I was killing time before a dinner reservation and came across Yiya Formosa. For such a expansive space which contained so much cuteness, there wasn't one thing I actually bought. 4 stars for authenticity and 1 super nice employee holding down the entire fort at 5pm on a weekday. Is it always this empty? Are there typically employees in each sub store? $15 drink holder, $8 packs of stickers, $20 cans of tea leaves, toys, boy band merch, sprinkling of Taiwanese snacks and drinks. M2M creative was where I spent the most time. I couldn't tell how much the dog and cat magnets were but they're all so cute! They also had $17 drink holders which change color when the drink is put in. I couldn't justify the purchase...knowing me it'll join my other bag of bags in my car. Lol. Not for me but I can see there being a market for them. Wishing them the best!

Place was clean, nice looking, welcoming. There was lots of variety and plenty of nice things for people to buy. This is a fun place to take young children - my kids loved the vending machines, the arcade games, and the cotton candy dispensing machine!

The service was good. The selection was good too. There's different stores inside. Some of the stores are a bit pricey for my budget. It is located at the STC Garden Walk in Anaheim.

OMG!!! This place is so freaking cool!! The hubby and I decided to come and walk around here as we wanted to digest our lunch a little. We were only there to do some window shopping and just walk off our HUGE lunch BUT with the really awesome variety of Asian stores, we ended up doing a little bit more than window shopping. Lol They have lots of items from Taiwan and Asia that you might've seen online but can't find here in LA. As we were walking we were wondering what this place was about since we saw about of Asians walking around. We were also trying to figure out if this place was on its way up or on it's way down as there seemed to be a few stores closed and some construction going on. We walked into the store and we were so freaking happy that we did. They had so many CUTE items from Taiwan and they also had a loose leaf tea area and a person that would explain to you how to brew the perfect cup of tea. They also had gapachon machines and oh my! The hubby and HAD to buy a few of the gapachon items. So cute! They also had a ramen vending machine but we were too full to try it. Definitely will be back!!

This has got to be the most random yet satisfying shop that we walked into at the Anaheim GardenWalk. Colorful, catchy, and a little bit confusing makes this Taiwanese shop a must see. At first, we saw signs of a "night market," and immediately thought there would be some good Taiwanese food to enjoy. When we actually approached the shop, I was suddenly amazed and confused at its offerings. It resembles a mini shopping area specifically with Taiwanese and Asian themed goods, ranging from youthful caricature merch to old style paintings and furniture. There is a large dining area with colorful lanterns hanging from the ceiling that we really loved. However, there weren't any food stalls as we had hoped to be able to purchase food and actually sit down and enjoy the ambiance. However, your eyes will be dazzled as you gleam through all the different offerings in each space. Definitely great for photos. Since there weren't a lot of people roaming around, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. If you've got time, definitely come check out this shop and soak in the colors, take some photos, and appreciate the beauty of Taiwan.

How does this place not have reviews yet? On GOD, the is THE MOST FUN part of the entire Anaheim Garden Walk. Easily spent the most time here too. It's great for photo opportunities with so many scenic backdrops of Taiwan and there's SO MUCH to look at ! At the main entrance, there's seating and lanterns on the ceiling. The seats are there for tea tasting and for the Yo-kai Express Ramen vending machine. Unfortunately, the machine was down, but I love the theming as a huge enjoyer of Japanese folk horror! There's a prize wheel for spending over $20, so FYI if you check out at the other side of the shop, make sure to make your way back here! There's neat Taiwanese themed souvenirs like very aesthetic magnet coasters, notepads, keychains, buttons, stickers, etc. I LOVE BOBA MILK TEA and there's boba themed items a plenty like the eco cooling mini satchels to carry your boba drinks, a wooden display and stamp kit, key chains, magnets, etc! PS. There's free strawberry milk candy here too! As you make your way through the hallway, you can see small mini-shops along the way, mimicking a street market of sorts. There's jewelry, tea tasting from Yoshantea (there's a location in Arcadia) and each different tea has a specific tea set for it, toys, posters, candies, sweets, snacks, skincare products, a LOT of mini figurines and scenery sets (really neat and a great gift I'm sure), and so, so many souvenirs. When you loop your way back to the front, there's tourism displays for Taiwan including English brochures about various places to visit in Taiwan, the indigenous people, bird watching, etc. Very, very neat. There's also carnival games. One being a Pachinko like metal marble game and ring toss and there's a fortune telling station display too(for a small fee). VERY LONG ASIDE FOR THE GAMES. It is VERY, VERY possible to win something! We played the steel marble game and from the 100-ish marbles we got, we easily multiplied it to 600 to get THE GRAND PRIZE. NINJA DOMO-KUN! So basically you put in 1-99 marbles, press the button, and you get a multiplier (x2, x4, x6, x8, x10), the lower the number, the more slots are lit up, if you get the ball into these slots, you multiply the amount of marbles that you win. We got 99x2 and then 99x4 ! This is the first time I've ever won something like this! Definitely doable unlike actual carnival games or the ones in Vegas. We did NOT spend more than $30 to get this! All the workers are super friendly and informative about all the parts of this neat little shop and experience. MUST STOP IF YOU'RE AT THE ANAHEIM GARDEN WALK !

