After my last experience here, the restaurant owner Ray reached out to me with an invitation to return to make things right. I appreciated the prompt initiative to make sure everything was up to the correct standards. It took me almost a year to get back to Garden Grove because I live far now but I finally made it. Sandra at the front was the absolute sweetest and so helpful as we decided on what to order. They had 4 people staffed this time so the kitchen was flowing great and the service was on par. We got the smoke gun and cheese injector - such a fun addition to the experience!! I brought 2 friends with me and they both loveddddd their burgers as well! The fries were perfectly crispy and the zucchini was great too. Can't wait to come back again. Perhaps the best burgers we've ever had! We stumbled onto FireFly Burger via a Facebook add. We were in the area today and stopped in for lunch. The business have a small footprint in a crowed mini-mall anchored by Starbuck and the traffic that entails. Parking is a premium, and I can see how at times unavailable. In now way a deal-breaker, but be aware you may have to be creative to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is simple and unremarkable. Seven or so tables will likely accomodate 40 or so people. What we were not prepared for was how the food makes you completely forget about the spartan seating area. After being greeted by a friendly manager (I apologize for not getting his name), we decided on the FireFly burger and the double Smashburger. We rounded out the meal with fries and drinks. Oh. My. Lord. These burgers are amazing! Nicely charred outside but still juicy inside. FireFly using Halal beef, so you know the quality of the meat is among the best you'll find. Fries have a unique seasoning that seperates them froom most other burger joint fries. Absolutely delicious! Insanely flavorful burgers with generous portions! Now one of my top burger joints. The rustic hunter decor, large comfy booths, and box of gloves at each table make this spot even more memorable. The staff were super welcoming and happy to walk us through the menu. We went with the Smokey Burger combo. Juicy Angus beef, savory bacon, molten cheese, grilled onions... all the good stuff! We asked for medium rare but got more of a medium well, yet every bite was still delicious. Upgrading our combo's fries to onion rings was the right call. They're ultra crispy and well-seasoned. We left the Garden Amp after a concert looking for some late night munchies and luckily this place stays open until 200am. This place serves halal meat so you will see many Muslims here. We ordered the popular Firefly burger meal, chicken sandwich meal, and Cheese Curds. I stopped by this vendor at the OC MENA festival this past weekend to try the firefly burger. I just thought I was getting a regular burger that you normally get at festivals and fairs, so I wasn't expecting much. I never thought I would say this, but honestly best burger I've had! The firefly sauce was actually fire not even in n out sauce compared to this. The burger was so juicy and full of flavor along with the beef bacon, toppings and firefly sauce. The lady at the front I forgot her name, but we talked and she was so sweet. She even gave me a coupon in line while waiting. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo because I had to eat my burger and get in line for the concert that evening. I would definitely come here more often if I lived closer! 10/10 read more

As I type this, my meal is digesting. This being my second time here, I ordered the Smokey Meal, and, on my previous visit, I took advantage of a BOGO offer via Facebook that netted me a free Smashburger with Cheese, to go along with my choice of the Firefly Meal. Both meals, the burgers were delicious, and juicy(I ordered them Medium Rare). Temperature-wise, both were warm when they reached me, though I feel they could've been much warmer, but, other than that, no complaints. The fries were hot, though not scorching, and cooked perfectly, which is always great. Love their choice of ketchup, though, they seem to have switched them. On my first visit, they had Heinz Natural Ketchup, which had no additional sweeteners(no sugar, or, high fructose corn syrup, just natural spices, vinegar, and tomatoes). This visit, they switched back to the regular Heinz ketchup. No points deducted for that, but, I hope they stick with the natural stuff. The place isn't cramped, but it is small-ish. It doesn't feel cramped, though. Service is reasonable, speed-wise. It took just over 10 minutes or so for my order to reach my table. The girl who took my order and served me both times was friendly, and explained the menu on my first visit, and also explained how the BOGO offer would work. My lone complaint that cost this place a fourth star? Dead bugs on the window sill. To the Owner, and/or Manager: Please clean the window sills. While I didn't lose my appetite, others may not be that strong in the stomach when they see the dead bugs in the windows. If they're gone on my next visit, I'll gladly update my review, and put up Star #4. read more

