    Chicken & Waffle Benedict

Came here in my visit to California for Junior Olympics. Service was great, didn't wait long for the food. Food wasn't too bad. Only thing is you have to eat it fast because the waffle gets soggy. I added syrup because I felt something was missing. But overall this was a good breakfast spot

Broken Yolk Cafe in Buena Park a must see!!!

We took our daughter to the Broken Yolk Cafe across the street from Knott's Berry Farm in our city of Buena Park and she had a blast The ambiance was lively and the staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There are so many food selections for Sunday Brunch and it was so hard to pick. The menu had so many choices but we started out with the champagne flights and other drinks She enjoyed the SOPE BENEDICT- Fried sopes with shredded beef, poached eggs, ranchero sauce, avocado, Cotija cheese, salsa fresca, cilantro and sour cream yummy I had the STEEL-CUT OATS-Slow-cooked oats topped with strawberries, blueberries, sliced almonds and organic agave, so good My husband enjoyed the MEAT LOVER omelette Bacon, ham, sausage, pepper Jack cheese, green onion, he loved it! And our grandson enjoyed the CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES Fluffy, golden buttermilk pancakes with baked-in chocolate chips. Topped with more chocolate chips and which are made to order and we order additional food because my daughter Shara the birthday girl wanted to try the BORDER BENEDICT- Sweet corn cakes topped with carne asada, poached eggs, fresh jalapenos and our signature housemade poblano sauce, we couldn't believe it she ate both her Benedict orders, plus a side of hash browns and bacon It was all delicious and our waiter was great he had outstanding service and should be applauding for his excellent customer service. They also have a beautiful young lady going around doing balloon arrangements for the kids and some adults to which was fun She made our grandson a sword and our daughter Shara crown for the queen's birthday celebration We will definitely be back again because it's a great place to spend time with family or friends over a great meal. Thank you for outstanding service with a fabulous attitude we appreciate it!!!

Can't go wrong with a good brunch spot! They have a large variety of brunch options from eggs Benedict, classic breakfast, pancakes, to lunch options such as burgers, salads, and soups. They also have a wide drink offering from coffee selections, smoothies, to of course mimosa flights! I got the golden state Benedict which was my favorite combination of bacon, avocado, tomato, and poached egg. I did ask for the sriracha on the side so I can control how much I get in each bite & it was delicious! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, large clean open space with a modern feel to it. Our server was friendly and the service was fairly quick despite it being packed when I went. There is parking in front of the restaurant but it can get filled up really quickly during peak brunch hours!

Came here on a Saturday morning at 11am. The parking lot is pretty tight and hard to find parking. We ended up parking elsewhere and walked. We were able to add ourselves on the Yelp Waitlist so that was helpful! Food and service were good. The Machaca was pretty good and the breakfast trio I tried came with a tiki toast, French toast, and cinnamon pancake. Yum!

Broken Yolk Cafe is my favorite brunch place that has me thinking about it days and months after! Parking lot is packed when its busy. The wait is usually short if there is any at all even when busy. There is both booth and table seating available. The churro french toast is unlike anything else out of all the brunch places I've been to. It's the fluffiest and sweetest. The cream cheese icing is amazing with the cinnamon and sugar. The whip cream starts sliding off since the toast comes out hot, but it definitely pairs well with the icing, syrup, and french toast. The ranchero skillet comes with sauteed potatoes and egg on top. It was a good size for singular brunch or sharing! The french toast qualifies to be the best I've ever had. Absolutely unforgettable and on the top of my brunch favorites!

Went with my niece and her boyfriend to the broken yolk in Buena Park today and it didn't disappoint for a second time. Sat in the outside patio where we were seated very quickly. Alonzo took care of our drinks and our order right away with a smile. Combo of Classic Eggs Benedict with Salmon and Arugula it was fresh and very tasty. Mike had the chicken and waffles, Jen enjoyed the Border Benedict. Always nice to have a great server with great food. See you next time!

This is the best Broken Yolk Cafe I've been to. My lady friend and I were very happy with our food and service. Megan really took care of us. Seh was so nice. She was eager to answer any questions we may have. We both loved our food too.

What I Ordered Golden State Benedict ($17.95) Sweet Trio ($17.45) Good Morning Burger ($16.95) Strawberry & Banana Smoothie ($9.25) Blueberry & Banana Smoothie ($9.25) Food: Broken Yolk Cafe is one of my favorite brunch spots in all of Orange County. I loved the Golden State Benedict, which came with grilled tomato, avocado, bacon, poached eggs, on an English muffin with hollandaise sauce and sriracha. Every bite was full of flavor thanks to the creamy and savory hollandaise sauce. All of the fresh ingredients matched well with the applewood-smoked bacon that was thick and juicy. The Sweet Trio lets you try a slice of each of their most popular toasts: Tiki Toast, Crunchy French Toast, and Cinna-Cake. All of these are very sweet, but also great brunch/dessert foods! My favorite was the Good Morning Burger, which came 1/2 lb beef, sunny side up eggs, bacon, cheese and more. The quality of the beef was absolutely incredible, and it paired very well with the bacon and eggs. It was as if breakfast and lunch had a perfect dab with each other. Staff: All of he staff members were quick and friendly. Ambiance: Huge indoor seating area along with a few seats outside. The parking lot is a bit small, but there is a plaza with a bigger lot across the street.

