I tried lots of banh mi place and I have to say this is one of the best . They made their own pate and bread . The bread sandwich is so crispy and big . The special number 14 is best I wouldn't recommend the grill pork . They have varieties of delicious on desserts on display and they also open late which is a

Taste is ok. It's just a sad sandwich for what else you can get in the area. Very little filling and quite expensive in comparison to others. Go elsewhere for a good, fully packed bánh mì.

Keep messing up my order. Not happy

They continue to mess up my order every time i eat here. Every single time. This was not the first time. I ordered 2 banh mi thit nuong with "no mayo" and add "eggs". It even said that on the receipt. And my banh mi doesnt have any egg in it and ton of mayo. I am allergic to mayo. I told them three times "no mayo and please add eggs". Seriously! Start paying attention when you make banh mi. It is not that hard.

When it's late and you have a craving for something besides fast food, banh mi or Vietnamese sandwich is the way to go. Luckily I was driving across the area and checked on Yelp to see what's open and this place is open till midnight. It's a little store with a nice variety of sandwiches and other Vietnamese desserts to carry out. I knew what I was going to get even before I entered since I always live and chicken Banh Mi with Egg added to it. The bread was nice and fresh and had a nice crunch to it. Just the way it should be. And I love the pickled veggies and jalapeño as well. Definitely glad I swung by the area to stop for a delicious banh mi.

Most notable thing about this Bahn Mi shop is that the baguettes are light and chewy, not crispy and hard. I like this feature because the sandwiches are easier to eat. I got the dac biet house special and grilled pork large sandwiches. The small sandwiches are buy two and get one free. The sandwiches were good. Servers here don't speak much English.

#1 round bread

my first review of 2025! I was in the area for impromptu grocery shopping trip late tuesday evening after having dinner in the area. This 24 hour banh mi shop was right next to it and certainly caught my group's attention. the interior is small and clean. They had a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round sandwiches. One wall was a glass display case of drinks, vietnamese desserts/drinks. We were too full from dinner, so we airfried the sandwich the next day and it was nice and crispy with a good amount of pate and butter (unlike mr. Baguette where i paid extra for pate and only got a sliver -_-) they also gave cucumbers in their veggie bag which was a nice surprise! Usually it's just picked carrots and daikon with cilantro and jalapenos. It was also a really large portion of the veggies for us. Lots of parking as well. I will be back the next time I'm craving a banh mi in the area and it's past usual closing hours lol

I want to hear because I couldn't find any other bánh mì place is open. I was happy to see that this place stayed up late for this hungry for a sandwich. I was served in a timely manner and the place looked clean. I will be back since it's the only spot that stayed open for the night wonderer.

Simple place to grab some Banh mi or drinks, service is very good like "greeting and got my order right"! The front store is typical Banh mi shop too. Due to the hours that I came at around 9pm, a few homeless hanging around at night time. It could discourage few customers from coming in. But the banh mi made up for it nice size, bread is still crispy even late at night, meat has generous portion packed filled with veggies.

Thịt nguoi

Thịt nguoi is my favorite and Banh Mi Saigon 168 is my go to. They accept credit card and are open very early. I've tried thit nuong and xui mai here, but their dac biet (special) - thit nguoi (cold cuts) remains the winner. Loaded with pate, butter, pickled veggies, cilantro, jalapeños, and cucumbers. There's a smaller size that is buy two get one free. The baguette is the same price but larger. There are jellos, yogurts, cold cuts, daikon, drinks, baos, pate chaud and variety of other food items for sale.

Super convenient hours and tasty bánh mì! Considering they're opened 24/7, this place is a savior when my family come home late. The prices are reasonable and they have a decent menu. The interior is actually quite spacious and they have many chairs. The people there are super nice and efficient. Highly recommend stopping by!

Be aware! They might skip your single order to make the multi orders and give you attitude when you ask about your order.

