebrate her birthday/mother's day. She was SO HAPPY. The food was extremely flavorful. Our server Halie was friendly and attentive. We both got mango margaritas, the mango passionfruit ceviche, & 4 different tacos as it was taco Tuesday. Everything was BURSTING with flavor. Definitely will come back. The ambiance was nice. They gave us a Pistachio Tres Leches birthday dessert!

Located at Westin serving really good Mexican food and drinks in a beautiful setting. Loved the filet mignon taco and the grilled shrimp. The tamarind shrimp taco was a little sweet for me. Also loved the strawberry jalapeno margarita. Very conveniently located at The Westin where we were staying.

First timer at Puesto for taco Tuesday, and I've gotta say it was pretty good. I got the mushroom, lobster, and filet mignon taco. All of the meats were super tender. The mushroom one was also super flavorful. I loved the toppings that they put on each taco, they paired really well. The only thing for me was I didn't really love the crispy melted cheese on the mushroom and filet mignon taco. If you love cheese, they are right up your alley. But I'm not really a cheese girl myself, so it kind of felt a little over powering.

We're big fans of Puesto and have visited their San Diego locations, so we were excited to stop in after a long Disney day. Unfortunately, this visit left us disappointed. We ordered two filet mignon burritos and salsa & chips to go. We do enjoy spicy food, but the burritos were significantly more spicy than what we're used to at Puesto San Diego. The heat level felt inconsistent with what the dish is supposed to be. On top of that, the portion size of the burrito felt smaller than usual. At around $30 per burrito, you expect to walk away feeling like you got your money's worth. The salsa was also noticeably different. We're used to a vibrant red color, but this one came out very dark, almost black, as if the ingredients had been over-roasted or charred. Overall, it didn't match the quality and consistency we've come to expect from Puesto, which made the experience pretty disappointing.

Not your typical Mexican restaurant, it's a fancy smancy Mexican restaurant. They even take it a step further by taking away the free chips and salsa lol I came with my wife and daughter after a day at Knott's. We were famished and needed sustenance, Puesto provided that. We had a bit of a wait but went by fast, staff was friendly and answered questions I had. Drinks were good, our waiter Anthony was nice and attentive. I had a birria bowl, wife had a salad, Kiddo had carnita tacos. We were all satisfied and would come back again. Only recommendation is bring back the complimentary chips and salsa, or take it off your menu. FALSE ADVERTISING is bad business.

I had an interesting first time visit at Puesto Anaheim... my party and I arrived at around 9pm and the restaurant closed at 10. When we asked to put our names on the list they said it could be up to a 40 minute wait, since the restaurant was almost closing we asked if it would be an issue for us to be sat so late or if we'd be rushed to place our orders. If this were the case, we planned to dine elsewhere to avoid inconveniencing the staff. The host kindly said "No theres no issue at all, as long as you're seated before 10, which you likely will be, there's no problem at all and you can take your time to order" so we decided to put our names down and wait. We eventually got seated and our waiter came to our table and after saying hello he follows with "Just a heads up we do close kitchen in about 8 minutes so I suggest you order now". We were not happy about this because we had hoped to avoid that exact sort of scenario which is why we asked the question to begin with. For the rest of the night, he didn't check on us much at all. Took away plates without asking if we were done, and was not attentive. We got no refills and to be quite frank he gave us attitude anytime we flagged him down to ask for something. As someone who works in food service, I understand being tired & wanting to go home, however, it's never okay to make paying customers feel unwelcome. I will spare our waiters name but it's a shame given that the food was delicious & the restaurant was beautiful inside. We will likely not visit again.

Came with a friend for Dine in OC and was brutally reminded why I don't dine in Anaheim. We had reservations. After waiting around 20 to 25 minutes, we ended up taking two seats at the bar which is first come, first serve. I was able to count at least 9 tables that were empty and not set or ready for service. The wait time plus the failure to have our reserved table ready for us indicates they are either incredibly inefficient or severely understaffed. This is stressful when parking costs $25 per hour after two hours. I don't usually comment on plating, but their Dine in OC meal presentation leaves much to be desired. The entire meal was served on a small metal cafeteria tray. The chips in a paper carton a la McDonald's, making us look and feel out of place compared to everyone else's non-Dine-in-OC's ceramic serveware. PUESTO PERFECT MARGARITA: 3/5. Definitely on the sweet side, which is not really my thing, but my friend loved. Salt was on the entire side of the glass and not just the rim, which felt messy to me. PUESTO GUAC + CHIPS: 3/5. The funky chunks of parm in the guac were interesting. I had to ration the guac, which is never fun. FILET MIGNON TACO: 4/5. The texture was definitely not giving filet mignon, but it was seasoned well. BAJA FISH TACO: 4/5. A little soggy from the first bite, but again, very flavorful.

My friends and I had a great experience at Puesto. Our server was super nice and helpful. The drinks were great, not too sweet, and the perfect strength. To eat we had a few tacos, guac, enchiladas, and ceviche. Everything was good its just a little pricey for the portion sizes. With that being said, I still think it is a great spot for girls night!

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!

We ordered the ribeye, baked potato, mac and cheese and the bbq brisket pizza. Our meal was fairly priced and a pretty good value. I will say that parking can be tricky. After circling around for a while, we scored parking right in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk. Carve out extra time for parking.

The tacos were surprisingly good! I really didn't know what to expect but they were great. My drink was also good. It wasn't too sweet or overly fruity but had that refreshing lime flavor. The best thing about this place is the prices! Prices are absolutely reasonable and the food and drinks were solid. It's not easy to find a good restaurant with good food and decent prices these days and Broken Spirits absolutely delivered. Our server was also friendly and a lot of fun.

