We came in for a mid-morning breakfast close to Disneyland. It was busy but we were seated immediately. The highlight of our visit was being seated at Riley's table. She was so helpful. I asked what makes the Caramel Latte "messy" and she explained that the caramel itself is plentiful and therefore messy. She refilled my cup with coffee after I finished the latte. The food itself was just ok, nothing spectacular. The bathroom is clean with multiple stalls and one sink. I would come back for breakfast and possibly to try the burger.

I've never really gone out for brunch, so this place was such a delight for my first time! The wait was 20-35 minutes, but we definitely waited only like 10 minutes for our table. So expect to enter in a waitlist because it gets crowded! The food was amazing! Absolute 10/10! I got the hash skillet which was a much larger portion than I thought I was going to get. Soft potatoes with gooey cheese, bacon bits, green onions and scrambled eggs (but you can get the eggs however you like them!). Every bite was delicious! I even tried my sister's and my best friend's chicken and waffles, which I will definitely get next time. The chicken was crispy and the waffles are so nice and fluffy. It's also amazing paired with their syrup that they have on the side. For my drink, I got their messy caramel latte and it is packed with caramel drizzle and whipped cream, with a nice coffee flavor. The overall ambiance is very nice, definitely what you expect from a busy cafe. And our server was great too! Definitely a recommendation for a weekend brunch!

It was a delicious brunch. My Son had the Chilaquiles with Carne Asada and I had prime rib with some hashbrowns and eggs. The pancakes are off the hook. Order them for last , tell them to hold them so you get them nice and hot.

Better than I expected! The portions are huge, which I definitely appreciated, but the food was also really tasty, not just big portions for show. Everything we tried was good, especially the French toast. Honestly, the food looked even better in person than in the pictures. The restaurant itself is pretty big, bright, and airy, not dark or dingy at all. It has a very family-friendly atmosphere and definitely feels like a great spot to bring kids and enjoy breakfast with family. Our waitress, Carla, was very pleasant and gave really good service. If I had one small criticism, it would probably be the coffee. I'm big on coffee, so I personally would've liked a stronger coffee flavor. I also wasn't a huge fan of the iced coffee latte drink, but that's just my personal taste. Overall though, we really enjoyed our visit. This was our first time here and we'll definitely be going back.

We joined the waitlist before we arrived. They sat us as soon as we arrived. Big location with plenty of seating. The food portions are big enough to share. Prices are average. My favorite are the steak chilaquiles make sure you ask for them mild.

Had a great breakfast at the Broken Yolk Cafe. You know when they do coffee right, it can't go wrong. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with hash browns, and my friend Joe had the American Breakfast with English muffin and bacon. Our server was friendly and checked on our coffee regularly. They were quite busy for a Sunday morning and we had a little wait. I'm glad we tried this place out. Very reasonable prices and good portions. I was satiated and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I have to give special kudos for the hash browns. I know they must not be too healthy because they were so delicious. I normally don't finish my potatoes but this was exceptional. They had many tables and the parking was shared with a nearby strip mall. It had a nice diner feel to it and there were many locals eating here.

Came back again with my husband and seriously I can't wait to try their whole menu. Their smoothies are AMAZING. Highly recommend getting the strawberry banana smoothie. Both the tuna melt and lemon ricotta pancakes were great, but dang their onion rings and fries are just as good and compliment the main dishes well. Service is always exceptional and even when they're busy, the ambiance is always welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

What's not to like about this place? This is the second time that I have visited this place. The first time was a year ago, after going to Disneyland. This time I'm here again after visiting Disneyland. Is it becoming a trend? Well, this time we lyfted here from our hotel across from Disneyland, a quick ten minutes, and we arrived. It wasn't too busy, and we were seated right away. Our server (Alicia) was dropping off drinks and said she would be right back. She came back with a huge smile on her face, introduced herself to us, and took our drink order--coffee and water for me. She quickly returned and asked if we were ready to order. We were not ready to order yet, since the menu was so big and everything looked so good. We finally ordered, I got the Southern Biscuit and Gravy with French Fries My wife ordered the CA Omelette. In no time at all our food had arrived. The biscuits were light and fluffy, the gravy was perfect with enough sausage in it to fill you up. French fries were golden brown and hot. I finished my plate, cleaning every crumb off of it. What a great breakfast, and my new go to when I'm in town at Disneyland

