Lomon saltado

Place was nice had decent seating. All employees were nice. I tried the lemongrass beef and the saltado. Both were good. I'd go back i hear the crispy pork belly is the best!

I was in the area for work and needed something quick and simple to eat. We walked over to the shop and as soon as we stepped inside the delicious smell of grilled meats caught our attention. There were a couple of people in the front counter area, taking orders. They were friendly and answered some basic questions. There were maybe a couple of individual seating for people who needed to eat there. Looks more like a takeout type of shop. I noticed a sign outside for their spicy beef noodle soup and decided to get an order of that for dinner for later. I ordered a special combo or dac biet sandwich for lunch and a grilled pork sandwich to go. The staff was thoughtful asked if I preferred the veggies on the side. Yes, please, for the sandwich that I got for my son so that the bread does not get soggy. As for the combo sandwich, I've had better and this was not my favorite for some reason. The bread was bland and didn't have a crunch to it. It reminded me of bakery grocery store rolls that does not have much flavor. And as for the meats, I don't know if they forgot the dressing or sauce, but it was pretty bland. I wasn't that excited about it, but needed to eat so that I wouldn't starve for the rest of the day. Later that night, I ate the spicy beef noodle soup or BBH for dinner and this made up for my lackluster lunch. I've never had fast food style type of BBH soup but this was decent! Not a big deal if there was some MSG in there. There was just the right amount of noodles and meats and veggies that included sliced cabbage and fresh herbs that added to the flavor of the soup . The serving did not include an actual ham hock or gio heo but it was a pig trotter. Thanks, it was just fine. For $7.50 it was a great value. I'd order it again if I was in the area.

Must order at least 3 food items

Came here with mom after hearing about their promotion for bun Bo hue. Currently, they are having the promotion till Feb 9, 2026. We ordered 2 BBH, but the staff informed us that we needed to order another food item. So my mom ordered a beef Banh mi. I m guessing you have to order 3 food items minimum for dine in. For Togo, you also have to order 3, but you cannot order more than 3. Very strange promotion offer..imo. Mom said staffs were friendly. They cracked up some jokes and made the place more lively. The staff was also able to accommodate about the veggies. My mom didnt want the cabbages so they offered some reg greens (lettuce). For the price, the bbh was not bad. I must say that the flavor of bbh wasn't really there. A lot of msg was added as well. I got pretty thirsty after eating it. They provided a good amount of meats. For the price, I honestly didn't think they will include Gio heo in it. I m not a fan of bbh so I won't return for it. Also, I don't think it will be worth it if they switched to reg price or increase the price. On the other hand, their beef Banh mi was delicious. I took two bites and wanted more hahha. However, I was too full from bbh. The meats were tender and flavorful. Totally would get it again. If I return, I wanna try their drinks. I think their sig coffees were about $6 each. Parking lot was pretty small. We parked across the st. Not that many seating available. We sat at the patio. Dunno if there was a rr avail

A friend recommended this place for their pork belly banh mi, and since we were in the area, we decided to check it out. They had a 20% off sale, and I think this place just opened. We ordered two pork belly banh mis, and they were absolutely delicious! The bread was so tasty and toasted to perfection. The pork belly had a crispy, crunchy skin that was just what you want in Asian pork belly. The flavors were perfectly balanced - the bread, the pork, the cold crisp veggies, the mayo - it was just about the perfect banh mi. And it was huge! The Vietnamese iced milk coffee was also great. It was sweet, strong, and delicious! Five enthusiastic stars!

Small shop on the corner of olive and Westminster. They have a small parking lot but surprisingly we didn't have trouble with parking. Walking in you're flooded with a pretty good smell of marinated grilled meat. They have a few tables inside but it's very cramped and you're better off doing take out. Ordered the grilled pork, lemongrass beef and grilled chicken. The grilled pork and grilled chicken were pretty good but I'd skip the lemongrass beef next time. The banh mi was good but there are other places that are better. It's a good shop and service was nice and quick.

I was running errands in the area and wanted to get something quick for lunch. Pickle Banh Mi turned up on my search. I ordered the spicy beef noodles soup (BBH) and a grilled beef banh mi to go. It took a very long time to get the noodles because they were so busy at lunch hour. Beef noodles soup was surprisingly good (considering it's from a banh mi place). I have yet to try the banh mi so review will follow on that. The little shop is clean and has plenty of Vietnamese snacks, desserts, and beverages. Service was good. Employees are polite and respectful. Big plus! Parking is a bit of a problem since there weren't many spots but most people do to go, so it was clear by the time I was done eating my noodles. Will also try their other locations since this one is a bit out of the way for me.

