Was looking for a nice new coffee place to try and stumbled upon this one. I have heard good things so I wanted to check it out with a friend of mine. I wasn't able to get a good picture of the inside since there were a lot of people sitting and I didn't want to make them uncomfortable but there are tables (like maybe 5 or so?) with a bench side and then a chair side. The baristas are kind and can answer any questions you have, of course. And they were incredibly quick with our drinks. The drinks are sooooo incredibly gorgeous and they taste good too. They're on the pricier side but it's top notch just with presentation alone. I got the strawberry matcha and this is one of the prettiest ones I have had since it has the freeze dried strawberries on top. Lots of parking too, so no worries there. read more

Cute coffee shop in the corner of this busy plaza. I would note there is a line that goes out the door but that's due to the small space inside, has a few tables to enjoy your drink and pastry. Overall the place has a neat selection of drinks, unique specials during the season I've only tried their Ferraro Roche drink (iced) and it definitely tastes like the chocolate. i wouldn't order a specialized matcha here again. waaay too sweet, i didn't end up finishing it. my mom also ordered an iced coffee, which she also stated was too sweet and ended up throwing away as well. i learned later on through online ordering, that you can alter the sweetness of the drinks. next time i will try that. ive also ordered a chai here, it was verryy spicy, maybe needed more milk but i had to throw that one out too. all around it's not extremely horrible, but it also hasn't been to my liking, there's something off with the proportions of flavoring. there are some things i'd like to try out and maybe update my review another time. the staff is very kind whenever i've spoken to them and they seem to really care about the quality of the items coming out, for that i'll come back and try it again later. read more

I tried Nudae Coffee and overall had a good experience. I ordered two of their holiday drinks. The Ferrero Rocher latte was really good and definitely my favorite. It tasted rich and chocolatey without being overly sweet. The Sweater Weather drink was more tea based and not really my personal preference, but I can see how tea lovers would enjoy it! The space was clean, parking was easy, and it wasn't busy when I went around 10am on a weekday, which was nice. The only slightly awkward part was when I first walked in. I smiled and said hi when I entered, but no one responded, I ended up standing there a while before anyone said anything to me. It didn't feel super welcoming at first compared to other coffee shops. That said, the barista was friendly once I picked up my drink! Overall, I'd still be open to giving it another try, especially since I liked the ferrero rocher latte and i've heard they have good food! read more

