A long wait but kinda worth it! Long line in the little complex but it moved quicker than expected. Parking is a hassle but it's not like LA parking. From back of the line to getting our drinks in hand took about 45-50 minutes, it felt quicker than that though. Went on a Saturday afternoon about an hour before closing. Staff were very friendly and kind. Made our drinks beautifully. Inside is very small but it's meant to have more space for the kind staff to make as many drinks as possible. Banana Coffee - 9.5/10, the best in the county for sure, the fresh banana pieces are a nice touch and the banana cream and coffee tasted great. Mango Matcha - 6/10. Mango puree tasted AMAZING before mixing, after mixing it kinda got lost in the matcha. Matcha was slightly grainy but it still tasted good. I would wait in line for the coffee again 100%, but I would try the other matcha as well.

It's organized and run efficiently. The line wasn't too bad and imo moves quickly. Once you order and pay, the drinks come out fast. The cashier was super friendly and very cheery. I got Matcha Two and my sister got Mango Matcha. I was between Matcha Two and Strawberry Matcha but decided to go with Matcha Two. It was satisfactory, but I've had better. My sister really wanted to try their Signature Korean Salt Bread but they had already sold out. They probably had literally just sold out shortly before because we saw people eating it/ were able to purchase one. Parking was easy to find. We got a parking spot right in front of the store.

Mango Matcha 4/5 I was hesitant to try the Mango Matcha, but I'm glad I did. Who knew mango and matcha was a good pairing? It's also one of their most popular drinks. The sweet mango purée and smooth matcha combination is worth trying. Matcha Two 4/5 My sister said hers was okay and that she has had better double matcha drinks in the Los Angeles area. The place is small. They only allow one party at a time, so there's always a line outside. The staff are always friendly and upbeat. Come early if you want to try their salt bread. I've missed it twice and this morning, the person in front of us got the last one. So sad.

Three visits in and I'm not slowing down. Ayer isn't just living up to the hype, definitely exceeded my expectations. The banana coffee hits different, the Matcha Two is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, and the mango and strawberry matchas are refreshing without being overly sugary... they're so damn tasty Even the Spanish latte holds its own and that's something in would normally not order. Every drink feels intentional; like someone actually cared about what went into your cup. This is central OC's next obsession, and if you haven't been yet, you're tripping. My first time playing as a random Thursday at like 2 or 2;30 and it had a pretty long line. The good thing is it really does move fast and their efficient. After trying the drinks it's no shocker or surprise why it stays busy 24/7 Hopefully I get to try the salted Bread sometime as it tends To run out daily!

Absolutely love this place and their matcha! I've been getting the matcha here forever but decided to try to the Spanish phin, and it was perfect. Strong like a Vietnamese coffee, and the cinnamon added a different touch to it. The matcha here is so addicting, you can taste the matcha and it's the perfect sweetness (I got mine less sugar) I do wish I could bring my friends here to drink and hang out, but there's no seating and the ordering system is a bit inefficient. You order with the barista then the person at the kiosk punches in your order

Parking: Large free parking plaza still quite packed. Interior: Small shop only with order and take out counter. No seats. Wait Time: 20min wait on a weekend afternoon. 5-10min for drink order. Items Order: 8/10 Mango Matcha $7.50 - Initially sweetness was closer to 10-20% so it was very light and had to ask for adjustment. Staff were nice and were able accommodate. Matcha was solid in flavor and mango was very natural and medium in strength. Not too creamy but size is small.

This is one of my top places to get matcha in OC! I love their matcha mango, which doesnt taste too artificial or sweet- the matcha flavor is perfect! I also tried their matcha two, i personally enjoy getting their vanilla top instead as the matcha foam is pretty strong! Nonetheless the service is always friendly and fast despite the long lines. On a Saturday the line was halfway down the block (25 min wait) and parking was a hassle... but on a random weekday the lines were not too long! The store itself is only for order and go so no seats! But I love how they enforce having people wait outside to order to control the crowd. I do hear their salt bread is good so I will be sure to try that when its not sold out!

Small coffee spot located in a strip mall in Tustin. I was in the area looking for pick me up. This place came up and got me curious. It has a pretty good size lot in parking was pretty easy to find. As soon as I walked up, I noticed a line and a few people waiting for their orders. This place seemed very popular. When it was my turn to order, the people were very friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the banana, coffee, which was a Vietnamese iced coffee with a banana cream top. It was perfect for what I wanted in at the time. Pretty quick In-N-Out and getting a deliciously made beverage. So easy and so delicious.

