Been here quite a few times and it's always good. The servers are friendly and the portions for breakfast are pretty big. I usually go with the omelette and it never disappoints. It does get busy on the weekends, so getting there early helps avoid the crowd. Prices are reasonable and I like the string lighting and decorations. It gives a nice vibe.

Crab Cakes (imitation crab) | IG @moniquedao

A little disappointed overall with the food. Pastrami Sandwich was OK. The pastrami itself was a little dry, thick, and not fatty enough. French roll wasn't crunchy like I requested. I asked for the crab cakes as a side instead of Benedict. I should've asked whether it were made with real or imitation crab before ordering. Turns out, it's imitation crab. I'm not sure I've been to a restaurant that serves imitation crab for crab cakes. Feels kinda wrong. And these "crab" cakes came out not as hot as I expected. Yes they were crispy on the outside but the inside was not hot. Makes me wonder if it's old. Originally told it would be one cake for $6 but they gave me 2. So that's cool. Small plaza with limited parking. Restaurant is also small and it felt too crowded inside. Anyway, I wanted to like this place because of high ratings. But left feeling underwhelmed.

The food at Orange Cafe is fabulous - you really can't beat the quality. The servers are all friendly and fast (although Saturday and Sunday they get pretty busy, so be patient). I hate to post this 'cuz I don't want them to get any busier! But they're the best breakfast place in Orange - maybe even Orange County! Try the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict (4 different kinds!) or Breakfast Burrito. They also serve mimosas and beer and champagne, if you're in the mood. The vibe is very Bistro with good music. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoy!

French toast- crème brûlée excellent!!!

Solid breakfast spot! I met a few friends who live nearby. Parking lot was easy and restaurant was empty on a Thursday morning. Service was strange- the server kept saying 'everything is good' and didn't really good enough feedback. We ended up ordering vanilla cappuccino (excellent), shared the French toast (incredible) and got three separate egg dishes with sour dough and some hash browns to share. Everything was excellent! The spot was fun and vibrant! Felt clean and comfortable. A great find!

Everything we ordered was super delicious. Gourmet omelette was superb. Sangria was amazing. Bloody Mary was delicious. Pancake was yummy. The prices are very reasonable. The service was good. It was one lady doing her best to ensure that everyone was taken care of. She was very nice and friendly.

Orange Cafe Bistro is a cute little cafe in a small shopping center. It was pretty busy when my friends and I arrived. There are a number of seats inside as well as some tables outside covered by an orange awning. The menu has so much variety from a variety of breakfast dishes to burgers, sandwiches, and salads. They also have a kids menu with a Panda Face Pancake - cute! We ordered the 2 pancake combo, the crab cake benedict, and the Creme Brulee French Toast. Everything was soo good! The pancakes were fluffy and delicious just the way I like it. The french toast came with a yummy custard sauce with that candied crunchy sugar crust. The crab cakes were equally delightful, with a crispy crab cake and perfectly poached eggs, covered in plenty of yummy hollandiase sauce. Service was great, our server was upbeat and friendly. From the food to the service, I totally enjoyed my dining experience here. Parking is very limited, so you may have to find street parking if it's busy.

Love this place. We come almost every Saturday with our dog, Bruno. The food is consistently good and Maria always takes really good care of us.

I always enjoy coming to this local neighborhood friendly restaurant - especially for breakfast. The food is fresh and the service is always great - even when busy. Nina was my server today and did a great job!

This was my second time eating at Orange Cafe Bistro, and it was amazing! My sister and I came earlier in the week, and I loved it so much that I brought my husband back a couple of days later! Maria helped me both times and she was wonderful. She was so helpful and so sweet! We will definitely be coming back soon and asking for Maria!

The area around the bar is very nice and lively. The other restaurant areas away from the bar are very nice too. We had two appetizers. The Brussels sprouts were fantastic. The seasoning and how they were cooked made them quite tasty. We heard about the pretzels and they were excellent too. My entree was the Mongolian short ribs that include a vegetable. I really enjoyed it. Others had the steak sandwich and salads. All were very good. From the start we were served by Nikolina. She was really good as service was prompt, she knew about the food and was very personable. Overall, a great experience. In regard to parking, most of the areas are paid parking. The restaurant offered free valet. There is a small lot across the street and some street parking. We parked at the Lemon street lot which always spaces available, is free and is about 3 blocks west on Maple and Lemon. The old town area is a nice place to walk around.

For our main course, my wife ordered a couscous salad of some sort. She really enjoyed it. I chose the Wagyu Burger and this was expected from this restaurant. Juicy, artisan craft buns and definitely was not the first time we ordered it since we have came here a few times already. We even door dashed it one time haha. If you are going there for lunch, I highly recommend you get the burger off the menu. I am not kidding. It is one of the best tasting hamburgers I've had in a very long time. They cook it perfectly and their french fries are seasoned to perfection. Wait staff is top-notch, they definitely take care of your table while not hovering over you. One thing of note, they have great iced tea. Bottom line? The owner claimed we forgot our IDs, which isn't true. One of us simply left it in the car and went back to get it. He also claimed one of us was wearing a tank top, which was completely false. It was a regular short-sleeve shirt. Maybe the owner should learn what a tank top actually is before making assumptions and insulting customers. On top of that, making comments about people "living at home" and not being able to "afford sleeves" was immature, unnecessary, and honestly just embarrassing behavior from a business owner. The whole experience was strange and uncomfortable. Considering it was a weekend night and there were only about four people there, the place already looked like it was about to close down. What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;)…read more We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

ENCHILIDA SUIZAS, lobster + shrimp filling, corn, poblano cream sauce, pickled red onion, cilantro, queso fresco, I give 5/5, I enjoyed the combination of the sauce and enchiladas, it wasn't overcooked and had a great refreshing savory flavor. Plated very nicely, visually appealing. BULGOGI KIMCHI FRIED RICE, fried eggs, gochujang, green onion furikake, pickled radish, cilantro, I give 4/5, overall I enjoyed this plate, but I do feel the beef could have been slightly stronger in terms of flavor? DULCE DE LECHE FRENCH TOAST, crème fraîche chantilly, brûléed banana, chocolate sauce, maldon salt, I would give 5/5, presentation was beautiful, taste wise I really enjoyed it, had a very good balance of sweetness and not too strong. I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable. Plus I think you and your establishment are great and I wanted to detail that as well Kimberly.