Great and popular breakfast spot. Cute diner vibes. An extensive menu of scrambles, omelets, toasts, burgers, and yogurts. I got the meat skillet and loved it! The server Megan was very kind and accommodating.

Excellent service at this place! Megan our server was so attentive and nice. Our food was really good as well- I got the machacas and it was so good. Very crowded so make reservations!

The restaurant sits right in the hotel lobby with no walls, so you hear everything--hotel guests coming and going, music playing in the lobby, the TV from the bar, and general foot traffic. Unsafe Conditions, Dismissive Management & Unnecessary Security Call…read more I was dining at Thirty Acres Kitchen inside the Knott's Hotel when water started dripping directly from the ceiling onto me. There was also standing water on the floor with no wet floor signs, barriers, or any warnings whatsoever. This was a clear slip-and-fall hazard in a busy restaurant. I calmly brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, Julie, and pointed out how dangerous it was--especially for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs, this was particularly concerning. Instead of addressing the problem, she dismissed it as "not a big deal," refused to complete any incident report, gave me a negative attitude with a mean facial expression, and then called security on me as if I was the problem. When the young security guard arrived, he asked for my ID. I politely refused and explained the situation calmly--he looked surprised but not defensive. I have photos documenting the ceiling leak, standing water, and lack of signage. This experience was disappointing and unsafe, especially from a hotel restaurant attached to a family theme park. Management should prioritize fixing hazards and training staff to handle legitimate guest concerns professionally rather than escalating them. I hope Knott's / Six Flags investigates and improves. But depending on where you park, you may have to pay for parking.

After a fun day at Knott's Berry Farm, my wife and I decided to get dinner before hitting the road…read more The criteria were good eats, a varied beer selection, a decent atmosphere, and hopefully some novelty. Rock and Brews exceeded each category and came in clutch with some bonuses! First, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I had tacos, which were discounted for Taco Tuesday and allowed for a mix-and-match of chicken, beef, or pork. My wife had the Mediterranean salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a pretzel that was mega yummy. Second, beer! Lots of great choices, and if you prefer a mixed spirit, well, you're in luck, because they have plenty of those too. Third, vibes! Vibes like Cal Tjader came back to life. The place is decked out like your coolest friend won the lottery and created the perfect spot for all of his Rock & Roll lovin' homies to hang and chill. It is hard to pull off this level of focus without being a complete visual disaster or downright tawdry. Luckily for them, the designer understood the assignment. Well done, designer. You deserve a raise. Now, obviously, I'm a fan. One visit. That's all it took. But even after all of that goodness, there is one thing I must share, because it made a good experience a great one, and that thing is not even a thing; it was Matthew! Brother, thank you for being so kind and attentive. You are very talented, and without question, the quality of our experience is directly linked to your professionalism. I get the impression that no matter where you go, or what you do, the Force is always strong with you. Let's give Matt a raise too! And make him manager when you open the San Diego location.

After staying at the Knotts Hotel and having a good time at Knott's Berry Farm it was time to check…read moreout at the Knotts Hotel. We headed to Rock & Brews to get lunch it about going to take five minutes depending on the Traffic. We arrive at the restaurant Rock & Brews looks so cool from the outside but the inside we couldn't wait to see how's inside looks. We step in we're amazing the size and full of best bands from the 60' thru the present time they have live band on the weekend. We got seated right and the waiter came hand us the menu then I got our drink order,we're looking at menu they have a very good section to choice from but my wife decided to the bbq chicken salad then I order the Demon chicken chicken with sweet potato fries cost little bit more then we order the giant soft authentic Bavarian pretzel on a guitar holder comes with mustard but beer cheese dip is $4 extra. The waiter brought us our giant soft authentic Bavarian pretzel we couldn't believe it was huge we took a piece of it we amazing how soft and crispy crust very good,we dip in the mustard very good but we try the beer cheese we're disappointed the beer cheese dip we felt didn't have a good cheese flavor and beer need be pair with the cheese any good quality cheese. Finally our food arrived at the table my wife bbq chicken salad look so good. I was very surprised to my Demon chicken sandwich it looks like an angry Demon due to using fresh Jalapeño pepper and what kind of spices they use on chicken breast for Demon chicken anyways I took a biteof of Demon chicken sandwich it was incredible good but spicy but coleslaw cools down the heat. The sweet potato fries was good I really enjoy it. My wife love the bbq chicken salad and the giant pretzel. I love the food but the service was amazing good we like to thank our server thank you.
