I've come by CiC a couple times now and have been thoroughly impressed with everything I've ordered. The shop is located on Glassell past the main Old Town Orange circle, next to Blue Bowl. There's paid street parking all around as well. The restaurant is super cute with plenty of indoor seating, and some outdoor seating. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and they try to serve everyone quickly (especially given how busy it can get). I haven't had a bad experience yet, so hats off to the team. I really like their Maple Cold Brew Latte when I'm craving coffee, and their Rose Matcha Latte when I want a matcha. I usually add their vanilla cream topper on either drink (though I will say they are extremely generous with the cream topper and actually use less because it is very rich, albeit delicious). Their sweet corn cream topper is also good too if you're into that. On the pastry front, I love their jalapeño cream cheese croissant, and absolutely LOVE their almond croissant. Their almond croissant is probably the best one I've had in OC because of the flakiness of the pastry and the abundance of almond paste within it. Definitely get it warmed up, you won't regret it. While this place is still new, it's already off to a fantastic start. It's a hyper competitive area for coffee, but this place is certainly a standout and worth the visit! read more

I had heard that they either rebranded or got new ownership so I decided to try again since they opened a location closer to where I live. And I wasn't disappointed.
