Review 57/365 Day Challenge Came here on Easter weekend. Located inside Loaded Cafe. It's like a dessert/Bakery area that's part of the restaurant. Associate was really friendly & nice. Received our items in a timely matter. Grabbed 2 Panecito original. The Mexican sweet bread isn't too heavily sweeten. They have a lot of varieties and flavor. Have delicious looking cakes too that includes cinnamon roll along w strawberry shortcake . I'd love to return one day to grab a Mexican cake. The conchas and coffee are delicious, I can definitely see myself coming back to try more. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering through DoorDash. I placed a DoorDash order as a Valentine's Day treat for my coworkers (three coffees and two conchas) and chose this spot thinking it would be the most efficient option. When I arrived, the young employee seemed unsure about my order and asked how I had placed it. After I explained it was through DoorDash, she went to the register, pulled out a tablet, and manually entered the order while I waited. Unfortunately, this meant my order hadn't been started ahead of time, and I ended up being late for work despite ordering in advance. Located in the back of Loaded Cafe, I was in the mood for something sweet and decided to give My Panecito a try. They have a variety of cookies and cakes on display, along with their conchas. There were 8 different concha flavors, all which sounded delicious, but I ultimately decided to grab their Vanilla Concha ($2.35). The concha came out warm and was delicious, especially with the sweet crispy crunch of the cookie-like crust on top. Saturday lunch, stopped by out of curiosity as there's was a lot of people inside and out. The location is split into a takeout cafe to the right and a dine in to the left. I've only had a few conchas in my life and previously wasn't a huge fan as they were dense and dry but this place redefined what a concha should be. Ordered the cinnamon roll and cookies and cream. They store them warm. Both were soft, sweet and delicious. Overall great sweets, they have a lot of cakes and drinks that are probably worth a try. read more

This place has been all over my social media and I just had to come try it! I love conchas, they are my guilty pleasure. This place has lots of options and the conchas are served warm. I was very pleased with the quality and taste. They are very sweet so if you have a sweet tooth, then you'll love them. I made the mistake of thinking these were stuffed. I came very excited to get some for myself, my husband, a friend of mine, and one of my students. I ended up getting my student a box of four and when he opened the box, he called them "like Crumbl but Mexican" so I guess that's the win coming from a 14-year-old. I gave one of my friends a strawberry one. My husband and I each ate half of cookies and cream and the Dubai chocolate. I liked it OK. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was quick and friendly. It is located inside the loaded café. Parking was easy as well. In terms of cost and the drive for me to come out to here, I don't think I would be coming out here again specifically just for pan dulce. Their location is convenient enough that I drive by the freeway, and they're only a mile from my hairstylist. I would probably consider them again after my next hair appointment. read more

My wife got me to stop by here, someone she follows on social media had say to come take a look and so we had to come take a look. They seem to always be making more through out the day for the conchas. The staff was very nice and welcoming when we walked in there, it's within a loaded cafe so it was a bit different especially going when the restaurant was closed but the pan was open. The food was good they have drinks, everything is very bright, so it's on brand and I very much like it. It is very well light, only thing was no real sitting area because don't want to dirty the seats from the closed restaurant. The colors they use within the pan area is a nice touch, gives it something different but also teaming up with another business can help both of them for sure. read more

Oh my! The cafe con leche is good!!! It's just perfect for that night... Went home with carrot cake slice, AND!!! THE ICING!!!! I am fighting with my kids for the icing!!! Decided to stop in and check this place out after hearing much about it. Located inside Loaded Cafe, this place holds its own. Once you enter Loaded Cafe, follow the pink pathway to My Panecito. This place has the best pan hands-down! Soft, amazing taste, the best I've tasted in a while. We don't get a five star, for two things. The first thing, customer service. It always seems the times I go and take a trip to get these delicious pan, there's always employees that never smiling, welcoming, kind of like they're just there to do a job. No patience, or any type of effort to help navigate to a decision on ordering. The second is the drinks. I finally got to try this place out. I have been seeing the reels and stories of the Bellflower location and knew i had to visit. I mean who doesn't love gourmet conchas and Mexican inspired desserts and drinks. The location in Placentia is inside the Loaded Cafe. I got to the location right when it opened so I can buy a box to take to work. Staff was great and was pretty excited I was there and there was no line, something I was worried about. I ended up buying the box of 6 treats because only the vanilla, strawberry krunch, cookies n cream, and churro scone were available since I was there right at 7am. OMG....the strawberry krunch is so yummy. The bread itself is so soft and fluffy. The strawberry krunch atop the concha is immaculate and reminds me of a strawberry shortcake. I have yet to try the other ones but I am sure they are great. I also ordered the Horchata Latte and a pack of strawberry polborons and they are soft with a little crunch, another favorite. I think I will pass on the latte but there are some other flavors I would love to try. I've seen reels on IG featuring My Panecito's Gardena location and everything looked great! Didn't know about this one until I came to try Loaded Cafe for breakfast a couple weeks back, which was a total failure. Loaded Cafe offers all guests conchas baked fresh daily from My Panecito but we never got some so I had to try out one of their signature conchas myself after our meal. I went with their Caramel Apple Crumble Concha. Overall, it had the perfect amount of sweetness and was delicious! The only negative was that they had a small layer of fresh, warm, and gooey caramelized apples on top of the concha held down by a small piece of parchment paper that did not come off so I had to use my hands to remove the paper, which made it very messy. So good I've been back twice! I highly recommend the strawberry krunch and apple pie conchas! They're about $4 and their ginormous goodness is worth every cent. Their pan dulce has a crunchy, sweet exterior that is unlike any other I've tried. We've also sampled the cinnamon roll, cookies and cream, and guava pastries, which were also tasty. While I wasn't a fan of the cafe de olla frappe (too bitter), I did enjoy the same variety as a latte. I wish I didn't have to walk through the busy cafe to get to the bakery in back, but there is only one entrance. Been wanting to try the conchas the this place for quite some time now. The staff was so helpful and kind as my daughter and I made our choices for the Fiesta pack. The bakery located in Loaded Cafe (need to try one day) and had a nice display of their baked goods, cakes and cookies. The vibrant colors makes the establishment welcoming. We ordered 12 different flavors of concha. From strawberry, churro, Dubai, chocolate. They were nicely packed in the box and warm. I wish we could have eaten some right then. Nice and fresh too. I ordered a dozen and completely forgot how big they were and how unique the toppings got. And to my surprise I was handed the biggest box ever. But the conchas were WARM. I could feel them through the box. Transported them about 20ish min away and they survived the trip! Might I add they were still a bit warm and delicious. Little hidden jem is located inside a restaurant that closes early. So at 1st we thought they were closed. We walked into a closed restaurant with the lights off and were going to walk out but to the right we seen the little bakery. Once we got to the back it was perfect! She looks towards the back and doesn't say anything to me, finally an underage boy comes out and provides latte. Situated in the back of the main restaurant just follow the signs. I'm a sucker for good concha's, and I'm really critical. Although their's are about 3 times the price of your local panaderia, they blow them away and are well worth the extra cost. I had the apple pie, strawberry crunch, and vanilla and none of them disappointed. The bread is very dense which is the opposite of most concha's of lesser cost, you can tell the quality here, nice chew. The dulce de leche coffee was good a bit on the sweeter side but smooth and good no less. I'll be back for sure. read more
