If you are looking for great affordable food near the park this is my go to spot EVERY SINGLE TIME since they have opened. Not sure why it took me so long to write a review but I want to make sure this place gets the love it rightly deserves. Finneys is a bar/pub and it's everything you would want in a bar. Great selection of local alcohol (I love the blood orange hef) and great food that tastes like it was made with quality ingredients. Everything I have tried so far has been fantastic and thats the hardest part is deciding what to get because it's all so delicious. I am confident that no matter what you order you will not be disappointed. Their happy hour is from 3-5pm and I tell the Mrs "It's happy hour at finney's we gotta go!" Best thing is you get extremely delicious food at a fraction of what the park offers. I wish I had a finneys near where I live I'd be a regular got sure. It can get packed at times especially in the evening when everyone is leaving the park. This place is also family friendly. Dont be scared of the bar/pub vibe,plenty of tables for groups/families. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. They are so friendly and welcoming whether you are at a table or chatting it up with the bartender. Overall I would describe this as mediocre at best from service to food. The vibe is pretty robust and it's hard to have a conversation across the table. Service was lacking and our waiter wasn't very attentive. Now let's move to the food. We decided to share several starters as they looked appealing on the menu. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, onion rings tower, poke nachos, and chicken and waffles. Was not impressed with any of them. The Brussels sprouts had frozen figs in them that were charred and too hard to eat. The Brussel sprouts were fine but had little flavor. The onion ring tower was okay but nothing special about them. The chicken and waffles you could tell the waffles were deep fried from a frozen state and the maple sriracha glaze was flavorless. The chicken was overcooked and tough to eat. The poke nachos were fishy and they shouldn't be. We couldn't eat them. The cups we were served had lipstick stains in them still. And the margaritas we ordered lacked a lot of flavor. We would have let our waiter know but he didn't come around. While this is in close proximity to the Disney resort and convenient to most hotels you can find better food at other places for the same price point. This was incredibly disappointing. Finney's is one of those restaurants that I have heard nothing but good things about. My friends, family and coworkers had all been except for me so I was excited to be able to come eat here today. On a Sunday evening, the place was not too busy. I feel like everytime I drive by here on my way to work, I see a lot of people inside, usually crowds on their way to Disney or coming out of Disney. Either way, I was happy with the fact that they seated us right away. Though I'm not a big fan of beer, I have heard great things about the food here. Even though they can fit all of the items in one page of the menu, there is an incredible amount of variety and things to choose from. We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls, I had a Tri tip sandwich, my brothers had the finney burger and the wagyu burger and my BIL had the bbq chicken pizza and loaded tots. It was all really good but the Tri tip sandwich and the cheesesteak egg rolls were the best, at least in my opinion. I didn't get to try much else but they had really good things to say about wha they ordered too. Our server was also very attentive and patient with us. He was super chill. We came in Wednesday around 3pm before going to Disneyland. We wanted a place to get some good beer and saw that the reviews were good. It was also happy hour so that was a plus. The service was great, our server was so sweet and attentive . We were happy with our service from her. But with that being said I wasn't crazy about the food. We got chicken nachos on happy hour , we subbed for chicken instead of carnitas. The nachos were just pretty bland not a lot of flavor in my opinion. The cheese was a little hard and clumped together not spread all over the chips too much. We also got the bone in buffalo wings and they were decent , I wish they had a bit more spice! Stopped by for lunch on Thursday and had a good experience here with my group of co-workers. This new location for the chain replaced the former Coco's restaurant which closed down years ago. They have revamped the space and it's a lot more open and inviting now. They have a good selection of alcohol to choose from along with a great happy hour and a food menu consisting of appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, wings, and pizza. I went for their bison burger which is one of their signature items with fries and it was delicious. The bison meat was flavorful and not dry and it paired well with the bacon jam, cherry peppers, and smoked gouda. Service was friendly and decently quick. I did want to mention that 2 of my colleagues both ordered the jalapeno egg burger and they both didn't come with the jalapenos when they first came from the kitchen. We had to tell our waiter and they eventually brought them out which was kind of surprising to see. My favorite casual restaurant that I originally encountered in old town Orange is expanding! I was by myself so I opted to sit at the bar this time which was the right move. The bartender was super nice and quick to take my drink order then follow up with my food order. What I love most