Rating: 4 / 5 I recently visited nudae and overall had a great experience. The atmosphere was great i loved the records on the walls. The place felt clean and spacious and the overall vibe was perfect for meeting with friends or doing some work. I ordered the puka pandan matcha and the breakfast burrito and it was quite good! The flavors were fresh and the matcha tasted good the presentation was ok. For the price, I felt the experience was worth it. Portions were decent and I would say overall worth the price. Service was good they were quick friendly and professional.
I ordered the Perfect Company and omg this is the best vanilla iced latte ive ever had. It's mixed with cinnamon and mild cardamom flavors and it's so perfectly balanced (as the name says). It's not overly sweet, not too milky, and the taste of the espresso is present which is a huge (HUGE!!) must for a good latte. And Nudae definitely delivers. Baristas are also kind and friendly, and the drinks come out pretty fast. Doesn't get too busy despite me being here on a Sunday afternoon. Would definitely come again!
I've been into tonic espresso lately, and when I saw tonic Matcha on the menu, I definitely wanted to try. I've been campaigning all around OC trying to find my new go-to coffee shop and this place ranks easily in my top three. I started with the zesty Bestie, which was a delicious blend of quality Matcha tonic and other ingredients that made it a perfect balance. I also got a breakfast burrito with just egg and cheese, which was phenomenal. The only thing that is a pain point is how busy they are. Even with me placing my order 20 minutes through DoorDash when I got there I still had to wait about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. Other than that, it's a pretty solid place that will definitely be one of preferred places since it's close to me.
1. Don't come here for matcha (there's a million other better options in OC) this was my least favorite. They pre-mix their matcha in advance, so it is in a squeeze bottle. Matcha and the milk begin to separate after 20 - 30 seconds of just sitting there. I do like that they make their almond milk from scratch, that's cool. 2. Chicken Cesar wrap is good / dec. Nice grill marks on the tortilla, tastes like they actually season the chicken, just still feels like it is lacking something, not sure what. Side note: Would love it if they could offer a 2 oz side of Cesar dressing, especially if you're just buying one wrap. Charging almost $4 for a side of sauce because it is in a 4oz container is a little absurd to me. No one needs that much sauce for one wrap. No problem with paying for a side of sauce just consider providing the smaller option so it's not a complete waste. The dressing is good, I will give them credit for that. 3. Staff seem really chill and nice, it is also a chill place to get some work done.
Love this coffee & food spot! My favorite is the iced choco chai and spicy cucumber toast. Delicious . Who knew adding the Asian twist on the avocado toast would be so good, I had to come back as soon as I came back to the OC. It's so unique and flavorful. If you're here you need to try. The only drawback is the parking is so limited and it's a very busy shopping strip so bring your patience. But totally worth it

I was disappointed just because people were raving about it, but I've had better matcha in OC. My boyfriend got the iced salted caramel latte and he said it was okay, nothing special. He didn't end up finishing it. I paid $16 for both with tip and for us to not like it and lack quality, it was unfortunate. We want to come back to try the burrito which people rave about too but we are unsure right now if we want to come back

If you're looking for a tasty breakfast on the weekend without having to deal with a crowded brunch line, NUDAE is the spot!! Even though it's primarily a coffee shop, the food is great. The menu isn't very large but they execute the items well. The breakfast sammy the NUDAE way was on a soft sweet challah bun and perfectly sauced. I loved the pickled peppers that came on the side, they added the perfect fresh spicy crunch. The chicken caesar wrap had the perfect amount of dressing and I loved the gochugaru croutons, it adds a layer of flavor that sets this apart from the typical chicken caesar wrap. Unfortunately I had already had a drink elsewhere that morning but I will definitely be back to try their matcha!!
We were in the neighborhood for our auto tint and wanted coffee. This has been on my list for quite some time and decided to head here for coffee and somewhere else for breakfast. They do serve food here tho! They had a special seasonal menu and we ordered it from there. I had to get their infamous ferrero rocher and it definitely tasted like a ferrero rocher hazelnut drink. The other one was a black sesame drink that tasted like what it sounded. Both were pretty mid for me. Very.... How do I put this.. American coffee. Interesting flavors but nothing wow about it. Bland and meh imo. Pretty popping spot tho. Lots of people already at the shop early in the morning. Parking lot was decent size. Only a few parking spots right in front but lot is decent.

