Beautiful rooftop restaurant at The Westin Hotel. Cocktails and food were delicious and service outstanding. Great view of Disneyland across the street. recommend!

What is there not to like about this place? Rooftop restaurant on top of the Westin Hotel in Anaheim overlooking the city and of course Disneyland. Spacious and beautiful layout for bite size food and drinks to enjoy with friends n family. We ordered two different pizzas, truffle fries, pork bites, and two churros à la mode for dessert. Did I mention everyone had their choice of drink as well? Everything was delicious and the view was just fabulous! Great friendly customer service all around! Highly recommend. I believe 2 hours of parking can be validated for eating here. Will return again...would love to catch the fireworks one day while eating!

Rise Rooftop has amazing vibes every time I come here. Not only is the staff incredibly nice and make for a good experience, every dish I've had here is immaculate. I originally visited Rise because of their yearly New Year's Eve event, which I have been going to for the past three years. Since then I have had the opportunity to come for both their brunch and dinner. I tried a variety of dishes and drinks at dinner and they were all absolutely delicious! ALSO, views are great. You can see a lot of California Adventure and if you're there at the right hour you can see Disneyland's fireworks show.

Solid choice for a conference event to have a break from the indoors. The food was average. The drinks were better. Appreciate the live DJ and the lighting. Service was standard.

Something always changes when we visit Rise, some good some not so good! This is our 4th year of hosting a Christmas get together for friends and family, so we usually reach out about 2 months ahead to make a reservation. This last time I didn't hear back from anyone for a couple of weeks, I emailed two more times, and finally got a response and secured our date/time. I did request a table near the DJ, and we did get a great location. BUT, now when they have a private party, they rope off the lounge area near the DJ. They didn't do this before, so in the past, we were allowed (and others) to dance near the DJ and get close to see fireworks. There weren't any fireworks the night we went, so nothing lost there! Parking is validated for only 2 hours. We had our same server from last year, she's so great!! Always checked on us, made sure we had drinks, food, etc. The hostess girls at the check-in were also great, very nice and talkative. They didn't let us sit until we had half of our party there. The food - always excellent. We usually get the pizzas, sushi, charcuterie board, sashimi, fries, etc. Drinks - strong and tasty but the cost did go up. Our bill was a couple hundred more than usual, even with 2 of our party not drinking that night. DJ music was so fun, played a mix of decades and different type of music. We were seated at a high top table, and so the heaters were too close to our faces, when we tried to light them it was so bright and so we just did without them. Best rooftop bar among the surrounding hotels.

Needing a new rooftop that's nearby and great views of Disneyland fireworks? This is your spot I actually like this rooftop more than the other surrounding rooftops. It just more spacious and has a certain vibe. Maybe it's the umbrellas and fireplaces. Great for large groups and in the summer time for an outting. Enjoyed the wings and fun drinks they had. They also validated parking just bring your ticket. Also the parking is super easy to find spacious. Love it here in the summer time

Rise rooftop is located in the Westin. Be sure to take your parking ticket as they validate up to two hours and then $20 per additional hour. Rise has dreamy views of Anaheim especially the Disneyland area. Prime spot to catch the Disney fireworks at night. I have been here twice for dinner and brunch and both were on point. However, my brunch experience today was top tier. My server Jacky was so kind and had great recommendations. My friend was running a bit behind but Jacky understood the vibes and had the cocktails flowing while I waited. The raspberry spritz $18 was absolutely refreshing and so tasty. I also did the mimosa cart where you can order individual mimosas or a bottle. I did the bottle of JCB for $48. Ulysses was serving from the cart and made great conversation. Once my friend arrived we ordered food. I got grandmas bacon waffle $26 and my girlfriend got the smoked steelhead hash $26. I loved the bacon and the eggs on the waffle but there was a strong citrus taste on the waffle I wasn't crazy about. Otherwise delicious. My friend's dish was large and she enjoyed hers as well. Overall, a great spot for brunch just keep in mind brunch hours are 10:30-2:30pm on the weekends. Cheers!