Super yummy coffee/matcha spot. Parking lot is a little small though so it might take a sec to find a spot if you go at a busy time Banana coffee: 5/5 loved that it didn't have that artificial banana flavor My friend also really liked her mango matcha

A little late on the review for Ayer, but visited a little bit after the initial traction the cafe was getting when it first opened. I arrived a little bit before noon and the line wasn't too bad. The staff was very sweet, as I only waited about 10-15 mins to order but different staff came out and thanked me for waiting in line although I really didn't wait long. It's a pretty small cafe with no tables, so all you could pretty much do is order and then stand outside and wait till they called you. I ordered the mango matcha and the matcha two, which I absolutely loved the mango matcha as it had both puree and mango juice. The matcha two fell a bit short for me, but it might just be because I was expecting a more deeper matcha flavor. It was lighter despite it seeming otherwise. Would definitely go back for the mango matcha!

Pulled up to Ayer during lunch and waited about 15 minutes to order. The casually stylish girlies had a matcha craving all at the same time apparently. Lots of workers in such a small space and they're working their tail feathers off! It's a grab and go place so no room for studying or chit chatting. My blueberry matcha was absolutely refreshing and the matcha itself was smooth and didn't have a bitter aftertaste.

The line was really long and the parking lot fills up quick, but they have a quick turnaround time on orders so it kinda cancels out. Not the type of place where you can chill and enjoy your drink either since it's a very small cafe with little to no seating. The Matcha 2 was slightly earthy and not too sweet, which I appreciated. For those who like to be a bit more adventurous, they also offer other flavors, like the Mango Matcha or the Blueberry Matcha.

Checked out Ayer Coffee and really liked it! Got the double matcha and the strawberry matcha, and I have to say that it is one of my favorite strawberry matchas that I have tried! It was perfectly balanced and tasted like real strawberries rather than a strawberry jam. The double matcha was also very smooth and balanced. To order, there is a line that starts outside of the coffee shop. A staff member will call you in when they are ready. Then, you order at the counter and pay at a separate register. Since it is a smaller shop, you wait outside for your drink. Super simple shop with good drinks!!

Came here with some friends for Afternoon Tea on a Saturday. We made a reservation for 12:30pm. Check-in was easy and quick. Since it was raining, we were seated indoors. Our server came to explain the menu and tea choices. Unfortunately, they were out of some teas, but they have a seasonal tea menu to make up for it. There were four of us and we all got the Afternoon Tea set. The teas we chose were the Coconut Milk Green Tea, Blueberry Pie Green Tea, Earl Grey Lavender, and Cherry Rose Rooibos. The teas came out first followed by the food items. We were told to let the teas steep for 4 minutes before pouring them. They were all great, but the favorite for us was the Coconut Milk Green Tea. It was creamy, smooth, and milky with a nice coconut flavor. The Blueberry Pie Green Tea tasted like a blueberry pie. We did not feel that the blueberry flavor was artificial. The Earl Grey Lavender was more Earl Grey than lavender. There might have been a subtle lavender flavor. The Cherry Rose Rooibos was surprisingly flavorful. We were able to taste both the cherry and rose. The food items were all solid. Our favorite sandwiches are the Chicken Salad and Cucumber ones. The breads for all the sandwiches were soft and fluffy, but they held up well. The scones were crunchy but not dry, and the jam was delicious. The fruit tart was mediocre. The pastry was soggy, affecting the texture of the tart. The macaron was not as chewy as others I have had in thr past, but was not too sweet. I did not try the donut so cannot comment on it. Overall, giving Morning Lavender Cafe a 4.5/5. Service is great and staff are quick and attentive. The teas were all good and most of the food is solid with exception of a couple of bites. It is a cute spot for hanging out or having an event such as a bridal shower or birthday. Would recommend to others and would return for Afternoon Tea or other items.

Service was average. Expect to wait about 10 minutes with average customer volume as they spend more time of curating each drink. 4/5 largely based on coffee as I feel the customer experience can be improved. One piece of feedback is that the menu should be reorganized. There are espresso drinks on several of the menu panels but then one space specifically that is titled espresso drinks which would imply the others don't have espresso. For example, the house specialties are listed on a completely separate panel as the espresso drinks, would've like to order one of those had I known they were offered. Essentially you have to read the whole menu with the way it's currently organized you can't just search for tea or coffee sections or you'll likely miss something Importantly you can't study or work here. They intentionally don't have wifi or outlets available to foster a different customer experience. Many of the clientele were reading or knitting which was pleasant. While I support this, it's not made know to customers by signs or anything - you would have to look on Yelp beforehand to know. In addition, I've been to other Kean branches that offered wifi so unless this is a new policy or the branches are owned independently it's important to make customers aware they can't expect the internet at this location in particular. I was caught off guard and had to leave immediately as I needed wifi at the time which was unfortunate. Seats about 25 inside, patio also available. Bathroom under lock and key. Parking is in l shopping center, no issues.
