ORDER chicken wings (5/5) fried to perfection! it wasn't greasy at all and super crispy. i asked for the soy garlic sauce on the side. it was good, but i honestly preferred to eat it without sauce. SERVICE 10/10 service! the owner was so kind and checked up on us to make sure we liked everything. AMBIANCE located in AR supermarket. plenty of parking. you can park in the back to enter through the food court.

This place is unbeatable Korean Fried Chicken street food I ever tried. Located inside A.R. Supermarket, this place offers variety of street foods. I ordered medium fried chicken (comes with no bone) which the owner generously gives extra pieces as well the Chicken Curry Katsu (almost similar with Japanese) which has some veggies like peas, carrot and potatoes, making this menu is in huge portion. Once food ready, they will bring the food to your table. Super recommended to try!

This is located in a grocery store in the food hall. You order and the sit wherever there's a table available I love that they have a lunch box set :) it includes three boneless chicken, rice, japchae, potsticker, radish, and kimchi - portions are pretty big! I ordered the soy garlic chicken and my husband ordered the sweet and spicy. The spicy level is very mild and tolerable. The soy garlic was yummy as well - the chicken are a lot more saucy/wet than crispy style. The japchae was warm and delicious side. The owners are super nice!! Gave us a complimentary water bottle when we asked for a cup of water.

This place is so freaking good! Please come here!!! My friend brought me here a few weeks ago and I was blown away. Before this, I believed Korean fried chicken just wasn't my thing. I'd had Korean fried chicken at other restaurants didn't care much for the flavor profiles/seasoning. It always felt too sweet or the flavor was just not my cup of tea, and the crispiness never seemed to hit right. This place does it right! I think it might just be my favorite fried chicken (competing with the first spot with Tenkatori, but they both are S-tier in their respective ways). The chicken is super juicy! The crunch on the chicken is super satisfying! The soy garlic flavor is really, really delicious. The sweet and spicy is good, but would like if it was a bit saltier or spicier? Falls a little short of the soy garlic, in my opinion. I legit went here on a Saturday with a friend, got home and told my husband we should go the next day because I really wanted him to try it, and then we went on Sunday, haha! The lady who served me both times was super kind! And asked us if we liked it both times I went! And hooked me up with a complimentary water bottle the second day. They also provide you gloves to eat with so your hands don't get dirty! Wonderful service!! I will absolutely be back! I want all my friends to come here lol, so will definitely be recommending and introducing it to them.

1. The Korean Fried Chicken had a good battered with lots of meat! The popstickers had a lot of filling! I definitely like the japchae! 2. The spot has casual vibes! It is very spacious since it is located inside a supermarket! 3. There are only indoor seatings! A good number of tables available! 4. The staff were friendly! They told me that my meal would take a bit longer than usually since they have to wait for the oil for the batter to heat up (I was the first customer at opening) 5. Parking lot is huge, but nearby parking can get crowded depending on time and day! Spots are double-lined and not compact! Note: This spot does not have their own restroom, but the market may have their own restrooms nearby! Photo: Chicken Box (Sweet & Spicy)

Fantastic, friendliness, courtesy, kind and warm service from a couple that run the stall. It is inside the AR market, at the food hall area. The menu is simple and most are street foods and with good prices for the portion. I ordered 3 pieces of sweet & spicy fried chicken box set (with 3 pieces of fried dumpling & japchae and 2 generous scoops of white rice). It was delish and it comes with kimchi & radish pickles. Just yum!!! The chicken is tender & juicy plus stil crispy even with the wet sauce. I ate all of them except one scoop of rice...too much. Also he gave me an extra piece of chicken (4 instead of 3, how kind & very nice). Once you order, it might take abit also depending if they're busy or not since he runs the front, the woman is cooking in the back by herself. But it worth it. I really enjoyed it after I shopped at the market. Will be back to try other foods.

What makes this chicken place incomparable to other Korean fried chicken places is the flexibility of the amount you can get and the juiciest chicken you will ever have. More juicer than Kyochon and Bonchon. You have to be careful when biting into their chicken, the juice will drip down your chin and onto the table. I was watching my friend eat and the juice had a projectile! It was that juicy. Furthermore, this little shop is run by an old couple, and they make sure you are acknowledged and will ask if the food is good or not. This is located in a Korean shopping store (AR), and honestly some of the deals here are better than h-mart sometimes if you really look. There are many tables to sit at and usually clean for you to sit at. You will probably find most customers be mostly old Korean people but that is because they know where the good stuff is at.

tried this korean fried chicken spot inside ar supermarket and was not disappointed! the food is yummy and priced very fairly and the owner was so kind!! it's one of the first stores you see in the food court area. definitely give it a try if you're in the area or shopping around!

