The gumbo arrived shortly after with a big mound of white garlic rice in the middle with the gumbo consisting of shrimp, chicken, sausage and the dark brown roux. I did enjoy this meal and appreciated all of the content in the gumbo as the protein included was generous. Taste wise with the flavor of the roux, I graded it at a 4. Which comes with three sides, which are actually very generous. Honestly, I figured that would've fed us both which it could have. But I wanted the fried fish, but there is no option to add that separately. You would have to just get another plate of it. So for the first plate, we got the oxtail. That came over a bed of white rice, which we didn't know. It was very good very filling. We also got a side of mashed potatoes with gravy, which was so good nice and creamy.
