Very nice place, cute ambiance, nice and fast service, but what it really impressed us was the carbonara pasta! Wow, very delicious and unique. Our server was very nice, he help is in all and was able to rich all our needs. The place is always full so waiting time can be more than 10 minutes but once you are inside they are very fast. Good staff storico

Gelato Flight

This is such a quaint cafe! It is small and cozy but they have a good amount of seating. The staff is really nice. We ordered a gelato flight with strawberry, salted caramel, pistachio, and chocolate. The presentation was really cute! Strawberry- Light and refreshing. You can really taste the strawberry flavor and get plenty of fruit pieces. Salted Caramel- This has a deep caramel flavor with a hint of sea salt at the end. Rich and satisfying! Pistachio- This was delightfully creamy with a good pistachio flavor. I appreciate that it wasn't overly sweet. Chocolate- If you're looking for chocolatey goodness, this is it. It had a mild sweetness and a deep cocoa flavor. Great experience overall!

A hidden gem! It's a restaurant and coffee shop as well with its own parking lot out in front. I came here on a Friday morning for a quick catch up with a friend and the 'restaurant' dining area is open for seating (lots of tables!) since the restaurant doesn't open until lunch time. The menu is what you would expect and they also have some seasonal offerings. They have both food and drink -- Food was great and affordable! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to meet up with friends. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available - more indoor seating though. The outdoor seating is a bit cramped outside.

Leaving with my coffee and looking back at those enjoying their Italian meals from the attached restaurant.

Stopped in to grab a mocha to go before the improv show down the street (per a recommendation) and am so glad I did. Quite the quaint little Java bistro with a great menu. Also very excited to go back to try the gelato which I was so excited to see they had. This lil cafe was also attached to an Italian restaurant whose aromas of garlic and fresh tomato's brought me back to authentic Sunday pasta dinners at my grandma's house. And to think I was just "going to grab a cup of joe" somewhere and wound up being teleported to a little village in Sicily. Will definitely go back for a longer experience and dinner next time.

Charming cafe with cozy vibes. Staff were nice and attentive. I had the matcha latte with a hint of pistachio. Frittata was fluffy on the inside but needed some salt and good with their salsa. Sourdough bread was great, i asked for some butter. Always nice to have some greens with my meals, in this case the arugula which i prefer with a drizzle of olive oil. Hubbs got the small burrito and ice coffee. Standard for him. Very impressed with how our food stayed hot the whole time we ate.

Caccio e pepe with a side of grilled chicken

Awesome service as you walk in. It wasn't as busy as it usually looks, maybe because it was a Tuesday evening. We were seated right away, we chose to sit in the café. We ordered the caccio e pepe with a side of grilled chicken. The pasta is all made in house. You can definitely tell, just by the bite of the pasta. The the sauce was not overly salty like some caccio e pepe can be; a good balance with the pepper. The chicken was well seasoned too. We ended up ordering the cinnamilk latte as well. Simple but delicious. Definitely look forward to coming back soon

I love this place! One of my favorite local spots, I try to go once a week! Every latte I've tried has been so yummy. Staff is friendly and service is quick. I usually go in the mornings on the weekends, sometimes it can be packed but a great place overall.

S'mores latte- summer special

Not only do I enjoy coming here for an authentic Italian dinner but breakfast is great too! Splurged and enjoyed the sugary lattes this morning- s'mores and peach but ultimately prefer a simple espresso drink on most days. The bakery items came out fresh from the oven so my Nutella cornetto was warm, flakey and delicious. The patio and inside space are perfect spots to hang out for coffee with friends. And thank you to the cashier for the recommendations!

We sat in here one afternoon while waiting for the full restaurant to open. Had coffee, a pastry, a salad, and even a bottle of wine we bought there. Everything was excellent. Oh, I almost forgot, we enjoyed all that while playing Uno with cards that were just sitting there. They thought of everything. Even if not there for the best pasta of your life next door, I highly recommend the Cafe. Everything we had was reasonably priced and the casual vibe of the table and chairs, the couch, and the patio seats is worth coming back for again and again.

I came across this great local café scrolling through yelp. It is a restaurant/Cafe and can be a bit confusing where the Cafe is since there's two different entrance (right side will be the Cafe). They have varieties of wonderful lattes and teas as well as regular brews. Cafe is a bit small so some have to wait outside the door, in line, to place their orders. I decided to try their Latte Noci Doci with 25% sweetness. It is hazelnut and almond flavor latte. It was actually very good but wish I adjusted the sweetness down to 15%. I like my Java strong. My girlfriends ordered Match Latte and London Fog Latte which were all good as well. I will definitely come back to try the restaurant.

The coffee in this cafe is too good! I'm obsessed with the pistachio latte and the brunch is my favorite for a lowkey hang with girls.

What is the difference between this restaurant and the one next door? Same owner?

Pozzuoli family winery in San Miguel owns both. Storico does cafe, brunch, gelato, and pasta. Centro does pizza, dessert and beer. Both have wine and appetizers.