Found this place by accident, it's a roof top open element bar. In the evening, there's a spectacular view almost 360. It can get cold but their heatimg lamps will keep you warm. Reservations are required but we manage to walk-in and got a nice table for 4. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. We had a 4-piece Tacos plate, Ahi Poke Nachos, chicken wings, Avocado and crab salad. A light dessert, Churros which was a perfect way to end the meal. To sum up everything, all items were terrific, flavorful, and fresh. It was a nice refreshing experience and I would surely return on my next visit.

I came here with some girlfriends on a Saturday night. The vibe and energy was just as expected. Elegant, sophisticated and fun. They sat us right away- we had a reservation in place. The drinks, the live dj and the dancing were all perfect. We ordered a couple of dishes but the only reason why I gave it a 4/5 was because the duck carnitas tacos were not all that great. Might be my palate but the tortilla was not warm, hard not flexible soft and the mix for some reason although it sounds good it wasn't to my linking. Regardless we had a great night and our service was great.

I forgot to add that the front hosts were awesome. There were a few more than some People that were rude and wanted to sit immediately and felt they should be given special treatment and the gals from 8:30-9:10pm did exceptionally well handling all of the inflow of patrons. The wait was not long at all. Had these folks been patient, they would have waited 15 min or less. Thank you for all you do. And sorry for peoples entitled attitude that you have to put up with , probably almost daily.

Want a SPECTACULAR view of Disneyland fireworks over California Adventure to accompany your special occasion weekend evening?! Hit up this rooftop!!! Vibe is LIT, thanks to the DJ! Throwback bangers & top hit music, even played firework theme songs (yes, Katy Perry!). He hyped us up with shoutouts to birthdays and brought the energy - crowds came up to dance and do the cha cha slide. Service, on the other hand, was the opposite. Server took our order, then vanished until kitchen last call. No water refills, no check-ins... took awhile to find him for the check...a bit MIA. Another downside is that although we sat with the California Adventure view... we were RIGHT in front of speakers. SO LOUD... half our party wore ear plugs and it was hard to have a conversation... but easy to dance! :) Silver lining? The food was surprisingly AMAZING. Usually people say rooftops are good view, bad food... except this place! Compliments to the ahi poke nachos and duck carnitas tacos with flavor dimensions! Loved the crispy chips to hold the ahi, seaweed, and sauce, and the nice bite into juicy taco. All paired well with my fun Tropical specialty cocktail mmmm and love those microgreens~

I made a reservation which I recommended because it was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. We were greeted and sat on a great table with a view of Disney. It's located across the street from Disney's California Adventure at the Westin's rooftop. It's a beautiful lounge setup and a great spot for shareables and drinks. There are couches, tabletops, and bar seating. Our server Q was outstanding. He was very welcoming, patient and informative. I appreciated how he answered our menu questions and he had some great recommendations. I started with a Passion Fruit martini but I didn't expect it to be too sour/citrus for my liking. I then asked for the, New Age and I loved it. So smooth. Poke Nachos are a must. So fresh. I would not recommend the chicken wings. Tasted like boiled wings. Get the banana Foster Tres Leche Cake and Churros with ice cream. So good! A highlight was watching the fireworks from our seat. Most people got up to take photos and watch the show. Fireworks started at 9:35 pm. They have heat lamps which was nice to balance the temp. I highly recommend! We had a great experience at Rise.

As I went alone, my reservation was for a bar seat, which was cool as I was able to watch the bartenders make lots of very cool shaken and stirred drinks. This place serves absinthe drinks plus absinthe served the traditional way (cold water on sugar cube into the alcohol). I did not try that, but was tempted. My pineapple old fashioned (Retired Old Man was what Sergio (bartender) told me) was very tasty. The Tamerand Marg with mezcal that I tried next was just okay (should have stuck with the whiskey!). The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!

