My go to for egg rolls catering. 10/10 quick and easy ordering. They are made fresh and still hot when they're picked up. Thank you guys for your awesome service and delicious egg rolls
Stopped by this spot early in the morning a few days ago when the 405 had a nightmare traffic issue and I knew I wouldn't have time to stop by my usual spot for breakfast. This is the first time I've been to THH Bolsa - usually go to the THH off Euclid/Edinger or Chapman/Euclid instead. They open early for all you early birds - 6am! Tons of parking (at this hour) - but it's located in a really busy/popular strip mall in Little Saigon, so expect horrible parking during the day, and especially on the weekends. The gal that helped me was bright and cheerful (considering the early morning hour). She told me they have a promotion on Wednesdays - Buy 3 items, get 1 free - iced coffee not included. I picked up a Com Ga (Cornish Hen with red rice) for lunch, two Xoi Man (savory Vietnamese sticky rice), Goi Cuon (Spring rolls), and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. They have other food items available too like their sandwiches - but I didn't want to spend too much time waiting since I needed to get back on my commute. Total for everything came up to be a little under $25. and I paid with cash. Card is accepted, the minimum is $15, or 50 cents charge if under $15. The iced coffee definitely hit the spot, and provided a good energy boost through my morning commute (had to take surface streets to work since the 405-South continued to look worse on my Sigalert app. I ate the Spring Rolls parked outside - they tasted fresh and the rice paper wrap was soft. I saved one of the sticky rice plates for later when I made it into the office, and gave the other away to a colleague who also had to skip breakfast due to the freeway traffic. I docked a star off because the Com Ga (Cornish hen with red rice) wasn't the best. The rice and sauce was good, but the veggies weren't pickled - which is how this dish is traditionally served with. In addition, most parts of the cornish hen meat were dry. I barely managed to eat half of it before tossing. It's a bit out of the way for me to stop by here in my morning commute - apparently they've been around for two years now, but this is my first time visiting. Nice to know a THH is in this area though - if you go early enough, you can avoid the inevitable parking mess/crowds that visit this plaza.
This place is descent. $6.50 for a sandwich that tasted pretty good. I didn't like the strong soy sauce in there (it overpowered the meats). $19 total for three sandwiches and bread was fresh. They greeted me and were kind enough. Small hole in the wall but nothing special for a banh mi sandwich. I'd come back but prefer Mr baguette
Such a great sandwich. Still a clean and easy ordering experience. The fried egg rolls are filled with meat and legit deal of the day at $1 each. Also tried the green coconut bread (don't recall the name) it is chewy texture and slightly sweet. A very nice dessert option. So flippin' good!
My absolute favorite Vietnamese Sandwich place!! I've been to many others by this place tops them. If you're getting a sandwich I would definitely recommend getting their spring rolls as well. The staff is super friendly and my order came out very fast!
Soy lap xuong & cha - pretty good on it's own but a little maggi seasoning and some hot sauce that I added made it perfect Banh cuon thit - I would prefer more pork filling over having cha & gio
Came back and got their banh mi xíu mại and ga and it was good! Service was better and staff was nice. Will come Back for their food!
While out scouring the OC for delicious eats, I happened to come across this sandwich shop and since I had the Tustin location bookmarked, I figured, why not try it here instead since it's within my reach, and I'm very glad I did! I went inside and the place was relatively big. The menu was extensive and I almost didn't even know what I wanted to order because there were so many things to choose from. There were banh mis, porridge, banh cuon, and many many more! I settled for 2 sandwiches, the House special and the grilled pork, two of their featured and best selling sandwiches. House special- the classic Vietnamese combo. It came with everything, cold cuts, pate, head cheese. I absolutely love the pate in banh mis, it's an absolute must and I don't know why anyone would ever eat sandwiches without it! Everything from the pickled carrots and daikon were fresh, the meats were well cured, the bread was nice and crispy, yet the inside was oh so soft. Delicious! Grilled pork - I'm a sucker for grilled pork, so this sandwich was a must! The pork was slightly sweet and slightly savory. The pickled veggies really complemented the pork well, it was as if I was eating a grilled pork plate but with bread and in a sandwich form. Overall, super solid!
I visited THH back in March and got the following banh mi's: the House Special, grilled pork, pork meatloaf and pate, and a shredded chicken breast. I also ordered a couple of Vietnamese iced coffees as well. It was the first time I saw the ingredients laid out, similar to Subway or Chipotle, so the lady behind the counter could just had to grab what she needed to put my sandwich together. The sandwiches were long and filled with plenty of toppings and meat! The bread was very fresh and sandwiches were tasty. They also soups and other savory items on the menu, as well as already made snacks, etc., if you don't feel like having banh mi. I will definitely be back here because the sandwiches were delicious and such a steal!
On my way to get groceries at T&K Market, I saw that this new location opened up across the street from the plaza! I've always passed by their other locations but never had the chance to try it. After getting groceries, I decided to stop by and see what they were all about! Parking is honestly not the greatest in that plaza. I'd recommend entering the plaza by turning right on the Pagoda streetlight and park wherever you find a spot right away. They're located right at that entrance (corner of the plaza). If you drive further into that plaza, chances are you are going to regret it and not even find a spot. I opted for something different than my usual banh mi order (I usually order bbq pork), so I went with the lemongrass beef . It was decent, what I did like was how soft and fluffy the bread was. They make the sandwiches in front of you and the ingredients seem relatively fresh. I did feel like they could pack some more daikon and carrots in the sandwich though. Their iced coffee is super duper strong, and actually not overly sweet compared to other places, which was a plus for me, but may not be a plus for you sweet coffee drinkers.
