Endless quest is such a hidden gem located in Costa Mesa! A good friend recommended them to me, and since then I have been hooked. The atmosphere is very open and welcoming. The staff has been beyond helpful and they seem very eager to get to know everyone in the community, I find that missing from a lot of places. I have definitely appreciated the different types of coffee. I have been able to try there and I look forward to getting freshly roasted beans from them as my new go to roaster! Another point about the community, they seem to do a lot with the local community, which is very welcoming and has such an inclusive atmosphere. There is plenty of parking and it is family friendly. Endless Quest Roasters The coffee on the first visit was perfect. I had a flat white. The coffee flavor was fruity not bitter nor acidic. The milk was wonderfully steamed and smooth. Together these 2 components were delicious. On my way out I tried the cold brew. Normally I don't drink black coffee, But the flavors were smooth, complex and unlike many coffee shops around. We tried the Guava Basil Matcha Latte, which surprisingly tasted more peach-forward than guava to me, but it was still enjoyable. The Honey Miso Latte was on the lighter side--I didn't pick up much of the white miso compared to INC Coffee's version. Their menu definitely stands out from your typical coffee shop, and you can tell they're knowledgeable and intentional about coffee and their flavor combinations. Endless quest is the perfect stop for true coffee lovers. You can immediately tell everything is crafted with care and is run with by and stellar staff. Immediately you are taken aback by the high ceilings and the sounds of active roaster. We ordered a seasonal iced latte and Mexican origin cold brew. One of the staff offered us a free Ethiopian cold brew to try the difference and it was absolutely delicious. We will 100% recommend this to our true coffee loving friends. This place is among the best of the best in SoCal. Rotating single origin espressos, and the baristas are incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Ahmed in particular is the kind of barista who knows what you got last time and is excited to explain how the coffee beans have had a few more days to aerate and how that changes the profile. The espresso is top-notch, too, right alongside Dak or Sey or any of the heavyweights. I'd highly recommend Ethiopia wush wush. Their latte-style drinks are ridiculous too, though, like the matcha-ube and shakerato. I literally haven't had a bad thing here. They have great pastries but no full kitchen (if you were thinking of getting a breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich a la Stereoscope or Daydream). There's a moderate amount of seating and wifi. Once this place gets the crowd it deserves, seating might not be a given. I hope I'm not setting myself up for seating heartache, but I'm glad to join the chorus of people singing this place's praises. My ONLY gripe is that, on a hot day, this warehouse-style venue gets a little toasty. read more

This is definitely specialty coffee done right stopping in and grab yourself a pour over a shot of espresso and make sure you meet Ahmed. He will help guide you through all of their beings to make sure you get the flavor profile. You will most likely love. Don't be afraid to ask them questions. The interior of this place is huge. It's such a wide open space that has the roaster tasting area and on the other side is the bar and some tables and chairs for you to sit and hang out and drink your coffee. What an absolute treat! This was our first time at Endless Quest Roasters, and we had such a lovely experience thanks to Ahmed. We were looking for a quick coffee stop on our way to Crystal Cove and decided to give this spot a try after finding it online, and we were left thoroughly impressed. Ahmed gave us a detailed rundown of their new seasonal menu, and we ended up ordering two Bananas Foster Lattes (my sister substituted the espresso with matcha for hers), an Ube Calamansi Matcha Latte, and a Guava Basil Matcha Latte. While waiting for our drinks, Ahmed kindly gave us some samples of their coffee and chocolate to try (so yum)! Everything about the cafe is 5 stars worthy! We came in closer to closing time (an hour before closing) and were met with the most friendly employee! He explained the whole process of sourcing their coffee beans and partnering with farms to bring the highest quality matcha and coffee to the shop. This is their first cafe in the area, and when you walk in, you're welcomed by the delicious aroma of coffee. We ended up getting a flat white and a matcha with ube foam. The coffee was delicious! Simple, full of flavor, and not masked by sugar or milk flavor. The matcha was also simple and delicious ceremonial grade. We will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu! The fun thing about EQ is that their beans are constantly changing, so you probably won't have the same coffee beans twice! Both times I was astounded by the flavor notes in the coffee. I tried the Ethiopian pour over, which was such a treat. My boyfriend got a flat white with the Costa Rican beans which was also great. Recently, we both got mochas, one with Ethiopian, one with Costa Rican. We wanted to taste the difference in notes, which was fun!