I came across this mom and pop shop that I decided to try out because I love trying out new kfc places with very decent prices. The portions are very huge and I could barely finish my food. The owners were really nice and for 2 items it was $33 with tax which isn't bad to feed 2 people. I'll be back to try their wings!!

We've been having Grace & Peter's food since they were in Newark, CA (under the restaurant, My No. 1 Korean Bbq & Tofu) and we wanted to extend our support/congratulations at their new establishment here in Garden Grove! You can see how well loved they were at their Bay Area restaurant here: https://yelp.to/fRa7DxGOhJ The food has always been served with such love, passion, and flavor--Im so happy to know that folks down here in SoCal will be able to enjoy their delicious food. The soy garlic chicken is something so special and a constant craving by the whole family. Portion size is so generous and will get you full!! Grace & Peter, the owners, are the sweetest couple and always wants to ensure their customers are satisfied. Even in the Bay Area, they had a community supporting and loving their food. :)

Kkoma Chicken knocks every other korean fried chicken place out of the park! There are rare occasions where I would make the one hour drive back home at peak traffic during my long school days. However, Kkoma Chicken is one of the few exceptions I will make the drive! Blast music in my car and I'm ready to go against the 73 and 405 freeway traffic just for some korean fried chicken made by Peter and Grace. This has been a routine after almost every midterm for my best friend and I since winter quarter. It's worth it because I am guanteeed a friendly interaction with the owners, generous portions, AND fresh, high quality korean food at an affordable price. Fried Chicken -Kkoma Chicken offers three flavors: original, soy garlic, and sweet & spicy. They prove that you do not need an extensive sauce list to be great as three is enough to showcase their culinary talents. Regardless of whichever flavor you choose, you will recieve fresh to order battered chicken thighs. These boneless pieces are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside (so juicy, you will be in the splash zone!). Tteokkbokki -Perfectly chewy rice cakes with a slight kick! I normally always orders a cup of this to eat on the side. Tip: Dip the fried chicken into the tteokkbokki sauce! Sikhye (rice punch): -This is a must-try item on their menu. I always get it to serve as a refreshing drink to sip on- it helps with digestion after a big meal too! This place makes it perfectly sweeten and chilled without ice. Even my friends who were skeptical by the translation name thought it was delicous- heck, they even bought themselves a cup! This mom and pop spot is found in the AR Supermarket food court. The location might be hidden, but it is a gem that needs all the attention and popularity. The food is wonderful, and so are the lovely, humble owners. Peter will always go the extra mile to check up on you while cracking some jokes that will make your day. The food might take awhile but trust me, it is worth the wait. His wife, Grace, is always chefing it up in the back to provide authentic flavors.

The pork jowl and pork belly are DIVINE - clearly high quality. Workers hand us a sticker with specs about the preparation and aging process, which is oddly charming and shows how much pride they take in their meat. The staff even cooks everything for us, so we can sit back and stuff our faces. The sides are great too. Tangy pickled or fermented veggies, sweet pineapple, mushrooms, and soups help cut through all that richness from the fat. The pork and kimchi soup especially hits - it's super comforting and balances out the meal. This is also a great alternative if you're craving BBQ but don't have the stomach space for AYCE. These portions leave us full and satisfied every time. Overall, an amazing spot for a casual, pork-centric feast!

I barely had to touch them before the meat was basically falling off the bone. The broth had a deep, comforting flavor without being overly salty (which is a blessing to enjoy the flavor). We also ordered the pork cutlet on the side, and honestly, the portion was massive for like a quick lunch. Crispy, filling, and definitely enough to take leftovers home! The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth with Korean signage and an artsy wall, no fancy décor or over-the-top presentation. Service is straightforward and efficient. You're not here to be pampered. I've been once…read morebefore, but I'm still very much in the "watch the people next to me and copy their homework" phase of the experience. The meal starts with what feels like an endless lineup of little side dishes, a fried fish, rice in a scorching hot stone bowl, and then the bubbling tofu soup (medium spice for me) arrives like it's angry at the table. I ordered the bulgogi combo (C2) and everything was flavorful, comforting, and honestly just fun to eat. OK maybe a few too many onions for me. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke. I took home enough leftovers for round two the next day. If you've only done Korean BBQ before, this is a completely different experience and definitely worth trying. Bring friends, come hungry, and don't be afraid to look a little confused your first time. Apparently that's part of the experience. Easy 5 stars for me. P. S. Quick shout out to the wait staff they are super attentive, smiling, and helpful. Maybe they could sense my menu awkwardness
