I want to shout out the staff that was working last night around 4:30pm. I came in last minute wanting some cupcakes to do a private gender reveal with my husband. The girl at the front counter helped make shift a gender reveal cream puff instead. There was also a gentleman there who helped as well. And of course they told me their names but I completely forgot. But they were both so sweet and kind. Also the cream puffs were amazing. I have been coming to this bakery since they opened and love all their treats, but the staff and service is even better!
Oh my goodness!!!! This was the BEST CAKE EVER. I wanted a strawberry cake like their individual ones for after my daughter's dance recital (strawberry is her favorite). I was just planning to buy a few individual ones since it was the day before I needed it but the woman I spoke with said I could order a 6 inch for $32 which would feed 6-8 people. PERFECT! I was honestly a little skeptical since I ordered it the day before, but it was AMAZING. The pick up was so easy and it was boxed up well. They also gave me a little serving knife which was great. The cake was absolutely beautiful and most importantly it was delicious!! So light and fluffy and had an incredible amount of strawberry flavor without being too overly sweet. Everyone said it was the best cake they've ever had. I will be back for all of my future cakes.
Love this bakery and it's so close to home. I discovered this establishment while I was in the plaza getting a manicure. They have so many amazing special treats and coffees, teas etc etc. There is indoor dining area if you choose to enjoy your dessert there. There is ample parking and staff here is always wonderful. Love love it here!!
Bottom Line Up Front: If you're craving premium desserts, and willing to pay premium prices, Choco will satisfy your sweet tooth. Food: I've been here a few times but this review will focus on the 3 things I order last: chocolate roll cake, Dubai cheesecake, vanilla latte. I'm not big into roll cakes but tried the chocolate version based on the cashier's recommendation (she said it's one of the most popular). It was soft and moist, and while I was in love with it, I think roll cake fans will be impressed. The Dubai cheesecake was delicious! The outer chocolate layer was thick and tasty while the inner cheesecake was firm and creamy. It didn't have a tremendous amount of pistachios or filo (essential ingredients in Dubai chocolate), but still just enough to qualify as Middle Eastern inspired. Last but not least, the vanilla latte was a solid coffee. The barista went out of her way to make it with condensed milk because I mentioned my Dad (who drank it) preferred Vietnamese iced coffee. Not quite the same, but their drink was still satisfying, according to my Dad. The Setting: The store is neat, clean, and nicely organized. It's not the biggest, so don't expect to find space if you come with a large party to hang out. Most people order to go, but it could serve as a nice place to study or a cozy hangout for a couple. The Drawbacks: Oddly, they had an empty drink dispensing machine sitting on top of a counter beside the guest tables; that space could have been used to house things like more napkins, sugar packets, utensils, condiments, etc. Also, the day we went, the espresso machine was down, so I couldn't order any drinks that I wanted. And then biggest drawback are the prices. Everything has a "luxury tax" in the sense that you're paying anywhere from 50 cents to $2 more for an item simply because this shop is in a nice neighborhood of Anaheim Hills. Go to a bakery in Fullerton, Orange, or West Anaheim and the prices will be lower and more affordable for the same desserts. The Service: Fortunately, the two employees were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Truly A+ customer service! The Conclusion: If you want a wide variety of desserts and drinks, and you're willing to pay a premium for them, then Choco will deliver the goods.
The girl behind the counter was so kind and attentive. I went in at 245pm on 8/21 so whoever the girl was that was working by herself, great service. Also, the pastries were delicious! It was our first time here. Next time we're going to try more.
I ordered the whole tray after discovering they have a similar occhio di bue which is my favorite pastry in italy. The girl helping me was so nice too and clearly not judgemental that i ordered the whole tray
I truly stumbled upon this place. I was looking for someplace that was open after five with coffee not only do they have delicious drinks. They also have so many pastries. I also learned they make custom Turkish delight. It was all very yummy. I highly recommend the place. The owners were also very nice.

I googled bakeries near me and Choco Bakery appeared in my search results and I'm glad it did. I had no idea such an amazing bakery existed 5 minutes from my house. They have cakes, tarts, macaroons, cheesecake, baklava, croissants and plenty of options for beverages. I personally got the fruit tart, cheese croissant and an apple croissant. I also got a pistachio Nutella baklava. Every bite was delicious and left me wanting more. There is plenty of seating inside and there is seating outside as well. I was greeted with a smile and welcoming spirit. I came on a Sunday and the ambiance was chill. I would pick Choco Bakery over Starbucks any day.
Cute cafe for pastries and cakes! They have about 5 small tables for sitting and meeting up with friends over coffee. I got the matcha latte hot and it was perfectly sweet!
Ordered a cake to go from here for a birthday. We got the tiramisu given the great reviews here. The cake itself was gorgeous, topped with colorful fruit and cream. The cake itself was slightly on the dryer side for tiramisu and tiramisu flavor was not as pungent but still yummy!
Lovely spot. I came to visit a friend and stop by to get a cake , the prices are a lot better than in the Valley! The staff was very nice and inside looked like a fairytale, very romantic in a way. I had a nice cappuccino and got a large chocolate cake which was really good, not too sweet and very fluffy , we all loved it. Definitely great place !
Absolutely amazing. I can be picky with pastries because they can get too sweet, but these made my mouth water instantly. Everything is so delicious that I've already come back a few more times to try items I haven't yet. Their cheesecake is to die for, and this is definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

