Located in Orange Circle this place is a hidden jam if you're craving some brunch food. Their dish is so good. I like their quiche so much because the egg is very fluffy and it's not dense or filled with starch. I got Lorraine, the one with bacon. Parking is a hit or miss you know or in circle so depends on the time that you come, could be street parking or paid parking. Niçoise salad Tuna, red onions, hard boiled eggs. So much flavor action going on here. This is a great option if you're looking for healthy and yummy. Cafe Cubano Espresso, raw sugar with half and half. I thought the cup was smallish, otherwise kind of a sweet drink with caffeine. This is such a cute cafe near the Orange Circle! Came for brunch w my friends and it was the perfect spot on a sunny day. You order at the front, seat yourself, and they serve the food. I ordered the Florentine Benedict which was absolutely delicious. The hollandaise sauce was creamy, eggs were poached perfectly, and the florentine sautéed spinach mix below complemented the benedict nicely. This restaurant took over the location of a Pandor location that was previously here. However, they opted to kee most of the menu. When I inquired what changed from the cashier, she mentioned that they had some goods that were delivered from a central location such as some of the breads that previously came from Pandor's bakery. For what we ordered, I couldn't tell much of a difference. I came with my wife and son on Mother's Day. We came before 9am and had no issues finding a table. They told us their weekend rush usually started at 10am. One of the improvements they have over Pandor is that the tables are numbered. You have to have a table before you order. If you know Pandor, it could be really crazy at some of the other locations to pick up your dine in order only to discover you had nowhere to sit. The numbered tables are an improvement over Pandor's free for all seating. I ordered the Paradis de Caramel Iced Latte. The visual menu is pretty neat. It is kind of like an ipad near the register but it has pictures of everything on their menu. My wife and I ordered the French Toast to share. I ordered the Parisian Omelet. The food was delicious. I dinged a star because this restaurant needs some polish. They need someone to sweep under the tables. You have to ask for butter because they don't bring it with the bread or offer it to you. We ordered 3 plates to share but they only brought one set of utensils. You also have to know the number of the table you will be sitting at but they have no map at the register. This is an adorable cafe that my mother and I randomly passed by. The ambience and the beautiful croissants on display drew us in. My mom loved her meal. Staff was very friendly. My only suggestion would be to turn the fans off, because my mom's latte got cold rather quickly. Also, the eggs weren't poached and I ended up with hard boiled poached eggs. We came in very early on a Sunday morning, basically shortly after they opened, the café was nice and quiet for breakfast. Unfortunately a lot of their pastries were not out by the time we arrived, I wish we would've waited a little bit because while what we got was good, the stuff they started bringing out 30 to 45 minutes later looked way better! That being said, the food was delicious! I wish this place was closer because I would come a lot more often. I was extremely oppressed with their homemade granola and yogurt, I actually ordered it for my toddler, but I was happy to finish what she didn't! L'Orange Cafe has the same location like Pandor. Sad that the French bakery closed its doors in Orange, but glad to see a similar one taking over. Same decor, furniture, menu, similar prices. We stopped by for pastries and coffee. Ordered 2 honey lavender latte-s, an apricot Danish and a Kouign-amann (which I wouldn't get again, to chewy). We got everything for eating there. Grabbed the pastries and sat at a table and waited and waited for latte-s. Got some lemon water from the house and after 10 minutes or longer I checked for latte-s. That's when they started to make it. In a to go cup, not a cute cup as I requested. I had to ask them to change it. They forgot about our order, also forgot to charge us for 2 latte-s even if we asked for 2. Not a fan of paying tips upfront, in situations like this it's not worth it. They made it up for us by not charging us for another one. But I wish everything was done right, tired of checking on people. Nice latte-s, really good, the Danish was good, the selection of everything was plentiful and fresh. I am glad they took over, but they have some more customer service training and attention to do. It's family owned and operated and has nice layout. It's pricey and easily matched by good quality of foods. The self serve style doesn't really translate to quicker service, because the foods are cooked to order. They offer mini champagne bottles and excellent freshly squeezed orange juice. The Lebanese breakfast was OK but the eggs were runny. The thin French Fries with the breakfast was unusual but very tasty. Overall a solid four stars. read more

