Came back to this place again after a great first experience. We had an awesome server, Sam. She was prompt to clear our table and refill our drink order. She was also great about making sure our meal came out in a timely manner and tasted great. Unlike the first visit, I sampled several drinks off their non alcoholic mocktail options. My favorite was the blood orange mojito, which perfectly combined a sweet but tart flavor. Also, a must try is their smoke and honey mocktail which mirrored the real deal, an alcoholic refresher! Much like my first visit, I ordered hot wings, and a Bavarian pretzel. This time, however, I also tried their poke nachos. I was told the salmon bowl left a memorable impression as well. This is my new favorite place to come and have a tasty meal, a cocktail, and some Skee Ball! One thing I did realize though is that after going here twice in one week, it's only as good as who's on duty as bar tender, chef, and server. They can be spectacular one day and mediocre the next. The employees here displayed some of the most disgusting and disrespectful behavior I have ever witnessed from an employee. A man came in simply trying to pick up an order and do his job. Instead of helping him, the employees proceeded to give him a hard time over a mistake THEY had made by giving an order to the wrong person. He showed them his phone with the order and pickup information, yet they accused him of not being a delivery driver and even told him that he "doesn't look like a delivery person." Wtf is a delivery person supposed to look like? They then went as far as accusing him of trying to get free food. When the man finally tried to leave rather than continue arguing with them, one of the employees proceeded to laugh at him and loudly say that he wanted free food in front of everyone. The level of humiliation and disrespect was completely unnecessary and the most disgusting behavior I have ever witnessed. This wasn't just poor customer service, it was cruel, humiliating, and completely unacceptable behavior toward someone who was simply trying to do his job. Watching multiple employees gang up on someone over a mistake they made themselves was absolutely disgusting. One of these employees was apparently a manager and if this is true, management seriously needs to be changed and these people need to be fired. Do better. read more

The inside was spacious and it wasn't extremely loud which I appreciated. Food: Spicy tuna crispy rice 6/10: I am not a big fish person so I didn't like it, but the rice was good! Came here to celebrate my sons 20th birthday. We were seated immediately our server, I think his name was, Sebastian was very attentive and friendly. He gave us suggestions for drinks and they were very delicious. The Carnitas nachos are so delicious! I've been to Finney's Crafthouse several times, and it's consistently been a great experience. I stopped by again last weekend with two friends about 45 minutes before closing. Even that close to closing, the atmosphere was relaxed, the restaurant was clean, and the service was just as friendly as always. This time we only ordered a round of cocktails. I can't remember the name of the one I had, but it was definitely spicy just like the menu described, and I really enjoyed it. One thing I have to recommend is the nachos--they are a must-try! They're easily one of my favorite menu items and one of the reasons I keep coming back. They also have a happy hour from 3-5 p.m. My only suggestion would be to extend it until 6 p.m. I work nearby, and with happy hour ending at 5, it's almost impossible to make it after work. I think a later happy hour would be a huge plus for people getting off work in the area. Overall, another great visit. The food was great! We sat at the bar before the lunch rush came through on Saturday. Bar staff is attentive and quick to put in our orders after we sat down. Plenty of beer selections to choose from, but I actually opted for a dirty soda!! I came here a few times already with my wife and this place is really good! Menu is pretty diverse and seems pretty busy the last few times we were here. Great place to come have a couple of drinks as well and watch some local sport games. There are also a few games in the back you can play. We started off with the carnitas nachos and it was pretty good. Very filling and a good amount for the both of us. No complaints there. For our main course, my wife ordered a couscous salad of some sort. She really enjoyed it. I chose the Wagyu Burger and this was expected from this restaurant. Finally got a chance to swing by and try Finney's Crafthouse out. This location is right in the heart of Orange circle so depending on the time of day, parking can be tough but thankfully, we arrived on a Saturday night before 7pm & was able to park in the parking structure off Lemon and Chapman with ease. It's a short walk to the restaurant so it was perfect. We were a party of 2 and we were able to be seated at a high top table right away. The vibes are casual and the ambiance was lively. There's plenty of tables and it looks like a great place for large groups. They even have an outdoor patio area. Service was excellent. Our waiter Jairo was very friendly, kind, and gave great recommendations. We ordered a few different items to try including the cheesesteak egg rolls which came out perfectly crispy & delicious. The mango habanero bone in hot wings were hot. It had a good balance of tang with a kick of heat. We had a side of sweet potato fries which were my personal favorite. They were thinly sliced so they had just the right texture of crispy & it was perfectly seasoned. The last thing we ordered were the crispy mahi mahi tacos. It was starred on the menu as a favorite but for us it wasn't our favorite. The fish was a bit dry & lacked seasoning. The slaw was a nice freshness to the fried fish but the firecracker aioli was not it. It did come with a little side of chips and salsa which were good. It was pretty busy, probably because of the World Series and the Dodgers were playing. Regardless, we were seated quickly and service was good. We ordered a round of drinks and a couple of apps to share. My friend ordered the Line 39 Cabernet and I ordered the seasonal cocktail which is a Passionfruit Sour. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and Crispy Brussels to share. Our drinks came out first, followed by the food. The Passionfruit Sour was well-balanced. It wasn't too sweet or sour, and the passionfruit flavor can be tasted. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice came with five pieces. It was good. The rice was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The spicy tuna was okay, but didn't stand out. The Crispy Brussels were also good. The tamarind ponzo was tart yet salty. There were only a couple pieces of fig, which were an interesting add to the dish. Overall, giving Finney's Crafthouse a 4/5. There is lots of seating inside and there's a covered outdoor patio with seating. It can get noisy when sitting indoors, which makes it difficult to hear the people you are sitting with. The restaurant was busy... but customer service should still be a thing. On our last visit, I ordered the chicken chipotle bowl. The one thing I wish is that the menu specified that the sauce was... added after the fact (like drizzled on?) versus the chicken being marinated in it. We both got two beers on tap, a pepperoni pizza and their loaded nachos. The food and drinks came out pretty fast and we were amazed by the nachos. They were loaded with both flavor and meaty, cheesy goodness. Would def come back again and get the nachos for sure. What a great experience! This restaurant has the appearance of a regular sports bar but the food is immaculate. Our server was so sweet and all of our food came out quickly and was hot. We got the chicken and waffles, the crispy brussel sprouts, and the ceasar salad with added blackened shrimp. For drinks we got the old fashioned and a glass of Sauvignon blanc. The chicken and waffles were perfect, probably the best chicken in waffles we've had in so cal coming in on top in comparison to the chicken and waffles at Georgia's and Bruxie. The waffle was crisp and fluffy and the chicken tender was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. I also enjoyed that the chicken and waffles came already dressed in a light syrup so that you didn't need to constantly be pouring syrup all over the place. The brussel sprouts were such a flavor bomb. The crispy exterior with the tender bite were a great texture combination and the roasted figs, furikake seasoning, and savory flavors were such a delicious pairing. I imaging if we added bacon it would've been even more delightful. The ceasar salad was very tasty and well done. It went very well with their sauv blanc. I did wish there was either more shrimp on the plate or larger shrimp mainly because the seafood to salad ratio was leaning a bit too much into the salad and I found myself having to really save my shrimp for specific bites. On a Friday night in June, I found myself in Orange and needing a place for beer and food--and I found Finney's! Not being a local, I didn't know that the place would be packed, but even after classes are done at the local college, there are still enough people needing some time at Finney's that they'll wait on the sidewalk (FYI, Finney's doesn't take reservations!). Luckily, it was just myself and I found a seat at the bar to start my adventure. The ambiance of the place is loud, probably especially on a Friday or Saturday night--people meeting friends, family, or just in the mood for shenanigans. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic place, this one might not be for you. Sitting at the bar, I got excellent service. The bar team was on it and super busy, so I appreciated that they made an effort to make sure I was taken care of. There were a bunch of beers on tap, and that fit my vibe completely. After getting a beverage, I ordered the Jalapeno egg burger, which was really delicious! It's a bit spicy, but the fried egg on top was a nice balance to the spice. They were consistently good. Then we saw the service start to slip about 6 months ago. I'm writing this review waiting at another restaurant down the street because we just walked out of Finney's after getting seated. This is the second time we've walked out of Finney's. Both times we just got tired of sitting at our table waiting for a server to come talk to us. They see us. They know we're there. No "hey we're really busy but we'll be right with you." Just no one seems to be responsible for taking our order, and so no one even checks in. It sucks. Finney's was great. Oh and they should get rid of the skeeball. Super annoying. read more

It was sometimes hard to hear the other person talk, but other than that it was fun. Our waitress was amazing and she gave us the lowdown on what she thinks is really good and what she didn't like. She answered all of our food questions and she was just a boss. The drinks were amazing. I know I got a margarita. I just don't know which one. It was strong and good. The brussels sprouts were the star of the show to me. I could've eaten six of those small plates. I will say I was a bit disappointed with the poke nachos that they had. The dressing I had on the side, but it wasn't that hot. There's another dressing on top of it but there wasn't enough. It just seemed kind of plain. I've lived in this area for five years and somehow never stepped inside this place until today. Glad I finally did. The atmosphere was relaxed, lively, and easygoing, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I sat at the bar, got served right away, and ordered one of their Mexican lagers. It came out ice cold with a lime wedge and was amazing. When I asked for a food suggestion, the bartender recommended the chicken lettuce wraps, which they said were a new favorite. Good call. They came out in about five minutes even though the place was packed. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly, with jalapeños, crunchy tortilla strips, and just the right mix of sweet and heat. The spicy mayo on the side blended it all together and added that extra punch of flavor. Everything about it was great, the texture, the sauce, the freshness. I was seriously impressed. The food is yummy and the service is friendly. We've been to this location twice now and we'll definitely return. The burgers are great and their onion rings are fantastic--dressed with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Today I got the ahi poke bowl. It's new to their menu. It was tasty--I ate every bite--but I don't think I'd order it again. It most mostly white rice that was garnished with ahi, cucumbers, edamame, and avocado. I don't think it was sushi rice either. They have a really large menu with a lot of food and drink options. It took a hot minute for us to decide what we wanted because there are so many options.
