Incredible! I loved my visit here! I came here craving matcha and left so happy. There's plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is super cute. They also have a small selection of merch like stationery and other little goodies to browse while you wait. The staff was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. One thing I loved is that they make several different cream tops in-house, and you can sample them before ordering! I'm usually a plain matcha latte kind of girl, but I couldn't resist trying one of the cream tops. I got the banana cream top with my matcha latte, and it was delicious. The cream wasn't overly sweet, and the banana flavor tasted fresh and natural, not artificial at all. They even topped it with Nilla wafer crumbs, which was such a cute touch. My matcha was excellent, and the whole experience was wonderful. I'll definitely be back!
Great little coffee shop in a small plaza! I've gotten both the coffee and matcha here and really like both. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. Definitely a cute spot to stop by for a drink!
Febe does their flavors INCREDIBLY well, but i feel like they skimp a bit on the actual AMOUNT of drink you're getting compared to other places. For roughly $7 a drink i did feel like a majority of my cup was ice, but that aside, I really enjoyed all the drinks we tried. The red bean matcha was so tasty, matcha quality is good as well, but if you're a fan of sweeter drinks (like at airoma, 7leaves etc) then id maybe ask for it to be sweetened a bit more. The black sesame cream on the hojicha was very good, but the hojicha base was a bit watery in my opinion. The yuzu matcha tonic was SO good, my favorite drink hands down, so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. Service was ok, not super slow but not shockingly fast either, I could definitely imagine you'd be waiting quite a while though during their busier hours. Otherwise the seating is nice and the AC was PUMPING which i appreciate because we came on a hot day haha I can't wait to come back and try some of their other drinks!

My last visit I decided to also get a breakfast sandwich, since it's their only food offering I figured you do one thing and you do it well. For $11 plus $2 for bacon it was definitely not worth it. It tasted like it was microwaved and I felt really ripped off. I wish I had just grabbed a breakfast bagel or croissant at the donut shop next door. Service was also Meh, lots of choices in the area so I'm not in a rush to return.

The matcha and coffee both have strong flavors but are still so delicious. I love the nutty because I haven't seen any other cafes with peanut butter foam like this. The workers are always so nice and helpful too. There is also seats, outlets, and WiFi for studying.

It actually reminded me a lot of the matcha at Rok and Stagger--I wonder if they use a similar recipe/proportions. The matcha flavor falls somewhere between a light, grassy profile and a roasted one (maybe a tad bit more grassy than roasty) and the matcha cream top complements it really well. It made for a refreshing drink on a hot day. They also have a nice selection of other drinks, pastries, and merchandise for sale. The interior is clean and inviting. Parking was free and easy to find, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid matcha spot.

I've been on a matcha binge lately trying matcha lattes from a lot of local shops. Febe was a little further for me but it ended up being worth the drive! I got the banana matcha and the banana foam had a light flavor instead of being overwhelmingly banana. The nilla wafers on top were a nice touch that made it more like a banana pudding. The matcha itself was well-blended and smooth. It didn't have a strong and bitter flavor like at some places. It was sweet and creamy. The foam on top also had a thick texture that was very pleasant. The customer service from the girl working was really good as well. She was a one woman army taking my order while making drinks! Also the security guy T was really friendly and made the atmosphere really welcoming! The cafe area was clean with lots of available seats and pretty quiet. Overall, I can easily say Febe is the #1 local spot for matcha!

It was so good and definitely lived up to the hype. The drinks are just as good as the Irvine location, but I think this shop feels a little more spacious with more places to sit. I also noticed they have free WiFi, so it seems like a nice spot to hang out or get some work done. The only small issue was that the bathroom door was a little tricky to lock, but they have directions posted on the door so it wasn't a big deal. Parking is plentiful too!!

We ordered the Black Sesame Hojicha Latte, Hojicha Einspanner, and Banana Pudding Matcha, and all of them were really good. The cream tops were especially thick and creamy, adding a rich, smooth texture to each drink. The Black Sesame Hojicha Latte had a nice nutty depth that paired really well with the roasted hojicha flavor. The Hojicha Einspanner was smooth and comforting, with that strong roasted tea flavor balanced by the creamy top. The Banana Pudding Matcha really surprised me. I usually don't like banana-flavored things, but as a banana flavor hater, this is honestly one of the best ones I've tried. It was creamy and well balanced, with the banana not being too overpowering and blending nicely with the matcha. Definitely a solid spot with good drinks, a clean and spacious space, and friendly service. Worth stopping by if you're café hopping in the area.
I ordered the pandan matcha ($7) and it's refreshing. Not as sweet at Airoma's but it has a perfect balance between pandan and matcha flavor. It's creamy and you can tell the matcha is good quality. The service was quick and efficient. There was no line when I arrived and my drink was out within minutes! There are a few tables inside and some people are studying, but it is a bit noisy. I would come back again if I am around the area!