Nudae is located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking, near a quiet residential neighborhood and a hop, skip and a jump away from the beach. I swung by at 6:35am and there were already some regulars and people waiting for their drinks. Speaks a lot to how loved Nudae is! About 5 tables for seating and 2 benches and a fridge for oatmeal and other treats. I got the seasonal spring menu drink, Pistach-Me-Outside and it was really lovely and creamy! Got my friend one of the caramel lattes and she loved it as well. I love this location for its proximity to the beach or just a quiet morning stop.
This small cafe is charming and has amazing service. It was quite packed in there so we didn't stay for long, but I would love to try coming earlier and see how easy it is to get a table. I was excited to see several vegan drinks on the menu AND no upcharge on oat milk! I got a hot salted caramel latte, which was a bit small but tasted great. The drink had a pretty strong coffee flavor and the cutest latte art. My friend also got their Cesar wrap that she absolutely loved. The lady taking my order was also extremely nice and even corrected another worker on how to pronounce my name when they called it for my drink!
Hip little coffee shop off Victoria St. Find this shop in the same plaza as Fermentation Farm.The menu is small but enough to meet everyone's needs. Service is relatively quick for a small busy shop. There's seating inside and a little patio with shade to sit outside. Ordered The Good Company and subbed it with whole milk. It was not too sweet. We also got the house coffee but that was too floral and almost tasted like tea. This is a good spot to meet for a coffee date but not the best for big parties of 3+ people. read more

Small coffee shop with plenty of parking out front. There are an ok amount of seats but I wouldn't say it's particularly big. Chill place to hang out though. This is honestly the best black sesame latte I've ever had. It's the only thing I ordered here, so I can't comment on anything else, but I would drive an hour just to have it again. I didn't get it with the cream top, so it was just the syrup that made the drink nutty and perfectly not too sweet. I ordered the small size which was just enough for me. The interior is very cute and cozy, with some tables along the wall for seating. They also have merch and beans available for purchase if you want a memento of your visit. The staff was nice too and gave us her suggestions when we were ordering. read more
1/8/2026 Matcha Latte - 50% sweetness with honey and almond milk You can adjust the sweetness to 50% or 75%. Good flavor. Light grass flavor, sweet at the end. No bitterness. Clean flavor overall. I would order it again. This was enjoyable and great to order for those on a clean, health fast in January. Customer Service - There were three baristas working. It wasn't super busy, but the baristas were all making drinks. It took awhile for someone to get to the register. They could have looked over and asked me to wait a little bit while they make their drinks, but straight up ignored me. I stood there for 5 minutes feeling super awkward, wondering if I should leave. Parking - Strip mall shared with other businesses including Fermentation Farm. The parking is medium-sized, yet not a lot of parking spaces, ironically. I didn't have a problem with parking, although I came here past 2:30pm. Ambiance - Nothing special, but there were a few tables and seats to just relax and enjoy your drink. Overall clean too. Not sure if they give free Wifi. Did not see anyone with laptops, only those who came with their friends. read more

Stopped by for a quick coffee before beach day. The cafe is small, but has a cute outdoor seating area with umbrellas. The coffee shop was packed about 12pm and all seats were taking, but service was fast. I ended up trying the Big Z, a seasonal special, an espresso based drink. Highly recommend for a quick pick up or to sit and meet a friend for coffee. Also heard the Cesar wrap is amazing! read more

The drinks never miss here! Strong coffee and flavorful, creamy matcha. Def a go to spot in Costa Mesa! Their breakfast burritos are good too. Staff have always been friendly. There are a few tables inside and outside, but it's a relatively small place. There's a lot of parking in the plaza too. read more