This place is so busy but luckily we beat the crowd. They have a big menu with many omelette options. Service is great. My soup-salad-sandwich combo is decent. Don't really like the tortilla soup - not much in it. The soup is overpowered by huge tortilla strips. The tuna sandwich and Caesar's salad are both decent. BF had the Mom Omelette. It looks so colorful, tastes good, and feels healthy from all the veggies. Iced Spanish Latte is good. Wish they had more seasonal coffees.

I came here on a weekend and it was packed as expected! It's a huge cafe with so many tables and gives diner vibes. I got the choose two benedicts and got the border benedict and sope benedict. The border benedict came with a sweet corn base that added a nice flair. The carne asada and the sauce really pulled everything together and it was delicious! The sope benedict was also very flavorful, and they were very generous with the beef barbacoa and avocado. I also really enjoyed their pico de gallo, which was very refreshing and contrasted nicely from the savory barbacoa. Both benedicts' eggs were perfectly runny and I loved that I was able to try both for an extra few dollars! I took off a few stars because the service was overall just so slow that it took away from our dining experience. It took long for us to get seated, even longer for our server to take our order, and EVEN LONGER to get our food, and for that alone I probably wouldn't come back.

We ordered the California breakfast burrito and the Belgian waffle with a cookie butter latte and a melonade. The burrito was delicious and so was the waffle. The bananas were nice and fresh. The cookie butter latte was OK. I would not get it again because it does not taste like a cookie butter latte. Our server Sam was lovely to have. She was very attentive and constantly checked up on us.

Tropical mimosa flight at Broken Yolk Cafe Light, fruity, and the cutest brunch sip!
    Megan Y.

Broken Yolk Cafe was sooo good for brunch The food was delicious and totally worth the 45 minute Sunday wait. I loved my meal and the mimosa flight was fun. They mostly have wine based drinks just so you know. It's more of a come hungry and enjoy great food vibe than a dress up cocktail brunch spot but I would definitely go back. Plus the prices were really reasonable.

Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

Pour Company has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. I typically dine here at…read moreleast once a week because the food is consistently delicious, and when I visit in the evenings and sit in Mario's section, the service is always exceptional. Unfortunately, my experiences during the day have been the complete opposite, and both involved the same server, Tania B. The first incident occurred when I ordered my usual meal: the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare with the mushroom peppercorn gravy. When my meal arrived without mushrooms, I politely mentioned that it normally comes with them. Rather than checking with the kitchen or simply explaining the dish, Tania immediately insisted that it had never included mushrooms. I even asked if the recipe had recently changed because I had been there the previous week and it was served with mushrooms. She walked away, returned with a menu, tossed it on the table, and said, "It doesn't say mushrooms." Her tone and attitude were unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional. Ironically, when I returned another evening and ordered the exact same dish, it was served with mushrooms. Today (7/31/26), I returned for lunch and, unfortunately, Tania was my server again. I ordered the Steak Frites medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium-well or well done. I politely explained that it wasn't cooked as ordered. She took the plate back, returned a few minutes later, and told me, "That's how it's going to be. Take it or leave it. The chef is the owner, and that's his message." I mentioned that last time she told me it didn't come with mushrooms and clearly there's mushrooms on my dish. She responds with, well sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. I'm like so inconsistency is a thing here? She replies with if that's how you want to see it. I asked if I could speak with the owner directly, and she responded that he was "too busy making food" and refused to let me speak with him. My friend and I paid for the rest of our meal and were preparing to leave when I noticed another employee in the kitchen. I asked if he was the owner, and he explained that he wasn't and that the owner was actually downstairs. I simply asked if I could have Nick's phone number or email so I could share my concerns. The employee kindly said he would see what he could do. While we waited, Tania approached us multiple times in a confrontational manner instead of allowing us to wait peacefully. Rather than focusing on the guests seated at her bar, she seemed more interested in arguing with customers who had legitimate concerns. Throughout both visits, she displayed poor customer service, responded with attitude when simple requests were made (even something as basic as asking for a side of ranch seemed to annoy her), dismissed concerns instead of trying to resolve them, and escalated situations that could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant itself is excellent. The food is consistently great, and Mario provides some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. Unfortunately, one employee can dramatically impact an otherwise outstanding restaurant. If Tania is, in fact, a manager as I was told, it's concerning. A manager should be setting the standard for hospitality, resolving guest concerns professionally, and de-escalating situations--not arguing with customers or making them feel unwelcome. I truly hope ownership addresses this because Pour Company deserves better representation than what I experienced. I would love to continue supporting this restaurant, but I will be avoiding daytime visits as long as this level of service continues.