First time here and it was amazing! I love any place that offers a Cookie Butter/ Lotus Latte. They had amazing specialty drinks to offer for both coffee and Matcha lovers. It's really close to South Coast Plaza so if you're looking for a beverage to pick up on your way to go shopping, this is a great option. There was also a good amount of seating and it wasn't busy when I went so if you are looking to study somewhere, this is a great place. The workers are very friendly and very patient to the customers that had a lot of questions about their drinks or if they can make a certain drink for a specific taste. So they were very welcoming and kind. They also let me know the status of my food and drinks when they started to get busy by saying " it'll be ready in two minutes" that definitely made me feel seen and that my order was a priority. It also was very clean inside and has a very modern/simple aesthetic feel inside if you're looking to take some type of photos or videos of your coffee or Matcha. Would recommend if you're in the Santa Ana/Costa Mesa area! read more

Finally visited for the first time with my husband after having this place saved in my yelp bookmarks. We got the Sea Salt Nutty and the Ube Matcha, and both were genuinely delicious. The Ube Matcha was my favorite. The matcha was STRONG, which I absolutely appreciate. So strong, in fact, that it kept me up that night The drinks were also a really good size, so unlike some trendy coffee shops where you pay $8 for three sips and a lot of ice, We actually felt like we got our money's worth. First time here -- ordered the lotus einspanner,an iced espresso drink with oat milk and a sweet cream top, with crumbled biscoff cookie. Half sweet. Fully delicious. It's iced coffee as dessert. An einspanner is a traditional hot Viennese coffee topped with whipped cream. This is the Orange County/Vietnamese/Japanese version. You can also get iced matcha drinks with cream tops as well. There's also a small variety of pastries: chocolate scone; rosemary ham and cheese croissant, co ammon rolls. Vibe is industrial kawai with a dash of etsy grandma. Concrete floors. Mid pop but at least it's not too loud. Popular with Asian American teen girls and their awkward boyfriends, college boys with panda backpacks and the occasional auntie. Service was friendly! I'll be back the next time I'm in the OC. read more
I was pretty hesitant to try their corn Matcha because last time I ordered corn milk tea elsewhere, it taste like a cold corn soup. At Febe, they proved me different. I actually really enjoy it! I am so glad that I asked for half sweet because the corn cream itself. It's already sweet enough and it's the perfect sweetness. The place is very cute and small. Staff is very friendly and nice. FEBE is the best coffee shop to come into this neighborhood!!! They never miss with the drinks, they are perfect. They also make sure to ask about the sweetness level (no sweet, half, regular or extra sweet) . They have a cute small shopping area with squishies and health jellys. They also have a decent amount of seating some with outlets. It's good enough for the size of the coffee shop. I would study here for sure. 10/10 spot. 10/10 coffee. 10/10 vibes. read more
I went to this place on a Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of people there. The barista was super nice. I ordered the hojicha, which I know isn't something people typically order, but I'm on a hunt for a good cup of hojicha latte. I asked for 1 pump of sweetener and I'd give it a 2.5/5. It has good flavors but I think there was too much milk that the flavor of the tea wasn't able to shine. Next time I'll ask for another scoop of hojicha. read more
Went to febe coffee after a nice beach day. location is close to south coast plaza with lots of parking. Interior is soo cute and decent amount of seats. I ordered the iced matcha einspanner which was delicious! perfect cream top to match ratio. The mango iced matcha has mango puree and mango cream foam top. The mango is sweet and not too overpowering. Service was quick and baristas are very kind. Barely sat down and our order was already ready. Would definitely return. read more
I tried out Febe coffee after my cycling class next door, and this is such a cute place! I ordered the banana pudding matcha, and the banana flavoring isn't too apparent but just a slight hint if that's what you're looking more for. They sell trinkets in the middle, and I got a small cat squishy for under $4 which I was happy they didn't decide to over charge for. There's somewhat a good handful of seating to do work until late. Another matcha spot in OC... and this one's actually worth it. The space is bigger than it looks from the outside -- super clean, minimal, lots of light, and plenty of seating if you want to stay and hang. It has that calm, not-chaotic energy that's actually hard to find. The barista was helpful when we couldn't make a decision! They also have a small retail section with cute finds (stickers, little modern lamps, random aesthetic things). What we got: Banana pudding matcha Island ube matcha I really liked the banana pudding matcha -- the cream top is THICK (like actually thick), super rich and satisfying. If you like a more indulgent matcha, this one hits. The island ube matcha was really good too -- I didn't fully get the macadamia, but the ube gives it this almost cereal milk vibe, and you can still taste the matcha coming through which I liked. What I also appreciate is their menu has range -- you can go more fun/flavor-forward (banana pudding, strawberry, mango, ube) or keep it simple with options like double matcha or a matcha einspanner. They also had a solid pastry case -- croissants, savory options, and a few sweets. Overall: * aesthetic but still comfortable * good variety of matcha options * indulgent + more classic choices * good for catching up or just hanging out Definitely worth trying if you're exploring matcha spots in OC. read more
Felt very meh about this place :( I actually visited on their opening weekend LOL so they were doing a BOGO. I got their regular matcha latte. The shop itself is clean and cute, lots of decor and small trinkets for sale. A few tables for seating, not sure how it'd be for a study session though. The matcha was ok, nothing special. Definitely on the sweet side. Kept me caffeinated, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. read more
Came in this morning, it wasn't too busy. The girl at the register gave me recommendations because I wasn't sure what to get. I ended up getting Lotus Einspanner. First, I liked the color of the coffee. Second, cream top was nice and thick but mixable. I got mine less sweet. I enjoyed it. They have a few tables to sit which is nice. read more

