I was super disappointed coming across this tiny sushi stand inside a supermarket after reading so many good review. We stopped by around lunch time and so we were expecting some decent quality food in the middle of the day. The lady at the counter was so unwelcoming. Barely spoke to us, and was not at all thrilled that we're there. Super rude because she just throws us the bag to put our stuff in. Maybe she's having a bad day or something. The price is ok for sushi. My sashimi is absolutely can't be swallowed. Super fishy and tastes stale. The california roll was just okay. Nothing spectacular. :D The old Vietnamese lady worker speaks English and Vietnamese. She was cheery and easy to talk to. Customer service is wonderful and I enjoyed my time spent watching make the rolls for us. I was not sure if the sushi was worth to try before coming here but let me tell you that the prices have been the same for more than a year. Happened to saw this spot on Yelp. The lady can make your sushi order fresh in front of you if you don't want to get the already made ones from the fridge. This location is small and is located inside of a Vietnamese Supermarket. Accepts cash and card. Rice is really soft but not dry. Their fish cuts are thick and not mushy. Quality is not bad. Tastes like good sushi! I would come back and support the business. read more

Good deal for a bargain supermarket sushi. Just got a couple spicy California rolls everything seemed to be fresh my son was happy.

Whenever I have a craving for sushi, I would come here. I honestly don't care about the price going up since I'm supporting a small local business. This place fulfills my craving and I can eat their sushi every week. I just need to know if or when the lady will start accepting credit cards since whenever I have a craving, I would buy at least 5 bentos every time. read more

Raised prices to 10$ for 2 just for california rolls and 13$ for 2 for any other rolls. Fish did not look appetizing and probably would prefer eating elsewhere at the price point. California rolls were as they should taste though. read more

They have sushi plates premade in the case for a quick grab and go option but they will also make you a fresh option if you don't see what you want in the case. You can't be the price 2 rolls for $9 read more

This spot is located inside the supermarket. Came here around 6-7 and spotted this little sushi spot. There wasn't a lot of selection to choose from but the lady just made them fresh so I thought why not try? It was 2 for $6 or 4 for $10 which is unbelievably cheap. When I came, there were rolls and nigiri to chose from. The rolls were california, eel, and masago. The nigiri had red snapper, salmon, and tuna. Everything tasted very fresh, there was no hint of fishiness at all! The lady was very nice so A+ for customer service haha. They take card in the day time but cash only during the night, just for a heads up. The only downfall I would say is that the rice ratio for the nigiri was kind of a lot and on top of that the rice wasn't soft, it was kind of hard. This spot is my favorite. It is a nice balance in price and quality. Got a few rolls here and it is amazing how simple yet delicious the food is. Don't be deterred that it's located in a supermarket, I think it's a hidden gem if anything. They just started making Poke bowls and I have to say it is outstanding. It's inside the mall, there isn't tables but if you want to eat near there you can also go to a nearby bakery store where are outside tables that you can use if you buy something there, like something to drink. The price for 3 boxes of sushi was $11 it has 24 rolls, very cheap !! The taste is good, the most important is that is fresh. There's no many options so you are not going to find special rolls. Located inside a supermarket but it is quick and easy to snag the cheapest sushi in town to go and staff is nice and friendly!

Not your typical sushi spot but the flavor will surprise you. I got a poki bowl and it was packed full of flavor, my new go-to spot. Compared to other spots the flavor here really stands out. The price is probably one of the cheapest around OC as well, highly recommend to try it. read more

This is very cheap sushi! Broke people like me who crave sushi but don't wanna spend $20+ will probably love this. It's located inside an Asian supermarket, right where you enter almost.
