Love THH, especially this location as we used them before for a Boeing work event and they did a spectacular job! It's also the closest location to my home and work, so I do stop by frequently. LOVE their Cafe Su Da...AND I've been hooked on their Thai Tea, of course, who doesn't, but I'm trying hard not to drink that much sugar, so I've changed to their UNSWEETENED Jasmine Tea which is the BEST Jasmine tea I've ever had. Flowery, but not too flowery. Just right. Other favorites here are the egg sammy, and the "jelly" rice and ground meat in the grape leave thingy. Not sure of the Vietnamese name, but it's delicious. Also love the white noodles with a similar ground pork and mushroom filling. I really need to do some Googling so I can write the correct names of these dishes, but they always have a good selection of Vietnamese lunch/specialties that are fresh daily and you can pretty much just choose by looking, if you're adventurous, like me! If there's a sugar/sesame seed container, just sprinkle it on whatever you're eating. If there's a soy sauce packet, put that on it. Done and done. Easy peasy! ...and Yummy! Stopped by this spot early in the morning a few days ago when the 405 had a nightmare traffic issue and I knew I wouldn't have time to stop by my usual spot for breakfast. This is the first time I've been to THH Bolsa - usually go to the THH off Euclid/Edinger or Chapman/Euclid instead. They open early for all you early birds - 6am! Tons of parking (at this hour) - but it's located in a really busy/popular strip mall in Little Saigon, so expect horrible parking during the day, and especially on the weekends. The gal that helped me was bright and cheerful (considering the early morning hour). She told me they have a promotion on Wednesdays - Buy 3 items, get 1 free - iced coffee not included. I picked up a Com Ga (Cornish Hen with red rice) for lunch, two Xoi Man (savory Vietnamese sticky rice), Goi Cuon (Spring rolls), and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. They have other food items available too like their sandwiches - but I didn't want to spend too much time waiting since I needed to get back on my commute. Total for everything came up to be a little under $25. and I paid with cash. Card is accepted, the minimum is $15, or 50 cents charge if under $15. The iced coffee definitely hit the spot, and provided a good energy boost through my morning commute (had to take surface streets to work since the 405-South continued to look worse on my Sigalert app. I ate the Spring Rolls parked outside - they tasted fresh and the rice paper wrap was soft. I saved one of the sticky rice plates for later when I made it into the office, and gave the other away to a colleague who also had to skip breakfast due to the freeway traffic. I docked a star off because the Com Ga (Cornish hen with red rice) wasn't the best. The rice and sauce was good, but the veggies weren't pickled - which is how this dish is traditionally served with. In addition, most parts of the cornish hen meat were dry. I barely managed to eat half of it before tossing. It's a bit out of the way for me to stop by here in my morning commute - apparently they've been around for two years now, but this is my first time visiting. Nice to know a THH is in this area though - if you go early enough, you can avoid the inevitable parking mess/crowds that visit this plaza. read more

The food was ok, but I'd give them 1 star for the customer services. Since they're taking cash they need to train their employees how to check for money. I give them $10 bill just the old version of 2003 (white one), just search it up if you don't know what I mean. And they give it back to me tell me it's fake they can't accept it, it looks different than the 2017 version (yellow one). I touch a lot of fake money and when I check this one it's real you can see the invisible line under light. But if you don't know how to check just don't assume it's fake. While out scouring the OC for delicious eats, I happened to come across this sandwich shop and since I had the Tustin location bookmarked, I figured, why not try it here instead since it's within my reach, and I'm very glad I did! I ordered a thit nuong to go for my little ones and realized we had the wrong order by the time we got home. We ended up getting a combination with paté which the kids don't eat. I called the restaurant and let them know we got the wrong order and they said to go ahead & just pick up the new sandwich. On my way to get groceries at T&K Market, I saw that this new location opened up across the street from the plaza! I've always passed by their other locations but never had the chance to try it. After getting groceries, I decided to stop by and see what they were all about! Parking is honestly not the greatest in that plaza. I'd recommend entering the plaza by turning right on the Pagoda streetlight and park wherever you find a spot right away. They're located right at that entrance (corner of the plaza). If you drive further into that plaza, chances are you are going to regret it and not even find a spot. I opted for something different than my usual banh mi order (I usually order bbq pork), so I went with the lemongrass beef . It was decent, what I did like was how soft and fluffy the bread was. They make the sandwiches in front of you and the ingredients seem relatively fresh. I did feel like they could pack some more daikon and carrots in the sandwich though. This is a new location for THH in Westminster! There's plenty of parking in the lot of the strip mall, and it's just across the street from T&K. They have a big space with seating along the glass windows. There are no public bathrooms though. The servers speak both Vietnamese and English. I saw that so many regulars come here; they know what they want already. That was a first good impression for me. Their menu was more extensive than I thought, but I was here only for the banh mi. I was told that #2 grilled pork is most popular and #1 house special is second most popular. I loved the #2 and didn't really care for the #1. The grilled pork sandwich has a mayo-green onion sauce that makes it more tasty. Cilantro-haters can still enjoy it - just take out the cilantro. The jalapeño slices weren't spicy at all. I tried the Vietnamese coffee, which was good, very strong. The large size is just over $5. They make the orders quickly and so nicely. Drinks are given to you first, and then they call you when the sandwiches are done. The sandwiches were filling yet not messy and very easy to eat! Came here today with my friend to try out this place. I've been to their other locations but this location opened up recently so decided to try