There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant which is often full. We usually park in the free multi-story parking garage just east of Harbor and Wilshire. It is a short one block walk to High Horse from there. As the name suggests, the décor is very western themed with lots of wood, cowboy hats and boots, wagon wheels, lassos, saddles, taxidermy, etc. Seating options include booths, high top tables, and at the bar. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm with food and drink specials. We started out with the pickle fries ($12) which were excellent. The pickle slice thickness to batter ratio was perfect, and they were served with a side of ranch. My first cocktail was The Smoking Gun (bacon washed Elijah Craig bourbon, maple syrup, angostura bitters, orange bitters, $18). It is smoked tableside and was a healthy pour. The bacon and maple flavor was very light, but it was very smooth. Her first cocktail was What Would Dolly Do? (Hornitos plata tequila, Los Sundays jalapeno tequila, Del Maguey peubla mezcal, simple syrup, lime, pineapple, grapefruit, $16). It was balanced with good jalapeno flavor and pineapple below with a light smokiness. For my entrée, I had the half slab of baby back rips ribs ($28) with coleslaw and fries. The plate arrived steaming hot and I was impressed with the portion of ribs. There were seven meaty ribs that were very flavorful and the BBQ sauce was good. The fries were crisp and seasoned, and the coleslaw was good too. She had the Up The Creek spice rubbed cedar-plank salmon ($26) with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion of salmon was good and it was flavorful. The asparagus was cooked well, but they were over salted. She also enjoyed the potatoes. My second cocktail was the Skinny Dipper (Tito's vodka, St. Germain, aloe vera water, watermelon, lime, $15). This drink was light and refreshing, with floral notes, and watermelon and lime standing out. It also had a great looking color. Her second cocktail was Ladies Love Outlaws (rose petal infused Ketel One vodka, St. Germain, simple syrup, grapefruit, lemon, rose wine, $16). This was also light with floral notes, and had good grapefruit flavor. It was very lively at 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. We left a little after 8pm, and the place was packed as they have line dancing. There was a big crowd of at least twenty people dancing in front of the restaurant and having a great time. The service was good, and our server was very friendly. The food and drinks were great, and I think they were a pretty good value for the price.

He approached us by asking what's going on. We explained the situation and were told he cannot do anything for us. I was wanting any form of compensation for wasting my money on a photo booth in their bar. He continued to tell us that he doesn't own this photo booth machine, so he can't do anything for us. Yet, he can have his bouncers allow a man, who is clearly blacked out, into their bar. Then proceed to let that man roam around the bar as if he didn't just fall onto us. I brought up this point to the manger and he told me I was disrespecting him. We did not receive any form compensation nor an apology. I don't care what type of setting we were in, a manager needs to have some sort of customer service skills. Very clear management did not care about our safety.