This is a new location for THH in Westminster! There's plenty of parking in the lot of the strip mall, and it's just across the street from T&K. They have a big space with seating along the glass windows. There are no public bathrooms though. The servers speak both Vietnamese and English. I saw that so many regulars come here; they know what they want already. That was a first good impression for me. Their menu was more extensive than I thought, but I was here only for the banh mi. I was told that #2 grilled pork is most popular and #1 house special is second most popular. I loved the #2 and didn't really care for the #1. The grilled pork sandwich has a mayo-green onion sauce that makes it more tasty. Cilantro-haters can still enjoy it - just take out the cilantro. The jalapeño slices weren't spicy at all. I tried the Vietnamese coffee, which was good, very strong. The large size is just over $5. They make the orders quickly and so nicely. Drinks are given to you first, and then they call you when the sandwiches are done. The sandwiches were filling yet not messy and very easy to eat! I still ended up with a somewhat raw hard palate though. Regardless it was a good easy lunch and I'd def come back!
Came here today with my friend to try out this place. I've been to their other locations but this location opened up recently so decided to try it out. We came in and we're greeted by the staff. They were really nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. I ordered the grilled pork and my friend got the bbq pork, and we both got iced coffees. It wasn't too busy so we didn't wait long for our order. Overall, the sandwich was really good! I've had a ton of other Banh mi from other places, and the sandwiches here are high quality for sure. Other places usually have very little meat, but there was a lot in our sandwiches. The flavor was also really good for the meats, the veggies were fresh, and other ingredients were high quality. If you like iced coffee, this place won't disappoint. If you like strong Vietnamese iced coffee, then you'll like theirs here. I had to slow down because I needed to wait for the ice to melt lol. Overall, highly recommend this, especially if you like the other locations. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the area next time.
I ordered a thit nuong to go for my little ones and realized we had the wrong order by the time we got home. We ended up getting a combination with paté which the kids don't eat. I called the restaurant and let them know we got the wrong order and they said to go ahead & just pick up the new sandwich. My husband was on the road already so I told him to just grab it when he was on the way, he got there & the worker didn't believe him & asked for picture proof of the wrong order. What in the hell, it's a $6 sandwich & called before hand. I was in the middle of showering for the kids & had to rush down just to take a picture to prove we got the wrong sandwich. We come here very often but would rather take my service elsewhere. Either the one in Euclid or carrots and daikon next door.
When Your Bánh Mì Memory Hits Harder Than Reality... I'm THAT girl who can never say no to a good bánh mì--especially a Đặc Biệt Special Combination. I haven't been back to this spot since 2023, and I remember that sandwich being SO good, so naturally I had to come back and see if it still lived up to the memory. #1 Special Combination Bánh Mì Rating: 3/5 This is your typical quick, order-and-go type of spot. Service was fast, straightforward, and no drama--which honestly is exactly what you want when you're craving a bánh mì. But unfortunately... this one didn't taste quite like I remembered. The bread was noticeably drier than I expected, almost as if there wasn't enough butter or pâté inside. They do spread butter on the outside of the bread, so you definitely get that fragrant buttery aroma when you open the bag, but once I actually took a bite, the sandwich itself felt a little too dry for my liking. Maybe my memory from 2023 is just romanticizing that bánh mì , but I definitely remember it being more flavorful and satisfying back then. Still a decent bánh mì for a quick bite, but today it just didn't give me that "OMG, I remember this!" feeling I was hoping for. I got the Pork Meatloaf & Pate and the House Special sandwiches. Even though I ate it the next day, it was still good. The best way to reheat the sandwiches from the fridge is to wet the outside of the bread, then pop it in the toaster for three minutes. I know it sounds weird but trust me, the outside of the baguette crisps up nicely while keeping the inside soft and is just as good as when it was baked fresh. A quick toast also keeps the meats and veggies cold without cooking them. While I had better sandwiches in terms of the meats and quantity, it's a great value so I wasn't expecting the best of the best. Still sufficiently packed and a balanced sandwich. The best part was their bread. It has this buttery flavor and aroma that's to die for. THH would be my top choice if I wanted to get just a baguette. The bread is so good, I could just eat that by itself and be happy. read more
THH Sandwiches has a nice big space that is clean and well taken care of. The service here was fast and friendly, and I was immediately offered daily specials on items like shrimp fried rice. I decided to try the #1 House Special - Dac Biet - Cold Cut & Pate, I was blown away by the freshness of the bread, the generous portions of meat and veggies, and the overall harmony between texture and flavor. No wonder this sandwich is #1 To drink I ordered Thai Iced Tea with Grass Jelly - delicious! I'm looking forward to coming back to try more sandwich combinations. Enjoy! read more