it out. We came in and we're greeted by the staff. They were really nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. I ordered the grilled pork and my friend got the bbq pork, and we both got iced coffees. It wasn't too busy so we didn't wait long for our order. Overall, the sandwich was really good! I've had a ton of other Banh mi from other places, and the sandwiches here are high quality for sure. Other places usually have very little meat, but there was a lot in our sandwiches. The flavor was also really good for the meats, the veggies were fresh, and other ingredients were high quality. If you like iced coffee, this place won't disappoint. If you like strong Vietnamese iced coffee, then you'll like theirs here. I had to slow down because I needed to wait for the ice to melt lol. Nobody was at the sandwich section but there were 2 girls working in the front. So I showed them my receipt and asked about my sandwich. We were the only customers in the shop. The front girl yelled out to the back employee to come out and make the sandwich. When she packed it in the bag, she was about to put some napkins in but dropped them on the floor. She picked them up and was about to put them in my bag, but saw me watching so she placed them on the counter and gave me new ones. THH is a local familiar banh mi shop. There's multiple locations and this is the newest one in the heart of Little Saigon located in a very busy plaza but shouldn't have issues with finding parking. THH is a place you can always expect consistency with every product they offer no matter which location you go to. I like it that they have online ordering which is a very convenient option. I don't come down to the OC often so I've never had THH before despite it having multiple locations. I came here to try it out since I heard this place is new and I love checking out new restaurants! It's located in a corner end unit of a strip mall that is centrally located in Little Saigon. There was plenty of parking available. The store is bright and spacious and clean. You order at the cashier and then pick up your sandwiches and drinks at the station next to the cashier. It's all glass-paned so you can watch the workers prepare your food. They have a pretty extensive menu including a list of different bahn mi Vietnamese sandwiches and also some other Vietnamese foods, desserts and drinks like bahn beo (Vietnamese savory steamed rice cakes), banh bo nuong (Vietnamese honeycomb cake), mung bean pudding, grass jelly drinks, etc. Since it was my first time visiting THH, I asked them for their most popular and recommended items and was told to try #2 grilled pork and #1 house special. The sandwiches were made quickly as I watched them put it together. The #1 comes with the traditional Vietnamese deli meats along with pate which is pretty common in banh mi sandwiches. The grilled pork one comes with Mayo spread. I typically like house special banh mi's since I like tasting the variety of meats but I actually really liked the grilled pork one here and I can definitely see why it's the most popular! The pork was surprisingly juicy and flavorful and went well with the crisp pickled vegetables on the soft bread with crunchy exterior. It's such a good bite! I hate when I eat Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches and the bread is really hard. However, the bread here was perfect! It was so soft on the inside but has that nice crunchy shell. I washed down the sandwiches with a solid Vietnamese iced coffee. It was thick and creamy and icy cold. The bitterness helped cut the fattiness of the sandwiches, especially from the indulgent grilled pork one. It was the perfect lunch! It is great when you need something quick, portable and filling. There's easy parking and there's window seats if you wanted to dine inside. The staff is very friendly and efficient too. The only con is that there's no restrooms as others have noted but since banh mi sandwiches are quick/to-go meals, there's really no need for it. If you want rotten food, come here. My family bought 3lbs of banh cuon with viet ham and all the fixings. It was a sad waste of money. The rice sheets were inseparable and sort of hard, so we cut them up. They tasted sour and spoiled. The texture is like hard jello, not thin sheets of rice. Maybe they had leftovers from yesterday. Westminster has what seems like a million banh mi shops competing with one another. Out of a handful of them - I have to say this is the cleanest one (maybe because it's new). The order: I ordered 3 banh mis; BBQ pork, special and Meatball. The baguette was skinny, long (10 inches) and super soft - was hoping for a little crunch. My favorite out of the 3 is the special. If a banh mi shop gets the traditional banh mi right, everything else has to be good. The shop has a very simple look and feel to it with modern decors. The place doesn't seem to offer any public restrooms. - which is odd. Service: The cashier wasn't friendly nor mean - seemed like he was just there to collect a paycheck. Decent sandwiches but one major gripe for this location. The #18 Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich seems to be never available here. The other locations have it and it's one of my favorite flavors. The last three times I've come to this location they told me its not available. I finally asked why this time, and the employee told me they never have it. Then I mentioned they should take it off the menu, but the owner doesn't want to do it. Well normally I would give them 4 stars but I'm taking off two. Either have the sandwich available for order or take then damn item down. I usually go to the other THH locations like the one in Tustin more often, but I decided to give the new location a try since I was near. Parking was easy for me, got a spot right in the front. The place is not as busy as the other locations, maybe because it's new? Service was quick and the food essentially tasted great as usual. I decided to try out the durian mung bean drink, but next time I'll stick to the regular mung bean drink. Just personal taste for me. There's no restrooms which is sadly quite inconvenient but it doesn't seem like many people are having meals here, just picking orders to go. I had the Thit Nuong and Dac Biet and I preferred the Thit Nuong cause it had the perfect flavor and was not overpowering. You'll like the Cafe Sua Da if you like it very strong and you need a quick slap on the face to wake up. They have a great selection of desserts and pre-made packaged meals of you're on the go. The banh mi was pretty solid, the bread was nice and crunchy but still soft so it didn't hurt my mouth when I eat it like other banh mis.
