I love this place! They opened about a few months ago, and their menu includes a solid variety of coffee beverages, matcha drinks, and breakfast options (including egg sandwiches!). The interior is always so nice and clean, and the modern layout and aesthetic furniture really adds to the nice ambiance. They have a nice little display near the front with their pastry offerings. Decent amount of seating options. Their matcha menu includes a few different matcha drinks, including strawberry matcha, cloud matcha, and regular matcha. I have tried them all and they are the perfect amount of sweetness, quality, and size imo. I also love how reasonable the prices are, and they do not compromise on the quality of the food. Their k-town breakfast sandwich is my go-to, as it is always warm, filling, and the perfect way to start my day. I will say wait times for sandwiches tend to be on the longer side (anywhere from 10-15 mins), given the small amount of staff and what I assume is the limited kitchen space and the fact they make everything fresh. Still, everything is well worth the wait. You can tell everything is made with great care and attention to detail. The staff always have a smile on their face, happily answer any questions, and treat all their customers kindly, especially the woman at the front who always rings customers up at the register. I was so excited when I found a new cafe was going to open up in the area, as I typically have to drive quite a bit away for a solid morning matcha and breakfast sandwich. Happy to say I am now a regular and will continue supporting as long as they are here. On a Sunday morning, we arrived and parked our car in the very front. It's a small parking plaza, so it's not the easiest "pick up and go" block. We walked inside the store, and quite liked their table and seating arrangements. It was quite clean and full of patrons sitting and enjoying toast. It was nice to see the shop being busy. Always a good sign. We ordered at the front desk and decided to get two drinks. My fiancé ordered a Honey Oat Latte and I ordered their Butter Cream Latte. We sat down near the front entrance, hoping our drinks would be quick. It took twenty minutes for us to get our drinks. A big amount of time, considering our drinks are the first to be made (we were first in line before a crowd came in). When observing the process, we realized that the baristas do not have much space to make coffee. Their machines take up the counter space, and they have to pour the drinks/cream tops near the cash register. Both ladies were sweet though, so service is great. I can see them have so much patience with everyone. She also explained how to drink my latte without a straw, to get the full experience. My butter cream latte was very milky and sweet. I couldn't exactly taste coffee, since there was a lot going on in the beverage itself. My fiancé thought his drink was fine. Found this cute little coffee shop on Yelp, and met up with some friends here. It's located in a very small strip plaza, and if you can't find parking in the front, there's some additional spots in the back! This is one of the places where you can't judge it's outside, because once you're inside, the vibe is sooo cute! I think they're Korean-owned, because their drinks seem to highlight Korean flavors. I got matcha cloud latte with almond milk, and it was soo creamy and delicious!! I was excited to see Cafeto in a Soft Opening phase and I wanted to check it out for myself. They are located in the same plaza as Subways and Vanity Beauty Salon. There is sufficient parking spaces so parking shouldn't be an issue. When I came in I saw the cute ambiance with modern décor. There is also many tables along the side of the restaurant for you to enjoy your latte. Rachel was super friendly and greeted my immediately. They had a kiosk but that might be for when it's busy because Rachel took my order. I decided on the Combo I ($12.99) which includes the Korean Street Toast and an Iced Butter Cream Latte. Yum! Rachel warned me that it would take 15 minutes for the toast, and that was perfectly fine. I had my laptop with me and I had work to catch up on. My patience was rewarded because the Korean Street Toast is incredible... It was cut down the middle or me and I saw the melted cheese ooze as I picked one side up. There was eggs, ham, cheese, but then also hidden carrots and cabbage for the healthy touch. So good. The eggs were so fluffy. I can eat this everyday if I lived closer. The butter latte was also delicious. It wasn't buttery butter butter but more like a butterscotch aftertaste to the latte. Very unique and fun. I enjoyed every sip of that latte. This is on my way home from work and they open at 7 AM so it's a perfect pit stop for me. I got the answer I needed with a very informative response which is very rare these days. Here's what I ordered: **Butter Cream Latte: I generally get my drinks with oat milk but I wanted to try their signature drink just the way it comes out. I generally get my lattes less sweet but since the lady recommended I try it as is, I went for it and was pleasantly surprised how flavorful it was. The creamtop had a nice buttery texture to it. It was sweet but the drink as a whole was strong enough and had a nice balance in flavor. (5/5) **Iced Americano: I like to order a basic Americano when I try out new coffee spots and this one hit the spot. Not the best I've had but definitely up there with the greats. The espresso flavor was very balanced to my liking. (5/5) There was a family of 3 that had ordered drinks and food so I expected to wait a little bit for my three drinks but I was in no rush. I waited a little over 10 minutes and the lady apologized about the wait but it was no problem for me. The lady working resembled what seemed like the owner and I give huge props to her by delivering phenomenal customer service and taking the time to explain in detail the questions I had for her regarding their drinks. My friend and I tried their signature butter cream latte, strawberry matcha cloud, strawberry matcha scone, and a cream cheese fig scone. I absolutely loved the buttercream latte, which was a rich beverage with smooth espresso layered with milk and a thick, buttery and slightly caramelized creamtop. Once mixed together, the drink made for one of the most delicious lattes I've ever had. I don't know how else to describe it other than to say it's a fantastic dessert style coffee that, surprisingly, isn't too sweet. The strawberry matcha cloud was also perfection. I'm picky with my strawberry matchas because I'm discerning