Lydia is a lifesaver! I was looking for a gourmet holiday gift for my husband's boss who enjoys healthy and clean food, but a lot of the "pre-fab" gift baskets in store and even online are filled with sugary or overprocessed items. I reached out to Lydia after reading the reviews, and she was amazing! After knowing the recipient's preferences and the budget, she detailed the items that she currently carried and gave me the best recommendations. The best part...I was able to pick up the gift basket in a timely manner even during her holiday madness schedule. Definitely recommend Lydia if you want to give an extraordinary gourmet gift. read more

I found Gourmet Gift Connection through ChatGPT when I needed a gift basket for a last-minute student scholarship event. I called and spoke with Lydia, who was incredibly kind, patient, and eager to help. She listened to my budget and theme, offered creative ideas, and somehow managed to have the basket ready the same day -- within just a few hours! When I picked it up, it looked even better than I imagined. Lydia walked me through everything she included, and I loved that all the goodies came from other small businesses -- it really felt good supporting her and others at the same time. If you ever need a thoughtful, beautifully curated gift basket (especially on short notice), Lydia is the person to call. I'll definitely be coming back for future events. read more

My aunt and cousins sent me a gift basket from this company when my father-in-law passed away and I had to write a review. It was amazing!! This was by far the best food basket I have ever received. So many food baskets are just filled with basic "gourmet-looking" items, but are nothing special to eat. This basket was filled with the most delicious treats that I want to continue to buy, especially the black truffle almonds and the almond caramel corn which were incredible. If anyone is looking for a great gift basket, this is the company to get it from! read more

Exceptional Gift Baskets here, look no further! I needed to thank some very special people and after determining the usual national chain standbys would not suffice, I was blessed to find Lydia here on Yelp! Lydia is so friendly and worked hard to create something unique /personal. She worked with our budget and created a phenomenal gift basket) with local, small batch, artisan goodies -- and the result is pretty epic! (And another perk is helping out a small business.) so she went the extra mile in every way possible and once it was delivered our recipients were raving. But I didn't realize that she is not limited to Orange County she actually will send baskets anywhere across the country. Now I have a go-to gift basket service and I'm happy to recommend this local company to y'all! read more

I found Lydia after searching on Yelp for gift basket companies that don't just give generic and overpriced snacks/sweets. We wanted to send a welcome gift for a commencement speaker at a university. Lydia asked me in detail about the preferences of the recipient and even asked about the packaging, bringing to my attention that since the recipient is traveling from overseas, a box would be easier to bring back vs. a basket. Her care and attention to detail is amazing. She sent me photos, and my colleagues were all impressed with the contents. Everything was high-quality and exceptional. I plan to use her services for every gift now! read more

I found this business on Yelp thank God. I wanted to send a gift basket to my doctor and his staff in Costa Mesa. I wanted to send something unique. Something showing I was tremendously thankful for the kindness shown to me by my doctor and his staff. I called the business owner but my call went to voicemail. I didn't leave a message because I decided to go directly to the website and browse around. The website was amazing. Several different gift baskets on display. All unique. As I was browsing I received a call directly from the owner who stated her name was Lydia. Lydia asked me what I was looking for and I really had a loss for words because this was actually my first time sending any type of gift basket to anyone. I told Lydia what the gift basket was for and what I was trying to express to my doctor and his staff. I gave Lydia a price limit and she went to work. The basket Lydia put together for me was amazing. I was so excited and overjoyed with the work Lydia did. I picked the basket up and took it right over to my doctor's office. The doctor and his staff were delighted and amazed. This basket was huge and contained several amazing and rare items. It was definitely a gift of art. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of this amazing basket Lydia put together. I was so overjoyed I immediately dropped the basket off. The staff and my doctor were so happy because no one had ever brought the office such a gift. I think we sometimes forget to give or show our appreciation to people who really go above and beyond for our well-being. Lydia is an angel in disguise. This woman has a true gift to bring happiness to those she meets. Just an amazing person. Thank you so much Lydia for doing what you do. If you need an above and beyond gift basket for any occasion, Gourmet Gift Basket is the place you need to go Lydia will create something beautiful for you and you won't be disappointed in anyway. Thanks Lydia. May God bless you and yours. read more

Can't say enough about the positive experience I had working with Lydia. Her baskets are completely over the top perfect. The amount of effort she goes through to source each product and make each basket beautiful makes them worth every penny. I had several baskets that I wanted to send out for New Year's gifts and Lydia planned each basket perfectly according to each client. It has now been a month and I am STILL getting text messages from those clients raving about the products in these baskets. Super grateful I stumbled upon her Yelp page and took a chance. read more

These baskets blow the competition away! Filled with fresh, artisan, tasty, small batch snacks, non of which has a three year shelf life like in other gift baskets. Handmade candles, high quality wine, the "wow" factor was huge for my dad who's hard to please. Lydia truly goes the extra mile, as I emailed her late at night needing a basket the following day. She hustled and put together the most memorable basket! read more

If you are looking to make an impression with a unique gift, call Lydia at Gourmet Gift Connection. Christmas 2017 - Wanted to send gifts to the in-laws, they are spread all over the US, but WHAT??? Decided to send uniquely CA products. Where? How? What? Gourmet Gift Connection solved that problem! All my in-laws were THRILLED with the gift boxes containing specialty olive oil, pasta, flavored marshmallows, flavored salts, and other gourmet products made in California. My mother-in-law was so impressed with her box which contained teas, fancy sugars, and fancy cookies. She was the hit of her local ladies group in her small Indiana town with those fancy goodies! The products were top-notch, delicious, and the packaging/presentation was impressive. The boxes and products were such a hit that this year, 2018, Thanksgiving calls from in-laws included (not so subtle) hints for THOSE AWESOME gift boxes (if you want to know what to get us for Christmas...). I had already called Lydia to place my order. Lydia and her creative and knowledgeable recommendations for unique food products have made me the awesome in-law from the Left Coast. I needed a last-minute gift basket for a neighbor that we don't know well, so I wanted to find something that was unique, but that anyone would be happy to receive. When I came across Gourmet Gift Connection I knew they were the one! The items in their gift baskets looked so thoughtfully curated and interesting, and I'm...a little picky with things like that, clearly. The baskets on their Instagram were full of unique, high-end products from smaller and more interesting companies. Lydia responded to my inquiry right away and created the perfect box for me THE NEXT DAY when she found out I was in a little bit of a rush.