We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening and we were bummed that it was packed full inside. We decided to go have a drink upstairs, and then come back down later to see if it was any less busy. There must have been one big group who left because 30 minutes later, it was completely empty inside. There are a few wood tables outside of the entrance and several two seat tables along the outside of the side of the train, but for a first visit we definitely wanted to be inside. When you come inside at BXCR, there are two long green couches along each side that wrap around to the entrance to maximize available space. There are two steamer trunks on each side that serve as tables. We were surprised that all of the tables had a Yahtzee game on them, and we had a blast playing that while we enjoyed our drinks. If you happen to roll a Yahtzee, they give you a candle as a prize. There is good background music playing that fits the environment. There is some good décor with overhead baggage racks and international clocks on one wall, and gauges on the wall next to the bar. There are some small rectangular windows along the top of both sides, and some curtained windows on the right side which do let a little light in. When the main entrance door is opened before its dark outside, it does let quite a bit of light in and kills the ambience temporarily. I would recommend coming closer to or after sunset to not let any outside sunlight interfere with your experience. The drinks are made at the bar in the rear where there are several seats and a little standing room. It wasn't on the current menu, but I saw on a previous menu they had an Amaretto Sour so I started with that, and it did not disappoint. It was nice and frothy from an egg white and had Angostura bitters on top. My girlfriend started with the Calm Cruise which was great. It's basically a Pina Colada, but with an additional honeydew flavor in the background. For number two, I tried the C-League cocktail. The smokiness of Mezcal has grown on me lately if it is not the primary flavor, and in this drink it is at a nice level somewhere in the middle. The cucumber and cilantro are definitely present, along with a little heat from the ancho verde and a little sweetness from the Luxardo maraschino. This is a excellent easy-drinking tequila cocktail. Her number two was the Aviation which she enjoyed. Vince was our main bartender along with Sarah. They were very friendly and fun to chit-chat with while they were mixing up our drinks. This is definitely a cool place to check out, and we will definitely return.

David recommended the Raven's Wing, and the presentation and smokey flavor did NOT disappoint. The charcuterie pizza was delicious and large enough to satisfy the appetite of two people with leftovers. I also tried the Benevolent Fairy drink which comes in three seperate potion glasses and was so much fun. While it was a great drink, I preferred the Raven's Wing! Server David was very kind and very attentive, checking on us regularly to ensure a great experience. On our last day, we stopped in on our way to the airport so we had our luggage. We were immediately seated, and greeted by a server named Gloria. When she saw our bags, she thought we were just arriving, and gave a very detailed rundown of the cocktails and food. (The Anaheim packing district has private parking and it's easy to find a spot during the week. On the weekend, it's another story) You basically run right into the hammer bar when you enter from the main entrance. It's nothing fancy, gives off hipster vibes and is cool without trying to be cool. The two bartenders Josh and Xavier were amazing I came here around prime lunch time. I went and asked one of the bartenders, since they do not serve food if it was ok to bring some pastries inside and eat them with my drink. (There's a pastry place right next to the hammer bar) They said since it was a weekday and not busy I could bring something in. So I went and grabbed some food and sat there while drinking my drinks. They have bar seating and then they have hightop tables as well I asked them for some recommendations. Josh and Xavier both recommended The zombie (kept warning me that it was extremely strong. So I stayed away from that. Even though I'm confident I could handle it) The banana clip The pool noodle (I told them I needed it to be pretty / cool looking too, lol) I went with the pool noodle -Plantaray Pineapple Rum, Rhum J.M. Agricole, guava, apricot, lime and cava. AND, let me tell you, this was delicious AND looked amazing 10/10 Then I went with the banana clip- Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon, banana, mandarine, cinnamon, pineapple and lemon. 10/10, I loved it To be honest all the drinks sounded great. If I wasn't planning on going to other places and walking around the packing district, I would have just stayed at this bar and had a few more lol. Prices were extremely reasonable as well The service that Josh and Xavier provided was phenomenal 10/10. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all the questions I had They also have mocktails, beer and wine. I highly recommend coming here for a drink if you are coming to the Anaheim Packing district. Or stay here for a while. I could have definitely stayed longer and tried more. I'll definitely be back next time I am in the area (On the menu it says they offer gift cards. So it would be perfect for any friends that live by this place and appreciate a cool bar)

Unfortunately, the inside of the Tiki Bar was closed for repairs/upgrades, but we ate on their very pleasant outdoor patio, and luckily, the weather was lovely. I'm not that into Hawaiian type food, no offense to Hawaiians whatsoever, so I found the menu to be a bit limiting. Since I just had a poke bowl the prior night, I didn't want another, even though it was probably what I would've ordered. Most other dishes were with pork, which I don't eat. Instead, I ordered chicken tenders, which is so NOT what I would EVER order, but I did on this day. The chicken was not overly greasy, and it had good flavor. The fries were even better. The poke bowl looked gorgeous, and the 3 others who got that said it was delicious, although not nearly as much salmon as they were hoping for... and it had way too much rice. (Those of us who had poke bowls from the previous night had loads of ahi tuna and the perfect amount of rice.) My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger, something I'd never get. Not a fan of bacon AT ALL. My grandchildren got the chicken tenders like their grandma. :-) We ate our food to being serenaded with live music on the patio. Nice touch. I think most people come here to drink cocktails, although we didn't since we were about to make a long trek home up the I-5. I probably won't eat here again when/if we stay at this hotel, but it served its purpose when we needed it.