Breakfast for two (2) was $41 (1 Lebanese breakfast + 1 breakfast of eggs, sausage + coffee + 1 bottled sparkling water). Then I added a $5 dollar tip @ the register when ordering. Total $46. Went to our table and our breakfast was delivered, and we asked for hot sauce and a glass of water, and the waiter pointed to where it was in the back and we had to get up and go get it ourselves. Their baked goods looked excellent; however, everything was, IMO, very expensive. I'm sure they have to cover high operating costs due to downtown Orange, CA location/rent, food expense and staff and still make a profit, but I won't be going back. Suggestion: 1) don't leave a tip when you have to walk up to the register, order for yourself and then there's no further service other than delivery of the food to your table. No one came to offer a refill or warm up on the coffee order to check and see if we needed anything else. We came at a time when it was not super crowded around 10 AM and we were there just a little over an hour. 2) there was some loud street noise from vehicular traffic when we were trying to have a brief meeting towards the front, open-air area of the restaurant. 3) we could not, no matter how many attempts, connect to the Wi-Fi for some reason and we're actually unable to complete a few brief tasks online. We even asked for help to make sure we were logging onto the correct Wi-Fi. And still no connection. read more

I always visit this coffee shop when shopping in this area because I just love their Hazelnut Haze Latte. Its delicious cinnamon nut flavor is awesome and their foam is so delicious, sometimes I stop by twice in one day, one before shopping and grab the other for the drive back home. Weekends tends to be really busy and they will have a long line and no dine in seating. Seating is first come first serve they don't seem to have much staff working so it can be hectic and when I order food it usually takes about 20 to 30 min wait depending on how busy they are. The food is good and decent pricing for the amount of food you receive. Most plates can be shareable. Coffee orders tend to take no more than 10 minutes. Staff is friendly when taking your order or when following up on your order time. The pastries always taste fresh as well. Overall the place is cute with elegant french inspired coffee shop decor. read more

I've been to L'Orange Café twice now. Today being the second time. For anyone who doesn't know. L'Orange Café used to be a Pandor Bakery. It has changed hands a few months ago and along with that, the name has changed as well. However, nearly 100% of the actual menu has remained exactly the same (Even the menu Pamphlet) except for some modifications to the way certain dishes are being prepared and presented. And I will get back to this in a minute and explain why a 3 star rating. Which by the way, is not meant to be used as a standard gauge for this restaurant but rather to share my experience on that day and to give the restaurant some feedback that they can use at their own discretion. So, to start with. The interior has recently been nicely refurnished and re-decorated in a way that truly complements this beautiful early 20th Century building. From the Ornate crown molding that line up the 12 ft high ceilings, to the modern yet timeless large chandeliers, the individual table lamps and the beautiful canvas wall art depicting Paris, France. The interior is now cozier and more inviting than ever. On a cool and cloudy day like today, with a warm Cup of Coffee and a Croissant at your table, or your favorite dish. And with Classic french songs playing in the background. You can easily be transported to Paris, France. The service has always been great and fairly quick and staff members always friendly. I have always liked their menu as it is varied and there is always something for everyone. Today i took my parents for brunch and the following was my experience. My Mother and i ordered the French Onion Soup, i also ordered the Chicken and Mushroom crêpe. My Father ordered an Omelette with mushrooms, bell pepper and onions. And for dessert we shared an Affogato with Nutella Gelato. When the food arrived, everything looked delicious and well presented. My Father was really happy with his Omelette. And here is what went wrong. The Onion soup, which is one of my all time favorites is an item that has definitely been modified from the original version and was very disappointing. The Soup was served barely warm, It was fairly watered down leaving almost no flavor. It was served with a piece of flat bread on the side covered with melted cheese. The taste of which i did not recognize. There were 2 twigs of what looked like fresh thyme used for flavoring and that were left in the soup. I removed both of them but i ended up choking on a small piece that i could not see. So that was a bust. My Mother ended up eating the cheese covered flat bread and left 3/4 of her soup. Please bring back the traditional version which is served with large croutons inside the soup and the melted Gruyere Cheese oozing over the edge of the bowl. And please no herb twigs inside the soup. Big hazard!!! That's why i gave a 3 Star rating. Also. The chicken and mushroom crêpe. Unlike what i was used to, the crêpe was under cooked, the Chicken was dry because there was barely any béchamel sauce. When you cut the crêpe, the béchamel is supposed to ooze out. This one was dry. That was also very disappointing. The saving grace was the affogato with Nutella Gelato. This combination was Absolutely delicious! It was served in a tall dessert glass. It was topped with a piece of something crunchy and delicious that i could not figure out. It was also topped with whipped cream and It had small pieces of thin chocolate bark on the bottom. The slowly melting Nutella Gelato in the hot espresso tasted like sweet heaven. That was a definite hit!!! To L'Orange Café: I'm routing for you and I'll be back hoping to see some improvement to the items mentioned above. read more

100% recommend !!! Called this restaurant the night before we wanted to come in for brunch they let us reserve a table for our party since it was a little bit bigger. They usually don't do that but they were really quick to accommodate us. We went to do our wedding groomsmen and bridesmaids proposal gifts. They were extremely tentative. The food was great. The coffee was delicious. They brought me out a cheesecake for free as a celebration to getting engaged.