My family tried the pork sandwich, fried chicken sandwich and shredded chicken sandwich, I got the sheets. Everything tasted good. I think only the shredded chicken was a disappointment, too much onions in it. Price was pretty good. Will come back! read more

A classic banh mi spot. Really can't go wrong with anything here. My go-to is the lemongrass beef and a passion fruit drink. A big sandwich for a great price! I'm always able to split the meal in two. read more

New location so everything is super clean. We ordered the banh mi dac biet (good) , grilled pork (too much Mayo), and meatball. The bread was really fresh and I love the jalapeños they add. My favorite was the meatball banh mi, a lot of flavor and tons of veggies. They do charge a small fee for card transactions less than $15. We waited about 10 mins for our order. One of my favorite spots to hit before going to the beach. read more

I see all these 1 star reviews.. is there a quality control issue? My sandwiches were great! We got the chicken, grilled pork, and house special sandwiches with mango strawberry (smoothies, separate, not together) and house coffee. The bread did NOT hurt the roof of my mouth! If you're a mayo lover, you will be a THH lover as well! If not.. then just ask them to put less Mayo lol. Smoothies were not TOO artificial, not too sweet either, but I like my smoothies natural and mild tasting. I like it. Can't speak for house coffee, find another review! I don't come down to the OC often so I've never had THH before despite it having multiple locations. I came here to try it out since I heard this place is new and I love checking out new restaurants! It's located in a corner end unit of a strip mall that is centrally located in Little Saigon. There was plenty of parking available. The store is bright and spacious and clean. You order at the cashier and then pick up your sandwiches and drinks at the station next to the cashier. It's all glass-paned so you can watch the workers prepare your food. They have a pretty extensive menu including a list of different bahn mi Vietnamese sandwiches and also some other Vietnamese foods, desserts and drinks like bahn beo (Vietnamese savory steamed rice cakes), banh bo nuong (Vietnamese honeycomb cake), mung bean pudding, grass jelly drinks, etc. Since it was my first time visiting THH, I asked them for their most popular and recommended items and was told to try #2 grilled pork and #1 house special. The sandwiches were made quickly as I watched them put it together. The #1 comes with the traditional Vietnamese deli meats along with pate which is pretty common in banh mi sandwiches. The grilled pork one comes with Mayo spread. I typically like house special banh mi's since I like tasting the variety of meats but I actually really liked the grilled pork one here and I can definitely see why it's the most popular! The pork was surprisingly juicy and flavorful and went well with the crisp pickled vegetables on the soft bread with crunchy exterior. It's such a good bite! I hate when I eat Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches and the bread is really hard. However, the bread here was perfect! It was so soft on the inside but has that nice crunchy shell. I washed down the sandwiches with a solid Vietnamese iced coffee. It was thick and creamy and icy cold. The bitterness helped cut the fattiness of the sandwiches, especially from the indulgent grilled pork one. It was the perfect lunch! It is great when you need something quick, portable and filling. There's easy parking and there's window seats if you wanted to dine inside. The staff is very friendly and efficient too. The only con is that there's no restrooms as others have noted but since banh mi sandwiches are quick/to-go meals, there's really no need for it. Overall, I'm pleased with THH and will definitely come back here again! read more