I stumbled across this coffee shop when looking for coffee in the Costa Mesa area, and WOW! For drinks, we had the Choco Chai which was not a standard chai drink. It was more chocolate based but very well balanced. We also had an iced latte with the honey lavender syrup. For food, we shared the Spicy Cucumber Avocado Toast and this was SO good!! I can't recommend this enough! I would definitely order this again but one just for myself rather than sharing. It didn't taste too spicy, but the furikake and the chili crunch flavors all blended so well together. There were a handful of tables if you were sitting and enjoying your coffee with a friend. read more
Surprisingly, a good value. I got a cold brew with sesame foam and it was $6.50 for a good size cup. We also grabbed the salted caramel latte, which is salty but needed a little more caramel. Overall coffee is good. Unique coffee menu and there is a nice food menu also. We also grabbed the Portuguese sausage burrito. I like it that the tortilla is toasted and they cut it in half. The filling is also very good and they are not stingy with the salsa/herby chimichurri sauce... gave 2 servings! Parking lot is on the smaller size but we found a space fairly easily. Indoor seating. the atmosphere of the cafe allows for the perfect place to study. I ordered a matcha latte along with a sunrise burrito. The workers were really nice and food came out quickly. The matcha is definitely on the lighter side, so if that's what you like then you'll definitely enjoy their drinks. As for the sunrise burrito, it's genuinely one of the best breakfast burritos I've tried. They have a lot of options as to what type of protein you want. I went with bacon and everything was really light, balanced, and savory. I would definitely come here again! read more
I'm baaaack. Slowly chipping away at all the coffee shops that have been collecting dust in my bookmarks! Arrived around 12 pm and every table was filled up. Seems like a good sign? Ordered their strawberry matcha and breakfast burrito and sat on the bench hoping someone would leave. Thankfully, the girl next to me left and I swooped the table so I could enjoy my purchase in peace. Strawberry matcha: Delightful! I did replace the oat milk with whole milk and that made the flavors shine through more for me personally. Was semi grainy towards the bottom even after a good mix. Breakfast burrito: I honestly don't remember much about it. It comes with chunky salsa (fresh) and smooth salsa (sweet heat). Filler me up for the time being but prob wouldn't get again. Their space is slightly cramped and feels even more small with the morning and lunch crowds. Baristas are chatty and friendly with regulars which is always a plus! read more
My experience at NUDAE was short lived since it was just a pitstop amongst my day of errands. Came by on Sunday morning post-workout and almost every table was occupied - I'd take that as a good sign? Ordered a basic iced almond milk latte with the friendly barista. Then waited about 10 mins before my order was ready. Had a sip, hit the spot, and was out the door. There wasn't anything that necessarily stood out but NUDAE delivered on expectations. Not sure I'll be back any time soon as there are other coffee shops on my list that surpass but nonetheless, was a good experience. read more

I've been craving Chicken Caesar Wrap since getting it in LA and this place has been advertised all over for their wrap. I had to try! A mix of crispiness, creamy, and softness to it makes the wrap so filling. I loved every bite of the portion! If you love caesar salad, you'll definitely love this. The vibe was nice, I ordered a Matcha latte with pistachio milk, and a salted vanilla cold foam. I will say the quality of the matcha was good and the pistachio milk was yummy. Everyone was nice and they got my matcha out super fast! My only critique is for the cream cold top. I prefer a cream top that is thick and creamy. The top was a bit too thin for my taste. This place has been on my list for a while, and it met my expectations perfectly. Allison Kuch mentioned in a recent TikTok that this is one of her favorite coffee spots in OC. She was practically chugging her drink, and now I get why. It's really that good. I was intrigued by their seasonal menu. My friend and I tried The Perfect Company and The Scrooge, and both were amazing. You know it's good when you can't stop drinking it. The interior is cozy, welcoming, and has a cute coastal vibe. It's very aesthetic, especially with the Christmas decor. The barista was friendly, and the drinks were phenomenal. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this coffee spot! read more

My bf offered me a bite of his Chicken Caesar Wrap. I ended up eating the entire wrap. Oops. Get the Chicken Caesar Wrap. So so good. The workers are so friendly, kind, and funny. It's such a homey atmosphere and a great study spot. It has a great charm to it. Ambiance and vibes are great! The Avocado Toast is super delicious, I highly recommend it as an Avocado Toast lover. My friend and I came in on a Tuesday morning to study for finals and it was surprisingly busy!! we ordered a strawberry matcha and the Scrooge (winter seasonal) which is a black sesame latte. The strawberry matcha was pretty good. I haven't seen a lot of places use a strawberry milk over a jam at the bottom but I don't hate it. The matcha was a good color and I could taste it faintly but strawberry was a dominant flavor. The Scrooge was a good creamy latte but I didn't taste a lot of black sesame flavor which was a bit disappointing because I could see the black sesame seeds and powder in the drink. Been here a couple times and their coffee's solid! A bit pricy in my opinion, but their coffee is addictive and comes out fast despite the long line. Whenever I'm here staff is always super friendly and attentive! Not to mention I really like their breakfast burritos-- they're very filling and light at the same time. I heard they're known for their chicken Cesar wrap so I'll definitely be trying soon! Not the biggest fan of their matcha however, first two sips I could taste the earthiness of the matcha and the rest sadly tasted like strawberry water. Despite their colors looking promising, I wouldn't recommend. Overall solid spot for coffee and quick bites! read more