We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening and we were bummed that it was packed full inside. We decided to go have a drink upstairs, and then come back down later to see if it was any less busy. There must have been one big group who left because 30 minutes later, it was completely empty inside. There are a few wood tables outside of the entrance and several two seat tables along the outside of the side of the train, but for a first visit we definitely wanted to be inside. When you come inside at BXCR, there are two long green couches along each side that wrap around to the entrance to maximize available space. There are two steamer trunks on each side that serve as tables. We were surprised that all of the tables had a Yahtzee game on them, and we had a blast playing that while we enjoyed our drinks. If you happen to roll a Yahtzee, they give you a candle as a prize. There is good background music playing that fits the environment. There is some good décor with overhead baggage racks and international clocks on one wall, and gauges on the wall next to the bar. There are some small rectangular windows along the top of both sides, and some curtained windows on the right side which do let a little light in. When the main entrance door is opened before its dark outside, it does let quite a bit of light in and kills the ambience temporarily. I would recommend coming closer to or after sunset to not let any outside sunlight interfere with your experience. The drinks are made at the bar in the rear where there are several seats and a little standing room. It wasn't on the current menu, but I saw on a previous menu they had an Amaretto Sour so I started with that, and it did not disappoint. It was nice and frothy from an egg white and had Angostura bitters on top. My girlfriend started with the Calm Cruise which was great. It's basically a Pina Colada, but with an additional honeydew flavor in the background. For number two, I tried the C-League cocktail. The smokiness of Mezcal has grown on me lately if it is not the primary flavor, and in this drink it is at a nice level somewhere in the middle. The cucumber and cilantro are definitely present, along with a little heat from the ancho verde and a little sweetness from the Luxardo maraschino. This is a excellent easy-drinking tequila cocktail. Her number two was the Aviation which she enjoyed. Vince was our main bartender along with Sarah. They were very friendly and fun to chit-chat with while they were mixing up our drinks. This is definitely a cool place to check out, and we will definitely return.

This is a lovely Sleeping Beauty forrested theme lounge, and while it is small, we had no issue in waiting for a table both times we visited this Lounge. We went to the Broken Spell on our day of arrival, and David was an excellent server! I already knew I was going to order the charcuterie pizza, and asked David for a recommendation on cocktails. David recommended the Raven's Wing, and the presentation and smokey flavor did NOT disappoint. The charcuterie pizza was delicious and large enough to satisfy the appetite of two people with leftovers. I also tried the Benevolent Fairy drink which comes in three seperate potion glasses and was so much fun. While it was a great drink, I preferred the Raven's Wing! Server David was very kind and very attentive, checking on us regularly to ensure a great experience. On our last day, we stopped in on our way to the airport so we had our luggage. We were immediately seated, and greeted by a server named Gloria. When she saw our bags, she thought we were just arriving, and gave a very detailed rundown of the cocktails and food. We were only there for one last round of the Raven's Wing cocktail, and were promptly served given our time constraints. I look forward to returning to The Broken Spell Lounge!

I had to take half to go. One son liked his fish 'n chips. The other super picky kid liked his chicken sandwich. The ambiance is nice. Cozy velour couches in pretty jewel tones and low lighting. I do wish they had some higher tables available for diners, but that's quibbling. It should be way more busy than it is. Good food that veers from the usual amusement park offerings is harder to find in the California parks than the Florida parks.

Unfortunately, the inside of the Tiki Bar was closed for repairs/upgrades, but we ate on their very pleasant outdoor patio, and luckily, the weather was lovely. I'm not that into Hawaiian type food, no offense to Hawaiians whatsoever, so I found the menu to be a bit limiting. Since I just had a poke bowl the prior night, I didn't want another, even though it was probably what I would've ordered. Most other dishes were with pork, which I don't eat. Instead, I ordered chicken tenders, which is so NOT what I would EVER order, but I did on this day. The chicken was not overly greasy, and it had good flavor. The fries were even better. The poke bowl looked gorgeous, and the 3 others who got that said it was delicious, although not nearly as much salmon as they were hoping for... and it had way too much rice. (Those of us who had poke bowls from the previous night had loads of ahi tuna and the perfect amount of rice.) My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger, something I'd never get. Not a fan of bacon AT ALL. My grandchildren got the chicken tenders like their grandma. :-) We ate our food to being serenaded with live music on the patio. Nice touch. I think most people come here to drink cocktails, although we didn't since we were about to make a long trek home up the I-5. I probably won't eat here again when/if we stay at this hotel, but it served its purpose when we needed it.
