Such a cozy place to have a delicious breakfast/brunch and catch up. Specifically made for small groups. I love this! We were greeted immediately. Unfortunately due to an appointment, we were unable to dine. We did order their Iced Cafe'de Olla to go. 10/10 this has to be the best I've had. So much so, we ordered an extra to go. Would love to visit again for a proper meal when I get back into town.
This place was just okay for me. The spot itself is really cute, quaint and cozy, there was a wait but that's understandable since the spot is small..the service was good. Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the food I ordered. The avocado toast was a bit too salty, possibly because of the cheese on top, and it just did not hit for me. Overall, the atmosphere and service were nice, but the food was just okay and left me feeling unsatisfied.
It's a good brunch spot, but not the best. There's a good amount of parking. The restaurant is really small. There were only 7 tables. It didn't seem like it can fit big parties and there's an automatic 20% gratuity for parties or 4 or more. It was a 40 minute wait to be seated. Once seated, we wait to order but our food didn't take too long to come out. The pancake was doused in butter which was good but heavy. I also got the chilaquiles with chorizo. The red sauce was delicious. Definitely had a little kick to it. Got the egg scramble with potatoes, bacon, cheese, spinach. It tastes a bit bland and so I added hot sauce on top. It's a good homey brunch spot, but it does have limited seating so prepare to have a bit of a wait. The servers were kind and attentive.
Food was 100/10 super delicious and not too overwhelming. The service was great everyone was super attentive and super friendly we really got a warm vibe. The interior was super calm and clean the decor was super cute nice little spot me and my family enjoyed, the only caveat is that you cannot have parties larger than 6. Other than that it was a super good find. Glad we chose to come here!
Honestly, I felt really bad walking in literally as soon as they opened but surprisingly I was treated and welcomed in with a smile! You do have to wait outside tho so they can find a table for you, please make sure to leave your name in the paper with the exact number of group that you have if you have one. The maximum group amount there is 6 since it's a smaller cafe/brunch restaurant. I got sat down very fast the wait wasn't even a minute. My server Lukas (with a K) was very helpful and friendly, the host as well was checking on me every once in a while along side Lukas. Great smile, great customer service. I got the Bukowski Combo with turkey bacon (since I cannot eat bacon) which I was surprised they had to be honest +1 bonus points! I'm also very happy with the fact that the potato's are grilled not friend which is very easy on the stomach specially this early, I personally should've asked for it extra well but that's for next time! Eggs got them over easy which was SO DELICIOUS I might add. This was my first ever time trying the turkey bacon and it did not disappoint. I also did get a black coffee but I drank that after the food. Overall 11/10 experience, I will definitely be back.

Very ma + pa. The food was so amazing authentically home-cooked meal. It was worth the wait. I imagine that it gets really busy on the weekends. I happen to come on a Friday morning. The service is great. The staff was kind. I ordered the café de olla and I have never had it before so I added creamer. Luckily, they replaced my cup with a fresh one, and I was good to go. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking an authentic meal!
this is a quaint, homey little hole in the wall brunch spot. the wait can get pretty long but the service is good and friendly and parking is limited but available. Durango Chilaquiles Red w/ Chicken i'm usually a big fan of chilaquiles, but i thought these ones were just alright. i liked how the chip texture wasn't too soggy, but i found the sauce to be way too sour for my enjoyment and the chicken was dry and tough. Plaza Breakfast Tacos 2 tacos served with a side of potatoes, these tacos were so delicious and perfectly seasoned. the flavors and toppings of the tacos tied together well and nothing was too overwhelming.
From the french toast, to the coffee, and the service... everything actually exceeded expectations! For context, I found this spot randomly on yelp, in search for a brunch place in Anaheim. We were a party of 2, so despite a few parties being ahead of us on the physical (paper) waitlist we were seated at peak hours on a Saturday. The menu is large but I think we were spot-on with all of our selections: We got the french toast (with bananas and mixed berries), Christian G protein plate (with yams), Egg Scramble (with a side of pancakes), and the Cafe de Olla (Piloncillo & Cinnamon infused) iced coffee. The french toast was crunchy on the crust and chewy on the inside. The fruits paired very well with the self-serve syrup. The syrup dispensers were great because they would not over-pour (like at a typical iHOP). I chose the yams as my side for the Christian G plate, and it was amazing. Nothing fancy but yams just made the plate 10x better. We were glad we got a two-stack of pancakes because despite their smaller size, they were pretty heavy and would just melt in your mouth. The Cafe de Olla (Piloncillo & cinnamon) was great! We would recommend this coffee. As we were finishing up the meal, the waiter came over and offered a togo cup as we had not finished our first drinks. Unexpectedly, he came out with a fresh new togo cup, plenty for the rest of the day or even tomorrow's cup. Little things like this, vouch for a perfect service score in my book! The restaurant was very cozy, with great decor! Our favorite decor is shown in the photos :) The service was as quick as it could be, given that there was one chef and at times the floor staff would also help with the prep. Food was ready in about 30 minutes, during peak brunch hours.
Very quaint breakfast mom and pop shop. The wait was almost an hour but the food was good so I can see why people do. The service was solid. I would've like to have been offered more coffee. The vegan scramble was fresh and delicious. My partner got the Finch breakfast burrito and said it was solid too.
Long lot, easy parking. Waited about 15minutes before we got seated. There's a wait list to put your name down. OJ $3.75: I couldn't tell if this was freshly squuezed or poured from a bottle. I only wish the serving amount was more than what was given. Cafe de Olla Hot $6: Tasty and pleasant, I believe this comes with an extra refill as our server asked if we wanted a refill which was nice. Scramble Combo $21.50: Eggs, Potatoes, French Toast, Cheddar, Spinach and Diced Ham. A little bit pricey IMO and medicore taste. Overall this combo was good, but nothing spectacular. Finch Breakfast Burrito $10: Simple breakfast burrito, but nothing to rave about. Overall friendly staff, food mediocre, nothing for me to make me want to come back for more. Solid food overall and friendly staff.

