    TINY

One thing I love about this restaurant is flavor. I can't name all the flavors on top of my head(take a look at the menu photos on their page) but they have a lot of sauce to choose from. I got the original and korean season chicken flavored wings ( tangy and spicy). The chicken was juicy and very savory and had the Korean traditional chicken flavor to it. (If you are Korean you know what I mean). One thing I HATE about this chicken place is that you don't really get what you paid for... They are a bit expensive for the size you get. and their chicken is EXTREAMELY small. Like SMALLLL. I've paid around $80+ (including tip) for 40 piece of tiny little wings/ fries. Attached are pictures of the wings for your review :)

I like the garlic soy here. Nice little addition when they add the potatoes on the side. Would recommend if you around the area. Service is good and nice place to hang.

This was my first time at this location, I've gone to the Irvine location before. I'm surprised that it wasn't as busy but we still enjoyed ourselves. There's plenty of parking in the lot. Service was good overall, the place was clean and easy to get around. We ordered different chickens and they all were so good. I have to admit that the wings were my favorite but that's my bias. I love flat wings. They didn't have the big beer batter fries, which was better for me because I do prefer shoestring fries instead. We had so many different dips too but our favorite was the lemon garlic. The mango habanero wasn't as spicy as we anticipated. The sweet salty parmesan was a no go for us. I dipped everything into that lemon garlic sauce though. They ran out of the onion rings so we opted for the pickled cucumber salad, which was refreshingly light and not fried.

Love the new addition of pho- the broth is so flavorful and you get all the different cuts of meat. The portion is generous too! I always love their chicken sandwiches too, so delicious and the egg on top was perfect! Highly recommend!

The menu was pretty confusing, since it was hard to tell if the list of flavors were either dips or seasonings (you can choose to either get it as a dip or seasoning). Maybe coming the second time it'd be easier to choose, but definitely rough for our first time there. In terms of food though, the chicken wings were extremely crispy and the fries were wonderful. I loved that they only gave us flats as I am a huge flats enjoyer. The service was pretty good until the end, where I had to wait 10 mins at the register until someone walked out and let me pay my check. It's a relatively small place, but is well lit and provides a relatively cozy ambiance.

The chicken sandwich was hot and tender, and the glaze sets it apart with a unique savory/sweet flavor combination. The sandwich with the fried egg is unique, tasty and fresh! The pickled cucumber salad is a SPICY pickled cucumber. The serving is pretty small for six bucks though. The ambience is straightforward small-shop chill. Staff are laid back and nice. I wish for some kind of additional vegetable option to round out the fried goodness and make me feel healthier.

Sweet and Spicy Wings 4/5 (top). Soy Garlic Wings 4.5/5 (bottom).

This is a Korean fried chicken place. The food was pretty good. Note that if you get wings, they only give flats here. This is perfect for me, though I know some prefer the drumette parts of the wings. In your order, they will also include some fried potato wedges. They tasted weird and not like regular potatoes, so maybe they used a different variety of potatoes? I didn't like them. * Soy Garlic Wings 4.5/5 - Crispy wings with a light batter. The meat was juicy with a sweet and savory taste. * Sweet and Spicy Wings 4/5 - These were pretty good. You can really taste both the sweetness and spiciness. I wasn't a fan of the strong honey-like sweetness, though, so I'd probably try a different flavor next time.

I had a major craving for fried chicken. Specifically- sticky, garlicky- Korean fried chicken. We landed on ordering for pick up from Furai and we couldn't have made a worst choice. We ordered their Garlic Soy, whole chicken ($40) - the portion seemed small, came with a side of fries, 2 portions of pickled daikon and kimchi. We added an extra sweet and spicy sauce on the side. Which was the blessing in disguise because this chicken was DRRRRRRRY. My first bite was into a breast piece. Why? Not sure, purely seeking disappointment at this point, because there was no juice in this meat. The "soy garlic sauce" was non existent at this point so we NEEDED the extra sauce we added on to be able to get some flavor out of this chicken. Not only was the chicken dry, they didn't bother to brine this chicken after being so stingy on the sauce already. Kimchi was fine, pickled daikon was soft- which is another issue in itself. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Got the lemon garlic and sweet and spicy half and half chicken! The pieces were so good and flavored well. I loved their pickled radish, pairs perfect with the chicken. The batter was nice and thin and crispy! I would come back to try the other flavors!

Excellent Korean fried chicken. A litttle on the pricier side but totally worth it . The bone in chicken is halal as confirmed by the owner herself. The sauces that come with it are amazing too. The service is good and the place has decent area to sit.

    Rachel T.

I wish the sauce was a bit less sweet. The wings are very crispy, thin coat of flour on the outside and the inside is still moist. But you can choose the half and half option Overall: decent portion , (since they add fries to the order), perfect spot for small hangouts (3-4 people). I would come back.

Tiny wing with chick-fil-a sauce as reference

I love the Irvine Location, so I was very excited to see there was a Garden Grove location. However I was extremely disappointed in the portion I received. I ordered wings, half chicken, and sweet potato fries. The wings were so tiny, I thought it was a joke! The half chicken didn't have much meat on it either and the fries were whatever. We paid $51 for such a disappointing meal. Just go to the Irvine location.

Incredibly crunchy & juicy Korean fried chicken! My favorite flavor so far is the classic Soy Garlic. Kang Jung isn't spicy at all, just really sweet. Their Beer Battered Fries (more like wedges) are addictingly crispy and fluffy. Beyond the top-notch food, its eclectic, modern interior and super friendly service all left a good taste in our mouths :)

Man was I surprised by this one!…read more Dawa Kitchen is a delicious spot nestled in the corner of the plaza. FOOD: The Katsu Curry is easily the best deal on the menu for sharing. For $25 you get a huge chicken katsu with curry pairing. The katsu was crispy, hot, and fresh when it came out. Very tasty! The curry itself is good, but doesn't have the same punch of flavor as other curry katsu places. Still good though! This dish could definitely feed 2 people. We also opted for the Ddeokbokki. This dish had great flavor and the rice cakes were cooked perfectly! Just as a heads up, if you are used to Ddeokbokki having extra's like fish cake and cheese, this does not come with it unless added. Overall, for value and flavor this is great! PARKING: Parking is tight in the complex and I would recommend getting there early just in case there's none available. WAIT/AMBIANCE: This place was packed when we arrived with a clear waitlist of 5+ parties. Try to get on the Yelp waitlist ahead of time to make sure you get seated in a timely manner. You can also look to make a reservation as that was also faster for me! Overall ambiance is good, and the restaurant was playing some Justin Bieber! DRINKS: For a casual dining place we opted to get soju and a beer as it was $10 per bottle. Also not too bad of a deal to pair with your meal! Overall would recommend this place!
