    Vegetarian & beef lemongrass patty

Tip-- if you can call in to place order for pick up, that's ideal vs going there then ordering, which can take a while. Literally a mom and pop type of place. My favorite is their Banh mi bo nuong xa (bbq lemongrass beef patty) flavorful and goes well with the pickled veggies. I appreciate the fact they don't put pickled veggies inside your Banh Mi. Packaged individually, so your sandwich does not get soggy. Today I ordered 1 vegetarian and 3 beef. Delicious! If you're really hungry, you can easily eat two! It's my top two favorite Vietnamese sandwich places!

UPDATE -1 Star for no sense of urgency. 30 minutes to make two sandwiches... stopped in the middle of the process every time a customer walked in to serve them first.

Really solid sandwich shop here. Really nice crunch to their baguette! Solid4/5 for the grilled meat and egg sandwich !

    Dac Biet (house special)

I really enjoyed the cheesesteak and the dac biet sandwiches! I couldn't decide which one I wanted so obviously I had to buy both. There was only one man working so it took a little while for him to make my sandwiches. I think half the time was spent wrapping them up though. The sandwiches are really long so they're cut into halves, and then the halves are individually wrapped/taped, then each sandwich is put into its own paper bag which was stapled, and then the paper bags were put into a larger plastic bag which was knotted. No joke. Or I don't know, maybe it was a joke... I think what sets this place apart is the pate and butter, so creamy and good. Next time I will definitely order extra pate!

I like the beef lemon grass (bo nuong xa) and cheesesteak (bo xao). Make sure you come early because they run out of baguette around 2 or 3pm.

Has burnt marks on the other side and extremely hard. Threw away all the fell out pickles and jalapenos.

At first I was amused by the idea of 1 long baguette. Usually you only get the length with plain baguette, not with stuffing. My impressions with their stuff baguettes are, "Did they re-toast the baguettes they didn't sell yesterday? Why are there black burnt marks and the baguette are so hard?" Their baguette are crunchy but so damn hard. I always try to eat flip the baguette over and eat the side w/o burnt mark to avoid having the thing scratch the roof of my mouth. On 10/22/2016, I came in at 9:20 AM while the store clerk was eating his breakfast. I ordered 1 long special baguette. He went straight into making it (without washing his hands). Uh...ok... Brought the thing to work at 9:40 AM, cut it into 4, finished devouring 1/4 of it at 10 AM. ~1 hour later, I got diarrhea. I thought I had a weak stomach... My other co-worker ate another 1/4. ~1 hour later she had stomachaches. So 2/4 people had to run for the restroom that day...

I love the Philly cheesesteaks that I've had in my travels was curious if this location would offer me something different. First (only) offer Philly cheesesteaks with various options. I choose the "Philly Philly cheesesteak " which is double meat...it's amazing. Lots of gooey cheese, and onions...a super filling meal. I got it with onion rings, which were honestly meh, but I didn't come here for them...but still be warned if you're an onion ring person like me. The decor is what you expect with Philly being the central focus. The staff here is good and I got my order fast and made to order. A accidental discovery that ended up very satisfying. And among the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had...never having had an actual Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia!

Their cuisine is a mix of Argentine and Italian. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall with plenty of parking available. Seating options include the patio in front which has heat lamps, a small bar area, and tables in the main dining room. You can make a reservation either on their website or by calling them on the phone. Our server greeted us promptly and brought out a generous serving of warm, fresh bread which was delicious. We ordered a few beef empanadas ($4 each) and a side of chimichurri ($2.50). They came out hot and were very flavorful. We also ordered the Scampi al Vino Bianco appetizer. The five jumbo shrimp were large, and the white wine garlic sauce was good. There was no question about what I was having for my entrée, the Medallon de Lomo, a grilled 10 ounce filet mignon (only $43!). It may not look like 10 ounces in the picture, but it is a thick cut, and was grilled to a perfect medium rare plus as requested. The steak was flavorful on its own, but it comes with its own side of chimichurri sauce which I love on steak. The vegetables were good and seemed fresh, not frozen. This was definitely the best deal I've come across for a 10 ounce filet mignon and a side. One of my friends had the Parrillada Mixta ($68) which is a large serving of various meats including skirt steak, flap meat, short rib, Argentine sausage, blood sausage, and sweetbread. It's served on a big cast iron platter with a flame underneath to keep it hot. It's an entrée for two, but he ate most of it on his own, although we did give him a little help. He said he would pass on the sweetbread next time, and substitute one of the sausages for more meat (extra charge). It also came with a large serving of roasted potatoes. Another friend had the Paella Mixta ($32). It was a good size with a mix of clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp, vegetables, and rice. Our server Fred was very friendly and took great care of us. Their menu is large, I would definitely return to try other items or have another filet mignon. The only negative is that they close somewhat early at 8pm on Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, so plan accordingly.

We parked in the lot and came for an early dinner at 5PM on a Wednesday so did not have to wait. The restaurant got busier as the time got closer to 6PM. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, truly stellar. Many servers were bilingual in English and Spanish. There were also a few foods and goods for sale. The interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a wooden house/cabin. As for the food, the complimentary hot bread is very tasty, and we enjoyed the Ensalata Argentina also. We ordered the Parillada Mixta for two (comes with side choice of fries, roasted potatoes, salad, or sauteed vegetables and we chose vegetables), as well as the Risotto Don Juan de Marco. The parillada came with a substantial amount of meat kept warm on a grill, accompanied by a chimichurri. The short rib meat was a bit tough but still tasty. I felt like the risotto was good but not outstanding. We finished with a creme brulee for dessert and someone also ordered a coffee (cortadito). The meal was solid though came out to $150 after tax and tip.