I am a huge brunch person and this place was in my list so today finally decided to not go to my favorite spots to give this place a try . Sadly it wasn't up to par with My breakfast standards . I made the mistake of missing the sign in sheet outside so when we walked in they told us to sign in and wait outside . The place is tiny , like maybe 6 tables . We waited less than 10 mins outside . After we ordered food came out pretty fast but I just got the avocado toast with a side of bacon and my husband got the chilaquiles which I believe is the popular item here . He liked his order but it was a small portion where he didn't get full so I gave half of my food to him . I didn't like my avocado toast at all but the side potato's were good . I try avocado toast everywhere , it is my favorite but I didn't like the Mexican style avocado toast . Other ppl might like it , but it wasn't for me . And that was the only thing on their menu that looked good to me . The water cups they bring out are really small so we both finished our water right away and had to wait awhile to get more . They don't have teas only coffee or juices so that was a bummer . I was craving a nice hot chai latte . I just had to go get one after we ate here . Usually breakfast spots offer chai , so that was different for me . Sadly , we won't be back but I'm glad I have it a try finally . The area has a lot of places around and enough parking .
My family and I visited on a Sunday morning around 10:20, we didn't wait more than 5 minutes to be seated which was great! However, as soon as we walked in we were able to hear the two female cooks up front, negatively speaking pretty loudly about the party that was waiting to be sat. Such a big turn off! The minute we sat down, it's almost as if the clock started ticking. We tried to get our little one settled right away in her high chair by cleaning it because it was dirty (our little one is still teething so she touches everything and places her hands in her mouth) but the belt for it was torn and not working properly. We still sat her and just watched her throughout our meal, we ordered 2 chilaquiles, cafe de olla and a kids French toast! The food was great but I wish we would've been able to enjoy our meal without feeling constantly hurried by the staff. Almost every 3 minutes they checked in to see if we had everything, which is greatly appreciated but it definitely felt as if we needed to get up and get going. I understand it's a small location and other parties began to wait but it was excessive. My little one began to get fussy and as we tried calming her, one of the waitresses brings us our check while we still had food on our plate and said "in case she is sleepy" it felt like she implied to get going because she was fussy. I really wanted to like this place because of their good food and the reviews I had seen but I wouldn't recommend unless you're single and in a hurry. Place but that still

My friends come here often and have been telling me about it and I finally got to come with them. My friend swears they have the best Chilaquiles, and as someone who doesnt always care for them, I have to say, they were delicious from the taste I had! And the chips are CRISPY!!!!!!! Not something many places can do. I had the steak and eggs and it was really good. Service was awesome, too! They dont have a lot of space to sit and eat but we had no problem getting a table in the morning when they opened. They have super cute decor, too! read more

Food was 100/10 super delicious and not too overwhelming. The service was great everyone was super attentive and super friendly we really got a warm vibe. Every time I come by for breakfast, I try something new and I love it! I love their fitness menus if it's my nutrition and meal plan and there's always something delicious for my friends who order off the rest of their menu. The Chilaquiles are great, we have also had the French toast with fruit fruity pebbles on top and that was so darn good. I can't get it out of my mind. What makes this place stand out is their ICED café de olla - I always impress my friends who visit from out of town with this one! They've never tried anything like that in their lives! Their service is so quick their entire team and staff is polite and friendly, also bilingual, which is very helpful. Ambience, chill family, friendly, cozy vibes ! Will continue to come back every single time I get a chance ! read more