Disappointed in the service but the food is good if you have the patience. Came here a couple of times. I like this location since it's convenient when you're driving off the 405, however, the parking is so limited, you should come here at your own risk. People park in handicap, blocking the entrance, in lanes that isn't an actual parking spot. I had to search for parking down the street and when I walked back, I had to dodge cars that were blocking the walkway. The restaurant was fairly busy with people walking in and out pretty much the whole time I was there. The restaurant has limited seating inside. It's really meant to be a place to pick up to go orders. There are some bar stools inside and small tables outside with umbrellas for shade. I was able to call in and place my order the first time but the second time, I tried to call in my order several times, but the call would not go through. It would go straight to an answering service that does not accept messages. The first time I came, I ordered a Banh Mi Pork Heo Quay (Crispy Pork Belly). I love my Banh Mi's but very few places do it great. It was pretty good, but I still prefer the Heo Quay at Carrot & Daikon. This place have their differences, for example, their pickled veggies are sliced and they have lettuce in their sandwich. Although the veggies are delicious, they don't have that great of a pickled veggies ratio that I would like. Also, they had mostly soft pork and I prefer a better ratio of crispy and soft pieces - maybe I'm just spoiled with the sandwich at Carrot & Daikon. I also prefer their sauce there. The bread here was delicious - soft but crunchy on the outside. The bad. The second time I came, since I couldn't call in my order, I ended up walking in to place my order thinking it would be quick. I ordered a rice plate and a spring roll. They have a promo on their Spicy Beef Noodle for $7.99 but they said it would have taken 30-45 min wait. No thanks. After waiting for 15 min, I watched so many other people that ordered after me receive their order while I'm still waiting. I followed up on my order and they said it wasn't ready. I really don't understand why it would take that long to make two things but ok. Then, 25 min go by and they brought my rice plate but said they forgot my spring roll and it would take another 10 min. Seriously, 30+ minutes for a rice plate and spring rolls?!?? And I wasn't outside waiting either, I was right in front of their register following up and asking about my order. How can they forget???? At this point, daughter is starving and complaining. My husband is asking where I'm at. I can't wait any longer and had to cancel my remaining order. They did apologize and refunded me, but I just don't get how can they forget my order when I'm right there following up and asking about it. It's a little ridiculous and it's not worth my time and patience to come back here. The rice plate with pork chop and egg was pretty good. Pork chop was a little tough but flavor was good. The fried egg was delicious and slightly soft in the yolk. The pickled veggies were generous. The fish sauce complimented the dish so well. However, I would go to the Long Beach location - I prefer it over there.

New and quite nice location. With small parking spaces but with plenty of outside seating area and inside bar window seating. I think they have bigger menu with soup dishes & of course their banh mi. Ordered bún bò Huê and their fish cake sandwich and herb drink. For the price, not bad and very reasonable. Service is great, nice and friendly. Slow on turn around since I was the only customer there at the time. Took about 10mins for the foods to be done. Big portion for the price I admitted, tasty and well cook. The meats are a lot with huge portion of the noodle, the broth is very tasty and yummy too. The banh mi is quite good and great portion of ratio of meat & veggies. I really enjoyed it a lot. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes next time.

I've been here twice already, and both times were great experiences! The service is friendly and fast, and the place looks very clean and organized. The first time, I ordered their #1 Combination Bánh Mì and Chao Long. I really liked the bánh mì, the bread was crispy, and the meats were flavorful. The chao long was decent for a bánh mì spot and something I'd get again if I'm craving a quick bowl of chao. The prices are fair too. On my second visit, I tried the #4 BBQ Pork Bánh Mì, and my son loved it! Overall, this place has become my go-to spot for bánh mì. Highly recommend!

This review is for their premium banh mi. I heard the Lomo Saltado was good and had to try it! I actually really like it! It has filet mignon, fries, sauté onions and bell peppers and mayo or some sauce. I tried the bun bo hue and Ube coffee. The bun Bo hue was okay. Ube coffee was premade. Service was okay. There's a few tables outside but usually people get take out here.

I visited Pickle Banh Mi Co. for the first time since it opened; it's located on the corner of Westminster and Olive. They serve excellent dishes, and the service, atmosphere, and food are all outstanding.

Pork spring rolls and grilled pork Banh Mi

So fresh. So good! I got the pork spring rolls 10/10. Then the grilled pork Banh Mi so good! The baguette was freshly made and warm

Pickle banh mi is one of my favorite banh mi spot, so when I heard they are opening a new location in westminster near my house, I had to come out and support on their grand opening day. They had a special, buy one banh mi get a free cofeee (black or cafe sua da), nuoc mia, or nuoc dua, with a max order of 2 for the promotion. There were about 6 group of people in front of me. I ended buying 2 banh mi, dac biet and cha ca with one black coffee and one cafe sua da. The Banh mi took around 10 minutes to come out, but I got the coffees right away. Since this was grand opening, the workers were kind of disorganized, which is totally understandable. I brought the banh mi's and coffee home for my parents to eat as well. I really like the bread, the banh mi/bread had great texture, crisp, golden crust, and soft snd airy in the middle. Both The dac biet and cha ca had good amount of meat, great flavor, fresh veggies. This was my parent's first time eating Pickle banh mi and both enjoyed it and praised the bread texture. I highly recommend come try this westminster Pickle location. My favorite and go to banh mi are usually the dac biet, thit nuong and the heo quay, add pate if you want extra flavor.

The person helping us was friendly and got our drinks made pretty quickly even with a bit of a line. We got the Double Matcha and the Matcha Einspänner, and both were really well made. The Double Matcha was smooth and rich with a strong matcha flavor that wasn't bitter at all. The Matcha Einspänner was the standout though, that creamy whipped top over the matcha created the perfect balance of rich and refreshing, definitely a unique drink you don't see everywhere. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and everything felt fresh and well made. Great coffee shop overall, and I'll definitely be back to try more off their menu.

I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. Compared to other cafes, I feel like the cost of the drinks is standard, but the prepared food and pastries are on the steeper side. Still a great spot, I enjoy coming for the atmosphere and biscuits!

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.
