My absolute favorite is the jasmine buckwheat latte ... it's lightly floral, nutty, comforting, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical coffee shop. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor combinations here. The sandwiches are also seriously underrated. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made, and it's the kind of place where you end up wanting to try the whole menu. The staff was friendly, the space felt cozy and curated, and the whole experience just felt elevated without being pretentious. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Anaheim. The matcha and coffee here was amazing! My partner and I came during a short trip to LA and I've been dying to try this coffee shop out. We also came during their collab with onenhillion (an artist who frequently provides art pop ups at local shops in OC). The interior was so beautiful with all their art being plastered, and the ambience with the amazing coffee and drink we got was great. Service was alright as well! It was a bit hard to hear the cashier over the loud sounds in the cafe, but she was extremely friendly. The baristas were nice and loud when letting us know our food / drink was ready. Random days off calls for cafe hopping. Parking: They're located under the Lex CTR City Apartments. There's a small parking lot where the leasing office is. Make sure you park in a non-residential spot. Ambiance/Environment: I looove the vibes and decor here. The playful artwork makes you feel young again. Everything is kept well and clean. It's a studious environment, but also a nice spot for a coffee date. They sell cute merchandise located in the corner. I visited on a Friday morning around 10:00, and it was busyyy. They had a consistent line. Thankfully there were some spaces open to sit. Service: The cashier was extremely courteous and showed genuine care. She asked me how my day was and if I had any plans for the day. Despite it being busy, throughput was actually quick & efficient. Drinks & pastries: I tried their seasonal Salted Miso Caramel (latte) and Chocolate Croissant. The salted miso caramel sounds intimidating, but it was really good and not too sweet! All the flavors blended perfect together. The chocolate croissant wasn't too sweet either and had a good amount of chocolate. Pricing: The seasonal latte was $8, and the croissant was $5. I've been to the Chinatown location before which has a cute stationery store but no indoor seating, so I was surprised by how much bigger this location is. I always get the hojicha latte which is sweetened and basically tastes like a really delicious milk tea. The staff here is soooo nice too. Echo was especially friendly and helpful. I also accidentally spilled my entire drink and was completely mortified, but they were so kind about it and immediately offered to replace it. Such genuinely nice people here. Nice little coffee stop that had a good selection of drinks and food/desserts. The interior design was very reminiscent of Japanese cafes (love that!). Don't forget to check out the small section of merch that they have in the front! I went on a Sunday at around 1:30 PM and was lucky to grab a table. After a brief wait, I ordered multiple items and got them all within reasonable time. I don't usually get espresso tonics but decided to grab one on this visit. They added an orange slice in their version; I felt this really enhanced the taste while still being subtle. The Pandan Blue Milk was another interesting drink, since a lot of people seemed to get it. While it tasted good and looked pretty, it really didn't taste like pandan. From the "eats" menu, also ordered the O.K savory toast and the Kaya jam toast for a savory and sweet balance. True to the description, the O.K savory toast tasted familiar to okonomiyaki. I really enjoyed this but did wish it was a bit more crispy. For the Kaya jam toast, I enjoyed this as well and was surprised it was not too sweet. We also got the Cornflake cookie from the front. This was good as well but leans towards the sweeter side. This store seems like a decent working location as I saw other people staying there for a while. WiFi is available and there are outlets present. The seating didn't have back support, so it didn't feel comfortable enough to stay for extended periods of time. Had a business meeting in downtown Anaheim, and at about 45 minutes to spare and wanted a cup of coffee. Coffee. We were right down the street from this place and thought why don't we check it out. Out. I am so glad we did has it was well worth the stop. The one thing about this place is it is a little difficult on parking, as you have to go around the block and then go into the area to get a parking spot. But don't let that tour you because you would be missing out on some really good coffee and an amazing environment. Upon walking in to the front of the store, the first thing that I was struck by was the warm airy open concept storefront. It was very clean, very comfortable and made. You really want to sit and take a break from the outside world. My friend ordered the drip coffee of the day and I had a honey cardamom latte which was delicious. The people behind the counter were warm and gracious and inviting and really made this feel like it was part of my home rather than just some place. I was grabbing a cup of coffee. You can be sure that I will be coming back to the spot to have a cup of Joe next time. I am in Southern California. And I highly recommend you do the same. Bottom line? Thank you! Came here on Sunday to girl talk with a friend, haha. We arrived around 1pm and while I saw a steady stream of people going in and out (as I was waiting for my friend to arrive) there was surprisingly still a good amount of seating when we got in.. I opted for the jasmine buckwheat latte. It was a solid drink! And I was very happy that there was no bitterness to it, a sign of a really good coffee shop imo. I only noticed that they had special drinks on a small display sign up by the register, which I missed because I like to stand at a far distance so I don't block any other customers from ordering as I make my decision. I really wanted to try their blue pandan latte (blue is my fav color...and it's so aesthetically pleasing), and will surely be back to try it one day, but wanted something with coffee this time around. I really love the interior design/layout of this place. I wouldn't say it seems like a great place to hunker down and