Came here specifically to check out their summer special drinks because it looked so refreshing! 'Matcha Lilikoi Lemonade': this was in fact super refreshing! Honestly didn't taste the matcha flavor that much after mixing it... but the lilikoi lemonade flavor was perfectly sweetened and not too sour like how the fruit is sometimes I liked how quick the drinks come out too! Known for their coffee, so I'm curious and will be back to give that a try!
White Sparrow Coffee is such a cute spot! My friend and I ordered the matcha lilikoi and the house matcha and both were really good. The matcha lilikoi is their monthly special and it was the standout -- ceremonial grade matcha, passionfruit puree, and house lemonade. I'd never seen this flavor combination outside of Hawaii and it totally transported me. Really refreshing and exactly what it sounded like on the menu, no surprises, just delicious. The interior is really lovely and it's connected to a little mini market with trinkets and cute finds which made it even more fun to hang around. Great spot to grab a matcha and just hang with friends. Everyone working was super friendly too.

It's conveniently located in Old Town Tustin with street parking available, although there was some construction during my visit, so I had to park a bit farther away. It was pretty busy when we arrived that the line extended outside, but the staff kept things moving efficiently and were friendly throughout. The cafe itself is on the smaller side, with only a handful of tables indoors, so it's probably not the best spot if you're looking to camp out and work for a few hours. There are also a few tables outside for additional seating. The cafe is connected to a small market that sells specialty items and fun merchandise like tote bags, giving the space a unique charm. As for the drinks, I really enjoyed the iced mocha, it was rich and satisfying. The vanilla latte was good, but I was hoping for a little more vanilla flavor. Overall, I still think this cafe is worth checking out, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!
I got an Iced "love on the weekend" latte (vanilla, honey & cinnamon) - the espresso flavoring was on the stronger side so I couldn't really taste the honey nor the vanilla. I'd rate the latte a 7/10. VERY SMALL INSIDE and not a lot of options for parking. The baristas were very friendly though and made my drink quickly & accurately. Hoping that next time I return, my drink will be more satisfying.

I arrived an hour before closing and there was nowhere to sit, and the bathrooms were already closed. If you're open for business, customers should be able to expect the basic amenities and a welcoming experience until closing time. Great coffee, but the service and atmosphere need some improvement.

If they roasted their own beans, I think it would elevate the experience much more. They get a lot of foot traffic given that it is located in the old town Tustin area. Their Iced Vanilla Lattes are always consistently good and their bakery items are fresh and yummy. My kids love coming with me because they always get a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. And the staff and service are great.

I got the iced version and it was super yummy--the flavors blended really well and it had just the right amount of sweetness. The cafe itself is also super cute and aesthetic. There's a little market-style shop right next door where they sell cute knickknacks, snacks, and drinks, which makes the whole place feel really unique and fun to explore. Overall, it was a great first visit and I'll definitely be coming back to try more drinks!

A charming coffee shop located in Old Town Tustin. Minimalistic interior design with ample seating and moderate level music being played in the background. The staff is nice and fast with their service. I ordered the Hot Vanilla Latte. It was rich, smooth and creamy, the vanilla taste was profound and I love the fancy foam artwork.
Love the mango matcha! My friend and I always treat ourselves to a matcha drink from White Sparrow after hot yoga! We usually have to rush over before they close! Always a great treat:). We were a bit sad last week when we were told they were out of matcha! :o lol We'll be back this week for our weekly treat tho!

There's an attached market selling chic foods and drinks, a nice touch especially for families with kids who don't drink coffee or need a snack. Skip the croissant...it was dry. The indoor table seats are limited and usually occupied but there are plenty of outdoor seats. Street parking only.
Nice staff and there's a cute mart next door. Pumpkin Horchata was pretty tasty and the shot of espresso was perfectly weak so it didn't overpower the horchata nor pumpkin. Similar to coffee candy where the coffee flavor isn't strong. The matcha was very weak though and quite disappointing. Plenty of street parking nearby.

This café is located in Old Town Tustin. Whenever I leave Irvine and take my son to Sky Zone, I usually stop by this place and grab a drink. Environment: The shop isn't very big, but it has both a retail area and a café area. There are also quite a few outdoor seats. However, the California sun is really strong, and even though there's outdoor seating, there isn't much shade. Service: Business is good, the drinks taste great, and orders come out pretty quickly. Wait: There's usually a line every time I go, especially on weekends, which shows how popular this place is. Parking: Street parking is available and it's pretty convenient. read more

Nice staff and there's a cute mart next door. Pumpkin Horchata was pretty tasty and the shot of espresso was perfectly weak so it didn't overpower the horchata nor pumpkin. Similar to coffee candy where the coffee flavor isn't strong. The matcha was very weak though and quite disappointing. Plenty of street parking nearby. read more

Very cute place! Not much seating & parking can be kinda crazy. Would recommend parking in the structure. They had plenty of good looking pastries, but we got the Love on the Weekend lattes. Super good flavor & our drinks came out really quick. Even with there being a line, we were helped quickly. Would come again if in the area! read more

The drinks here are so good! The flavors in their specialty drinks are the perfect amount of subtle, and the roast is so smooth but not too bitter. Small-ish space, but good amount indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of street parking. Cute grocery store on the side too!! read more

I finally decided to visit this spot! It wasn't busy this time so my friend and I found a place to sit inside. Seating is a little limited. But there are more spots outside! We both got the everything croissants and tried their seasonal Gingerbread latte. It was gooood. I loved the food, the drinks and the vibes. Plus there was a cute little market connected to the cafe. We found parking down the street near the public parking area and just walked. It's such a lovely area to walk in anyway! read more