A small cozy coffee shop nestled in an unassuming strip mall in Costa Mesa. It gets pretty busy on the weekend, so expect a short line. The decor and vibe are clean and chill. The space inside is small and cozy, and there are a few tables outside. We got the Sunrise Burrito with Bacon ($15) and the Pork Adobo Banh Mi Panini ($14) for food. Both were fresh and yummy. Quality and taste definitely are superior than a lot of other cafes. Drinks wise we got a latte and a strawberry matcha latte. They were pretty good too. The strawberry matcha looked so pretty and came with freeze dried strawberry toppings, which was unique. The amount of times we have driven by this place and never been is quite a tragedy seeing as how much we enjoyed ourselves. We went on a Saturday and although we waited a bit, we found a table right away since most of those who ordered took it to go. We tried perfect company (yum), this cranberry orangey tea situation (also yummy but on the seasonal menu) and the breakfast sandwich which was absolutely delicious and I'd go back just for the sandwich although I fear it was also a season situation. Third Visit - Ended up getting the strawberry matcha. Honestly way better than I expected and definitely better than a lot of places I have tried. The color was really clean, the flavor was on point, and the little strawberries they put on top were a nice touch. Just made it look and taste that much better. I was originally going to get the blueberry matcha and it broke my heart a little when they told me they do not have it anymore. Lowkey the strawberry did not fully make up for it but it was still good and I would definitely recommend it if you are stopping by. This was on their seasonal menu, but I hope they make it permanent. - spicy cucumber avocado toast: 8.9/10. Also delicious. I love how they added spicy, pickled cucumbers and furikake to add an asian twist on avocado toast. The pickled cucumbers pair nicely with the avocado and add a good crunch. - sunrise burrito: 8.8/10. Also yummy! The burrito is a pretty normal breakfast burrito. Can't go wrong with it. This was still yummy, but I prefer the other two food options as they are very unique and interesting. All of their food was so delicious though, it would be hard to choose just one. - perfect company: 6.9/10. Not a big fan. Tasted watered down. Would prefer more coffee flavor. - perfect company (matcha sub): 6.9/10. A friend and I came here one morning and it hit. We got the: * Strawberry Matcha Latte- it originally comes with oat milk, but you can change it if you'd like. We got one with oat milk and one with regular, whole, milk. We both liked it a lot! The matcha and strawberry combo had the matcha coming through a little more subtly than the strawberry. At first, the oat milk felt too oaty and nutty for me, which is usually why I don't opt for it. After a few sips though, I got used to it and I liked it more! I lowkey liked the one with whole milk a bit better, but my friend who got that one liked mine with oat milk more Safe to say that both are good * Sunrise burrito- it comes with bacon too, but we got it without. This was a delicious breakfast burrito! The eggs were soft and flavorful, the hashbrowns added a nice texture, and the garlic sauce was yummy too! This was pretty filling. It's a great item for a nice casual breakfast. * Nudae Breakfast Sammy- This was really good too! The brioche bun was soft but had a slight sweetness to it, as brioche bread does, and the contents inside were also good. It was pretty much eggs, sauce, and cheese. This is a great option for a lighter, simple, breakfast item that still tastes great. We highkey split the sandwich and burrito in half and shared both, and we basically ended up sharing the drinks too LOL I love doing that Their menu is also decently big for a small cafe like it is! They have quite a few other food options and a lot of unique drinks as well. The seating inside and on the patio is somewhat limited, but since we went on a weekend it was more busy. There's a park across the street that we ended up walking to and eating at, and it was really enjoyable! They have a few tables and benches. I've been to Nudae about 3-4 times now, and overall, I'd say it's a mixed experience. Their matcha is super inconsistent -- I've had one that was really good, one that was just okay, and two that honestly missed the mark. The worst one tasted like watery milk with just a hint of matcha, which was super disappointing. On the bright side, their salted caramel latte is a hit -- my boyfriend loves it and always goes for that one. I've also tried "The Perfect Company" drink; I wouldn't say it was bad, but it's just not my kind of flavor. Food-wise, they're solid. I've had some of their seasonal bites which are fun to try, and the sunrise burrito (which I think is a regular item) is always a good choice. I also appreciate that they rotate their menu and offer seasonal drinks and dishes -- it keeps things interesting. Customer service has always been good, and the space itself is cute and welcoming. We came here during thanksgiving day and was surprised that they were open with a line out the door. They were definitely busy for a holiday with some seating indoor and outdoors. I got the iced cookie butter capp and the perfect company. The cookie butter was great! It had little crumbs of biscoff cookie on top and it was super creamy. The perfect company was alright...it wasnt too sweet and was a bit watered down. It had cocoa and cinnamon which helped balance out the drink. My husband also got the burrito. He said it wasnt crispy enough and a bit on the soggy side. Overall, the experience was really nice and the drinks were made well. one of my ALL TIME favorites. As a usual Portland coffee shop reviewer, this place really reminded me of some Portland stuff. Great coffee, excellent pastries and really good burritos. The seating area is small but I can almost always find a table. Usually come here on double dates and it's always a great place to hang around. I came on a Sunday at around 10 and was a little disheartened initially because there was a line out the door, but the service was quick considering how busy they were. There was actually plenty of parking in the plaza they're located. The shop is a little small, but I was surprised that there were a good amount of tables and even got to sit down. I loved the holiday decor too! I ordered fron their seasonal menu. The Scrooge was exactly what I wanted in a black sesame latte. The cold foam was a great touch, and I think the oat milk pairs nicely with the flavors. I got my partner the Ferrero Rocher to-go, and I believe he enjoyed it as well! The chocolate pumpkin cookie fulfilled my chocolate craving completely. I'm also a huge fan of anything pumpkin. The texture of the cookie is the perfect chewy but crispy in between I love. Lastly, I got the Sunrise Burrito with bacon. I LOVE a crispy hash brown in my burrito, but where this burrito really gets extra points is both the salsa in the burrito and the two extra salsas you get on the side (both delicious, I love how one is chunkier while the other is slightly sweet and more runny). I love salsa, and I love options. I would have finished it all if I weren't feeling generous and wanted to share how good it was with my partner. I also found half was fulling enough for me. Spontaneously dropped by this coffee shop after a nearby DMV appointment and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I ordered a fun drink that had a unique taste - not too sweet, not too bitter, but just right. It's something I would definitely order again. As for "The Sausage" burrito, now THIS did not disappoint. This was probably one of the best burritos I've had from a coffee shop, as most burritos disappoint me with their miniscule size or lack of flavor. This is one of my favorite coffee places in OC! It's a small coffee shop in a little shopping center. There's usually parking when I go during the week. They have some cute wall decor, merch, and a fridge filled wirh a variety of snacks from different vendors. I've never had any problems with the taste of my drinks, even when I order on DoorDash. The review I am giving is simply for their burrito, because I have not tried the coffee that does look very good. However, the burrito that was hyped up seemed to fall a bit short in my opinion. I got the High Noon Burrito that had Portuguese sausage, eggs, hashbrown, pickled onions avocado, and came with two sauces. It sounded like my dream burrito, but unfortunately there were a few things that let me down. The hashbown was soggy and not crispy at all, there were more pickled onions than anything else that really took over the entire burrito (the flavor was overbearing and I actually love pickled onions too), and one of the sauces was so so sweet it was a bit confusing because it did not go well together. Overall, the flavor is not bad but I cannot eat it without the salsa verde on the side. The tortilla they use is delicious by the way. Next time, I am definitely going to try the other one that is more popular and try their coffee. I love the interior and it is very bright and neutral in here. I will update or come back to this review in the future and most likely give it a better score. read more
