I was in the area for an appointment and I love checking out new coffee shops and Long Black Coffee did not disappoint. There didn't seem to be much parking considering the other shops in the strip mall. However, I got some gas and stayed parked there while I ran in to get coffee. No outdoor seating but a few tables and comfy chairs inside to accommodate. I believe I also saw a few shelves full of board games. The gentleman welcomed me as soon as I walked in which I absolutely love. After a quick glance at the menu, I decided on the iced coconut macadamia latte. It was so delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness, full of flavor, and the coffee wasn't bitter at all. I will definitely return if I'm back in the area. read more

Banana Cloud Latte is where it's at! We live very close by and wanted to take our dog for a walk and instead of going to dreaded Strbx we went went to LBC. It is the shiz!! I got the Banana Cloud iced latte! It was a treat and I highly recommend this. I look forward to trying more! So glad they are here - service was fantastic. Ambiance was mellow. I love long black! I've been going to the fountain valley location for a while and had no idea this one has been around for a few months now. The coffee is great, the baristas are kind, this location is kind of in an odd spot. Unless you stop to pump gas or know it's there, you'll probably miss it. The staff here is super friendly and very good at their craft. You get the same service as all of their other locations. The new iced espresso orange bourbon cardamom is packed with a light cardamom flavor accompanied by orange bourbon cocktail like flavor. This is one of those sip in a glass cup drinks that you need to sit and enjoy in house. It's just classy and refreshing for summer. 5/5 stars Orange bourbon cardamom lattes is very similar to the iced espresso with not milk added. I prefer the balanced flavors in the iced espresso but if you need a larger version this is it! WOW!!!! I am such a big fan of banana lattes so when I saw that they had a monkey mocha latte (banana and chocolate), I was so excited! The banana flavor is from a housemade banana syrup!!! The monkey mocha (I ordered mine half sweet) was sooooo good. It was a perfect balance of banana and chocolate!!! I will definitely be getting that again next time. I tried some of my friend's pistachio cream latte and that was delicious too! I'm not normally a pistachio inclined person but it was yummy and I could drink the whole thing. I also tried a regular iced latte, and it was pretty good. But next time I go back, I will definitely be getting their monkey mocha again. The space inside is cute. Parking was okay but can be packed if the area becomes busy. The interior was small, cozy, and modern with a few seating (some small tables and a longer one). The staff was friendly and welcoming as I entered. Ordered my go to Ice Pistachio Latte. Which was as good as I recalled from the other location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on the day I visited, and the interior has a modern, clean design that feels comfortable without being sterile. Requested a single shot as it was inching close to my 3p coffee cut off time. Also substituted almond milk for whole milk ($1). Gosh I really really loved my drink. Like a lot. The traditional einspanner with espresso, short milk pour, and cream top all in one sip was fantastic. I will absolutely be back for more, perhaps try their FV location. The banana latte was absolutely perfect but the chai latte was on the spicier side. It seemed like the peppercorn was on the stronger side and I wouldn't reccomend. Be patient with the workers! I've been to their FV location and Cortado so when they opened closer to home I was super excited. I've been here multiple times since their opening and so far the matcha, americano (medium), and pistachio latte were all really good. The service can either be really good or a miss. Very solid einspanners! Inside is cute and wasn't crowded. I saw 2 outlets from when I looked around the seating. I liked the einspanner latte more than the tiramisu but the tiramisu latte was pretty similar. The hazelnut cream in both of these drinks was delicious. read more

I didn't like that cash wasn't accepted, and they were having trouble with their credit card reader. I really like the vibe, and think they did an amazing job with the interior. Simple yet elegant and calm. Love their classic einspanner, oksusu corn latte of course, but I also tried their coconut macadamia latte this time and that was really good too! Unsure if their melon-flavored latte was a soft launch item that I happened to catch on that visit, but it was super delicious and would definitely order if they have it on their menu! So glad Long Black opened a location closer to Irvine! I've been a huge fan of their Fountain Valley spot, and this Costa Mesa location is just as amazing. They're currently in their soft opening phase, so there's no sign up yet, but everything was wonderful. Staff: Everyone was incredibly friendly! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly. They even offered my family and me complimentary pastries since we were celebrating my mom's birthday, such a thoughtful gesture! Location: Right next to Arco and Pro Nails, with plenty of parking available. Inside: Cozy and clean with great vibes. There are about five small individual tables and one large communal table, perfect for working or catching up with friends. Iced Matcha: Delicious ceremonial-grade matcha. Creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. Comparable to Nook's matcha if you like the richer matcha taste profile. Pastries: Tried the almond croissant and cheese danish, both were fresh and so tasty! Their cold brew was extremely bitter and had a sour after taste. On the brighter side, the pistachio cold foam was really good. Maybe I just got a bad batch of cold brew, because I immediately thought this can't be right lol. I'll come back to try their espresso. read more