My friend has been raving about this place for a while now and we finally made the trip together so that I could try it! I got the 'Spring Special' Black Sesame Matcha and my friend got a London Fog. We both enjoyed our drinks although I wouldn't say that it was my favorite matcha I've ever had. I would definitely come back to try some of their other matcha options though! Super friendly staff and very cute interior! read more

White Sparrow was highly recommended by a bunch of folks, so we gave it a try one weekend. It's in a really cute area, but parking was a bit difficult to find since they were setting up for an art festival. The interior of the coffee shop is clean and attached to a cute little storefront. We ordered their yuzu espresso tonic and the shaken not stirred latte. To us, they were just okay. My shaken not stirred latte tasted a bit watered down and was a little too sweet for my liking. My husband thought the espresso tonic just tasted okay, and that he's had better. Overall, super cute shop to hang out it, but their coffee is not for us. read more

This place is such a cute coffee shop that has a little store connected to it, so you can browse while you're waiting for your coffee. The service is so friendly and the drinks are so yummy!! We were able to find parking easily on the street, however it does not look like there's a lot so be mindful when coming on the weekends or during a busy time. I ordered their Matcha -o- jacks which is their fall seasonal drink. It was so yummy! I never had a drink with this combo before and it was delicious. It did have a subtle taste of apple jacks, which was a nice touch. I also got an iced flat brown it was simple and delicious! Would definitely come back again! Matcha-o-jacks: 5/5 so creative and complements well together. Flat Brown: 4/5 simple but delicious. read more

Such a cute spot! Not a lot of space to sit so mostly a takeout spot. Street parking is available but during busy times, it's probably a little tough - the back lot is NOT available for customer parking. I tried the Love on The Weekend drink which they recommend to all first timers. Lovely latte drink with vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. I got a hot one today, perfect for a cool fall day. They have the cutest little market next door with all sorts of stuff - food/pantry items, soaps, flowers etc. Take a look while you wait for your coffee! Such a sweet little cafe in Old Town Tustin! The line is long and the space is small with very limited seating, but the drinks are delicious. We were lucky to grab a table outside, which was in the shade with a nice view of the street and the bookstore across the way. The staff here is also very kind and nice to chat with! I ordered an iced hojicha latte which was nutty and not overpoweringly sweet, and my friend got a drip black coffee which was comforting and rich. We also shared an almond croissant that was a bit expensive at $7, but it was a good size for two people to split. I do wish the croissant was warmed, but it was still very yummy. Overall, the vibe here is nice and very family friendly. I think this is a nice spot to spend a Sunday morning! read more

Cute shop, but the line on the weekends can be pretty long. I love the cups and the little sparrow is super cute. The signature drinks are good, but the seasonal ones can be questionable. Avoid the s'mores latte it's basically gram cracker juice. I've been going to white sparrow for a couple years now, and it's great if you're taking the coffee to go. But the shop it's pretty small so don't take the coffee to stay. Only reason that this review is not 5 stars is because I got a minty matcha here once (by the way best winter drink everyone should try it) and the girl who made my drink but WAY too much water in my matcha. She then proceeded to ask her coworker what to do and he said "just give it to her she won't notice". I noticed, and I heard. But overall pretty good coffee and the best place in old town tustin. read more
There was a long line when I arrived and was really excited to try the coffee! The inside and outside is really cute and they have a small little shop that you can buy other beverages and supplements at. The front of the shop where you order your coffee was a bit cramped since multiple people were waiting for their orders. Service was great! Drinks came out pretty fast with the amount of people waiting. Got the seasonal apple drink. It was ok, presentation was nice but the apple flavor was very subtle and it tasted more like spices, cream, but the coffee flavor didn't come through as much as I wanted. The got Hojicha was really good! It was my first time trying it and I enjoyed the roasted flavor and it was creamy. I would definitely get this again. read more

Loved the lavender Matcha! They have several different options that the barista was suggesting so I will definitely go back and try the black sesame Matcha latte! Great service as well! read more

I live far from Tustin, but was in town for a get-together. As one does, I researched coffee shops in Tustin and decided on White Sparrow Coffee. It was a great decision, thank You Jesus!!! They use Common Room Roasters for their espresso, and I got an iced latte and a "Love on the Weekend" (vanilla, honey, cinnamon latte) half sweet. The iced latte was solid. The "Love on the Weekend" was sweeter than I prefer, even with half sweetness, but the flavors were yummy. The ambiance is so beautiful here and there was seating both inside and outside the shop. I love that right next door, basically connected to the coffee shop, is a mini market. They sell lots of cool things like coffee beans, chocolate, dried flower bouquets, Touchland hand sanitizer, canned drinks, etc. Definitely worth a visit if you come here! Overall, super glad I got to check White Sparrow Coffee out and would totally recommend :) read more

So good! A bit on the pricey side, but the coffee and baked goods are very excellent. I love the Spanish latte - condensed milk, cinnamon. This time I got a passion fruit curd filled pastry, and it was heaven! I was a total mess eating it, but loved every bite. Their seating is mostly outdoors, and it's always pretty busy so just keep that in mind. Old town Tustin is so cute and fun to stroll around with coffee in hand, so you could always take that approach. The baristas were nice and professional. My coffee came out pretty quickly despite the long line ahead of me! Definitely worth a try if you're a coffee fan! read more
