When arriving, you'll see plenty of seating and even a few comfy hanging chairs. There are tons of smiles and friendly hellos. They offer a few seasonal items and a standard menu of lattes, teas, etc. Today I ordered the morning melt and the coconut latte. The coconut latte is delish and tastes like summer. Checked this spot out since I was staying at the hotel nearby... What a neat little spot! Can almost call it a hidden gem! Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. The drip coffee was great. The ambience was great as well. My wife and 11 year old daughter enjoyed the decor and the food. They ordered the croissant egg sandwich and the Acai Bowl. They kept saying how the food was really good. The service was great too. Everyone from the cashier to the owner were super friendly. I've never ordered a drink I didn't like at coffee nature! The first order I've ever made was the vanilla chai ~ an extra creamy, lightly spicy tea that's latte-style. The spicy chai is a bit more of a traditional chai and tastes delicious with espresso. I visited this coffee shop last weekend for a 4-hour sewing workshop, so I had more than enough time to sample a few menu items. I started the afternoon off light with an iced chai latte with oat milk and vanilla. This kicked my brain into gear for the long class ahead. The beverage was milky with a slight taste of mixed spice. Great for those who are a fan of cinnamon. My second drink of choice was their teddy graham latte. I was in the mood for something sweet, but heavily caffeinated, and this hit the spot. I saw stars after my second beverage and was energized through the night. The coffee shop itself is on the larger side with a connected community room called Flow Space. They use this area for classes, meetups, and vendor pop-ups. Parking is extremely easy and there seemed to be enough seating/outlets for everyone. I will note that they don't have AC, so it was on the warmer side. It wasn't too sweet, which I really appreciated, but you could still taste the matcha--though the flavor didn't come through as strong as I'd hoped. Still, a good balance overall. DRINKS: 3/5 My fiancé got the iced peach tea, which comes unsweetened, so he added honey. Even with the honey, it wasn't super strong in flavor, but it was refreshing and light. One of my favorite coffee shops of the OC area As soon as I stepped into the cafe, I was met with a high ceiling that was a refreshing break from more of the low ceiling office spaces that I had been studying in. The layout and decor is well put together with the napkins, coffee cup sleeves, and utensils being easily accessible and out of the way from any lines that may form. I've also delighted in the presence of board games and enough seating to host these board games! The space is fitting for any who seeks to study with enough accessible outlets within reach wherever you sit. There's also a maker space area right next door, and in a sense because there is no closed doors between the cafe seating area and the maker space market - it just makes the space feel even more spacious! I ordered an iced chai latte spiced with nonfat milk. It came out to be $6 for a large cup size. I took one sip and all my worries for the day seemed to have melted away! Praise God! It was incredibly thoughtful to have stickers placed on the drink so that you would know who made your drink. The staff are all kind and hard working - God bless you all. I want to be back to try the other drinks because it seems like there's a new seasonal drink incorporating mushrooms, which I have not heard before. The time here was wonderful. Unfortunately, the non-coffee drink recipes here need some work. They burn their hot loose leaf teas (I think the timer is set for too long and their water is too hot) so that they have a very bitter aftertaste - undrinkable. Their chai powder is pre-sweetened, so if you want to get less sweet you also get less chai. Finally, their matcha is also weak; they don't use enough matcha powder and/or it clumps at the bottom of the drink. Hoping management will see this review and change some of their ingredients / methods of making drinks because unless I get a full sweetness chai latte, I do not enjoy anything else here. Plus, the shop is usually fairly dirty - dust along the windowsills, crumbs on the seats and floors, and if you spend 30+ minutes in this shop you will leave smelling like a toasted sandwich... not great. read more

They were out of the pumpkin spice cold foam included in the witch's potion but still charged us full price for the drink (cold foam is an extra $1). Coffee nature is a little unasssuming coffee shop in a strip mall over by john wayne airport and it lives up to EVERY SINGLE compliment you see on this page! They have a huge variety of drinks from teas to espresso and coffee drinks, and the baristas are super sweet, and completely open to making your drink the exactly how you want it. They use high quality ingredients and have so many great flavors. I haven't tried as much of their food, but I really enjoy their breakfast wrap a lot. But the icing on the cake is how wonderful their space is. They have a super cool "flow space" for various local artists and buisnesses to hold events, which I absolutely LOVE. And in general, it is one of my favorite study spaces because of the noise level and the vibes. It is super easy to focus, and just all around a lovely spot. Coffee Nature absolutely should be on any top OC coffee shop list in my opinion. read more

There are a lot of great things about this place. First of all, the drink that I ordered was really good. I appreciated all the tea and coffee options they had. It seems to be a proper coffee shop. While I enjoyed my drink, I will warn you all that the ube syrup is not very sweet. In addition, the matcha they used is ceremonial grade, I was told, and thus, more earthy and not sweet in the least bit. With that said, my drink was barely sweet, but I personally don't mind that. However if you were expecting sweetness because it's a syrup, add another to add more sweetness to the ube syrup. The place was a big enough space with plenty of tables and chairs for studying/working/reading or social date. I didn't really look but I couldn't see any obvious outlets. Also, The place is cute. There were even swinging chairs which I sat on and enjoyed. The employee who helped us was very nice and very patient since it was my first time there and I needed a little extra time to decide what I wanted. I really appreciated the kindness in her service. Drinks: My favorite drink is the Chaga Matcha. It's creamy and light, but richness from the ceremonial matcha and gusto nuances of cinnamon, cacao & monk fruit. It's amazing iced and hot both offering different flavorsome experiences. I tried the Chaga (default with almond milk) and Matcha latte as separate drink entities, but the Chaga Matcha wins the gold trophy. For a coffee based latte, the rose latte is a great daily option and the ube latte is a fun pick me up for once in a blue moon since it's on the sweeter and milky side. The seasonal Andy Apple is a scrumptious cinnamon apple chai. We went back for another round of Andy Apple before the holidays! Food: The breakfast burrito is my foodie champion choice. Here's why, I don't eat pork thus I ask for bacon on the side. There is still turkey and eggs for protein with avocado and chipotle sauce. Most coffee shops don't offer the flexibility for adjustments or one has to settle with just a vegetarian burrito. The avocado toast and avocado scramble are sizable with the country bread pure deliciousness. Service: Everyone has been polite, warm and beyond friendly. Lots of parking and lots of space for studying and socializing with friends. There are outlets in some seats so it makes it perfect for long term studying sessions. A very straight forward menu with very good drinks. Beautiful interior with open rental space for small vendors! Loved the pumpkin chai that was party of their limited fall menu. The only downside was the service. We were helped by a male worker and he did look very tired so I understood his low energy.
