    Bimbimbap

Stopped here to have lunch at the food court today for the first time. We decided to walk the food court to see what our options were. As we passed each little shop people just sort of looked at us, until we got to Moobongri. There was a nice woman with rounded black rimmed glasses who said hello and introduced us to the menus. She was so personable my son told me he wanted food there and didn't need to look any further. He got the bimbimbap they labeled the "bestseller" and was very happy with his order. Service was excellent and his food came in a stone clay pot that kept his food warm the entire meal. Quality is great here. You can tell they really care. My son asked the lady if she is the owner and she said she's a friend. The amount of care she took to explain things made it seem like she is the owner.

Tried Moobongri Soondae at the H Mart food hall, a well-known Korean chain with 30+ years in Korea and many of U.S. locations (CA, Vegas, Texas, Denver, Chicago, Oakland... they're everywhere). Their specialty is soondae soup (Korean blood sausage stew). I've only tried soondae once in my life when I was living in Seoul and honestly was traumatized by the iron/bloody taste so I didn't dare order it again. I went for the spicy stir-fried squid instead. Flavor was good and pretty authentic, but definitely on the spicy side though - perfect with beer/drinks and rice. Side dishes tasted good, too. The cashier was friendly! Overall, the taste feels very Korean and true to the original chain. Worth trying if you're exploring classic Korean comfort food!

One of the food stores inside the new Hmart. I like how they kind of assigned each restaurant/food store here a different kind/category of food so none of the shops here ending up serving the same or similar items too much. We ended up trying this place because I wanted the kalbi-tang, the beef short ribs soup with veggies. Yoo's place and Moobongri both offers this but I believe Moobong is $1 cheaper and I eat Yoo's so many times at that two original locations, I wanted to try Moobong. The beef short ribs soup was packed with flavor, four pieces of meat, very little amount of veggies and since we didn't get the one with vermicelli, there were basically just really good broth and meat and rice. One of the things I really want to mention is their banchan is sooo good! Their radish and kimchi are soooo good! Such great flavor. I would def come back and get other items in the menu and also just to be able to eat their radish and kimchi again. Staff were also super nice.

#32 on the menu. Tasted fine with a great food court located inside the H Mart.

I was in the city looking to find food and decided to check out the H Mart nearby. There is a decent selection of restaurants to choose from and the food area was generally quite clean. Would come back again.

    Neck Bone Soup

From beginning to end my experience was wonderful. Staring with the lovely lady at the front counter. She was very friendly and spent her time explaining all the yummy options on the menu! Portion sizes were perfect and very filling, would highly recommend the Spicy Pork Neck Bone Soup! The broth was very tasty and flavorful, with lots of meat. It also comes with multiple sides. Overall, I would rate the service and food a 5/5! MUST TRY!! Give the lady at the front counter a raise!! She is amazing!! She is very proud of all the food she has to offer.

The good - Spicy Soondae Soup $18 (plus tax of course) was flavorful with the perfect level of spice. It wasn't too spicy where you can't even taste the ingredients and the broth was not gamy. Soondae was delicious along with the white rice, radish kimchi and cabbage kimchi included on the side. The young man out front was super polite and accommodating especially when I decided to change my order. Will try more from here.

I'm a fan! They were so nice here and it feels like a real family run business. The bulgogi was flavorful and came on a hot plate. Presentation was great with the kimchi (delicious) and rice on the side too.

The pork jowl and pork belly are DIVINE - clearly high quality. Workers hand us a sticker with specs about the preparation and aging process, which is oddly charming and shows how much pride they take in their meat. The staff even cooks everything for us, so we can sit back and stuff our faces. The sides are great too. Tangy pickled or fermented veggies, sweet pineapple, mushrooms, and soups help cut through all that richness from the fat. The pork and kimchi soup especially hits - it's super comforting and balances out the meal. This is also a great alternative if you're craving BBQ but don't have the stomach space for AYCE. These portions leave us full and satisfied every time. Overall, an amazing spot for a casual, pork-centric feast!

Arrived at 5: 20pm and there was only two parties ahead of us. Not bad! We were seated and from the way the table was setup, it gave an authentic Korean restaurant vibe. We went ahead and ordered their Combo B meal ($69) which had three types of meat, kimchi soup, and a soup of our choice. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Pork Jowl tasted tender and the cooks were able to prepare it just right. Skirt meat was also tasty. Portions were just perfect for a party of 2. We had a great time dining in here. Will definitely come back again.

I barely had to touch them before the meat was basically falling off the bone. The broth had a deep, comforting flavor without being overly salty (which is a blessing to enjoy the flavor). We also ordered the pork cutlet on the side, and honestly, the portion was massive for like a quick lunch. Crispy, filling, and definitely enough to take leftovers home! The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth with Korean signage and an artsy wall, no fancy décor or over-the-top presentation. Service is straightforward and efficient. You're not here to be pampered. You're here for hot, delicious comfort food done right.

Ambiance? Just mom and pop restaurant fell. Service was good. We got the Dried Pollack Soup (북어국) and Dumpling & Rice Cake Soup (떡만두국). We were so full, we didn't even bother ordering anything else. Will definitely come back to this location.

Man was I surprised by this one!…read more Dawa Kitchen is a delicious spot nestled in the corner of the plaza. FOOD: The Katsu Curry is easily the best deal on the menu for sharing. For $25 you get a huge chicken katsu with curry pairing. The katsu was crispy, hot, and fresh when it came out. Very tasty! The curry itself is good, but doesn't have the same punch of flavor as other curry katsu places. Still good though! This dish could definitely feed 2 people. We also opted for the Ddeokbokki. This dish had great flavor and the rice cakes were cooked perfectly! Just as a heads up, if you are used to Ddeokbokki having extra's like fish cake and cheese, this does not come with it unless added. Overall, for value and flavor this is great! PARKING: Parking is tight in the complex and I would recommend getting there early just in case there's none available. WAIT/AMBIANCE: This place was packed when we arrived with a clear waitlist of 5+ parties. Try to get on the Yelp waitlist ahead of time to make sure you get seated in a timely manner. You can also look to make a reservation as that was also faster for me! Overall ambiance is good, and the restaurant was playing some Justin Bieber! DRINKS: For a casual dining place we opted to get soju and a beer as it was $10 per bottle. Also not too bad of a deal to pair with your meal! Overall would recommend this place! Delicious and great value!

Mine wasn't much different on this particular trip. 5/14/26 around 20:30- They dont greet you- just seat you and assume you know what to do. When asked if I could place the order with the server instead of using the table top machine- she was visibly annoyed with my request. When taking our order, she was very impatient and seemingly annoyed with me. When I informed her that the food that came out was incorrect and that she had gotten my order wrong- she began berating me in front of my family, insisting that the mistake was in the way I ordered rather than the fact that she kept talking over me while I was ordering. I had to ask her to ' calm down ' before she took a breath, finally. We used to love coming here as their food was always consistently good. But lately the food is hit or miss and the service is getting progressively worse. We wont be returning for awhile. At least until some more staff turnover occurs. That lady is nasty!