By far one of the best bahn mis ive had. The bread is soft and fluffy! We ordered the special and the grilled pork! I preferred the special, it was very flavorful and the pickled veggies were very good! Just enough flavor. The Vietnamese coffee was really strong, perfect in the morning! Wil literally slap you and wake you up! The spring rolls were really yummy as well. They have a good variety in their menu, good amount of entrees, desserts, and drinks. This place will definitely be my go to if it was close to me or if they decide to open one up in San Gabriel. I love that its in a plaza so definitely has parking and the restaurant itself is clean. Westminster has what seems like a million banh mi shops competing with one another. Out of a handful of them - I have to say this is the cleanest one (maybe because it's new). The order: I ordered 3 banh mis; BBQ pork, special and Meatball. The baguette was skinny, long (10 inches) and super soft - was hoping for a little crunch. My favorite out of the 3 is the special. If a banh mi shop gets the traditional banh mi right, everything else has to be good. The shop has a very simple look and feel to it with modern decors. The place doesn't seem to offer any public restrooms. - which is odd. Service: The cashier wasn't friendly nor mean - seemed like he was just there to collect a paycheck. Wait time for 3 banh mis was about 10 minutes. Overall: I would for sure come back here again if I'm in the area but wouldn't drive out of my way for it. KCYE Don read more

I usually go to the other THH locations like the one in Tustin more often, but I decided to give the new location a try since I was near. Parking was easy for me, got a spot right in the front. The place is not as busy as the other locations, maybe because it's new? Service was quick and the food essentially tasted great as usual. I decided to try out the durian mung bean drink, but next time I'll stick to the regular mung bean drink. Just personal taste for me. There's no restrooms which is sadly quite inconvenient but it doesn't seem like many people are having meals here, just picking orders to go. I got a seat they offer at the windows, they're the only seats offered at the restaurant. The bread made here is excellent! Much more soft and tasty compared to other banh mi locations, like Che Cali which is hard like cardboard. I didn't get any sores / blisters in the inside of my mouth. The pickled radish and carrots add good flavors to the sandwhiches too. I had the Thit Nuong and Dac Biet and I preferred the Thit Nuong cause it had the perfect flavor and was not overpowering. You'll like the Cafe Sua Da if you like it very strong and you need a quick slap on the face to wake up. They have a great selection of desserts and pre-made packaged meals of you're on the go. Plenty of parking lot parking at this location and it's located on the corner of the plaza read more

Came here for lunch and had the chicken banh mi and mango smoothie. The banh mi was pretty solid, the bread was nice and crunchy but still soft so it didn't hurt my mouth when I eat it like other banh mis. A little too much mayo for me personally so just keep that in mind if you don't like mayo. Wish they cut it in half though cause it was too long to hold all at once. The mango smoothie was pretty good too, I don't usually like Vietnamese Sinh To smoothies because they taste really artificial, but this one wasn't that sweet and I could taste real fruit. Overall would come back again for lunch some time. read more

This location is stingy with the meat. I'd stick to the Euclid location . I was so taken when she was making the sandwich because she barely put any meat in. I don't know if it's because the location seem dead so they're cutting cost read more
