Love this spot! The biscuit is probably one of my favorites, it has a good crunch, but isn't too dry. The supremo wrap is just like a crunch wrap supreme, but with cleaner ingredients and the barbacoa flavor really pulls through. Would def come back to try their other biscuit sandwiches! The barista was very friendly & kind and gave us great recs! It's a nice spot to do work or just hang and chill. They even have outdoor seating and a pick up window if you need to grab & go. This is supposedly a joint with Mexican flare but the burritos were shockingly flavorless. We had two different breakfast burritos--the eggs were cooked very well; nice and fluffy--but little to no seasoning, very flat. The barbacoa should have been rich with flavor but also no. The carnitas were plain-tasting as well. The only thing that helped was the green salsa. Without drizzling that on everything, it would have been one of the most bland meals we've ever had. We were really excited to try this after some influencers highly touted this place, especially the burritos, but it seems to appeal to a more one-dimensional flavor profile. We also wanted to try the biscuits but it seems they ran out (we got there at 11:45am). We may try it again at some other time for the biscuits but the burritos are a dud. If you go, there is a small parking lot directly across the street from the place so try there first. It's on a residential street so parking is abysmal unless you get lucky with that small lot. read more

Food: You won't find a better in and out type of coffee stop south of LA. Consistency is what matters and HA has been consistent since I discovered the Tustin location long ago. The Costa Mesa staff is so inviting. They also have a strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and how to modify orders when necessary. I love that they offer the bowl option instead of having a burrito. That is definitely useful at times, the menu is simple and straightforward, perfect. Why would one need endless options before coffee, our brains aren't activated yet HA says "here I made this from scratch for you, anything you order will be satisfying." Yay! Take my money. Mission accomplished. Costa Mesa has a fun vibe as well, with an eclectic mix of people within arms reach socializing here is fun, with or without Rufus in tow. The amount of connections to be made from moms, to dads, athletes, car enthusiasts, and everyone in between is beautiful. The way a neighborhood establishment is meant to be. This place has the best biscuits I've ever had! My husband loved his as well. The gravy that they have is nice and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the salsa verde they have. Spicy! I would seriously come here and just eat the biscuits with some jam. Additionally, I got the orange juice! It taste so fresh and I can't come here and not get it. Always in search of an amazing breakfast burrito and found another gem! It seems like I was slow learning about this considering the line however it goes pretty quick. After waiting in line for 5 min I decided on the Flat brown and added cinnamon. This was one of the suggestions so I went with it. It was great and based with mocha and the cinnamon added a little extra which was pretty tasty and didn't disappoint. The drink came out first in like 10 min. I ordered the Florentine breakfast burrito and added chorizo! It seemed like a lighter burrito than a typical one so I thought the chorizo might balance out the flavor profile a little. It was fire in such an amazing way. Inside the burrito is spinach, avo, scrambled eggs and cheese. It came together nicely making it stand out from the typical burrito that fills heavy after eating. The chorizo added flavor and enhanced the burrito even more than I expected and was just the right amount not over powering the other flavors. It was different in a sense that it was filling, yet not in a way I felt like I needed to curl up and sleep it off :) in fact, after eating it, I realized I wasn't having to pour salsa all over it to add flavor. Although, that also makes it great too!! This place is a vibe for sure, not super big inside but there is a decent amount of seating inside and out. Parking is on the street and I found a spot close and there were many other spots around me even though the place was packed. The food came out in around 20 min but I also think I will order ahead online next time and then order my drinks there as they come out faster. Everyone here was nice and helpful! Holy smokes what a SPOT!! We wanted to go to a coffee shop in Costa Mesa that wasn't the place that shall not be named, a quick google search and found we could walk to this place! We will go every week multiple times a week until we've tried this whole menu. Let's start with the shop, it's awesome, such a cool vibe inside tons of fun, the coffee is excellent the baristas are very knowledgeable on their coffee the coffee is fun and delicious! The FOOD the food is INSANE! We split a carnitas burrito and my one year old son wanted it all. It was so simple and pure this burrito was perfection and allowed the tons of meat to be the star, no overpowering cheese or potato's meat and perfectly diced onion and cilantro blend. The rest of the menu also looked insane, they have a whole lunch menu that looks INSANE! I also asked where they get the pastries from... ALL IN HOUSE! They are a coffee shop in the morning but at night they turned into a dinner/dessert concept and the food quality, especially their award-winning chili and beef tallow fries are really really incredible. Also got a cold brew- I will say it seems like the cold brew here is sweeter than most others, still smooth and great. I just prefer a more bitter cold brew I think. Quick stop before work! Instantly fell in love with the place hearing U2 playing as I walk in. Shop has some nice aesthetics with Mexican woven blankets and hanging pothos plants. There's a small seating area too. They have some merch for purchase too- blankets, shirts, random Knicknacks. Ordered a cold brew with ice. They charge you LESS when you order without ice. Came here because is was extremely busy at salty horse & this spot was less busy. I'm not local so I've never tried either locations. I ordered online there to not stand in line & my coffee was made in about 10 min. It was not great, tasted like metal & milk. Also annoying that I got the coffee 35 min before my food. My breakfast burrito was suppose to be ready within 20-25 min of me ordering & after checking up on it twice it took 45 min to get. I had high hopes for this shop as I spent the whole morning browsing for a coffee shop. Now to the Coffee it was a 10/10! I loved their coffee I got the cici special (iced honey latte with cinnamon). I did also get their avocado biscuit sandwhich and it was not my fave. (Reason for 3 stars). Service was alright. They don't do pup cups here which is fine, but food took pretty long to get so I had high expectations and they were not met. IMO, the Sand-which had little flavor and the biscuit was falling apart. It's also on the pricier side. The avocado on my biscuit also had gone dark, I don't know if it was intentional or not... either way it didn't look particularly appetizing. See pic below. Hola Adios is such a gem! There's a parking lot nearby and street parking if needed. I came around 10:40am and it was pretty busy -- seems like a popular spot for people to work or study. The ambience is great, with fun nostalgic music playing while you sip your drink. The staff are busy but super friendly, and happy to answer questions. Since it was my first visit, I asked about their most popular drinks and tried the seasonal special, "Oh My Guard" -- and wow, it did not disappoint! I paired it with their gluten-free banana muffin, which was perfect. The space is also pet-friendly, so I can't wait to bring my pups next time. Stopped by for a quick treat and everyone in our group was fine with what we got. The drinks were decent and the pastry was good. The space itself has a fun, cozy vibe and friendly service. I ordered the cinnamon brown sugar drink and there was no hint of flavor at all. It just tasted like plain coffee. We spent about $28 for three drinks and one pastry, and the cups were packed with ice even after asking for less. Since everything is pre-measured, it didn't really change much. Also, $3 and change just for cold foam feels kinda ridiculous, especially when it tastes more like whipped cream than anything else. That's basically half the price of a drink. OMG. My GF and I visited this place because I saw this thing called a "PACO" - or - Pancake Taco. I was blown away, both of these were effing delicious. These are worth the line out the door! No wonder people come here. I also ordered a cortado which was also very good, better than a lot of other corrados I've had. FUN COFFEE SHOP! Great tasting coffee. This cute coffee shop is not far from Newport Blvd near the start of the 55 frwy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. The first time I got a Coconut latte and my son got a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, which was scrumptious. This time I ordered a Iced Oatmilk latte with homemade cinnamon brown sugar syrup. They make a few syrups in house, which I think is so cool (you can see them on the counter, the vanilla syrup has a whole vanilla bean in the bottle).
