We stopped by ahead of our reservation near by to get a pick me up. We ordered the Golden Ratio cold without espresso and a hot one with two shots. Both versions were very tasty and the turmeric was not over powering. The cinnamon also added another dimension to the drinks. Oddly, the cold version was a bit sweeter than the hot version. We also ordered the Pumpkin Cookie. We weren't expecting much from the cookie, but it surprised us. The cookie was generously sized, moist, chewy, and not too sweet. We finished way too quickly.

The staff at original barista is lively and the service is great. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it's one of the best I've had. I will be returning!

While getting my car serviced next door I was in the mood for some coffee. After looking around I decided to walk over and grab an iced caramel latte. The latte was great and I even got a croissant which was 100/10 so good. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely stop by. I loved how small and personal this coffee shop was and the baristas were so nice.

Been coming here since day one! It's my fiancé's and my favorite coffee spot in Orange County. As a heavy coffee drinker and connoisseur, it's in my top three across all of OC, LA, and the IE. I always recommend it to friends and family.

yum! can't wait to go back and get another drink. i just got a vanilla iced latte and it was great. not too busy and even if it was it would be worth the wait for their coffee. can't say anything about their matcha or food if they have that because i did not try those. nice spot!

It was supposed to be a spot that I wanted to be a regular coffee shop. The first time I had it was good and I came back for the vanilla latte. Next couple times I've had more burnt tasting coffee or very acidic tasting coffee. Overall staff is friendly. Nice spot to hang. Would consider coming back after a small break.

I come here a few times a week and the service is always great and the coffee is super yummy & consistent. I usually get the iced americano with salted caramel cold foam. Highly recommend that!

I got a cold brew. I asked if they had sugar-free syrups and the owner went on me about how chemicals are bad for me. I didn't ask for health advice. I simply asked a question if they had sugar-free syrups available (they do not!) . I thought that the flavor of the cold brew itself was subpar. My friend got an iced latte . He said that it was okay. I was trying to be friendly to the owner (or who I'm assuming was the owner) so told him that I was a member of the Yelp elite squad and reviewed coffee on Instagram . He was kind of rude about it asking if that should make a difference to him. I then just told him I had a passion for coffee and he starts going on and on about how his coffee is the best and the competitors are ruining coffee culture and not selling quality coffee. I get that he's a business owner, but I didn't like how he was promoting negativity and lifting himself up above all of the other coffee shops. The price was reasonable. They accepted, cash and contactless payment. The interior was dark in color . It had a very modern vibe. There wasn't a lot of seating but there was some. I think it's cool that they offer five different sizes . The menu is very customizable, which I like. They offer multiple alternative milks. overall, I did not have a good experience and I also did not think that my coffee tasted all that great . If I was invited back, I would love to review more menu items.

Super sketchy location but all that's forgotten when you walk in. Cool vibes, super sweet barista, delicious drinks and yummy pastries. What's not to love?

If you zoom in you can see the bugs on the counter behind the glass, in front of the food and on it.

Walked in today hoping for a great experience but was met with something disgusting. The front door was wide open for who knows how long inviting flies in which then were all over the food that was in a wide open display case. The cashier showed no concern. I did not see this until after I ordered but did not drink my drink and threw it away immediately. This cashier knew there were bugs on the food and should have thrown it all away long before I came around.

When you enter, the location is huge! Tons of tables and seating. Nice! People are working, hanging out, and enjoying their food and drinks. I ordered a churro latte half sweet and a deluxe avocado toast. The latte was delicious. Sweetness level was just right for me. I don't like super sweet drinks. The avocado toast was also great. There was so much flavor from the egg and bacon and seasonings. It was a little hard to eat out of the to go container, but I made it work. It could easily be shared depending how hungry you are. I love that I didn't feel rushed here. It seems they expect people to come and hang out for awhile. Can't wait to return! I'm eyeing the biscuit and a matcha next time.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

After it took quite a while for my order to come out, a staff member finally came outside to inform me that they had actually run out of yuzu. It felt a little disorganized and off that it took so long just to realize they were out of an ingredient. Despite the awkward ordering delay, the overall environment is excellent. It's a great, clean space to be productive, and I'd definitely give it another chance.

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.