I've tried so many coffee and matcha spots in Orange County, and unfortunately NUDAE's matcha was just a little too grainy for my liking. I do like how you can order online as this place is pretty busy on weekends. Additionally, you can choose oat milk or macadamia milk without being charged an additional fee like most other spots. My husband got the perfect company which is what I would order over matcha if I returned. read more
got the puka pandan (pandan matcha) and a chicken caesar wrap. the matcha tasted great. the wrap was balanced. i would definitely add bacon next time though. it was quick and there was plenty of seating on a monday around 2pm. i could see the parking being hard to find during busier times. read more
Avocado toast 5/5 Bomb all around, super flavorful with great bread and lots of avocado Portuguese sausage Breakfast burrito 2/5 This was ok, I wouldn't get it again. Not worth the calories when it came with a soggy hash brown and the avocado tasted kinda funny. The sweet and tangy salsa made it taste better for sure. Work in progress is still my fav for the price point Caesar salad wrap 3/5 I found it ok, bae really liked it. I liked it more when I bit into the cheesy parm parts, but it didn't taste overly dressed, yet nothing really stood out about it. Avocado toast with chili oil 3/5 It was fine, prolly wouldn't get it again. Even tho I love the combo of flavors with the cucumber and chili oil, something about it is "ok" Earl grey latte with pistachio milk 4/5 This is good, not amazing. It has a strong earl grey flavor and the pistachio milk makes it nondairy with a hint of thickness. I subbed honey for my own stevia. Service 5/5 The people that work here are very friendly and will change anything you don't like. First time will be the last time for me after my experience yesterday. I placed an order via DoorDash thinking it would be ready by the time I arrived some 20+ minutes later. Turns out it wasn't. 3 customers who came after me in-person and ordered their items got their drinks before I did and left. I just stood there dumbfounded. The barista filled up the cup of ice and left it there until the 3 other orders were fulfilled too. I could literally see the melting ice water pooling on the bottom of the cups. The drinks weren't even filled all the way to the top and tasted like crap. It had green coloring and pink colorings. Yes. Looking like a proper matcha latte of sort. Did it taste like one? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Instagram worthy but just without the good taste to go with it. Crazy all I tasted was straight up sugary milk........and I didn't even leave the store until some aeons later. That's a lot of waiting especially given the fact that I placed the order online, gave it 20 minutes prior to my arrival, and walking out some 30 minutes later. That's nearly a whole freaking hour. And the snarky snooty attitude of the associates there? Totally uncalled for. I'm the one who wasted time literally waiting. Not my fault nobody got around working on my order so you can just hand it to me. Also not my fault there's nowhere for me to sit as all the tables were occupied. What on earth did you want me to do about it? Sit on the toilet and wait? The visit would have been somewhat redeeming if the actual drinks tasted good. Came here for the chicken Cesar wrap and it did not disappoint. The filling itself was delicious with an appropriate amount of dressing and chicken. Everything I hope a chicken Cesar wrap would be. But what stood out was the flour tortilla they used for the wrap. It tasted fresh and homemade - kind of reminded me of a scallion pancake. I also got a strawberry matcha which was mid and nothing crazy - but looked really pretty! For studying, the space is pretty small with minimal seating - so not quite the best study spot as many people are sitting to eat and chat as well. The service wasn't bad but not great. i really really really like their breakfast sandwich! their brioche bun is so soft and buttery, and pairs nicely with the slightly spicy sauce. definitely a must get! the space has a lot of natural sunlight and decorated with cool vinyls throughout the store. very artsy and bright cafe, service was great too! read more

Can I bring my cats here? I have two savanah/bengal cats that I take with me everywhere. They are in a stroller and hypoallergenic. Curious your take on animals inside the store.