Absolutely a great spot to grub, especially after midnight on weekends if you're trying to avoid basic fast food. In fact, all their foods are 100% halal. We experienced a clear double standard in how we were treated compared to other patrons--slower service, missing essentials like drinks, sauces, straws. It's a shame because the cashier was lovely and the food is high quality, but I don't support businesses where you're treated differently based on your background. UPDATE (6/8/2026): Thank you for the reply, Ray. However, you missed the point. I didn't review your values; I reviewed my actual experience at your restaurant. When a customer explicitly tells you they felt excluded, the correct response isn't to 'respectfully disagree' and tell them their feelings are wrong. Your defense that straws are 'upon request' doesn't explain why other tables were given warmth and attention while we were treated like an inconvenience by the chef. I gave a 1-star review because no matter how good the food is, nobody should have to pay to feel unwelcome. Went here during OC restaurant week since they had a pretty good deal. It was $15 for a burger, fries, drink, and dessert. Kamikaze burger (4/5) - This was pretty good! Although, I was expecting it to be more spicier but it was on the mild side. I only took one bite since it was my friends so maybe the middle was spicier. Firefly Burger (4/5) - it was my first time trying beef bacon, honestly sooo good but I wish it was crispier. I got so full after eating only half of it. Trying out FireFly Burger for the first time! This particular location tucks inside a tiny commercial building at the corner of Euclid and Chapman with very limited and tight parking. I would suggest you come with a friend so you can wait out while he grab something to-go. The limited parking contrasts strikingly with the quiet, brick clad industrial interior. The staffs are very nice and welcoming. Service was efficient and it didn't take me too long (about 10-15 min) before I got my two burgers and a Mexican coke ($4.99) for takeout. I got the Firefly Burger ($11.99) and the Wallstreet ($11.99.) I was amazed by how massive the burgers are and I had some difficulties trying to hold it with both hands! Apparently they use a needle to inject the sauce directly into the burger so it's juicier. The ingredients are fresh and quality, especially the patty are fresh and well seasoned. I also appreciate the lingering aroma of mushrooms, which enhances the Wallstreet very well. Overall, Firefly Burgers checks a lot of boxes: generous portions but solid flavors, reasonable prices, quick and friendly service, and a quiet, laid-back atmosphere. Me and my cousin decided to check this place out on a Saturday since I keep getting Instagram ads for them haha. Parking was real easy to find. We walk in to a pretty spacious dining area and was greeted by the front desk guy immediately. He was very welcoming and accommodating as he gave his recommendations. I opted for the wallstreet burger and we found a table and sat down. Order took about 10 mins to come out with our drinks as well. First off the burger looked super delicious and once I took a bite, it was so juicy and good! Our waiter also brought different sauces for us to try with our sides. The onion rings were crispy and the sauces were all delicious I'd recommend trying them all and see what you like! I guess my only complaints could be that there wasn't enough for the sides and no TVs around showing any sports or what not. Overall though it was around $18 for the meal and I think the price is definitely worth it. Service is top notch and the food is absolutely delicious. I'd give it a 4.5 but opt giving the 5 stars due to the really accommodating servers here. Glad this is my first 2026 review and you should definitely get your burger fix here! read more

Drove by this place a million times and finally got a chance to try it out. Went on a weekday lunch and Ayham was working solo, awesome guy. There was only one other customer, so I came at the right time. The egg bacon burger was decent. I found the bacon to be a bit rubbery, but I downed it all with no issues. It was a rather messy burger, but they have gloves on the table to have customers prepared. The mozzarella sticks were an awesome surprise, came with a slightly different flavor than your generic sticks from other restaurants. Cant speak for drinks but their water tasted fine. The cheese injection is unique in its own way, but I could have lived without it. That said, the smoke gun treatment they offer is quite unique to me. I liked that. Made the whole restaurant smell excellent! I will say, it seems a little pricey but falls close to the rest of the market we all recognize. Location is very clean, decent amount of indoor seating. Nasty! Why this place has okay reviews I do not understand. I had such high hopes after reading reviews. Huge disappointment. Fried chicken sandwich was dark meat that was super tough and chewy.