This is one of my favorite bakeries ever. Every time I'm nearby I make a point to stop in for some goodies to go. They have a great selection of sweets but I have to practice a great deal of control to not get one of everything! Some of my picks are lemon bar, mini fruit tarts, berry tarts, and those twisty puff pastries. I love the decor as well, especially the pretty pink flowers tree and the bike in the corner. read more

Ordered a 12inch cake for 37 people and we only ate half of it. Definitely should have gotten a smaller cake! We ordered the Choco Layer Cake and I think it was the best cake I've ever had. The only problem was cutting it into smaller segments and not having it fall apart. There is a custard layer that makes it kind of fall apart when you're cutting it. Ordering was easy and the price was reasonable! The writing on the cake wasn't the best, but I guess they have since stopped offering writing. read more
Stopped here after an early dinner at Medii kitchen. Cute little spot with great pastries and affordable prices. I got a couple of macaroons. I brought it home and tried them they were so delicious. Will def stop by again when I am in the area. Friendly staff . read more

I truly stumbled upon this place. I was looking for someplace that was open after five with coffee not only do they have delicious drinks. They also have so many pastries. This was the first time I had purchased anything from this bakery. I ordered a tiramisu cake which was the dessert for my Christmas dinner. My order was ready when promised. It was delicious and I received many compliments. I can't wait to try some other desserts. I highly recommend this bakery. You won't be disappointed. read more

No matter which side of the Orange County or Riverside County line, there is no place I'd rather soothe my sweet tooth than at a Choco Bakery. I had no idea there were two locations until recently, but I can assure you that I have eyes for no other bakery in my area. The other location is in nearby Corona. Its a real struggle not to overindulge, but my personal favorite happens to be the mini cake they call a chocolate truffle cake. Anyone who knows anything about a serious chocolate addiction would understand why. This is chocolate x3, on steroids! A thin layer of chocolate cake, topped with a thick dense chocolate filling and an equally dense ganache. There is a cream cheese element as well that makes this a perfectly mind-boggling dessert. I can not keep my paws off it. Their key lime tarts are wonderful, a less sweet version with a buttery graham cracker crust. I love their varieties of baklava. The hubby tends to choose the Napoleans and tiramisu. There are so many other delicacies to choose from, even sugar-free recipes, that no one should come away disappointed. read more

Adorable bakery and beautiful pastries! There are a few tables and they serve coffee and other drinks inside. There was an array of pastries to choose from, like cream puffs and crème brûlée, but the tiramisu cake stuck out to me. The cake looks very presentable and the sweetness is on point. The dessert is more of a cake, not your traditional tiramisu. The cake has more of the tiramisu flavor, but not texture. I'll be back to try their other desserts! :) read more

I love coming here for the awesome dessert varieties, the aesthetic ambiance, great customer service & the yummiest Lavender Latte. Every girlfriend I've brought here loves it here. Have a wide variety of cake selection also. Their assortment of desserts never disappoint. I highly recommend coming here. Choco Bakery & Cafe offer an amazing array of desserts. The cafe is located in Anaheim in a small plaza across a church. The plaza is pretty busy with of plenty of tight parking spaces. Unfortunately, with more compacts spaces, I saw a couple inconsiderate drivers whom parked their cars taking up two spaces. First time (but planning to come back again), Choco Bakery is a feast to both the eyes and taste buds. We were immediately greeted as we entered. The interior is very welcoming and quaint with dim lightings. There are four small tables. The table comfortably seats two people. Even the napkin/trash-bin counter is nicely organized and decorated. The glass displays an ample varieties of cakes, tarts, rolls, cookies, cupcakes and other decadent pastries - like baklavas. We ordered: - Flaky-layered Napoleon cake with whipped vanilla cream fillings. It was light and delicious. - Chocolate Roll - Very good, but much sweeter than I thought. - Coffee Cake - It was more crumbly than expected. Very dense and was okay. I'll have come back and will try the Dulce Leche Napoleon Bar and Red Velvet cupcake. read more

I'm in LOVE! I am so glad I got the opportunity to visit this cafe. I immediately fell in love with the aesthetics, it's warm and welcoming, I can see myself easily getting comfy here. I was excited to try this pastry place for the first time, but I was really disappointed to see that there was mold on the cake! When I got home, I thought it was ice BUT it appeared to be mold. The tiramisu and cannoli were good, but finding mold completely ruined the experience. I really hope they start paying closer attention to freshness so other customers don't go through this :( read more

Is there alcohol in the tiramisu?
Whole tiramisu cakes don’t have alcohol but our individual square ladyfingers tiramisu contains rum .