There were about 3 people ahead of me in line and a few waiting for drinks, but I was able to order and get my drink in around 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and checked in with us while waiting in line! I ordered the Matcha Two, which comes as a matcha latte topped with salted matcha vanilla cream foam. The foam was velvety and creamy. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor with subtle sweetness. Oatmilk was the default choice, and while I usually think oatmilk can overpower matcha, it worked well in this drink. It is a little pricey for 1 drink, but that also seems to be the norm these days for specialty drinks. This is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to hang out. There's no seating, just a bench inside, and everyone waited outside since the interior is on the smaller side. Parking was easy when I went. Overall, a pleasant experience for a yummy matcha drink, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their matcha menu!

We came on a Sunday afternoon and I was immediately drawn to their case of yummy and aesthetically pleasing looking donuts. I ended up going with the "Bumbleberry Glazed" ($5.50) which is a combination of blueberry, blackberry and raspberry glaze atop of their 40 hour fermented sourdough yeast donut. Their donuts are fried to order so mine arrived perfectly warm and is definitely one of the best yeast donuts I've ever had. Service is friendly, and the shop is clean with ample amount of indoor and some outdoor seating so you can enjoy your donut right then and there. I can't wait to come back to try more of their other flavors!

Not line-out-the-door busy, but…read moreevery table inside and outside was filled, a few people were waiting on orders, and there was a small line. First impression? Immediate sticker shock. A single donut for $5.50 and half a dozen for $34 is kind of wild. At those prices, my expectations shot way up. One thing I will give them--the donuts are fried to order, which is a nice touch because you know they're fresh. We ordered the Meyer lemon glazed, strawberry glazed, and the bumble berry. After ordering, we waited about 5-10 minutes, which isn't terrible, but for almost $18 for three donuts, I was definitely questioning if it would be worth it. Unfortunately... I don't think it was. The texture of the donuts was amazing--super soft, pillowy, and honestly really enjoyable to eat. The base donut itself had great flavor too. But the actual fruit flavors? That's where it fell flat. None of them were very strong, and after a few bites they all started to taste the same. The biggest disappointment for me was the lemon donut. Lemon is usually such a bold, bright flavor, so I thought it would be an easy favorite. Instead, it was one of those "smells like lemon but tastes like nothing" situations, which was honestly frustrating. If I had to rank them: strawberry was the best, then bumble berry, then lemon--but overall, none of them really stood out enough to justify the price. I really wanted to love this place given all the hype, but for me, it's just too expensive to risk being underwhelmed. I probably wouldn't come back.

Came here with some friends for Afternoon Tea on a Saturday. We made a reservation for 12:30pm. Check-in was easy and quick. Since it was raining, we were seated indoors. Our server came to explain the menu and tea choices. Unfortunately, they were out of some teas, but they have a seasonal tea menu to make up for it. There were four of us and we all got the Afternoon Tea set. The teas we chose were the Coconut Milk Green Tea, Blueberry Pie Green Tea, Earl Grey Lavender, and Cherry Rose Rooibos. The teas came out first followed by the food items. We were told to let the teas steep for 4 minutes before pouring them. They were all great, but the favorite for us was the Coconut Milk Green Tea. It was creamy, smooth, and milky with a nice coconut flavor. The Blueberry Pie Green Tea tasted like a blueberry pie. We did not feel that the blueberry flavor was artificial. The Earl Grey Lavender was more Earl Grey than lavender. There might have been a subtle lavender flavor. The Cherry Rose Rooibos was surprisingly flavorful. We were able to taste both the cherry and rose. The food items were all solid. Our favorite sandwiches are the Chicken Salad and Cucumber ones. The breads for all the sandwiches were soft and fluffy, but they held up well. The scones were crunchy but not dry, and the jam was delicious. The fruit tart was mediocre. The pastry was soggy, affecting the texture of the tart. The macaron was not as chewy as others I have had in thr past, but was not too sweet. I did not try the donut so cannot comment on it. Overall, giving Morning Lavender Cafe a 4.5/5. Service is great and staff are quick and attentive. The teas were all good and most of the food is solid with exception of a couple of bites. It is a cute spot for hanging out or having an event such as a bridal shower or birthday. Would recommend to others and would return for Afternoon Tea or other items.

Service was average. Expect to wait about 10 minutes with average customer volume as they spend more time of curating each drink. 4/5 largely based on coffee as I feel the customer experience can be improved. One piece of feedback is that the menu should be reorganized. There are espresso drinks on several of the menu panels but then one space specifically that is titled espresso drinks which would imply the others don't have espresso. For example, the house specialties are listed on a completely separate panel as the espresso drinks, would've like to order one of those had I known they were offered. Essentially you have to read the whole menu with the way it's currently organized you can't just search for tea or coffee sections or you'll likely miss something Importantly you can't study or work here. They intentionally don't have wifi or outlets available to foster a different customer experience. Many of the clientele were reading or knitting which was pleasant. While I support this, it's not made know to customers by signs or anything - you would have to look on Yelp beforehand to know. In addition, I've been to other Kean branches that offered wifi so unless this is a new policy or the branches are owned independently it's important to make customers aware they can't expect the internet at this location in particular. I was caught off guard and had to leave immediately as I needed wifi at the time which was unfortunate. Seats about 25 inside, patio also available. Bathroom under lock and key. Parking is in l shopping center, no issues.
