Love coming to micro dose on my way to the beach! It's so great they have a drive through so I can't quickly get a matcha and don't have to get out of the car. I am a huge fan of their matcha and the different syrups! It's the cutest little pink coffee shop. I got a vanilla matcha with cold foam and it was delicious!

A mini drive thru but also walk-up coffee place. They have a small menu but they do it right. In my opinion, similar concept to in-n-out. I got the Mary matcha and it was EXCELLENT. I strongly feel as though the color of your matcha says it all - the matcha here looks and tastes the part. I love lavender in my matcha and as a result, micro does has gained me as a returning costumer. The line to order through the drive thru is no joke but the wait and traffic is worth it :)

I miss the Stanton location because that was the closest one to me, but I love their coffee so much, I'm willing to drive further just to have it!! I've never been to this location and it was just a happy coincidence I saw it on the way to breakfast... talk about meant to be. Lol. I specifically didn't order a drink because I knew I was going to stop here. I had to!!! I wanted a drink that was for sure going to be delicious and it certainly delivered!!!! The coffee is still consistently yummy and I will always make an excuse to get Coffee Dose!!! : )

Ordered the banana matcha latte and it tasted sooooo fresh! You can tell that they use real bananas and not artificial flavoring. They also gave my dog a pup cup! Love that this is a drive thru as well

Basic Bitch

Thought this place would be overrated due to how cute and fun the theming is but I was impressed! I ordered the Basic Bitch, and while it was basic, it was really good! I'd certainly come back again!

Banana latte

I really like how their banana latte tastes like banana pudding instead of artificial banana laffy taffy. I will say the banana carried the coffee and you can tell the underlying coffee is not that great. My first time here and I would return again if I return to Costa Mesa.

Micro Dose is the cute roadside drive through of the Coffee Dose brand! This teeny store is nestled perfectly off the freeway in Newport and is a must visit! The service was so friendly in the drive through and moved pretty quickly. You can also walk up to a window to get your order taken. I highly recommend the Valley Girl matcha and Bananarama latte!

Quaint spot with darn good drinks. We went through the drive thru so service was fast. Would definitely recommend the valley girl matcha!

Iced vanilla late

YUM YUM YUM!!! I got an iced vanilla late with almond milk and it was $7. It's sweet but not too sweet and has a perfectly creamy and smooth texture. There is a quick drive thru or you can walk up to the window. The girl at the window was so sweet and made my drink in probably 3 minutes. The shop is a cute pink and the cups have little art and fun designs on them. I love this place and will definitely be back!!

What an absolutely precious little coffee shop. It is so tiny. If it could say words it would say "I'm baby". Everything is pink, even the cones they put out when they are closed. Tall cacti grow around the tiny baby building. I tried to go there once after work but they were already closed for the day which was how I learned about the pink cones. But then I got lucky later that week and was able to go BEFORE work when they were still open. The girl taking orders in the drive thru was so sweet and when I said I wanted a matcha with oatmilk she said they had a banana matcha?? and a blueberry??? I went with the blueberry matcha with oatmilk and it was so good bro. Trust me bro. I will be back soon to try the other one I bet the banana matcha goes awffff.

We saw this spot while driving into our lunch venue and were intrigued as there was a drive thru line seeping out into the street. After we finished lunch we dropped in and ordered a "quickie" Oooh, this "Quickie" was good and well worth the wait. It was sweet, but not too sweet. It was a nice coffee slush-like drink . Would come back!! Actually, I'm wanting a "Quickie" now! Lol! Ambiance- no frills, straight to the point- order and go!

