Another group with the same amount of people came after us and received a sushi roll we had also ordered before we had gotten a single rice roll. I called over a server with lashes and a pony tail saying "Hi, I wanted to know what the priority is for the kitchen as it took 40 minutes for us to receive the couple dishes we had but the other table who came after us received a roll we ordered as well." Mind you that table had received all of their ramens and had been eating. I told her I completely understand the hot food is a different person and I had absolutely no problem with them receiving the ramen, but why did we not get priority for that roll? She didn't apologize for the wait and had a very blunt/rude way of speaking to us. When I was mid sentence, she walked away to pull our original server. However, even though she walked around the corner I was still able to hear her tell the other server quite loudly what was happening. Our server was extremely professional and apologized for the delay and reiterated the delay in you the kitchen. I told her I completely understand there was a delay but if she had told us while we were making our order that the sushi items may be delayed due to being understaffed, we would have changed our order to have more hot foods. I also told her I wanted to speak to a shift lead at that point because the server with the lashes walking away mid sentence was one of the rudest things I've experienced at a restaurant. The manager apologized and it still ended up taking another hour for all the food to come out and they still forgot the last two rolls we needed. We had to remind them we were still waiting on the rolls. One of the rolls was the roll given to the table that started the whole thing. We literally spent $500 for a bad two hour and fifteen minute experience. They also didn't refill drinks until an hour and a half in. My family and I spend at least $500 each time we go here and suffice to say, we aren't coming back.

We were a party of four, and because of the way the all-you-can-eat ordering system currently works, you're limited to a certain number of plates per section every 10 minutes. Our first round took around 20 minutes to come out, and one of our first-round orders didn't even arrive until last call. Naturally, we felt like we barely had a chance to eat and politely explained this to the manager when he came over to tell us to place our last orders. Instead of listening or trying to accommodate us, he responded in a very rude and passive-aggressive manner, saying things like, "Every time you guys come, you leave food," and "I've given you guys enough time." Neither statement is true--we always eat what we order and have never had an issue like this. When we simply asked for a little more time because our food was taking so long, he responded, "So what do you guys want?" and then walked away saying, "Okay, yeah, whatever, bro." What made it worse was that while we were still waiting on food we had already ordered, he came over and turned off our grill. We had to ask another server to turn it back on because we still had orders coming out. If the restaurant is taking a long time to bring out food, that shouldn't be held against the customer. The food was still good, and I want to emphasize that the other staff members were great. This review is specifically about the manager and how he handled the situation. We are regular customers and have never caused problems, so being spoken to that way by a manager was incredibly disrespectful and unnecessary. Customer service matters, especially when you're dealing with paying customers who are simply trying to get what they ordered. I hope management addresses this because this experience definitely left a bad impression.

They were busy and they just opened! I waited outside and luckily there was a seat available. I went when they had lunch specials, so that's what I got. I got the 4 hand rolls that come with miso soup and edamame. I wasn't feeling the blue crab hand roll and asked if I could substitute it for something else. And they said it was okay, so I got another salmon. I've always wanted to try the premium rolls, so I got the A5 Wagyu with uni. Salmon is my favorite, so I loved that they allowed me to get another one in place of the blue crab hand roll. I enjoyed the spicy tuna crunch. I'm not a big fan of spicy tuna, but this wasn't too spicy for me. And the crunch gives good texture to the hand roll. The scallop hand roll was nice and refreshing. It has umami from the mayo (or kewpie) they add to it. The premium A5 Wagyu with uni was my favorite! The A5 had great taste and texture. Very well seasoned and the chew is perfection. It melts in your mouth like butter, which is probably why it pairs well with the Uni. The Uni has a nice, velvety texture - similar to how the A5 Wagyu does. And the caviar on top give it a little saltiness. The ambiance is nice, but can get loud esp when it gets crowded. This definitely is a bar-like seating. Which is nice because you also get that interaction with your servers / roll makers. I will definitely be coming back here and brining my Husband so he can try it here!
