It also seems like a nice place to bring your laptop and get some work done since my friend was doing some work while we were there. They're known for their Vietnamese coffee and matcha. I was going to order something else, but I saw them making the matcha with a bamboo whisk, so I changed my mind and got the guava matcha from the sign. It was really refreshing and not too sweet, which was perfect after the sauna. I also liked the tiny ice cubes because the drink didn't feel like it was mostly ice. The only thing I would suggest is putting the prices on the menu. I had to ask, and the matcha was $7. Overall, I really liked the drink and the atmosphere. I've been on a banana matcha obsession this summer so of course I had to try QYN's version. I conveniently and easily ordered the matchanana using their website. The shop is decorated very aesthetically and probably would be a good place to work out of. I also love the nod to Vietnam and coffee bean region with the wooden map on the wall. For my matcha, the only modification I made was to almond milk. The drink comes with pebble ice cubes similar to the volume. You would expect to get in a Vietnamese iced coffee. I was nearby at the sauna spot and saw this place having their soft opening! Upon seeing the menu, I knew I had to try it out. I got both the Coco Matcha Crema and the Biscoff Espresso, but I had my eyes on so many other ones that I want to try out next time! The coconut matcha tasted like my favorite Harmless Harvest coconut water mixed with matcha, which is exactly the combination you'd want. The biscoff coffee at first was pretty bland, but after mixing it with the cookie, the flavor finally popped out. Next time coming here, I'd probably get the Coconut Bac Xiu! read more

It was such a strong coffee but in the tastiest way! - Corn coffee: sounds odd but delicious if you like corn (which I love!) it balances out so well - Pandan oat matcha: you can actually taste the Pandan to matcha ratio! - ube coffee: hooooly strong! This was a nice and comfy cafe with great service but there are different types of matcha and this type isn't my favorite. Popped into QYN after a sweat session at Perspire next door. Saw that they are in their soft opening and thought to give it a try cause I'm a sucker for aesthetic cafes and a yummy bevvy. Got to the counter and ordered an iced matcha latte with an added cream top. It was a customized drink so.. iced matcha latte ($6.50) + soy milk ($0.75) + cream top ($1.25) which made the drink total a whopping $8.50. I get it, a boutique coffee shop is a pretty penny these days.. though the drink just didn't justify $8.50. The team member taking my order barely smiled or said a word. QYN's located in a plaza with a bunch of other businesses so parking can get a little dicey during rush hour, so be wary of that. LOVE LOVE LOVE the drinks however HATE the parking situation. Came here on a Sunday & right when i turned into the plaza, I already knew parking was going to be an issue. Since I was with my husband & son, they dropped me off and parked across the street - which is a pretty short walk. The double matcha is really good but that spirulina matcha is SO GOOD. My coffee tasted extremely bitter and burned, so I called and was told that I could come back another day to have it replaced with a new one. When I returned, however, the manager refused to replace the drink. While it's really not about the cost of a coffee, it's more about the principle and the customer service experience. I genuinely wanted to love this place, which is why the experience was especially disappointing. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that, but how a business handles those situations makes a big difference. I had just gone paddle boarding at Back Bay and usually my go-to for coffee after is Keans, but I wanted to try something new. This place is completely different from Keans, which is more about simple drinks where you can appreciate the high-quality beans and roasting. Qyns had very elaborate and dessert-like drinks with cold foam of different flavors. So many of the flavors sounded amazing but I ended up getting tiramisu. Went to the grand opening today. I was too late for the freebies, but they were giving out tote bags and reusable travel mugs. I ordered the biscoff latte with 50% sweetness. I'm usually a black coffee or americano guy, but I liked it a lot. The cookie on top was nice to start, and I could really taste the coffee in the drink (a lot of coffee places like this put so much stuff in that you can't taste the coffee). I like that they have hojicha options, in addition to matcha, coco, and coffee. I tried my wife's pistachio hojicha latte and that was really nice. Personally, I would have toned down the sweetness. I'm glad they give the options of 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% sweet. $6.50-7 is a really reasonable price for drinks that are as complex as what you get here. I'll be back to try some of the other interesting drinks they have. read more

It's hard to find real Vietnamese coffee in the area because either they make it so small like the size of a shot glass (in a larger cup) or if in a regular cup, it's too sweet or milky with a ton of ice. The ambience is nice and upscale. The service there is also good. They are friendly and nice. The one bad thing is that parking is tough because there aren't many spots available. read more

I tried the hojicha latte and that was the standout for me -- smooth, balanced, and well made. My friend got the coconut bạc xỉu and was very into it as well. They also have spirulina cold foam drinks, which I honestly haven't seen anywhere else before.
