I love a store that has trinkets, reads and knick-knacks. When you walk in, you will see a wall full of small dried bouquets next to a small area where you can buy different dried flowers to create your own mini bouquet. I was really drawn to the amount of unique finds. I loved the interior as well. I found myself spending a good while not only looking at the items in the store but also the wall art and decorations in the store as well. The Inconvenience Store is a perfect place if you would like to pick up a gift or items to add some flair in your space.

Stumbled upon this gem after taking a pottery class next door. Such an adorable collection of Japanese bits and bobs. Every nook and cranny was cluttered with dopamine-inducing charm. Some of the art pieces were pretty pricey but it's expected for art. If you want to bring something home, they have a wall of bag charms that are reasonably priced. Wish they had a little larger of a collection of items to choose from. Definitely recommend dropping by if you're in the area.

A super cute store! It has kinda funny products like small gifts and clothes/hat that can get a little pricey like a bread lamp that was $200 but super funny. I actually like a lot of their t-shirt and cardigan designs, the shirts were about $40 each and the cardigan was $75. The whole place feels whimsical and fun to just visit but it is kinda small inside.

Very small and cute shop with something tucked into every corner. The items they sell are super fun and random, and lots of dried bouquets! The owner is really sweet and even takes photos of customers who spend $40+ for her Instagram. The only downside is that the store is pretty small, so when it gets busy it can be a little hard to move around. Other than that, such a unique and fun spot!

The Inconvenience Store is a fun, quirky and cute little shop located in Costa Mesa. The items that stood out immediately were their beautifully dried flowers/made to order dried flower bouquets and limited selection of branded merchandise. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that reflects the higher quality of the items. They also sell retro Japanese items and fun randomness. Everything from mini Snoopy cars to water bottles with the kewpie mayonnaise logo on it! Service could have been better- the ship was TINY and the cashier was having an extremely long conversation with who was clearly an acquaintance. It's such a tiny space that the friend and her boyfriend were literally blocking the way out. Because there were people behind us wanting to purchase something. But there were no attempts to stop the convo as the rest of us stood there uncomfortably. After I asked them to move (which, if you're in the tiny store, is kinda an' inconvenience' lol) the cashier did not speak one word to us. That part was a little odd. But it was a fun experience to walk around and see the random cuteness and listen to nostalgic Japanese music.

The Inconvenience Store is a true gem of a shop in Costa Mesa! This spot is located next to the Work In Progress coffee shop. There is a small parking lot with parking spots or also street parking all around the area. This spot is Japanese culture and retro inspired with all tons of unique goodies and merch. They are also known for their dried flowers as well! The shop is on the smaller side but is packed with so many interesting things to look at. The staff here are very chill and welcoming. Be on the lookout on their social media because they also host different art pop ups and events from time to time!

I parked and was on my way to Work In Progress when I saw this store and could not help myself from going in. First off, the name immediately captured me. We went inside and this place is small but has such great energy. It's a great place to get a gift for someone hip or cool in your life where you can never figure out what to get them - this is the spot. I love the uniqueness and the originality of the items here. There's so many fun things to look at from clothing to knick knacks. I ended up buying a hat for myself and one of their shirts. The woman working at the store was nice and helpful as well! The shirts they have are good quality for the price you're paying - they're thicker material and the designs were funny and artistic.

Came across this store when I went to pick up coffee next door (Work in Progress) and I'm really glad I did. They have lots of random things like accessories, dry flowers, books, stationaries, etc. But above all they have really cool Japanese shirts and sweaters. I've purchased a few shirts because they are good quality and their designs are really unique. Also very affordable. The staff is respectful and makes you feel welcomed. I cannot wait to go back for more items.

Super cute store in Costa Mesa, lots of unique items for sale, good prices. Love to interior set up. Cashier was nice and patient.

There was an artist pop-up at the cafe location a few stores down, but I noticed this store from all of the signs. After hitting the cafe, I decided to come over here to check things out. They have the cutest stuff, and you can probably find something for anyone/everyone. Japanese stationery, waterproof bags, home office necessities (e.g., stapler, tape, pens/pencils), clothes, hats, table decor, wall decor, art books, art magazines, etc., there's so much stuff around that it can't be easily listed. The Garfield memorabilia was definitely a nice touch, too. It also seems like they have dried flowers for sale (and sometimes fresh flowers?) Apparently, the hours can change on a daily basis, hence the "inconvenience" bit. But if you check their Instagram, they do update in their Stories or Posts on their hours for the day. It's a bit of a small parking lot, but I think street parking is available, if needed.

I didn't find what I was looking for (something Disney and/or cherry-themed) but I found a cute charm for a friends birthday gift and the claw clips on the shelf below caught my eye because many of them were metal and large. Perfect for thick hair! The cashier confirmed this as well which made me feel confident and I can confirm they hold up with long, thick, hair. It seems like this place does a lot of limited drops so definitely get there early if you're looking for a trendy item. But, it wasn't too crowded when I went around 11am.

I stumbled upon this shop while walking around the small downtown and as I walked more east I questioned should I turn around? Right when I was able to this store popped in view and I had to go in! What a cute shop if you are into stationary and pens and etc. I love supporting small independent businesses so I was determined to leave with something. There were a collective of independent products from different companies/artists that sell their items here. I didn't expect to leave spending $70.05 on 5 tiny items. WAX SEAL ($20) - by Made of Honour. There weee a handful of styles available. Very nice packaging. SEALING WAX BEADS 100pc ($9) - by Fiona Ariva. Variety of stunning colors. WAX SEAL HANDLE ($9) - by Fiona Ariva. I believe this is the standard size that fits other brands. BOAT PEN CASE ($13) - by Luddite. I been looking for a small compact pen case for my very few ones that i own and this was what I was looking for. ANTERIQUE BALLPOINT PEN ($13) - I love this mini pen and how it writes. The store DOES sell anterique refills BUT not the mini anterique refills that is needed for this pen. You can order the refills online on Amazon. So here's what gets me about shopping here. - California State Tax (0.5%) - Orange County Tax (0.25%) - Santa Ana City Tax (15%) - Orange County District Tax SP (0:5%) - Orange County Tax SL (1%) ^^ Added an additional $5.95 to the initial subtotal. That's alot in my opinion! Cool store, with a checkout. Until the next review....