I gave…read moreReunion Kitchen 1 star across the board because the atmosphere, service, and food all fell well below expectations. The service was by far the worst part. We sat for over **20 minutes** without anyone coming to our table--not even to offer water. I eventually had to get up and ask someone to send a server over. What made it even more frustrating was watching other parties who arrived **15-20 minutes after us** receive water immediately and have their orders taken before anyone even acknowledged our table. After finally waiting another 10 minutes to receive our water, we had to track down our server again just to place our food order because no one returned to check on us. By that point, we had been sitting long enough and were more than ready to order. To make matters worse, we ordered an appetizer of coconut shrimp about five minutes after placing our entrée order, but it never arrived. After we had already finished our meals, we asked to cancel it, only to be told that our server had never entered the order in the first place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the poor service. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. This experience was frustrating enough that I cannot recommend Reunion Kitchen. I initially wanted to believe this was simply an off day or an inexperienced server, but after hearing from two other people I know who described nearly identical experiences, it seems this may be a recurring issue. One thing that left me especially uncomfortable was seeing guests who arrived well after us receive prompt attention while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I can't say why that happened, but it certainly made us question whether we were being treated differently. I sincerely hope the restaurant looks into its service standards and ensures every guest is treated with the same level of respect and attention.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy with a comfortable atmosphere, but seating is limited. It can get busy during peak hours, so waiting is expected. There are also outdoor tables along the street that you can use when the weather is nice. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable, making it a good option for a casual breakfast or brunch. They were out of cold brew during my visit, so I ordered an iced coffee instead, but it was served a bit lukewarm, which was slightly disappointing. The omelet and Cobb salad were both flavorful and well prepared. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Overall, a cozy breakfast spot with solid food and a welcoming atmosphere.

The crepe was definitely my favorite! the combination of fresh strawberries and Nutella was delicious, and it really hit the spot. The breakfast panini was also tasty, and I would happily come back for both items. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff stayed attentive throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. One thing I really loved about this cafe was the atmosphere. There are plenty of seating areas, making it a great place to hang out or catch up with friends. The overall vibe is cozy and inviting, which makes me want to keep coming back.

The smallest cut being $38.95. The prime rib comes with 3 sides: creamed corn, creamed spinach, and a Yorkshire popover. You can substitute the sides for garlic mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes au gratin, truffle fries, rice, sautéed spinach, or vegetables. The truffle fries were so good, thin fries that were perfectly crispy and light. The prime rib is delicious. Juicy and tender. For $38.95, you get a lot of quality food that is filling. They kindly gave us a birthday dessert, a Belgian chocolate puff pastry with vanilla ice cream and Chantilly cream. There is indoor and outdoor dining. Even though it was a hot summer day, sitting on the patio was so nice. There was a breeze, the sun was setting with beautiful views. Parking: there are three lots. One right when you enter, a valet lot, and another one on the other side of the restaurant. All very close and we didn't have a problem finding a spot on their promotional Wednesday at dinner time.

What I also appreciated about this place is that they offer private events, where they allow you to tour the spaces (taste test food options) and provide very helpful information to make your event a success. They offer different packages, and staff will ensure to put you in touch with the right point of contact for your specific needs/accommodations. Yelp definitely did not let us down! So we've been to Griffins a handful of times over the last yearish and while their menu is petite and nearly unchanged, we still usually get the same things. The most recent visit, we ordered our usual: 20 oz ribeye medium rare, patatas bravas, and crispy brussel sprouts. For the ribeye, I will say this time around compared to the other times we've been here, it was quite lacking. The ribeye was less flavored than usual and I feel like we either got an like an older piece of ribeye or maybe a poor cut off the ribeye because it was quite chewy and a bit tough in some places and not really tender. It was cooked perfectly medium rare, but it was just too chewy and it was not it's usual. I hope this is just a one off thing and that the next time we come back it's the usual delicious and tender one piece of ribeye. The patatas bravas were delicious, crispy, well displayed, and in two different sauces (forgot the name lol) and very tasty. The other highlight is their crispy brussel sprouts. We try and order this at any restaurant; however, most do not do it as perfect as Griffins. It is super crispy, but not charred, very flavorful but not overpowering for a side dish/appetizer, and most importantly, it's not greased up like so many other places. The restaurant is located in that downtown Brea and has plenty of seating but always do reservations regardless. The environment is more dark, relaxing, and a great date spot. Parking is no issue as there is parking in the back (which I believe is valet) but there is a parking structure across the street. Pricing is as expected when compared to other restaurants of similar caliber. Griffins has a very large alcohol drink section, but the ladyfriend and I prefer our non alcohol drinks and I can never say no to Dr. Pepper. Aside from this off night ribeye we had, highly recommended if you are looking for a steak restaurant in this year. Their brussel sprouts will never let you down either!
