Love coming here for any excuse! It's perfect for a romantic dinner, love their romantic vibe of dim light with candles and they usually welcome you wit a small Sample of rose! If it's your anniversary they do a little cute message in the table for you with Fake rose petals! Make it's more special night! My favorite dish!! Rum pepper shrimp , it's just perfect! Their cocktails were on the sweeter side for me, but all depends on how you like your cocktails! They always have the best fast service and easy to book a reservation online! Parking could be a little bit complicated since they don't have valet!

So good! Called in for reservations to celebrate a graduation and they did so good with accommodations and the decorations. Our server was so lively and attentive, it made the whole experience great. We ordered various dishes and all of them tasted amazing! Definitely coming back

I mean who doesn't love Habana?? This is by far one of the most romantic restaurants in Costa Mesa and located in such a unique outdoor mall (worth walking around afterwards). The lighting and vibes can't be beat and neither can the food for that matter. While it may be a little pricey, worth the splurge. I always recommend the mojitos with sugar cane stirring sticks as well as the empanadas. The service is excellent! I can't wait to come back.

I came here for my birthday and the host and 3 other ladies were so welcoming and nice! The place is absolutely beautiful and picture worthy !

I love Habana! The ambiance is nice and mellow and their service is always friendly and quick. Their drinks are great, I've tried a few and all are delicious. Don't get me started on the food, i absolutely love their steak plate. Must try the strawberries and crème dessert!!!!!

Highly recommend!! Tasty drinks, moderately priced. The food is great, and the staff is very attentive. Great patio vibe with delightful background music. The food was just perfect! My friend ordered El Churrasco. She loved it! I had The New York Steak, it was cooked to perfection (medium rare)! For starters, the Gambas al Ajillo are highly recommended. Pro tip, save the juice for the entire meal and use it on your rice!!! Delicious lol. Now the good part, have a few drinks, we had a Passion de Cuba, very balanced, not too sweet and The Bullfighter, with Ilegal Mezcal! Both good choices, but then we opted for our favorite....yep, vodka soda lol

We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Parking is always tricky in the small lot for this complex, but after circling around someone left. We had a reservation for 6 people at 3PM so there was no wait. Our server was very friendly throughout the whole meal, and we were seated on the patio which had a very cool vibe, as if we were really in Havana/Havana. The menu is actually not that big, and prices were definitely on the pricier side. I ended up ordering a paella for 1 with a side of tostones. Fortunately, the paella portion was generous. I also enjoyed a tasty non-alcoholic piña colada. For dessert, I had their flan. The food was all very tasty and again the service and atmosphere were fantastic. Just be aware and prepared to spend a little more when dining here.

This has become mine and my husband's favorite spot. Worth every penny! The ambiance is beautiful, the staff are always so attentive and polite and the food is out of this world! The Rum Pepper Shrimp! I can lick the plate clean. Phenomenal! Bookmark this spot for your next date night, you won't regret it!

Almost a 5 star! Maybe a 4.8! Service was great! Food was delicious, atmosphere was on point! Honestly, I have nothing to complain about! We ordered the Roasted Chicken, Empanadas, Plantain Crusted Chicken, La Paella, Filet Mignon, and Cucumber Mojito. Lots of flavor in every bite! If you like Cuban inspired food and good quality cuisine, this is your place to go! We will definitely be going back!

The food, ambience, and service here was amazing! We were given a complimentary little glass of rose upon entering and ordered delicious cocktails. We got the paella and mofongo for dinner and it was so fresh and flavorful. Great experience!

My party and I came here for Sunday brunch. (Parking was fine till around 1130am - there were plenty of open spots. Thennnn it started getting crazy and you had to wait for someone else to leave.) Staff was fantastic but shoutout to our server Marlene and the manager Gina (I may be wrong, I'm sorry!). They were such a vibe and so generous and funny. Our experience with the food was already incredible (literally everything tasted amazing - go get the rum pepper shrimp!), but they (and bartender assumedly ;)) made this an unforgettable birthday! 1000% coming back, even with the horrible parking!

I would definitely recommend grabbing a drink with friends here. The La Leyenda was delicious, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink for anyone who loves sweeter cocktails. The atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back.

The food was as good as it looked on IG We went for lunch and there was minimal wait times when they open for lunch at 11am. We made some stops and i consistently checked the wait times online. Within 1/2 hour of when they opened, I noticed the wait times online were starting to get longer. I put my name on the waitlist and it was about 10-20 minutes and got there in perfect time to get seated right away. They are in the side of the mall that has Crate and Barrel and Anthropologie. They have regular seating in the restaurant, outdoor seating and another section outside of the restaurant which is within the mall. We were sat at the outside seating in the mall which has a small bar area as well. We ordered the spicy (wasn't spicy IMO but had a little kick to it) shrimp won tons, CHIFA fried rice with chicken and the Saltado with Filet Mignon (sub rice for garlic noodles for a small fee). Everything was delicious and good portion size. So many other items I would like to try. Can't wait to go back!

Scallops: 9/10. Probably one of my favorite dishes here. The presentation was stunning and it was delicious. The scallops were good quality but a bit small. Garlic noodles with crispy salmon: 8/10. Good flavor for the garlic noodles. Crispy salmon was excellent. Noodles with wontons: 7.5/10. Also pretty good but small portion Lomo saltado: 7/10. I like Lomo saltado in general. It's a bit oily but I prefer it over the carne asada fries. That sauce is insane, but I don't think the dish would've been nearly as good without it. Carne asada fries: 6.5/10. Good but not as good as Lomo saltado. Some people preferred this though. Corn ribs: 9/10. One of the best dishes, to my surprise. Great presentation and great taste Pistachio dessert: 7/10. Seasonal and I don't remember the name but it was pretty good! Glad we ordered two for the table. Mocktail: 6/10. Sounded good but nothing standout. Overall, good but a bit expensive. The price wasn't very justified for the portions. Being separate from the rest of the restaurant was a bit weird. Our server was great though.

I had made a reservation online for 6 people at 12:30pm and my reservation was accepted. When we got to the museum, we were told the restaurant was closing at 12:30pm and I felt very upset. Why was the reservation accepted then? When I got to Verdant, there was no one in sight. The restaurant was empty and there was 1 other party, but no staff. I actually ended up making my way near the kitchen, and that's where I found Christian, who appeared really busy. He explained that they had a wedding later that day and had to close at 1pm for set up. He still sat our party and was very kind, accommodating and helpful. He gave me a great tip and said when making cafe reservations, it's best to call ahead, because they do sometimes have event buy outs. As far as the ambiance, it is a really beautiful space. But, it was SO cold. It seemed like the AC was on full blast. The food was pretty good, but the menu seemed to change since I was there last.

I also had the white crab white omelette with spinach and substituted the fruit for hash browns. The omelette was light and fluffy, and the crab added a subtle sweetness. The hash browns were crispy and satisfying. Cappuccinos were great, rich, smooth, and perfectly foamy. Just note they are nine dollars each, which feels a little steep, but they were well made.