I went for the first time last Friday and I was excited to say the least. I went in expecting more people, but it was unexpectedly quite empty. There were two, maybe three staff members and they were friendly and helpful when I had questions. I enjoyed looking around the store and I like their theme. They have multiple mini shops within the store that correlate to each other. For example, there was a tea store, an anime figurine store, and even a miniature building set store. They also had arcade games, a praying room, a tea room, and even a capsule toy room. The capsule toys were a tad bit pricey though, with $2 for a single token and most of the capsules costing 3-5 tokens. Just the store, I would give it a solid 4.5 stars. However, what I was most excited for was the vending machine ramen. I didn't expect it to be $15, but I was intrigued nonetheless. It came out within a minute and it was the most sad thing I ever saw. It was just instant ramen noodles and the machine added boiling water. I thought, however, I can't judge a book by its cover, so I proceeded to eat the meat. It was extremely chewy and the noodles were bland. The broth was okay, but not the best. This experience brought down the overall quality of the visit. The dish itself, Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup, was not up to par, with me giving it 1.5 stars. The 0.5 stars for creativity. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but the food left a bad taste in my mouth that was there throughout my visit. If you go, I do not recommend trying the ramen and go to other places around the Gardenwalk!

Pinball machines! Just like night markets in Taiwan

We were waiting for a table at Huckleberry's and stumbled upon this place. It instantly attracted my 2YO and after inspecting the empty store a bit from the outside, we found our way in- and it's actually SUPER CUTE!! It's almost like a museum - or it's got a pop-up feel to it. We ended up buying a few toys for our kids but wish we'd stayed longer to explore a bit more, and perhaps make a cotton candy from the machine. I wanted to mention that this store felt confusing at first since we saw a cash register at each stall/shop and no workers. But a friendly worker quickly popped out and helped us seeing us wandering around the store. He even showed up how to play the pinball machine! Anyway, would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area!

Such fun. I have no idea how to explain this place. It's not so much a store or cultural exhibit as it is an indoctrination centre. Which is cool! You're transported to Taiwan through a multifaceted assortment of activities. You wander around and find neat things. There are Taiwanese Pachinko machines and posters from Die Hard. There are cat stickers. This is the most Disney thing within a block of Disney. But I have no idea what it is.

Came here for a quick visit while at the Garden Walk during their Taiwanese Summer Festival. It was a nice family environment with tons of cute stuff that kinda reminds me of Taiwan and Japan. They have a ramen vending machine which I didn't try, but looked awesome. The little shops where cute to look at and there was always people welcoming and asking if we needed help. Also they have these little pin ball machines you can play with! Cute to check out after a date at the Garden Walk

Recently, I came across them on a hunt for cute bag charms (thanks, Yelp Assistant) and I was blown away by the selection! In addition to tons of plushies, they have a whole wall of bag charms. I didn't find what I was looking for (something Disney and/or cherry-themed) but I found a cute charm for a friends birthday gift and the claw clips on the shelf below caught my eye because many of them were metal and large. Perfect for thick hair! The cashier confirmed this as well which made me feel confident and I can confirm they hold up with long, thick, hair. It seems like this place does a lot of limited drops so definitely get there early if you're looking for a trendy item. But, it wasn't too crowded when I went around 11am.

The only options were the Lunar New Year one. There was also a random softball plush. That was it, nothing else. No variety, no classics, no fan favorites. The selection was honestly disappointing. I drove out of my way for this. The display felt poorly stocked. It seemed careless and unprepared. Three stars only because the plushies were decent. I expected far more than this. .
