It was very creamy and with a perfect balance of coconut and coffee where they both complimented each other and not one component overtook the overall flavor of the drink. I discovered 602 Coffee completely by chance! I was in the elevator at the doctor's office next door when I saw a girl holding a coffee topped with Cocoa Puffs. It looked so good that I asked her about it, and she sent me over here. I ordered the CT Coffee (Cinnamon Toast), which is apparently one of their most popular drinks, and it was so good! I'm sensitive to drinks that are overly sweet, and it tasted a little sweet at first, but after mixing everything together, it was just right. Definitely use a spoon to eat the whipped cream and cereal on top because that combination is delicious. Even the crushed ice has the perfect texture. It sounds silly, but the ice really matters! Completely disappointed at my most recent experience. Went in to get 4 bowls and the team made us 4 completely wrong bowls. No problem, right? Wrong. Met with the nastiest rudest manager, who questioned me about my bowls like it was my fault her team made my bowls wrong. I ended up just leaving. I rather waste my money and never go back to 602 again, than waste my energy. Never have I ever been treated so rude and uncomfortably ever in my life. JOES COFFEE & JUICE MAKES A SUPERB AÇAÍ WHOSE BASE IS SIMILIAR BUT BETTER AND MORE CONSISTENT THAN 602. Ask for berries on it and they'll accommodate. Trust me you'll be happier. Used to be a long time goer of 602, but after my most recent experience I'll never go back again. After dealing with the manager I asked if there was anyone higher I can speak to regarding the situation because I wasn't comfortable with how she is handling things and the woman tells me she's the one in charge and the overseer of everything, there's no one higher than me and if I don't like it then don't come back. Again, this is over 4 bowls that their team made wrong when my bf went to pick them up in store. The manager is mad at me that my bf didn't notice the mistakes her team made prior to leaving. Why wasn't her team aware of the mistakes prior to giving them to my bf? Regardless they're wrong they should be easily replaced instead of making the customer the problem. read more

I went here for the first time today and I can tell you, it won't be the last! The workers were nice, the drinks were good, and the food was even better! My husband and I got the Lucky Leprechaun and the CT Crunch latte - highly recommend although we did have to add additional sweetener since it was on the stronger side. We also got an açaí bowl and the thiccc bagel and once again, highly recommend! Everything was so good. There's seating inside (they were bumping good tunes) and outside - we sat outside since it was a perfect day. The streets semi loud depending on the traffic but it was still nice. I will say the parking lot is kind of weird, there's a few spots here and there for the different businesses in the lot so depending on what time of day you go, they'll fill up fast. If you see street parking out front I would just snag it rather than going into the lot since it's in one way and out the same way so turning around is a bit of an annoyance since it's a smaller lot. read more

Been here quite a few times and this by far is my favorite. They have a banana foster drink which is good if you enjoy banana flavor. Take their brown sugar latter and have them make it with the banana beans. Very good flavor profile, very good after taste. Interior has a nice little coffee shop vibe with some exterior seating right around the corner. If you're in the area definitely give them a try over Starbucks! You won't regret it at all. read more