Drive thru microdose

Located right across from triangle square in Costa Mesa off of the 55 freeway. You really can't miss it as they have a huge light up Microdose sign and the building is bright pink. Only ding is the parking lot is not the largest with only two parking spaces and leaves the rest for drive through which maybe 9 cars at most can fit through so peak hours it can be ROUGH to get in! Otherwise this Microdose mostly caters as a drive through hence the micro name but apart of the coffee dose fam. The drinks are pretty solid but can be pretty sweet. My second time here was much better as I really enjoyed the basic bitch latte($6.50). The bagels are also delicious here and recommend the OG OC ($8.50) as the avocado mash, Lemmon pepper and cream cheese were delicious! Overall, a cute spot when you need a quick caffeine pick me up in Costa Mesa!

Paloma O.

Such a cute girly little spot! I'm always down for some micro dose specially when I'm going to pass right by to get on the 55! I always get a Basic B*tch Vanilla Latte if I'm being honest but there's always really good seasonal drinks! If it gets past 9am the line is always super long but they're pretty quick, even if the barrista is super busy and doesn't acknowledge you, the person taking your order in line makes up for it, every time I go it's always a girl who's super sweet!

We got the Campfire French Toast and Cowboy Steak Fries and honestly enjoyed both. The french toast was yummy -- not overly sweet, topped with fruit and graham cracker crumbles for that little crunch that totally fits the campfire theme. The steak fries were solid, though the steak came out a touch more done than the medium we ordered -- minor thing overall. For drinks, we ordered the Coco Drift and Jasmine Coast -- the names alone are cute and very on brand. Coco Drift was my order and it was a seasonal item, but I hope it becomes permanent one day. I'm a huge coconut water matcha person and this met my standards - super refreshing, and the matcha and coconut water were balanced from each other. The space is really charming -- beachy and coastal with warm rustic wooden touches that make it feel cozy. It all ties together in a way that actually matches the name, which I appreciate. Service was super friendly too, everyone was really welcoming. Street parking only and there's usually a line, but both moved faster than expected and it wasn't difficult to find seating. Overall just a really fun spot -- would definitely be back!

There is no obligation for anyone to remember my name or get to know me or my usual order, but they do and it's very much appreciated and noticed. They'll always take care of you and make sure you're happy with your order and your experience. They are always attentive and professional. Kitchen staff are *chefs kiss* really good at what they do. Always hot and fresh and work hard to get the orders out and at 100% their best. Never had a wrong order, even during peak hours. Met a few new faces here and it's nice to always feel like this is a community watering hole. If it's busy and the line is long they have iPads to help ease the flow of traffic. Parking is a bit tight but the valet staff do a pretty good job of regulating the flow and other people are usually pretty good about the 10 min parking. I love the turkey sandwich here and the eggs Benedict-- both are a weekly must for me now. Having worked as a barista myself at expensive/ritzy coffee houses-- this one beats them all for sure. 6/5 stars

Their coffee isn't as great (it's definitely on the more STRONG and BITTER side). When we had went, it was very busy and so it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, and the barista's were very rude taking our order. It was disappointing customer service. hot matcha latte 10/10 Smooth, on the sweeter side but not "in your face." Flavoring was very good and matcha wasn't grassy or grainy - very high quality. iced churro latte 0/10 Unfortunately this drink was super bitter and the espresso was so overpowering that you couldn't taste the flavoring at all. The espresso was too bold for me that I couldn't enjoy it. Tried switching it out for a vanilla latte but ended up having the same negative experience),:

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

This is one of those if you know you know places. With so much corporate coffee out there, it's nice to find a place that really takes pride in small batch coffee. Parking can be slightly challenging, as this is a very busy strip mall. But if you're lucky you can get a parking spot right out front. Inside is warm and inviting, great friendly staff, who know their stuff and are willing to make suggestions. Plenty of seating options both inside and out, and on Spring and summer days the outside is definitely happening. To be honest, I have never had anything bad here. I always like to try the different baked goods and everything has been on point. Their coffee drinks are second to none, and I just can't say enough good things about this. I think if I was to open a coffee shop it would be just like this. You can't beat the people, the prices are reasonable, and the service is top notch. Bottom line? If you are in the Southern California area, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, or Balboa, this is your go-to place.