work, as it has a very open space layout (I got caught up in my talk so I forgot to take photos...), but you'll see what I mean if you visit. A little coffee shop that is under apartments/condos-- so it's easy to drive by but also convenient parking lot in the back. The menu is unique-- definitely worth trying all the things and finding which fits your palette. Sharing is the best because each toast is quite large. I love katsuobushi (bonito flakes) so I thought the OK toast was quite tasty. The TYC Avocado toast though was the winner. The sou-cured egg told was so jammy and the seasoning was all on par. I did end up having an allergic reaction to the drink and it may have been because of the bitters they put into all of their drinks. (Note: I do not have a pecan or walnut allergy so it was odd.) But before the reaction, the butter pecan latte was tasty with a bold anise flavor. (I know it says hint in the description it was def more than a hint.). The staff was nice enough to replace the latte with the only thing they felt safe which was a matcha latte. It was okay. Wish I could've finished that coffee! The coffee here was okay but to be fair Korean style coffee is always too watery for me. I need strong coffee in the mornings. Still, there staff here are lovely and tolerated my sister who wanted her milk steamed to no more than 180 degrees. (Ya, she's one of those people. I'm ashamed to say I'm related to her.) The parking is limited so when its busy you may not be able to find an open space. We actually parked on the side of another building near a hair salon. It was a Thursday morning about 11Am so I assume not a ton of people getting their hair done. Originally i was craving a coffee but i saw that everyone else was ordering matcha so i figured it must be good. I tried their strawberry matcha and it is the best strawberry matcha I've had. First time visiting Thank You Coffee in my neighborhood. Compared to Okayama, there is actually ample seating in the warm and cozy interior. Baristas were friendly and quick despite there being a long line at 10 am on a Thursday. I ordered the Pandan milk with the espresso shot, and I'm going to have to agree with the rest of the reviews here. The Pandan flavor is very light, almost as if it's a subtle hint. And that's not because of the espresso shot, because I used a straw to taste test the milk first. However, it's up to your preference. If you enjoy subtle flavor notes the this is the drink for you! I plan to try the Pandan milk with matcha next time. I think the drink could really pop if they just used more leaves or steeped longer (whatever their process is), and just charge an extra 25 cents. read more

5 stars again for the strawberry matcha tonic! It has a perfect balance of bold matcha, strawberry and yuzu flavor (puree?) and bubblessss. Not too sweet (maybe a typical 50-70% at tea places). Although I came for the strawb matcha latte, I am glad I changed to this drink on a hot day. Cashier and barista were super friendly, even with my request for a random cup of ice (I needed an ice pack for a food purchase elsewhere) and my questions about merch pricing. My wife and I go on coffee dates in the evenings, and yet so many interesting looking places close at 3 and 4pm. Terrible business model. Coffee places should stay open at least until 10pm... might be slow at first, but word of mouth will bring the patrons out at night. Really great coffee shop super close to my house. Situated one block from downtown Anaheim, a short stroll from Pearson park. Their matcha is perfect and so is their coffee. Though this location does not have much space for stationary items for sale like the one in Chinatown but they have good enough selections for notebooks. They also offer stamp card. I owed my sister a visit to a cafe, and Thank You Coffee was the place we got to go! We asked about what pastries are recommended and the croissants were highlighted as ones not to miss. We got the almond croissants and chocolate croissants - and they were flaky, light, and delicious. I preferred the almond croissant over the chocolate croissant personally for the softer, gooey, almond filling in the middle. I ordered a hot matcha latte (they were out of decaf options) with oat milk $0.70 that amounted to about $6.70. My sister got a cold mocha latte also with oat milk $0.70 that amounted to $7. Each of the croissants were about $5-$6. It's a bit on the pricy side for what it is worth, so make the most of the time you spend in the area! My sister and I rationalize that we're paying for the space to be outside of our homes too. It's a good, blessed break in the midst of a lot of studying. I was struck by the matcha latte - the matcha was not diluted, and made with care. Topping off the drink with latte art makes all the difference! The service was kind and immediate. I appreciate the opening hours that accommodates my early morning rising tendencies. Parking can be found within walking distance. Thank you all! My favorite cafe. I've tried practically everything in the menu and come at least once or twice a week. Staff is friendly and fast. They try to remember my name n I'm outta there ready for work in 5 minutes or less. The best thing on their menu is the 5 spice latte and Hojicha Latte. I ain ever heard of trying the put the szechuan mala tingling feeling into a coffee you won't be able to find that anywhere else in Socal. Great for spiced coffee lovers. They were the first Hojicha latte I ever tried. And I messed up spoiling myself because I haven't been able to find as good of a Hojicha latte anywhere else since, not here in the states, not in Japan itself. I actually asked staff why every other version I've tried looks like a dirt grey and has a chalky texture and I've found that other places uses powder (like matcha) whereas Thank You Coffee actually steeps the leaves, giving a deep tea flavor, a natural coffee color, and a silky mouthfeel. Idk if that's more traditional or more modern but I do know that it's simply better. If you never liked Hojicha before that's because you haven't tried it here. The only critique is that while the store furniture is aesthetically woody it's not really functional lol a majority of the tables are low and the wood benches + cushions are super slippery. It's not a big deal for me because I just grab n go my delicious coffee but if you're I student I kinda suggest you do the same. Overall wonderful place cyall again next week read more
