I've heard good things about their ganache mocha so I would love to try that next time I'm in town. The star of the show was the pastry kouign amann (pronounced queen aman). Flakey, buttery, caramelized pastry goodness. A bit messy to eat, I would only say that it should be toasted a teeney bit more since the inside was cold while the outside was nice and warm. The ambience is quiet and simple, with nice instrumental music. Personally I hate coffee shops that do the all wooden furniture because I find it uncomfortable, but it looks nice. I have been trying to find the perfect place to study and good coffee. This place was exactly what i was looking for. I have been coming back to this place for forever now. I sometimes come just to study because of how peaceful and quiet it is. Not too crowded, good music nice atmosphere. Today, I came in to study and didn't order a coffee because I had one in the morning. As im doing my work, I notice some of the employees staring at me. I didn't understand why at first but now it makes sense. The owner came up to me, and told me that next time i come in, i am not allowed to use the tables and chairs if I dont order a drink. "These tables are for customers only". I was really upset by because considering this place isn't that well known just yet, I have been coming here for months now. I really loved this place and the owner completely ruined it for me. I may not have gotten a coffee TODAY but just stepping into the cafe is enough recognition and should be appreciated. College students should be able to have a space to study even without having to spend money to use it. read more

Cinnamon and condensed milk really came together with the coffee. Coffee quality is good, but nothing to write home about. Matcha latte was in a similar boat. Good, but nothing to write home about. It's been around a year so I decided to give this place a chance again. I got the iced matcha with honey and almond milk and it was delicious! I remember last time the matcha quality was just alright but you can tell they've really stepped up their game with the type of matcha they're using. Their matcha is not good. Tastes like milk, and the owner gave me a really hard time when I asked her if she could fix my drink because I couldn't taste the matcha. I asked her politely--I work in the service industry, too. She said she'd charge me for another drink if she remade it, so I just asked for a refund. I enjoy quality coffee in general even if it has a higher price tag. Repose officially opened on April 15, 2025 and I've been there twice since they opened up. Visit #1: April 16, 2025. (20% off all drinks) **Spanish Latte (Hot): I read a review by a fellow yelper saying it's the best Spanish Latte they've ever had so I had to try it out! I opted out for oat milk which costed an additional $1. My drink was very milky, light, and had a very weak overall flavor. (1/5) **Espresso Tonic: I personally love ETs and I also love Fever Tree's tonic water. This particular drink was an absolute bust because I could barely taste the espresso. (1/5) Visit #2: April 18, 2025. **Americano (Iced): Espresso was over-roasted which made my drink on the bitter end. The overall flavor was also very weak and was watered down. (1/5) **Matcha Latte (Hot, Unsweetened): Opted out for oat milk for this one for an additional $1. The matcha itself was very bitter and the flavor was weak. (1/5) One good thing about this place is the customer service. From the moment you walk in to when you receive your drink and walk out that door, there is someone looking out for you. Interior ambiance is super minimalistic and very cozy. One other negative I will mention is that they skimp out on your drinks with the hot ones, as they leave a huge gap from the top from the already small cup size. Omg I came to a new aesthetic korean cafe that just opened in placentia. There are not many cafes like this in this area but im glad they made one in this city. Korean cafes are so beautiful and the dfinks are so good. I recommend coming here for their lattes like biscoff cream latte and matcha lattes!! I never saw a pretty Korean inspired cafe like this before. I was so impressed by the interior and the beautiful wooden tones and white porcelain vase decorations. I got the ham and cheese croissant which was crispy and delicious . But the drinks that were soo good were the strawberry matcha latte , biscoff cream latte, cold foam matcha, and panache mocha. All the drinks were delicious and I enjoyed each of them so much!! The owner happened to be there and she was so kind to explain the popular drinks and tell me about her cafe!! Its located in a plaza, so there are plenty of free parking available, and there are a decent amount of tables inside and a couple outside. Barely enough. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (sub oat milk) with cold foam. Overall, the taste was milky, standard ceremonial matcha and barely any cold foam top. I've had better. This wasn't worse though. The upside was the incredible customer service. A+. Everyone was friendly. The staff would either greet you or smile. Very welcoming. In a pinch, I'd support this small business, Korean-owned coffee shop before giving my money to Starbucks or Coffee Bean. Sadly, it wouldn't be my first-thought. read more

I owed my team a treat and saw this was a new spot on DoorDash and gave it a shot to help support small business. The 8 drinks were ready quickly and the whole team LOVED the drinks. I usually just pass my phone around to the crew and let them order - they didn't really take a look at the store we're ordering from and they all came asking the name of the coffee shop so they can go there on their own. Two big thumbs up for Repose. Only critique I would have is to request they label every drink in a large order.
