We did not have a great experience here. The shop itself is very nicely designed and quiet. It would be a nice place to get some work done. I've tried to like their drinks on several separate occasions, however, I've been disappointed each time. Their iced teas made from loose leaf are incredibly watered down. Additionally, the service is lacking. My husband ordered a drink that he did not end up liking. He returned to the counter and asked if he could order something else, and they charged full price. In principle, this is understandable, but in practice, the customer service felt very lacking. Typically nicer coffee shops that we have gone to have been more than happy to replace a drink if it was not what we expected. I understand their policy, but do think that they lost a chance to provide exceptional customer service, and thus lost us as customers. We won't be returning here, unfortunately. read more

Finally stopped by Repose Coffee and tried the Matcha Cloud Latte and the Strawberry Matcha. Both drinks were really smooth, creamy, and refreshing. The Strawberry Matcha was well balanced--the strawberry added a nice sweetness without completely covering up the matcha. My only complaint is that I wish the matcha flavor was a little stronger in both drinks. If you're someone who prefers a more bold, earthy matcha, these lean on the lighter side. That said, they were still enjoyable and easy to drink. The café itself has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere, and the drinks came out quickly. The Cream Top Matcha had that perfect creamy layer on top that made every sip feel a little more indulgent, and the Strawberry Matcha added a fun fruity twist without overpowering the matcha flavor. They mainly do drinks here, coffee or teas, but they also offer two paninis: turkey pesto or tomato caprese. I ordered an unsweetened matcha latte iced, and they offer alternative milks upon request. The bar is easily seen behind the glass so you can watch the staff make your order. Overall, the pricing is on par with most places in the area. My order took a while to come out but it's hand whisked when I ordered. I wish it was a little stronger since the flavor of the matcha didn't really come through compared to the milk. I feel very indifferent to Repose. As a fellow barista, I get that EVERY coffee shop is gonna have a different vibe, but Repose just wasn't hitting that mark for me. With tip, my drink came out to 9.40. Oof. That's quite steep. Yes, I got the cold foam matcha, but I felt that the price wasn't on par with the quality. Again, this is coming from a barista who works at a place who also sells matcha. The vibes were very quiet. The staff seemed nice, and I managed to have a little chatter with one of the baristas, but it overall felt like something was missing here. I think there's a lot of opportunity for growth, though, and reading the other reviews, it seems mutual. Wanted to try a new coffee shop so came in this morning. This plaza has plenty of parking and the space itself is very clean, minimalist, with plenty of seating. I decided to try a hot PSL (their syrup is made in house) & the barista mentioned it was on the sweeter side so I asked for it less sweet. Having taken over the old boba spot, this place serves good coffee and matcha options with a minimalist interior and limited seating options. This place is above average in many aspects, though nothing quite stands out for me hence the 4 star review. The iced coffee and sparkling lemonade options are our go-to's and many others seem to recommend the matcha foam. Service has been spotty- which is fine considering how new this place is.