I came here last week (12/09) and asked about the deal buy 2 get 1 free baguette. The cashier said they are not having this promotion anymore. Is it true?

No still got it today. But this place is not good...

I love the Philly cheesesteaks that I've had in my travels was curious if this location would offer me something different. First (only) offer Philly cheesesteaks with various options. I choose the "Philly Philly cheesesteak " which is double meat...it's amazing. Lots of gooey cheese, and onions...a super filling meal. I got it with onion rings, which were honestly meh, but I didn't come here for them...but still be warned if you're an onion ring person like me. The decor is what you expect with Philly being the central focus. The staff here is good and I got my order fast and made to order. A accidental discovery that ended up very satisfying. And among the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had...never having had an actual Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia!

Their cuisine is a mix of Argentine and Italian. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall with plenty of parking available. Seating options include the patio in front which has heat lamps, a small bar area, and tables in the main dining room. You can make a reservation either on their website or by calling them on the phone. Our server greeted us promptly and brought out a generous serving of warm, fresh bread which was delicious. We ordered a few beef empanadas ($4 each) and a side of chimichurri ($2.50). They came out hot and were very flavorful. We also ordered the Scampi al Vino Bianco appetizer. The five jumbo shrimp were large, and the white wine garlic sauce was good. There was no question about what I was having for my entrée, the Medallon de Lomo, a grilled 10 ounce filet mignon (only $43!). It may not look like 10 ounces in the picture, but it is a thick cut, and was grilled to a perfect medium rare plus as requested. The steak was flavorful on its own, but it comes with its own side of chimichurri sauce which I love on steak. The vegetables were good and seemed fresh, not frozen. This was definitely the best deal I've come across for a 10 ounce filet mignon and a side. One of my friends had the Parrillada Mixta ($68) which is a large serving of various meats including skirt steak, flap meat, short rib, Argentine sausage, blood sausage, and sweetbread. It's served on a big cast iron platter with a flame underneath to keep it hot. It's an entrée for two, but he ate most of it on his own, although we did give him a little help. He said he would pass on the sweetbread next time, and substitute one of the sausages for more meat (extra charge). It also came with a large serving of roasted potatoes. Another friend had the Paella Mixta ($32). It was a good size with a mix of clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp, vegetables, and rice. Our server Fred was very friendly and took great care of us. Their menu is large, I would definitely return to try other items or have another filet mignon. The only negative is that they close somewhat early at 8pm on Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, so plan accordingly.

We parked in the lot and came for an early dinner at 5PM on a Wednesday so did not have to wait. The restaurant got busier as the time got closer to 6PM. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, truly stellar. Many servers were bilingual in English and Spanish. There were also a few foods and goods for sale. The interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a wooden house/cabin. As for the food, the complimentary hot bread is very tasty, and we enjoyed the Ensalata Argentina also. We ordered the Parillada Mixta for two (comes with side choice of fries, roasted potatoes, salad, or sauteed vegetables and we chose vegetables), as well as the Risotto Don Juan de Marco. The parillada came with a substantial amount of meat kept warm on a grill, accompanied by a chimichurri. The short rib meat was a bit tough but still tasty. I felt like the risotto was good but not outstanding. We finished with a creme brulee for dessert and someone also ordered a coffee (cortadito). The meal was solid though came out to $150 after tax and tip.

Washed it all down with their fresh bottled lemonade in strawberry and regular. First thing, the bread. So good. It honestly tastes like it's baked fresh daily and that alone makes a difference. Second, they are not stingy with the lobster. Every bite actually has lobster in it, not just filler. Everything was rich, fresh, and super satisfying. The bisque and chowder were the perfect add ons and the pasta and mac and cheese just took it over the top. The vibe is really cute too. It gives under the sea meets Fisherman's Wharf. Easy location, friendly staff, and they even have coloring contests for kids which is such a nice touch. Highly recommend if you're craving a solid lobster roll without leaving Orange County.