with the purees that different shops use, but the strawberry cheong here was delectable and perfectly complemented the earthy and slightly bitter taste of the matcha. Lastly, the pastries were just as exceptional as the drinks. Everything we ordered, I would absolutely get again, which is a dilemma because there are so many other treats on the menu I would love to try. My new go to coffee shop! I live 3 minutes away and I've been here more than a handful of times and am always greeted warmly by the owners! My faves are the iced butter cream latte and decaf vanilla latte! The butter cream latte is creamy and not too sweet and the coffee isn't overpowering! Their decaf is the best I've had, it doesn't taste watered down or bitter so you get the same coffee taste without all the caffeine! I had to come to try the buttercream latte and it did not disappoint :D For someone that doesn't like very strong or bitter tasting coffee (& has a sweet tooth) this was the perfect drink for me. I saw someone mention that if you want a stronger coffee taste to add an extra shot of espresso so maybe I'll have to try it when I come back. * Buttercream latte: smooth, well balanced latte and sweetness flavor. The cream complimented the coffee well and was not extremely heavy like other cream top drinks. 5/5 would come back and get this again. * Matcha shot latte ("dirty matcha"): 5/5 stars. One of the few places I've tried where the matcha and espresso were not overpowering one another and made for the perfect blend if you mixed them. I highly recommend this as well! Service was friendly and quick. They have a large screen where you can order & pay + there are pictures of the items on the menu, but you can also order at the register if you'd like. The cafe is spacious with 2 long tables and about 3 smaller tables placed throughout. After living in this area for a few years, I've seen this storefront change multiple times and I really wanted to like and support this new cafe! I understand that it's still new so hoping they can make some improvements but my husband and I did not enjoy the drinks we ordered. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and my husband ordered a matcha cloud. To caveat, my husband and I make espresso and matcha lattes at home almost every day so our standards for coffee and matcha might reflect that. Iced Vanilla Latte - was way too sweet and was not a fan of the vanilla syrup they use - it tastes like vanilla flavored coffee beans and not natural vanilla. I wish they offered the option to adjust sweetness. The coffee flavor was also very light, I went home and added a double-shot of coffee to this drink and it was still too sweet. The cup was also filled with ice and even an hour later, after all the ice melted, the coffee is still way too sweet. Matcha Cloud - it's basically milk topped with matcha cloud foam but the matcha they use is not the fresh bright green matcha you would like to see - it looks/tastes like culinary grade matcha but I can't tell for sure the brand they use. When we got home, my husband also added more matcha to this drink. This drink was also way too sweet despite adding more matcha. Cups - The cups that they use leak on the sides where the cup meets the lid. If drinking from the lid or stirring the drink, the cup will dribble coffee or matcha or whatever you're drinking down the sides of the cup or onto you. Hoping this this just a bad batch of cups but surprised that no one else mentioned this. I have to drink my coffee with a napkin wrapped around the cup to avoid coffee from spilling onto myself. Ordering is done via a kiosk which is convenient but hard to ask questions and doesn't feel as personable. I wanted to ask what was in a Butter Latte (which also seemed popular) but the barista looked busy so I opted to just look on Yelp for a description from other customers. Overall, they had LA prices for the drinks but not the quality or service you would expect from an LA cafe. I can't speak for the food but it seems like other reviewers enjoyed the food! One of the best new coffee shops in OC! The butter cream coffee is a unique and sweet taste. I would say its best described as a vanilla mocha frappucino flavor. Ive also tried their matcha cloud which is very good too but dont expect it to taste like a regular strawberry matcha latte, its a matcha cloud! But still so good. I've been to Cafeto a total of 5 times now. I wish them success and continued business for years to come. I was next door at the dentist, which happened to be my first time there, and the tech there had just come back from grabbing coffee next door. Decided to give it a shot after my appointment and was so glad I did - I had gone to my car to try the drink and had to come back inside to tell the owners how much I loved it (the buttercream latte)!!! I got to speaking with Raina and Rachel, and they are the sweetest and kindest two humans. Every time I come in, they greet me by name and have a smile to share with me. I just want to hug them! I've tried so far: 1. Buttercream Latte - subtle, smooth, creamy dreamy and just sweet enough. My first instinct is that it reminds me of a toned-down tiramisu. 2. Honey Oat Latte - little more coffee-forward, so a better option for those who want the "coffee" taste. However, the honey is so well balanced in this that you have the flavor of honey without it being too sweet. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. The SUBTLE sweetness is something I have appreciated about the drinks so far. Typically I fear drinks being too sweet and need to ask for 30-50% sweetness, but I like these just as they are. Subtle is the key word here, for both drinks. I'm picky about my coffee, not because I'm a connoisseur but I don't often find drinks I just "love". So it's a nice change to have a hard time choosing between the two. Food: 1. Korean Street Toast - filling and flavorful, somewhat nostalgic. Although it's called a "toast", it is a sandwich, just FYI. It was simple, but good; I liked that it had cabbage in it, because it's not something typical you'd find in a sandwich. I would have preferred it a little toastier/crispy but that is just my preference. 2. Spinach/Cheese Croissant - yum 3. Maple Pecan Scone - they source some (or all?) of their pastries from an external baker. A bit on the sweeter side for me, but a treat. Review on food and drink aside, what I appreciate most about this cafe is the energy. Raina & Rachel are truly lovely, and it makes such a difference to walk into a cafe and feel the experience is a personal and community-oriented one.