New spot as of Mar 2026. Part of the retail strip center with other tenants like 7 Eleven and FOB Fish Grill. Order at the register. They call your number when it's ready. Bright and simple interior with some seating. No cash! I tried the Ube matcha with light ice. I confirmed that matcha has caffeine, since I didn't know for sure. Also split a chocolate chip cookie with my son. Loved both items! $12 with tax and small tip included for a drink and a cookie. Not bad given insane pricing today. read more

AESTHETICSSSSS Place is so cute and my friends rave about it so i was super excited to go. Drinks came out super colorful and tasty. I had my mango matcha half sweetened and honestly it was perfect. They used a jam base for the mango. Lots of different matcha and coffee options - something for everyone! Doesn't look like there are any gluten free pastries but tons of snacks and knick knacks to buy. I will be back! read more
Once again on my cafe-hopping journey, I picked out Febe Coffee to try today. Tucked away in a plaza with plenty of parking, I was easily able to make my way inside. The cafe is quite small, with only about five tables inside along with tables and chairs, and has a more conversationalist vibe than a work one. There were only a few outlets around to say the least. The vibes are chill, and they have music playing quietly in the background as well. I ordered the milk tea einspanner, and service was quick! I got my drink within 3 minutes of ordering. The milk tea cream on top is strong and tasty, and the drink overall was not too sweet! Very good! I did have issues connecting to the guest wifi, so I ended up using my hotspot to do work, which I would say is the only negative thing about my experience here today. read more

I'm so glad this location opened up, much more convenient for me than going to Irvine! My first time there, I got the black sesame hojicha and a pistachio raspberry croissant, and on my second time, I got a hot hojicha latte. I've been obsessed with hojicha lately, hence my choices. Both were so good! You can definitely taste the roasted matcha as it gives off the black tea kind of taste at the end. The pastry was delicious as well. The black sesame cold foam on top went well with the hojicha too. I have yet to try their signature drinks, so I will be back! read more

The team is always so helpful and friendly whenever we're trying new drinks on the menu. My friend and I try to come in early every Saturday morning to catch up on our week, and it's become a little tradition for us. All of their drinks, especially the coffee and matcha, are really good! Such a great spot to start the weekend. read more

I was excited to try Febe new location in Santa Ana. I was able to get Febe special and the lotus einspanner latte. I would definitely come back to try their other drinks. This locations has seating and nice items available to buy. read more
