    Octopus & Bulgogi Yubu
    Ashley C.

Ordered some yubu here to take to go and was kinda disappointed. The actual amount of protein on top was so small compared to the huge amount of rice. Besides that, they practically crumble apart after the first bite. The bulgogi was dry, and was hoping for more flavor overall.

Came here for lunch at the food court in hmart for the first time and deciding on this in addition to fried chicken we also ordered. This was much better than the fried chicken. Crisp and decent fried dumpling taste.

    Yubu pockets

Was starving after doing some shipping. My boyfriend and i shared 3 yubu pockets (tofu skins with rice and a topping - in this case, salmon mayo / tuna mayo / and eel) as well as a bulgogi dish. There were tons of dumplings - my boyfriend said he'd come back another time for them. I'm impressed with the pockets - fun and convenient.

I spent 3.5 hours in HMart and as I was leaving I was shocked to see the food court. Wow it was so big, after touring all the food stalls and having a smoothie at Gongchai, I decided on the Korean dumplings. I checked Yelp and was surprised this was a franchise and this CHD is huge teeming w workers in the kitchen but nobody had entered this business in Yelp yet. I decided to enter it and was set to order but the guy (I took a picture of him) at the cashier was extremely rude, I had never had dumplings before so I asked for info so I could order, I asked 3,4 x no answer, was he a deaf mute? So I walked away and came back today to order. I'm glad I came back today, the girl at the cashier was very nice and helpful. This was the most delicious dumplings I had ever had, it was so flavorful, so different from the Chinese XLB or Japanese gyoza, it was fried on a pan to make it really crispy. Not knowing what to order, I decided on the sampler, it had 2 of each flavor, 6 total for $14.95. My recommendation is the smoked pork dumplings, the smoke taste was so unique, I did not like the jalapeno, it was not very hot but just off key changing the taste of the dumplings. I should have ordered the shrimp wonton soup, it sure looked good, I went to Paik soup, rated 4 stars on Yelp, it was a disaster, a total waste of money, unless you are Korean and used to this, the taste of the seafood soup was weird and so bland. So there you have it, come try this amazing dumplings store, you may ask why do I not rate this 5 stars when I was drooling over the aroma (4 stars is also very good already). I told them we are near Little Saigon, it makes no sense for such a delicious dumpling not to have any hot sauce, Siracha or even Tabasco, furthermore, it was too sweet, they should have some vinegar or lemon, I like VN restaurants, everything you need is on the table, all condiments, vinegar, hot sauces, fish sauce and soy sauce. I sat down to eat but was bent out of shape not having siracha, so we wrapped everything up and took them home to eat. If the manager/owner read this, pl have a bottle of Siracha, not expensive but it will attract Vietnamese customers and pl tell the rude dude to lighten up. 9-4-2025 I was encouraged to be the first to review this CHD dumplings, I was the one adding the business to Yelp. I was shocked they designated someone else as the 1st, YRLP THIS is not COOL.

This location is inside the Hmart food court. The food took a while to be ready but it made sense as it is a busy food court. Pick up was easy and done by a number/ticket system. We got the sampler that had the pork, shrimp, beef, kimchi, and jalapeno. I liked how we could try each flavor and the crispiness of each one. Most of the fillings were pretty good but I was impressed by the smokiness of the meat.

so yummy!!! definitely my favorite place to get dumplings. the food court can get crowded so a seat can be hard to find during peak hours. the workers aren't the friendliest but the dumplings always hit. smoky sweet pork (5/5) - so so so yummy!! i tried these in the sampler and i get them every time now. they're so juicy and flavorful, definitely a must try!

The pork jowl and pork belly are DIVINE - clearly high quality. Workers hand us a sticker with specs about the preparation and aging process, which is oddly charming and shows how much pride they take in their meat. The staff even cooks everything for us, so we can sit back and stuff our faces. The sides are great too. Tangy pickled or fermented veggies, sweet pineapple, mushrooms, and soups help cut through all that richness from the fat. The pork and kimchi soup especially hits - it's super comforting and balances out the meal. This is also a great alternative if you're craving BBQ but don't have the stomach space for AYCE. These portions leave us full and satisfied every time. Overall, an amazing spot for a casual, pork-centric feast!

Arrived at 5: 20pm and there was only two parties ahead of us. Not bad! We were seated and from the way the table was setup, it gave an authentic Korean restaurant vibe. We went ahead and ordered their Combo B meal ($69) which had three types of meat, kimchi soup, and a soup of our choice. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Pork Jowl tasted tender and the cooks were able to prepare it just right. Skirt meat was also tasty. Portions were just perfect for a party of 2. We had a great time dining in here. Will definitely come back again.

I barely had to touch them before the meat was basically falling off the bone. The broth had a deep, comforting flavor without being overly salty (which is a blessing to enjoy the flavor). We also ordered the pork cutlet on the side, and honestly, the portion was massive for like a quick lunch. Crispy, filling, and definitely enough to take leftovers home! The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth with Korean signage and an artsy wall, no fancy décor or over-the-top presentation. Service is straightforward and efficient. You're not here to be pampered. You're here for hot, delicious comfort food done right.

Ambiance? Just mom and pop restaurant fell. Service was good. We got the Dried Pollack Soup (북어국) and Dumpling & Rice Cake Soup (떡만두국). We were so full, we didn't even bother ordering anything else. Will definitely come back to this location.

Man was I surprised by this one!…read more Dawa Kitchen is a delicious spot nestled in the corner of the plaza. FOOD: The Katsu Curry is easily the best deal on the menu for sharing. For $25 you get a huge chicken katsu with curry pairing. The katsu was crispy, hot, and fresh when it came out. Very tasty! The curry itself is good, but doesn't have the same punch of flavor as other curry katsu places. Still good though! This dish could definitely feed 2 people. We also opted for the Ddeokbokki. This dish had great flavor and the rice cakes were cooked perfectly! Just as a heads up, if you are used to Ddeokbokki having extra's like fish cake and cheese, this does not come with it unless added. Overall, for value and flavor this is great! PARKING: Parking is tight in the complex and I would recommend getting there early just in case there's none available. WAIT/AMBIANCE: This place was packed when we arrived with a clear waitlist of 5+ parties. Try to get on the Yelp waitlist ahead of time to make sure you get seated in a timely manner. You can also look to make a reservation as that was also faster for me! Overall ambiance is good, and the restaurant was playing some Justin Bieber! DRINKS: For a casual dining place we opted to get soju and a beer as it was $10 per bottle. Also not too bad of a deal to pair with your meal! Overall would recommend this place! Delicious and great value!

Cons: - everything was a bit sweet - the pork katsu was a bit bland as well as the mac salad side dish - the pork katsu sort of peeled away from the meat because of the heat of the dish overall: - great service, big portions, would visit again! just beware if you want a spicer version of these dishes and a stronger taste. the katsu could have been a bit crisper as well, I think the bibimbap was done very well. the dishes are served in a stone plate keeping them hot through the meal