Cute small business, with friendly staff. I had the red chilaquiles with steak and my companion had the steak breakfast plate and ordered their green salsa on the side. Both plates were amazing. I loved the red sauce and the steak was so flavorful. The chips seemed to also be freshly made. The steak plate he said was amazing. Also a lot of steak was served. The green salsa is so good I could drink it. Definitely looking forward to my next visit. read more
We had breakfast here this morning and everything was great! I had the chilaquiles, which I've never tried before and they were sooo good! They were training a new server so we waited a while for them to take our order, but as soon as they realized we had been waiting a bit, they were overly apologetic about the wait. Staff was very friendly! My daughter got a kids combo with pancakes and my son got the scrambled combo. My only complaint is that this was pretty expensive for breakfast food. I left a 20% tip and it ended up being over $80 for the three of us-, which seems a bit steep considering there was no alcohol involved and one of the meals was a kid's meal. We've never been to Anaheim before so I'm not sure if that's standard for the area, but it's almost double what I'd pay at home to eat out for breakfast. Overall, we really liked this place and the kids gave it big thumbs up. read more
First time here while visiting LA from Sacramento. You sign up outside and wait patiently. It is a small space, limited seating and only 2 women cooking the food where you can watch them. We got there at 10:39a and sat down at 11:30a. Food took about 25 min but worth the wait. Coffee is delicious and strong ! I enjoyed all of my food. Every single Bite ! Absolutely amazing Cafe! Decided to come here after my morning workout, and boy was that post workout meal a treat! Atticus Cafe is a small joint, with about 10 tables (eye balling). They do not seat parties of more than six people. The food, coffee, and service were absolutely worth it. I enjoyed their Steak and Eggs plate, and their signature iced coffee (tasted like a horchata coffee, absolutely delicious!). Service was attentive, friendly, and food came out quick. The wait was not long at all but didn't expect it to be very small and hot inside. The heat was not a comfortable experience... the host and waitress did not communicate with each other which led to confusion when getting sat. My guess is because they are all over the place. My biggest complain was how I was told that I couldn't seat my baby on the side of the table, who was sitting on a high chair. I gave the reason, which was so I can feed my child... told no again because of a "safety hazard" and how no one is allowed to sit on the sides. However, as you can see in my picture, the server allowed two people sit on the side which was breaking the "hazard" rule. Clearly this isn't a real rule since he allows others to do so. VERY UPSETTING. The server was rude throughout the entire experience. We ordered three drinks, the cafe de olla was the only one we got. The matcha and vegan Spanish latte arrived after we finished the food. Not sure what type of restaurant gives drinks once food is finished? We did ask on the status of our drinks when the rude server said he was working on them... clearly he wasn't because he started to sweep the kitchen. Once we finally got our drinks, they didn't even taste good. I can get better iced coffee from 7 eleven and a canned matcha from a grocery store.... And that's saying something. I have zero nice things to say about this place. Last complain, the portions are SMALL and taste is very mid. I can go to Porto's for way cheaper and better quality food and experience. I will definitely never come back. And I will discourage anyone from eating here. Overall, it's small, hot, rude server, late & terrible drinks, and small portions. Great and cozy little breakfast spot in Anaheim. Busy on a Sunday mid morning. Plenty of parking that's shared with other establishments. Hardworking group here doing their best to serve up some nourishing breakfast items. Their cafe de olla is the best I've had in a while. Highly recommend getting that and their chilaquiles too. Delicious! Seating can be a bit tight and if I remember correctly, they unfortunately can't accommodate parties larger than 6 people. High chairs for the little ones available too. read more

Very disappointed by the quality of the food here. I ordered pancakes, bacon, and eggs. All of it had black grease all over. The pancakes also had black bits and pieces of the unknown from the day before. The second pancake was broken up dismembered hidden under the first one. Bad presentation. Clean your grills! This can make someone sick. read more
My husband and I decided to stop in before Disneyland. Thursday morning, around 9am we are seated next to the window in a quaint little restaurant in a surprisingly comfortable table: The place is small but mighty. The heart of the place is the kitchen and it's a great show to watch. What a truly incredible scratch kitchen and service. Husband had Green Chilaquiles. (Also offered in Red). In 8 years I haven't seen him this excited over food. Homemade tortilla chips, perfectly seasoned chorizo, delicious eggs and crema. As he finished the dish he declared these chilaquiles the best breakfast he's ever eaten. - A little offensive, if you ask me. Power Bunny bowl: perfect portion, soyrizo was incredible, the sweet potatoes were perfectly seasoned, laid over a bed of egg whites. Tied together with a green salsa and fresh leaves of cilantro. Great balance, toast served per request but not necessary it's delicious all on its own. We will back and often. read more

Food was SO good. We ordered the chilaquiles rojo, breakfast quesadilla, and the cafe de olla. Everything tasted so flavorful and the staff were so friendly! They offered to top off my coffee as we were leaving and even offered my boyfriend a coffee of his own! Definitely worth coming back. They are a smaller cafe and only allow parties of 6 or less, so plan before coming. read more

What a yummy brunch spot! It's small, but the food is big in flavor. I was looking for some breakfast/brunch after getting ready to leave a conference and Atticus Cafe came up nearby. I'm so glad we stopped by. It's located in a strip mall and you write your name down on their clipboard and wait to be seated. Both my husband and I had a scramble combo and you can choose a side of toast, pancakes, or french toast. I had to get their fruity pebbles pancakes since I love fruity pebbles lol. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I do like cafe de olla and saw they had it on the menu so I ordered a cup. It wasn't bad, but I've had better. But as far as the food, it was all flavorful and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Just know it could be a bit of wait since they only have about 10 tables. Happy I stopped by and will come back if I'm ever in the area again. read more
