Our waiter Sam was very attentive and made sure all of our mixers were adequately filled and made sure we made no drinks ourselves. I've been to Mesa twice now in the past few weeks and I love it! I've arrived later in the evening and it's a fun time. I did not order any food, however, I did order drinks and I thoroughly enjoyed the lychee martini. I didn't talk to the bartenders much, but security and everyone working was nice. They did check IDs and check our bags when we went inside. It was more like a club by the time we entered, but I've heard that earlier on it's a different ambiance. I personally love the club vibes and it's a fun place to go dancing with the girls. I think I prefer it over the club because it's not as crazy. I would definitely go again. read more

I have been coming to Mesa since 2018. Mesa has been my go-to spot for drinks and dancing for 8 years. It's always a great time. Recently, I have noticed that they don't make the lychee martinis the same as before and it gets super hot in there. The bathrooms used to be cleaner as well. Wanted a GNO with my aunt and cousin to celebrate a retirement and a birthday, so we made a 7pm reservation, and were sat immediately upon arriving. We were informed that we would have 90 minutes at our booth and then we could relocate to the bar if we wanted to stay. The booths turn into bottle service tables when the place turns into a club. Since we were ordering food and drinks throughout our time there, the super friendly staff informed us that we could stay in our booth the entire night if we wanted to. Btw, shout out to Lauren, Bree and Becky for exceptional service. The drinks were strong and tasty. The food was pretty good. I'd come back for the calamari, brussels, margherita flatbread and bread pudding. My aunt surprised my cousin by ordering the lit up birthday sign and sparklers when the birthday bread pudding was brought out. Fun! It was a Saturday night that 4 of us stopped by for a drink after having dinner nearby. Place was not as packed around 9:30 but it got more crowded as the night went on. For starters, we opened up with their charcuterie, fried olives, and hand cut fries. All were absolutely delicious! A little more information as to the charcuterie and cheeseboard ingredients would have been nice. The fried olives were extremely tasty as well. For the main courses, we had a variety for our table, with my wife ordering a pizza margarita. I ordered their poblano chicken with fingerling potatoes, and our friends ordered a Caesar salad and the braised short ribs. All the dishes were incredibly delicious and well presented! I've been here about four times over the past 10 years, and honestly, it seems to get worse every time. What really did it for me this last visit was my friend getting pickpocketed and having her phone stolen. I know theft isn't entirely the club's fault, but the lack of concern from staff was disappointing. We even heard that someone else had their phone stolen the same night, which makes it feel like an ongoing issue rather than a one-off incident. They clearly need more staff and better monitoring. As for the venue itself, the drinks have always been pretty underwhelming, the music is very hit-or-miss, and the staff experience depends on who you get--some are friendly, others not so much. The space is tiny, whether you want to call it a lounge or a club, and there's barely any room to dance. The crowd can be aggressive and overcrowded, which only adds to the discomfort. Bottle service is especially not worth the money given how cramped it is and how little space you actually get. However, The employees should be trained not to frown at customers when they are called to provide service. Whatever your title in the restaurant, you should be ready to serve. Particularly the hostesses, and the bus boys were giving us attitude and a weird look when we asked for spoons or other items while they were talking and dancing at the hostess atand. Also, I was being patient to get out check and when I called over the bus boys they gave our table a mean look. Overall, plenty of space to mingle with others if you were not seated for dinner. You could also get drinks at the bar and the drinks from the specials were delicious and reasonably priced. Matcha and alcohol should not mix but somehow it was tasty. As for service, as soon as we came in we experienced friendly hostesses and even the bartender. I am suprised by another review here for the same night, saying they felt rushed and could not stay to mingle or dance. It definitely did not have the space for dancing, but walking around was fine and we never felt rushed to leave. I've been here 10 years ago and had a great time then. Decided to do our girls dinner here this past Friday night and had a fabulous time. I made reservations online and arrived right at 8pm. Hostess were friendly and very helpful. My 2 friends were late and I was still able y get seated right away, love that about Mesa. The restaurant is still just as trendy and beautiful as I remembered. Our waitress was lovely, attentive and friendly. Our dinners were delicious except my salmon was a bit too salty for me. The lychee martinis were AMAZING just as I remembered. Enjoyable night out with my girlfriends, still highly recommend if you haven't been. They have valet for $20 or public parking available. I came for a social event from an app. The crowd size was okay on a Friday around 6 pm and picked up steam by the time it was 9 pm. I enjoyed the complimentary drink I received at the front door (as part of the social event). The concierge (attendant at the front) was hospitable. The ambiance is nice and you can possibly see the stars (look up). Washroom is one area (unisex). Red light above door is occupied. Green light is available. Recommendation: Bar employees should constantly look around in case someone needs water or to order something. Note for customers: The business is officially a bar but will become a mini-night club around 10:30 pm. You will know with all the female employees coming out with a sign and the bright sparkles from bottles. Also, the DJ randomly appeared like a genie. Security will start showing up outside and inside the business. Metal detector outside is a thing, possibly due to past incidents with CCW (concealed carry weapon). General rule, don't do anything stupid (drunk or not) because you don't know people's background (firearm or hand to hand combat training). Other than that, have fun and keep friends safe! read more

At this point me and my friends have been waiting for awhile to order drinks and he's walked pass us at least 3 times not being busy helping others. Avoid at all costs. Mesa has a theft issue and I personally would never come back. I was pickpocketed last Friday and, despite telling them, I was met with complete indifference. The security and the "manager" up front were undeniably rude and unhelpful. They wouldn't help me look for it or even acknowledge the situation. Once it closed, he said he "couldn't help even if I attempted to call," even though that would have confirmed whether it was dropped or stolen. After I gave up, my friend offered her phone as a contact number and he declined it. We were both dealt with so aggressively, and it confused us, because how were you going to update us if it was found? To top it off, the security guards were talking amongst each other saying "idk how we deal with this." I wasn't rude or disrespectful, just concerned and wanting help with my phone. Busy lot shared by The Camp which is a small mall. Valet service was $20 but he was so nice and parked my car right out front. Said I can leave my car overnight if I got too tipsy. That was a nice touch, I thought. Headed inside and I was given a glass of champagne to sip on while I found my friends. The venue is SO NICE. The interior design was well thought out. Decors, vibes, and staff, set the mood for a great night. The drinks are about $16-$27 each. We tried lychee martini, different margaritas: cucumber, spicy, illegal mezcal. All were deliciously creeping up on us. Ordered a bunch of appetizers: pizzas, calamari, meatballs, Mediterranean board, sliders, fries. Everything was good. My favorite were the sliders! Get the sliders. After about 2 hours, the place turned into a club/lounge and lots of groups ordered bottled service which was brought out by the girls. DJ played good music, mainly hip hop and R&B. The place gets crowded but it's heavily managed by security to keep walkways clear which is good so people aren't just crowding around. Dance floor is nonexistent except a small area by the DJ booth.