Great coffee! I've stopped here a few times leaving my dermatologist near by. The staff were always nice, it was never busy when I was there since it was the afternoon. Ive had the mocha & cold brew. Both very good. I have a pretty high caffeine tolerance and the nitro had me shaking on my drive home- great if you need a boost! It's a pretty small shop, there are only a few tables. The parking lot is small and awkward, I recommend parking on the street. The stalls are marked for each of the business so pay attention. The cafe is tucked in a plaza and located corner on a public way along the major intersection. The interior is small but welcoming. First time today, stopped by for a pick up. Coffee and the bagel sandwiches are awesome and supper good! Not sure if I was a joke, but when I was waiting the cashier who was helping me asked another employee (redhair girl) to hand her the two boxes with my bagel sandwiches (they were right next to her while the cashier was all the way at the front) and instead of being a good coworker and handing them to her without saying anything, the red hair girl said "don't you have legs?" Mind you, the other cashier girl was helping me and doing other side work as well while the to go boxes were right next to the other employee. This is literally my favorite coffee spot right now and I have been here multiple times. I always order 2 drinks so it can last me a few days. I gave this place one star because their so-called "famous banana-infused coffee" was unavailable again and again ... but once they ran out of the drips -- a major disappointment was they can't make another one. This has happened to me 3 times, where I entered the shop about an 2 hours before they closed. It's actually one of my favorite coffees "banana-infused" flavor. Instead of offering on brewing a smaller size, the staff simply could not make one small batch of it, leaving the experience feeling flat and weird for a coffee shop to not have coffee. Ordered a PCh bagel is was hot and satisfying. I want to try the Thicc Bagel next time. My barista was knowledgeable and very kind. She knew I was a first timer and had no problem tending to my questions and need to see what kind of coconut milk they use. The milk does matter my friends. Very cutesy shop it was around 10am when I walked in not very noisy. I felt relaxed ordering and enjoyed the simple and modern decor. Cute small spot! Swung by to try their charcoal latte and it wasn't too bad! First sip was smoky and earthy and it's a really pretty dark gray (bonus cute latte art)! I wish there was a bit more charcoal but totally fine as is too. Got a 16oz large w/almond milk to about ~$8 They do decaf thankfully for anyone else who's also caffeine sensitive like me. The owner is not afraid to bring active solicitors to this location. On multiple occasions, there have been political organizations (usually two guys and no it's not advocacy for anything; it's always about real-estate and property) who take up tables (limited space at this location) and walk up to you while you're waiting for your drink, or enjoying your time with your friends, or hell-- even if you're working. Doesn't matter. The owner has made it clear this coffee and açaí comes at a price other than what's listed. The baristas/staff are wonderful. They're the reason why I come back, not the coffee. The owner puts them through hell and high water, just to skate by on the dimes they save in using warped and unusable lids, straws, cups-- whatever he can do to save a dollar. It's been noticed. Ive been a customer to this location for about 3 years now, im a local. I spend, easily 300-400 bucks a month, at this location-- alone on coffee and food. But seeing as this owner uses this location as his clubhouse, I think I'm going to be visiting Keane coffee and Moon Goat much much more often. The bagels are flavorful- my favorite is to add cream cheese to the bagel sandwich. Sometimes when the bagel is sliced, the foil wrap can get nicked, so I just give it a quick check before digging in. I recently tried the Tony's Treat coffee, super creamy with spot on flavors. Oh my gosh! This is 100% the best breakfast/coffee place we've tried on our trip to Newport. The workers were very kind and accommodating and helpful. The service was very quick as well. It's a little on the pricey side, as it was about $55 for 3 people to have a drink and a bagel or piece of toast each. The interior of the shop was clean and tidy and adorably decorated. I ordered a 602 bagel and an iced strawberry milk matcha (which was my first ever matcha so I wasn't too sure what to expect) and they were both DELICIOUS. Such a simple bagel (egg, cheese, & bacon) however it was so incredibly yum. It was steaming hot the entire time I was eating! Ingredients were fresh too. The only thing I'd maybe change was the toasted-ness of my bagel; it was pretty burnt on the edges and the char flavor really took over some of the bites lol. On the other hand, my matcha was so pretty and tasted really good! The parking situation is a little bit iffy as the parking lot is pretty slim and slightly difficult to turn into and then park in. However, we made it work and parked in a parking lot a few minutes' walk away. Any walk would've been worth it for this gem of a spot. Thank you so much! Really cute coffee shop in Costa Mesa. The power acai bowl was really tasty and filling. The texture of the acai was more icey than creamy. It had a big dollop of peanut butter which I loved! The granola was a unique texture, it was more crispy than crunchy (if that makes sense) and I really liked it! I got the bowl with no honey and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. :) The drip coffee was also really good, I would just wait a while to drink it because it was served suuuuper hot. The space looks small, but it's surprisingly spacious. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is limited parking inside the lot (probably like 5 spaces total), but there is also street parking. Açaí bowl was good here but super small lot and parking is pretty difficult. It was a bit pricey and I got a bowl to go and they put the lid on it which smashed all the ingredients on the top. Also my bowl had peanut butter and it was just one giant glob in the center and since the bowl was cold it really hard to eat it and mix it in It wasn't the best experience and with how it's not easy to get too I would prefer going to banzai bowls down the street read more

Prices are amazing at $5.00 flat for my 16oz and when I say I grabbed my latte and straw, went to my car, took a sip and I had to go back in to tell them how freakin delicious it was! One of my favorite coffee spots in OC. The baristas are always so cute and nice. The place is modern and simple, just black and white. It's a little confusing the first time I came where it was located. There are two roads that go that way so just make sure to take the one closest to the sidewalk. This is my fourth time here, and the coconut coffee latte is still the best thing on the menu. My boyfriend and I got the coconut caramel latte ($5) with coconut milk ($0.75) and maple brown sugar latte ($5.25) from the staff favs. We've tried the horchata latte last time, and it's safe to say that nothing is better than the coconut latte. The maple brown sugar is pretty good, but the coconut caramel is absolutely delicious. This is the drink that keeps me coming back. Beware, it is very sweet from the caramel. The coconut and caramel flavor blend so well together, such a great sweet coffee treat! Overall, I am definitely a fan of this place. I strongly recommend the coconut caramel latte!