about Finney's is they offer good food and drinks for a reasonable price these days. This is an amazing spot. We have also been to the SLO location and confirm it's just a great all around organization. The Anaheim location is crazy because it's literally right across Katella from the park, but has completely normal pricing. And the happy hour is incredibly affordable. We went a couple of times, and had great service and great food both times. Wide selection of beer / wine, and every single dish on the table hit. While in town for a conference, I wandered down to Finney's with a group of coworkers after a long day of travel. Candidly, I hadn't scoped out the menu or much about the place in advance - I was just hoping for a solid meal before sleeping off a 20 hour travel day and time change. I've been eager to try Finney's, a new pub house, close to home. I tried one of their specialty cocktails (see photo) with a pepperoni pizza for happy hour. The drink was fabulous, made with fresh raspberries. The pizza was crispy and thin with just the right amount of cheese and covered with greasy pepperonis. It was pretty good. I ate half of it and had a second drink. The craft house shares a parking lot with a hotel and is fenced in. Now I'm slow to take in information so it was perfectly unclear how to park. There are three entrances, but only two working. I felt like I had accomplished something just parking. Two hours gratis with validation. I was there close to 3. It must've the change of shift. Nobody was at the front desk to direct me where to sit. After waiting a bit, with nobody making eye contact, I walked in, and asked a passing waitress if I could seat myself. She was gracious and assured me there is usually someone up front. The place was happening, even though there were many open tables. The game was on on several TV sets. If you're looking for a fairly quiet calm place to eat and relax this isn't it. We came here after a long day at the Disney parks. Not long after we sat down and got our teas, I had to leave. This place is Very loud!!! I was starting to get a headache just from sitting there alittle bit. Maybe it's the way the building echoes. I asked the waitress if there was somewhere quieter but she said the whole restaurant is loud. Also we could see the kitchen from where we were sitting, my husband could see the trash overflowing, and the floor looked dirty. That's not good as far as clean standards. We paid for the teas and left. The menu looked good but I couldn't handle the noise to eat there. Unfortunately my husband had to pay $25 for the parking. He forgot to ask if they validate. The sign said free for Finneys for 2 hours but we still had to pay. We ended up going somewhere else. read more

We stayed at a nearby hotel. We were pleased with all the areas they had to eat, but this was the best spot for sports with their screens & since it was the Dodgers start of the World Series, we stopped in a couple times to watch the game the staff excited happiness smiles galore, I t's upbeat and we started to feel like we were locals! Honestly a very solid place to go to. Prices are very competitive with the area especially being right next door to Disney. We ordered Loaded tots to begin with, they were really crispy and the sauce that was on top was really good! For entrees I got the Chicken sandwich that was really good with a kick to it! I had to take some of the chipotle aioli off lol My husband got the bbq burger and he said it was perfectly cooked. Everything came out fast and we didn't even wait to get sat which was surprising! They have multiple TVs so I'm sure Football Sundays go crazy! We'll have to come back for them cause the drinks were also really good! Not pictured was the Espresso martini! 10/10 no notes haha. It comes out fast and all photographs well. Burgers could be better, and they don't come with sides. Generally the food could be served hotter as well. Paying is easy on the tableside machine even with check splitting. Parking is behind a gate to keep Disneyland visitors out, and there's 2 hour validation. read more

What type of clientele are you hoping for? She pretty much said that the owner travels around and picks what they like and brings it together and this is what they end up with. At 1st I thought it was a mob themed craft bar, but then it felt like it had a rock n roll feel as well, and then with all the random TV's it soon felt like a cool man cave. Regardless, it was a cool vibe and I dig it! We ordered an appetizer and tri tip sandwich and side of fries and a house beer. Everything was top notch great, down to the last bite! For parking, please note that you have to park in the hotel parking however they will validate for free for two hours as long as you eat/drink there so it's easy to find parking! Had the opportunity to stop by for this Finney's soft opening tonight and they set the bar high! Located steps away from DCA, this restaurant is in a prime location for visitors looking for food/drinks outside of the park. Parking can fill up quickly, so aim to arrive with enough time before your reservation. Service was very quick and waitstaff were attentive even with how busy it was. We enjoyed the drinks (made from scratch, very fresh) as well as the apps and entrees we got. Highly recommend the cheesesteak egg rolls, carnitas nachos, chicken & waffle bites, and the coconut shrimp. The carnitas nachos are large enough to share between multiple people. I got the salmon sandwich and was very pleasantly surprised by how juicy and flavorful it was & the salmon was cooked perfectly.
